    Gestern mal ein bisschen nach Berichten & Bildern zum RIG Transocean Marianas gesucht, ist wohl immer noch in Port Walvis Bay:

    HRT ANNOUNCES THE ARRIVAL OF TRANSOCEAN MARIANAS SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE RIG IN WALVIS BAY

    Rio de Janeiro, February 7th, 2013 - HRT Participações em Petróleo S.A. (the "Company" or "HRT") (BM&FBOVESPA: HRTP3, TSX-V: HRP) announces that today the semi-submersible drilling-rig Transocean Marianas from Transocean (NYSE: RIG) arrived in Walvis Bay at 5:00am local time. The rig will undergo mandatory maintenance for the next three to four weeks, before starting HRT’s drilling campaign in Walvis and Orange sedimentary basins.

    As noted by the Company on January 15, 2013, the Marianas is expected to commence drilling operations on the Wingat Prospect, in Walvis basin at HRT’s Petroleum Exploration License 23 (PEL-23), by March 2013. Wingat is located at a water depth of 1,000 meters and drilling operations are expected to last approximately 60 days.

    Sagen wir mal Mitte März geht es los, plus 60 Tage das macht rund Mitte Mai.

    => Es dauert immer länger, also Mitte Juni, bis der erste Drill über die Bühne ist und wir mehr wissen. :D

    Letzte Nacht ist das Rig Transocean Marianans im Port Walvis Bay angekommen.

    Soweit ich weiß (und erinnere) soll jetzt ca. 4 Wochen überholt und repariert werden und dann soll es mit dem ersten Explorationswell im Walvis Basin losgehen.

    Mai/ Juni erste Ergebnisse?

    Eco Atlantic partners sign Joint Operating Agreements on all offshore licenses ahead of imminent regional drilling campaigns

    TORONTO, Jan. 28, 2013 /CNW/ - ECO (ATLANTIC) OIL AND GAS LTD. (TSX-V: EOG; NSX: EOG) Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas Ltd. ("Eco Atlantic" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that, through its wholly- owned subsidiary, it has signed three Joint Operating Agreements ("JOA's" or the "Agreements") with NAMCOR, the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia, and Azimuth Ltd. ("Azimuth"), an exploration and production company backed by majority-owner Seacrest Capital Ltd. and Petroleum Geo-Services ASA ("PGS").

    The Agreements were signed with respect to the Guy, Sharon and Cooper license blocks (Collectively, the "Licenses") located in the prospective Walvis Basin offshore Namibia.

    Colin Kinley, Chief Operating Officer of Eco Atlantic, from the Company's Windhoek office in Namibia commented: "The Agreements signed by NAMCOR and Azimuth is an important event for the Company and will enhance the exploration efforts of our three offshore blocks.     Ganz heimlich, still und leise hat man am 13.01. eine neue Präsentation online gestellt.

    Wer es noch nicht auf Hotcopper entdeckt hat, hier ein Videomitschnitt einer Präsentation von Marcio Mello, CEO von HRT. Müsste Mitte 2012 gewesen sein.

    Die Präsentation ist nicht nur voller Infos zu HRT und deren Unternehmungen in Brasilien und Namibia sondern zusätzlich auch noch SEHR(!) unterhaltsam.
