White Metal Resources Corp. (TSX-V:WHM) is engaged in mineral exploration in Canada, particularly in the provinces of Ontario and Newfoundland. White Metal Resources Corp. focuses its activities on its 100% owned Gunners Cove Property located approximately 20 km north of St. Anthony on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland where, recently, significant grab samples have revealed the discovery of numerous gold zones.


Gunners Cove, Newfoundland
The Gunners Cove Property, is a new precious metals discovery with no previous work completed other than selective grab samples collected during previous limited prospecting programs. Precious and base metal mineralization is associated with pyrite-rich accumulations/nodules in graphitic argillaceous black shale. Selective grab samples have returned assay values as high as 5.86 g/t gold, 8.0 g/t silver, 0.13% copper, and 375 ppm molybdenum.

The style of mineralization at the Gunners Cove Property is very unique and is quite possibly the only project of its kind in Canada, with anomalous gold, silver and base metals, in this type of geological environment. Although there is still much to learn about the geological environment of the property, there are some global examples of significant gold projects hosted or associated with nodular pyrite-bearing black shale units, which may have some similarities to the Gunners Cove property. Anomalous gold in nodular pyrite hosted by black shale occur in association with:

(a) the Kalgoorlie Goldfields gold deposits in Australia,
(b) the Sokio Log deposit in Russia and,
(c) the Moro do Ouro/Paracatu deposit in Brazil.

Based on positive sampling results to date, an airborne and radiometric survey is proposed over the property to assist in tracing the prospective gold bearing horizon along strike.

White Metal Resources Corp. has completed its due diligence on the Namibian Altan and Taranis projects and has accepted all of the terms (see news releases dated June 18, 2019, and May 13, 2019). In addition, the Company has received Ministry of Mines and Energy ("MME") approval from the Namibian Government for the Taranis Agreement, which includes Exclusive Prospecting Licence ("EPL") 7071 and the Altan Agreement, which includes EPLs 7028, 7029, and 7030. With this government approval the Company now has the right to pursue its exploration activities on the two projects.

The massive sulphides were uncovered approximately 12 metres northeast of the recently discovered copper showing reported earlier this year (see news release dated June 20, 2019).

WHITE METAL SIGNS BINDING LETTER OF AGREEMENT TO OPTION DORWIT COPPER-SILVER PROPERTY IN THE KALAHARI COPPERBELT, NAMIBIA

White Metal Resources Corp. has signed a binding letter of agreement (LOA) with natural resources investor RZJ Capital Management LLC, whereby RZJ has the right to purchase 70 per cent of White Metal's 100-per-cent-owned private Namibian company, Aloe 237. Aloe 237 holds title to the Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPL 7028, 7029 and 7030) that comprise the Dorwit copper-silver property (the "Property").

The partners, RZJ and WHM, will work towards the signing of a definitive agreement (the "Agreement") in the near future.

The terms of the binding LOA (the "Option") between RZJ and WHM (together the "Companies") are as follows:

On signing, RZJ will pay WHM a non-refundable CAD$100,000 deposit and shall have a three month exclusive due diligence period from signing of the LOA.

At the end of the three month period and a positive due diligence review, RZJ will pay to WHM a total of CAD$500,000 with half in shares (equivalent to CAD$250,000) and half as a cash payment of CAD$250,000............

White Metal Resources Corp. has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Luxury Investments One Hundred and Ninety Two Pty. Ltd., Kalahari Copper Ltd. and Newco Management Team of South Africa (NMT). Along with White Metal, these three parties have agreed to work together on examining small-scale production possibilities in areas of Namibia covered by exclusive prospecting licences (EPL) controlled by White Metal (EPL 7071) and Kalahari Copper (EPLs 7082, 7079, 6998, 7081). Luxury Investments has been successfully running a small-scale mining operation in Namibia for over two years, producing approximately 200 to 250 tonnes per month of copper concentrate at a grade of 30% Cu. These small-scale operations are in close proximity to the EPLs held by White Metal and Kalahari. The parties will work in collaboration to see if the concept of small-scale mining would be effective on the Okohongo Cu-Ag deposit (White Metal) and any other prospects within the above mentioned EPLs.

White Metal has recently received from the Namibian Government (Ministry of Environment and Tourism), the required Environmental Clearance Certificates ("ECC") for Exclusive Prospecting License 7071 (the "Taranis Property") and EPLs 7028, 7029, and 7030 (the "Altan" or "DorWit Property"), and with this the Company can begin its exploration programs in Namibia. The approved ECC documents give clearance for the Company to proceed with planned geophysical surveys and drilling programs in the coming months. The Taranis and DorWit properties are held by White Metal's 100% owned Namibian subsidiary companies Aloe 238 and Aloe 237, respectively (see Company news release dated June 18, 2019).

Thunder Bay, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - May 20, 2020) - Benton Resources Inc. (TSXV: BEX) ('Benton' or 'the Company') is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into a binding Letter Of Intent ("LOI") with White Metal Resources Corp (TSXV: WHM) ("WHM") whereby Benton can earn up to a 70% interest in WHM's Far Lake project (the "Property") located 80km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Recent exploration completed by WHM led to the discovery of a high-grade, semi-massive sulphide copper occurrence. Recent trenching and sampling programs at the Far Lake copper-silver-gold project provided results that include a 0.7m channel sample across massive sulphide that assayed 22.0% Cu, 30.2 g/t Ag, and 0.25 g/t Au as well as another channel sample that graded 3.54% Cu over 3m, including 4.96% Cu over 1m. Mineralization is located within a northwest-southeast trending, brecciated and silicified structure that bisects a regional granitic pluton. Sulphide mineralization in the structure has been delineated for approximately 400m and remains open in all directions. In addition, a parallel zone 2.1km west of the copper occurrence was located in the spring of 2020 and exhibits a similar intense brecciation and silicification. This second structure has been traced intermittently over a 5km strike length with chalcopyrite (copper sulphide) mineralization occurring throughout. The new zone is highly silicified and exhibits brecciation and an abundance of quartz veining with local silicified areas measuring up to 200m wide. Mineralization identified to-date on the Property displays characteristics suggestive of multiple mineralizing events, at both the property and regional scale.........

In consideration, Benton will make the following payments to White Metal:

First year: $55,000, 700,000 shares and $200,000 in exploration;

Second year: $50,000, 400,000 shares and $200,000 in exploration;

Fourth year: 500,000 shares (second option) and $300,000 in exploration;

White Metal Resources Corp.'s maiden diamond drilling program is under way at its Far Lake copper-silver project, located in northwest Ontario and under option to Benton Resources Inc. (see company news release dated May 20, 2020).

A diamond drilling rig has been mobilized to the project to begin the first phase drilling program, comprising a minimum of 2,000 metres and designed to test priority targets identified from the company's past exploration programs. Targets include the Far Lake No. 1 structure where a 0.7 m channel sample across massive sulphide assayed 22 per cent copper, 30.2 grams per tonne silver, and 0.25 g/t gold and other channel samples along the 200 m strike length returned up to 3.54 per cent Cu over three m, including 4.96 per cent Cu over one m. In addition, several other large, variably silicified and brecciated structures containing chalcopyrite mineralization and associated with coincident soil and/or rock geochemical anomalies within a 2.5 square kilometre area, will be tested.

White Metal Resources Corp. has closed a transaction with Noronex Ltd. with respect to its Kalahari copper belt projects in Namibia, specifically the DorWit copper-silver project, comprising exclusive prospecting licences EPL7028, 7029 and 7030. Noronex, an ASX-listed company involved in copper exploration in Canada and Namibia, recently raised $4.3-million (Australian) to fund further exploration work on its international copper projects (see Noronex news release Nov. 16, 2020).

Noronex has been assigned the rights to the original earn-in agreement made with RZJ Capital Management LLC (see company news release dated Oct. 15, 2019) under which White Metal previously received a $100,000 cash deposit. Under the terms of the earn-in, Noronex can earn up to 70 per cent of the project by meeting certain payment milestones and, following feasibility studies, has the right to acquire White Metal's remaining interest of 25 per cent that is held in the company's 95-per-cent-owned Namibian subsidiary, Aloe Investments Two Hundred and Thirty Seven PTY Ltd.

As part of the transaction, an additional payment of $500,000 has been made to White Metal via the issue of $250,000 in shares of Noronex (approximately 5.5 million common shares of Noronex) and the payment of $250,000 in cash. Noronex will also take over the financing obligations defined in the original earn-in agreement.............

White Metal Resources Corp. has provided an update on its continuing exploration program (see company news release dated Oct. 22, 2020) on the Taranis (Okohongo) copper-silver project, located in northwestern Namibia and defined by exclusive prospecting licence (EPL) No. 7071. The project includes the historical Okohongo copper-silver deposit.

Michael Stares, President & CEO of the Company, stated, "We are pleased to see progress being made on the 2020-2021 exploration program on the Taranis Property, despite the challenges of the worldwide pandemic. The primary target is the area of the Okohongo Copper-Silver Deposit, where a historical mineral resource estimate was reported in 2011. DRILLING UNDERWAY AT WHITE METAL'S TARANIS COPPER-SILVER PROJECT, NAMIBIA

White Metal Resources Corp. has begun its first reverse circulation drilling program at its 95-per-cent-owned Taranis copper-silver project, located in northwestern Namibia, and defined by exclusive prospecting licence (EPL) 7071. The project includes the historical mineral resources of the Okohongo copper-silver deposit.

Michael Stares, president and chief executive officer of the company, stated: "The aim of this drilling program is to generate an NI 43-101-compliant mineral resource estimate and technical report on the Okohongo. Given the recent rise in copper prices and positive outlook for the metal's future, we are committed to continuing to advance the project, which in addition to a copper-silver resource, shows excellent exploration potential. We are continuing to seek a partner for this project while we focus on the company's flagship property, the Tower Stock gold project, located in Northwestern Ontario."

The company received its environmental clearance certificate (ECC) for EPL 7071 in January, 2020 (see news release dated Jan. 7, 2020) and has recently completed the relogging of historical RC drill hole sample chips, and the resampling of historical diamond drill core, both stored in the government's warehouse. In addition to the RC drilling program (3,000 metres planned), a reconnaissance geological mapping and sampling program is planned over the property. The primary objective of the 2021 exploration program is to update the historical mineral resources in the Okohongo deposit and complete a mineral resource estimate and technical report compliant with National Instrument 43-101.

The Taranis property, covering about 19,850 hectares, includes the historical Okohongo Cu-Ag (copper-gold) deposit which has been outlined by historical drilling (see INV Metals news release dated Aug. 3, 2011), showing it extends over 600 metres in strike length, 400 metres down dip and is interpreted to be open in all directions. The Okohongo, situated within the Kaoko belt of northwest Namibia about 700 kilometres northwest of Windhoek, is hosted by metasedimentary stratigraphy and is considered to be analogous with the stratiform sediment-hosted Central African copper belt deposits of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

This deposit contains historical inferred mineral resources of 10.2 million tonnes grading 1.12 per cent Cu and 17.75 grams per tonne Ag, using a 0.3-per-cent Cu cut-off (see attached table; INV Metals NI 43-101 technical report, effective date March 31, 2011)..........

WHITE METAL'S PARTNER NORONEX COMMENCES AIRBORNE EM SURVEY ON THE DORWIT COPPER-SILVER PROJECT, NAMIBIA

White Metal Resources Corp.'s partner, Noronex Ltd., has commenced an airborne electromagnetic geophysical survey over the DorWit copper-silver project, located about 150 kilometres east of Windhoek, Namibia.

The EM survey is the first ever state-of-the-art airborne survey to be undertaken within the project area. The use of the significantly improved modern technology and geophysical interpretation is intended to generate new exploration targets to expand on the 150,000 metres of historical reverse circulation and diamond drilling that has already identified numerous sedimentary hosted Cu-Ag deposits.

Michael Stares, president and chief executive officer, commented: "We are very pleased to see our exploration partners have initiated the 2021 program and specifically this airborne survey over the Witvlei and Dordabis properties. The earn-in agreement we completed Noronex confirms our project generator model, which has been successful in finding a quality partner to advance the project while maintaining a 25-per-cent interest for the company."

The geophysical contractor NRG will commence flying the Witvlei property (EPL7028 and 7029) and then move to the Dordabis property (EPL7030). Noronex is also expecting to update the historical JORC 2012 mineral resource estimates, which are currently being completed by MSA Group, with initial results expected by February, 2021.

White Metal completed the earn-in agreement with a subsidiary of Noronex which novated the rights under the original earn-in deal with RZJ Capital Management LLC, under which White Metal previously received a $100,000 cash deposit. Under the agreement, Noronex can earn up to 70 per cent of the project by meeting certain payment milestones and following feasibility studies, and has the right to acquire White Metal's remaining interest of 25 per cent (see company news release dated Oct. 16, 2019).

The transaction has resulted in the additional payment of $500,000 to White Metal via the issue of $250,000 in shares in Noronex (represented by 5.5 million Noronex shares) and the payment of $250,000 in cash. White Metal Resources Corp. has received the required drilling permits and will commence the first round of diamond drilling on the Tower Stock gold property (TSGP). White Metal recently optioned the Tower Stock gold property, which is located approximately 40 kilometres west-northwest of the port city of Thunder Bay, Ont., and consists of 52 claims (73 units) and three freehold land grants or patented claims covering an area of 1,442 hectares (see company news release dated June 20, 2020).

Commented Michael Stares, president and chief executive officer of White Metal: "Now that the company has completed its first phase of exploration that included compilation of all historical work, prospecting and sampling, and targeting, I am very confident that our first round of drilling will prove successful. Mineralization discovered to date on the Tower Stock gold property is classified as syenite-associated disseminated gold deposit-type similar to that of the Kirkland Lake or Malartic gold camps.

More specifically, mineralization and alteration styles on the property are similar to those found at Alamos Gold's Young-Davidson mine, which is currently one of Canada's largest underground gold mines, forecast to produce between 135,000 to 145,000 ounces of gold for 2020 (reported by Alamos Gold).

WHITE METAL COMPLETES DRILLING PROGRAM AT THE TARANIS COPPER-SILVER PROJECT, NAMIBIA

White Metal Resources Corp. has completed its first drilling program on its 95-per-cent-owned Taranis copper-silver project, located in northwestern Namibia and defined by exclusive prospecting licence (EPL) 7071. The reverse circulation ("RC") drilling program, which began January 19, 2021 (see Company news release January 14, 2021), consisted of 28 drill holes totalling 3,226 metres. The drilling program focused in the area that covers the historical mineral resources contained within the Okohongo Copper-Silver Deposit (the "Okohongo").

Michael Stares, President & CEO of the Company, stated, "The four week RC drilling program in Namibia was a success and will provide us with the necessary data and information to complete an NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate on the Okohongo copper-silver deposit.

We look forward to receiving assay results by mid-March and announcing a resource estimate by April."

A total of 727 samples were submitted to Actlabs in Windhoek, Namibia for preparation and will be analyzed at Actlabs in Canada. Of the total samples, 619 are RC chip samples and 108 are blank, standard and duplicate samples submitted as part of the quality assurance/quality control program.

The Taranis Property (aka Okohongo Property), covering about 19 850 ha, includes the historical Okohongo Cu-Ag Deposit which has been outlined by historical drilling (see INV Metals news release dated August 3, 2011), showing it extends over 600 metres in strike length, 400 metres down-dip, and is interpreted to be open in all directions. The Okohongo, situated within the Kaoko Belt of northwest Namibia about 700 km northwest of Windhoek, is hosted by metasedimentary stratigraphy and is considered to be analogous with the stratiform sediment-hosted Central African Copperbelt deposits of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This deposit contains historical Inferred Mineral Resources of 10.2 million tonnes grading 1.12% Cu and 17.75 g/t Ag, using a 0.3% Cu cut-off (Table 1; INV Metals Inc. NI 43-101 Technical Report, Effective Date March 31, 2011).............

WHITE METAL PLANS 3,000 METRE DRILL PROGRAM ON TOWER STOCK GOLD PROJECT, ONTARIO AND GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

White Metal Resources Corp. has signed a contract with Forage BRL Drilling, which is based out of Temagami, Ont. The diamond drilling program is expected to start the first week of July and last approximately four weeks, with a total of 3,000 metres planned.

Michael Stares, President and CEO of White Metal, commented, "I am very pleased to have signed the new drill contract with BRL and look forward to commencing our second phase of drilling on the Tower Stock Gold Project. Drilling will initially focus on the Ellen Zone to determine the possibility of expanding the zone north and south.

The orientation of the Ellen Zone is not yet determined and this new round of drilling is designed to increase our understanding of this exciting new gold bearing zone. I am equally as pleased to announce follow up drilling on the Bench Zone. Some areas of the Bench Zone have separations in drilling of up to 75 to 100 metres and as a result a considerable amount of detailed drilling is required."

The drilling program will be part of the follow up program to further test and extend the newly discovered Ellen Zone, as reported from drill hole TM-21-94, which returned 1.7 g/t Au over 82.5 metres, including 3 g/t Au over 45 metres, and including 1.5 metres of 58 g/t Au and 198 g/t Ag (see news release dated April 20, 2021).

The newly discovered Ellen Zone, located about 340 metres south of the U-V Zone and about 300 metres north of the Bench Zone, is an area that has seen no historical drilling and is open in all directions. The drilling campaign will be focused on several KEY areas:Tracing the Ellen Zone to the northwest and to the southeast; Extending the Bench Zone both northwest and southeast;Step out holes to follow up on drill hole TM-21-97, which intersected anomalous gold mineralization over nearly its entire 347.71 m length (47% of 229 samples >100 ppb Au, to maximum 2.16 g/t Au) and supported the interpretation that the Bench Zone dips 50 to 60 degrees southwest;Confirming the Company's interpretation that the Bench Zone is open in all directions; andTesting the extension of the D Zone, TM-21-95 which returned 0.63 g/t Au over 63.5 metres. This wide intercept of elevated gold mineralization is located 300 metres southeast of TM-21-95 and is thought to be connected to the Bench Zone to the north.

WHITE METAL SAMPLES 35.2% CU AND 548 G/T AG IN ROCK GRAB SAMPLES FROM THE PROSPECTIVE OKANGURA AREA SOUTHWEST OF THE OKOHONGO COPPER-SILVER DEPOSIT, NAMIBIA

White Metal Resources Corp. has provided an update regarding its exploration program north and south along strike from the Okohongo copper-silver deposit (see company news release dated June 29, 2021).

The Company is continuing its prospecting, geological mapping, grab sampling, and surface trenching and sampling programs along the prospective +7 km sedimentary-hosted copper horizon, which extends northward from the Okohongo Cu-Ag Deposit (the "Okohongo Area"), and an examination of previously identified showings and occurrences up to 14 km south of the Okohongo Cu-Ag Deposit. The target prospective horizon, colloquially known as the "Okohongo Horizon", occurs within the Lower Omao Formation (limestone, siltstone, dolomite), which is stratigraphically above the Nosib Group (sandstone, shale, conglomerate).

Michael Stares, President & CEO of White Metal, stated, "These results continue to impress, delivering very high copper and silver concentrations north and south of the Okohongo Cu-Ag Deposit. Clearly, there is significant opportunity to expand the current deposit along strike, which at this stage of exploration shows potential along a prospective horizon of more than 20 kilometres.

WHITE METAL EXPANDS THE ELLEN ZONE WITH STEP-OUT DRILLING RETURNING 3.68 G/T AU OVER 10.5 M, INCLUDING 19.9 G/T OVER 1.5 M, TOWER STOCK GOLD PROJECT, ONTARIO

White Metal Resources Corp. has received the assay results from the first three diamond drill holes from the phase 2 drilling program on its flagship Tower Stock gold project. The three holes were designed to test both the strike and downdip extension of gold mineralization at the Ellen zone, a new discovery made in the phase 1 diamond drilling program that intersected 1.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) over 82.5 metres (m) (from 10 m), including three g/t Au over 45 m (from 10 m) in drill hole TM-21-94 (see White Metal news release dated April 20, 2021).

A summary of results from the higher-grade gold intersections for the first three holes from phase 2 is provided in the attached table. Hole TM-21-100, drilled 25 m northwest of TM-21-94, confirmed the northwest strike extension of the Ellen zone, returning anomalous to high-grade gold between 23 m and 113 m that range from 77 parts per billion (ppb) to 19,900 ppb Au (60 samples). The weighted average of this 90-metre interval is 1.23 g/t Au, including 3.68 g/t Au over 10.5 m (from 23 m).

WHITE METAL PARTNER NORONEX COMMENCES 10,000 METRE DRILLING PROGRAM AT THE DORWIT COPPER-SILVER PROJECT, NAMIBIA

White Metal Resources Corp. has provided an update from its Australian joint venture partner Noronex Ltd. Noronex has informed White Metal that it has commenced a 10,000 metre drilling program at the DorWit Copper-Silver Project (the "Property" or "Project") in Namibia (see Noronex news release dated 17 August 2021). The Namibian Project comprises three Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPLs) that cover 78,000 hectares, referred to as the Witvlei (EPL 7028 and EPL 7029) and Dordabis (EPL 7030) properties. The Project is prospective for sedimentary-hosted Cu-Ag mineralization within the prolific Kalahari Copper Belt that spans Namibia and Botswana. The focus of the current exploration efforts will be on the Witvlei project that comprises EPL 7028 and 7029 (Figure 1).

Highlights of the Drilling Program:

Drilling has commenced in Namibia at Witvlei Project at the Otjiwaru Prospect (Figure 2).
Program of drilling will test five high-priority targets with 10,000 m of Reverse Circulation (RC) holes planned.
Geophysical crew has completed the Dipole-Dipole IP survey at Gemboksvlei and is currently underway at Okasewa.
Known mineralization is confirmed to have a strong chargeability IP anomaly and a number of new chargeable zones are defined associated with anomalous copper geochemistry.
Drilling is expected to continue for three-to-four months across the five high-priority targets that have been identified:
sub-cropping copper at Dalheim with two-kilometre strike extent.
chargeability IP anomalies at Gemboksvlei on a one-kilometre-long copper soil zone.
outcropping copper at Otjiwaru over an 800-m-wide zone.
a 2.5 km by 1.2 km copper-in-soil anomaly in an altered structural zone south of Okasewa.
unexplained copper soil anomalies at Christiadore Prospect.

WHITE METAL RECEIVES EXPLORATION LICENCE RENEWAL ON ITS OKOHONGO COPPER-SILVER PROJECT, NAMIBIA

White Metal Resources Corp. has received a two-year renewal for its exclusive prospecting licence (EPL) 7071, setting the new expiry date to June 12, 2023.
The 95-per-cent-owned EPL7071, referred to as the Taranis (Okohongo) copper-silver project, covers about 13,825 hectares and is located in the Kaoko copperbelt, northwestern Namibia. The property size was reduced from its original size of 19,805 hectares as part of the requirements for EPL renewal.

Michael Stares, president and chief executive officer of White Metal, stated: "We are very pleased to have received the renewal for our Okohongo EPL7071. Namibia has proven to be a very good country to work in and we will continue to advance the Okohongo copper-silver project and at the same time pursue a partner to work with us in moving the project forward. White Metal Resources Corp. has received assay results from the A Zone trenching program at the Tower Mountain Gold Project (the "Project" or "Property"). The Company mapped and channel sampled the A Zone to gain a better understanding of the controls on high-grade gold mineralization which proved very effective in tracing this zone at surface. The Company is very encouraged with the results of the channel sample assays which correlate well with similar results reported from drill hole TM-21-108 that assayed 3.94 g/t Au over 23.8 m (from near surface) (Table 1; see also WHM news release dated October 21, 2021). White Metal has commenced a Phase 3 drilling program with 4,300 metres planned to test the many gold zones on the Property of which approximately 1,000 metres will target the A Zone.

White Metal Resources Corp. has received core assay results from the first three diamond drill holes from its phase 3 drilling program at its flagship Tower Mountain gold project. These first three holes were designed to test the strike extent of the A zone with all three holes intersecting broad intervals of gold mineralization.

TM-21-117: 30.0 metres grading 1.30 grams per tonne (g/t) Au (from 5.0 m).
TM-21-118: 49.5 m grading 1.01 g/t Au (from 8.0 m), including 24.0 m grading 1.8 g/t Au.
TM-21-119: 21.5 m grading 4.05 g/t Au (from 6.5 m).
