Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 59.946.777 von iwanowski am 23.02.19 13:32:23"...Copper jumped out of the gate this year and is holding onto a 14% gain from its January dip to around $2.50 per pound ($5,500 tonne), but analysts see little action from today’s levels. The widely used metal in industry, manufacturing, construction and transportation has been hurt by worries over China's economic growth and the impact of the country’s trade war with the US.
Beijing’s stimulus program should encourage use and the country’s copper concentrate imports are running at record levels. Smelter expansions have increased demand and competition for copper ore in China, with spot treatment and refining charges (TC/RCs) — paid to smelters to process copper concentrate into refined metal — falling to levels last seen in 2015. Combined with sluggish new supply growth and strong demand, it paints a rosy picture for copper longer term and a handful of banks, including SocGen, BMO Capital Markets and Citigroup see the commodity rising above $7,000 a tonne in 2020..."

Capstone Intersects 20.1 Meters Grading 5.53% Copper, Including 6.4 Meters of 11.32% Copper at Cozamin Mine
Capstone Mining Corp. ("Capstone") (TSX: CS) announces high grade copper and silver results from 103 infill and step-out drill holes at its Cozamin Mine, as well as an expansion to the exploration program into 2020. The results represent half of the 200 hole program, which aims to more than double the current reserve base. Results to date support the Company's recently disclosed increase to Cozamin's annual production guidance to 50 to 55 million pounds of copper and 1.4 to 1.5 million ounces of silver starting in early 2021. Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves estimates will be updated in late 2020.
"Highlight holes in Figure 1 and Table 1, are comprised of both infill and step-outs. They have shown excellent grade and thickness, including a test into the middle of the recently acquired Portree claimblock (U499)," said Brad Mercer, Capstone's Senior Vice President of Operations and Exploration. "We now see a much larger target and we intend to infill drill the expanded area before re-estimating mineral reserves. On average, the vein is approximately 60% wider up dip from the current reserve, while the copper and silver grades are higher as well. Additionally, having access to the Portree claimblock will give us a platform to extend mineralization to the west."

Capstone Q3 2019 Results, Near-Term Organic Growth
Capstone Mining Corp. ("Capstone" or the "Company") (TSX:CS) announced its production and financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2019 ("Q3 2019"). Total copper production from continuing operations for Q3 2019 totaled 39 million pounds of copper at consolidated C1 cash costs1 of $1.85 per pound. For full financial and operational results, refer to Capstone's Q3 2019 Management's Discussion and Analysis and Unaudited Condensed Interim Consolidated Financial Statements ("MD&A and Financial Statements").Q3 2019 HIGHLIGHTS AND SIGNIFICANT ITEMS
Q3 2019 copper production of 39 million pounds and C1 cash costs1 of $1.85 per payable pound produced. Copper sales were lower at 31 million pounds due to timing of the last shipment of the quarter at Pinto Valley.
Cozamin expansion project remains on track for the end of 2020 with the objective to debottleneck the mine with a one-way ramp system. The project is now expected to increase production to between 50 to 55 million pounds of copper and 1.4 to 1.5 million ounces of silver.
The Company achieved cost reductions of $25 million on its target of $25 million to $30 million in annualized savings.
The Company has now removed $25 million of annualized costs out of the business with the $12.5 million in savings at Pinto Valley plus $3.5 million on new revolver terms and improved cash management, $4 million from corporate administration and $5 million from the disposition of Minto.
Pinto Valley delivered an additional $2.5 million in sustainable annualized cost savings in Q3 2019, bringing the year-to-date total to $12.5 million. Pinto Valley is targeting to achieve a total of $15 to $20 million in annualized cost savings.
Q3 2019 net loss of $(10.7) million (Q3 2018 - net income of $1.3 million), which was impacted by lower realized copper prices and negative provisional pricing adjustments in the quarter of $3.4 million, as well as lower sales volumes due to the timing of shipments for Pinto Valley concentrate and resulting build-up of concentrate inventory. This resulted in a loss per share of $(0.03) for the quarter (Q3 2018 - $0.00).
Q3 2019 adjusted net loss of $(8.7) million (Q3 2018 – adjusted net income of $1.0 million) and adjusted loss per share of $(0.02), (Q3 2018 – $0.00). Adjustments for 2019 relate to inventory write-down and change in fair value on the Minto contingent receivable.
2019 production and C1 cash costs1 guidance. Capstone expects to achieve consolidated production guidance of 145-160 million pounds and consolidated C1 cash costs1 guidance of $1.80-$2.00 per payable pound produced.

Sehr gute Entwicklung
