Jetzt fehlt nur noch der erste Flug der Rakete.
Jetzt kann es losgehen: Virgin Orbit hat das Startmanöver des Launcher One von dem Trägerflugzeug Cosmic Girl simuliert. Bis auf den eigentlichen Start der Rakete wurde der gesamte Vorgang geprobt. Der erste Start des Launcher One könnte noch in diesem Jahr stattfinden.

On Monday, Reuters reported that Virgin Galactic, the space tourism company owned by billionaire Richard Branson, will continue run its operations under the critical infrastructure business category, despite several of U.S. states in which it operates have mandated business closures during the coronavirus outbreak.
"We are an aerospace manufacturer with defense and government contracts and therefore categorized as a Critical Infrastructure business," a company spokeswoman told Reuters.

Da bin ich ganz eurer Meinung
Ohne Corona wären wir jetzt sicher bei mindestens 70 $.
Die Marktkapitalisierung ist extrem niedrig für das was an Vorhaben ansteht. Sollte es jedoch technische Probleme geben damm war es das ganz schnell.
Sollte sich alles gut weiter entwickeln dann ist alles möglich und 3-stellige Kurse durchaus denkbar, wenn nicht sogar 4-stellig wenn der Orbit verlassen wird.

Investiere bis 20 euro immer mal wieder
Denn, dass es hier mittelfristig ein bullenszenario mit mindestens 60 euro gibt, ist wahrscheinlich. Langfristig sind 3 stellige Kurse dann wahrscheinlich wenn es keine größeren technischen Probleme gibt. Der Markt ist da und kann bespielt werden.
Bin dabei mit 15 $. Allen viel Erfolg

Richard Branson moved assets from the U.S. to the British Virgin Islands, highlighting his use of tax havens at a time one of his businesses sought a state bailout because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Filings show a Delaware-based company for his $1.1 billion stake in Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc. transferred shares in the space-travel firm on March 16 to the Caribbean territory where Branson, 69, lives. Residents in the BVI pay no income or capital-gains taxes while the U.S. state is known for preserving the privacy of its corporate owners.
Virgin Galactic became the first publicly traded space-tourism firm last year after merging with a listed investment vehicle, and the Delaware holding company was set up for that transaction.
The move is unrelated to Branson’s request for British backing for Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd., and many of his businesses do pay U.K. tax. He’s also pledged $250 million to support his group’s operations since transferring his shares in Virgin Galactic.
“This is as an internal reorganization that has no effect on our ownership interest,” a representative for Branson said. “Rather than continuing to hold the shares indirectly, we undertook this exercise to eliminate indirect ownership through that subsidiary, as the U.S. entity was no longer necessary.”

Zum Thema "Einstellen des Projekts" wegen Corona: Das "Projekt" hat die Finanzkrise überstanden (VG besteht seit 2004) und ist auf einen return on invest auf mehrere Jahrzehnte ausgelegt. Insofern liegen solcherlei Rückschläge (wenn es überhaupt einer ist, s.o.) in der Natur der Sache.

Business case beachten!
Die Arbeitslosigkeit in den USA ist für den Business case von VG ziemlich egal. Solange es eine extrem reiche Gesellschaftsschicht gibt, ist die Nachfrage gesichert. Und daran wird sich in den USA auch durch Corona nichts ändern. Zum Thema "Einstellen des Projekts" wegen Corona: Das "Projekt" hat die Finanzkrise überstanden (VG besteht seit 2004) und ist auf einen return on invest auf mehrere Jahrzehnte ausgelegt. Insofern liegen solcherlei Rückschläge (wenn es überhaupt einer ist, s.o.) in der Natur der Sache.
