Globex Commissions Mineral Resource Report

ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC, Nov 28, 2005 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) --
GLOBEX MINING ENTERPRISES INC. (TSX:GMX)(PINK SHEET:GLBXF)(FRANKFURT:G1M) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Micon International Limited to prepare a NI 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate and Technical Report on Globex`s 100% owned Fabie Bay and Magusi River copper-zinc-silver-gold massive sulphide deposits in Hebecourt Township, Quebec, approximately 50 km northwest of the town of Rouyn-Noranda and the Horne copper smelter.
Micon is an international independent firm of consulting geologists, mining engineers and metallurgists with offices in Toronto, Canada and Norwich, United Kingdom. Micon`s technical reports are accepted by Canadian Stock Exchanges, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and the London and Australian Stock Exchanges.
Micon has completed a site visit and is commencing work on the technical data, much of which was originally generated by Noranda Inc. It is expected that the final NI 43-101 compliant report will be available some time in January.
The Fabie Bay and Magusi River massive sulphide deposits have been extensively drilled and the Fabie Bay deposit was developed to the point of production with 103,524 tons of ore grading 2.64% copper being mined by open pit. A production ramp was driven to the bottom of the ore body and three levels were prepared for mining. Much of the required surface installations (foundations, settling pond, road, etc.) are already in place.
Globex is presently seeking to locate a contract mill facility to treat eventual production from the property.
Globex will try to rapidly advance this project to production to take advantage of hopefully sustainable record high prices for copper, zinc, silver and gold.
