With the recent improvement in the Uranium price, from US$ 8.00 in 2003 to currently more than US$ 55.00 per pound, Laramide has acquired an impressive list of known Uranium assets with drilled out resources. Currently Laramide has approximately 60 million pounds of U3O8. It also has some very exciting exploration projects, located both within the USA and Australia with potential to double these known resources.

      Sicher sehr interessant.

Bei einem Uranpreis von 100 $ pro lb
wären das rund 6 Milliarden Dollar im Boden.

      Laramide Acquires US Uranium Royalties

Thursday December 28, 9:00 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 28, 2006) - Laramide Resources Ltd. (TSX:LAM - News) is pleased to announce that it has acquired a portfolio of uranium royalties in the Grant's Mineral District of New Mexico, USA from United Nuclear Corporation, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of General Electric Company (GE) since 1997. The royalty portfolio covers three separate parcels of mineral leases (Section 8, Section 17, and Mancos) in the Churchrock area of McKinley County which is located 20 miles northeast of Gallup, New Mexico. The properties are presently owned by a subsidiary of Uranium Resources Inc ("URI"), a US publicly traded uranium producer, who acquired them from United Nuclear in a series of transaction between 1986 and 1991. URI is presently engaged in the late stages of a feasibility study on the Section 8 lease and has stated publicly that it expects to complete the study prior to the end of 2006; environmental permitting efforts at Section 8 are also well advanced.

The royalty interests being acquired are sliding scale gross revenue royalties with minimum levels of 5% and maximum levels of 24% depending on the spot price of U3O8. Stated reserves on the property are not compliant with Canadian 43-101 reporting standards but historic resources being utilized as the basis for the feasibility study are 18.6 million pounds on all of the parcels with 6.5 million of that on Section 8 which is anticipated to be developed using the in-situ-leach (ISL) production method.

Terms of the acquisition call for Laramide to pay United Nuclear US $9.25 million in cash, structured as follows :

      - US$3.5 million at closing (paid);

      - US $3 million on issuance of the final regulatory permit required to allow production to commence on Section 8;

      - US $1.25 million on issuance of the final regulatory permit required to allow production to commence on Section 17; and

      - US $1.5 million on issuance of the final regulatory permit required to allow production to commence on Mancos (also known as Sections 7,12, and 13)

Stated Laramide President Marc C. Henderson "We are please to acquire additional uranium interests in the Grant's area as we believe it is likely to once again become an important source of secure, domestic production to fuel the US reactor fleet. New Mexico has historically been the biggest source of US uranium production (350 million pounds produced between 1959 and 1981) and is currently undergoing a dramatic revival of exploration and development activity spurred by a rise in uranium prices which shows no signs of abating."

Laramide is currently active in Grant's where it is in the midst of a ten hole drilling program on its La Jara Mesa. Five of the ten holes were completed prior to the scheduled Christmas Break with initial results expected to be available sometime in January.

Laramide Intercepts 13 Feet of 0.719% U3O8 in La Jara Mesa Drilling; Appoints Paul Wilkens as New Independent Director

Wednesday March 21, 12:05 pm ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 21, 2007) - Laramide Resources Ltd.(TSX:LAM - News) is please to announce results from its recently completed drill program at the La Jara Mesa Uranium Property located in the Grant's District of New Mexico. This program has returned encouraging results; of particular note are the findings from holes LR-12-5C: 13.0 feet of 0.719% U3O8 and LR-12-8C: 14.4 feet of 0.513% U3O8. Details of all drill results are included in the table below.
On February 18, 2007, Laramide concluded a nine hole core drill program on the La Jara Mesa uranium resource property, Cibola County, New Mexico, that had been acquired from Homestake Mining Company in November 2005. Assaying was completed by Energy Laboratories, Casper, Wyoming; and field supervision by Mr. N.M. Naiknimbalkar, Licensed Geological Engineer #540, Washington State, USA. The nine hole program totalled 6,393 feet drilled.

Drilling was undertaken to confirm earlier drill programs conducted in the 1980's when the La Jara Mesa discovery was made. At that time, five uranium resource areas were delineated, with the largest to date being the Dena deposit located in Sections 11 and 12, T12N, R9W, N.M.P.M.

Confirmation drilling was limited to the Dena deposit. Prior to the recent drill program, 376 holes, including 18 core holes, had been drilled in and around the resource area. The deposit is elongated north-south at approximately 2,500 feet long and 1,500 feet wide and is confined primarily to the lower two sands of the Poison Canyon member of the Morison formations of Jurassic Age.

The deposit dips to the south southeast with the base of the Poison Canyon sand lying at a depth of 627 feet below the surface at the north end of the resource area and at 690 feet at the south end. In all holes, core was taken from the Poison Canyon member to obtain material for assay and metallurgical testing. Four holes were extended through the underlying Westwater Canyon member of the Morrison formation. Core was recovered from the Westwater Canyon sand in three of the extended holes to review sand alteration and its potential for mineral development, as well as, obtaining core samples for mine planning and development studies.

Drill hole locations were not intended to twin previously drilled holes but were placed to confirm the general trend of previously identified resource zones. A map of the location of the current drill holes can be viewed on Laramide's web site.

Chemical analyses for uranium from core of the first seven holes of the nine holes drilled have been received. The remaining two holes are in process at Energy Laboratories. Utilizing a 0.05%U3O8 cutoff, the chemical assays are summaries as follows:

All holes were drilled vertically. Laramide Resources Ltd. previously completed an independent National Instrument 43-101 technical report that addresses uranium mineral resources for its La Jara Mesa uranium property located in the Grant's mineral district of New Mexico, USA. (see Company release dated October 6, 2006). The mineral resource report estimates measured and indicated mineral resources totalling 7,257,817 pounds of uranium (U3O8) that are contained in 1,555,899 tons at an average grade of 0.23 per cent U3O8, and an additional 3,172,653 pounds of uranium (U3O8) contained in 793,161 tons at an average grade of 0.20 per cent U3O8 as inferred mineral resources on the property.

Peter Mullens VP-Exploration stated "We are pleased with the results from La Jara Mesa which have confirmed the high grade nature of the project. Currently Laramide is investigating options on how the project may be permitted and advanced to a production decision, including discussions with other parties to explore the possibility of a new, regional mill facility in the Grant's District. We believe the potential of New Mexico may be underappreciated by the market given that from 1959 through 1981 conventional production in New Mexico ranged from 9 to 19 million pounds of uranium per year, averaging nearly 13 million pounds per year. Moreover, in a June 2004 report, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated that as of December 31, 2003, uranium reserves in New Mexico were estimated to be 341 million pounds U3O8 assuming forward costs of up to $50 per pound of U3O8. Clearly, given these historic production rates and EIA's estimate of available uranium resources, Laramide believes there is scope for a major revival of this important uranium producing district."

In an unrelated exploration development, Laramide is pleased to report that it will commence drilling imminently on its Sioux Uranium Project which is a greenfield exploration joint venture targeting a new roll-front style uranium deposit in the western United States. The program will consist of the initial 50 hole program outlined in the Company's news release of August 21, 2006 and this program will be expanded if results warrant. It was originally hoped to commence this drilling in Q4/06 but a combination of permitting delays and weather resulted in a decision to wait until this Spring so that the program could be logically carried out in its entirety without interruption.

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Paul Wilkens to the Board of Directors. Mr. Wilkens holds an MBA from the University of Rochester and a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering. Paul brings to the Company over 30 years experience with Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation (RG&E) where he served as President as well as in several other senior positions during his tenure. While with RG&E Paul provided direction and leadership to the company's electric generation including the RE Ginna and Nine Mile 2 nuclear power plants. While under his leadership, Ginna received commendations from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for its engineering organization and from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations for top performance.

Bay Street experienced a pullback Tuesday, as investors looked to cash in on recent share gains following Monday's 65-point advance. The day's decline was broad based, with nine of the ten market subgroups in the red come the toll of the day's closing bell. Laramide to Acquire Thunder Lake Properties From Corona Gold/ Teck Cominco. Plans Spin Off of Non-Uranium Assets

Tuesday April 3, 12:34 pm ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 3, 2007) - Laramide Resources Ltd. (TSX:LAM - News) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a letter of intent with Corona Gold Corporation and Teck Cominco Limited to purchase a 100% interest in the Thunder Lake West, Thunder Lake East, and certain adjacent properties in and around Dryden, Ontario (collectively the "Thunder Lake Properties"). The Thunder Lake Properties are contiguous to Laramide's Goliath property in Zealand Township, Ontario. Thunder Lake West was actively explored by the Corona-Teck Cominco joint venture from 1993 until 1998 and work completed during this time included an underground decline ramp and over 250 diamond drill holes. In its 2006 Annual Report, Corona reported a non 43-101 compliant inferred resource of approximately 630,000 ounces of gold at Thunder Lake (3 million tons @ 6.5 g/t Au). The distribution paid to Corona and Teck will be in proportion to their respective interests in the Thunder Lake Properties.

The letter of intent calls for Laramide to purchase Corona and Teck Cominco's interest in the Thunder Lake Properties by making staged cash payments of $18,411,687 and issuing Corona and Teck Cominco a 12.77% equity stake in a new gold focused company that will have the combined Thunder Lake Properties as its flagship asset ("NewGoldCo"). All of Laramide's other non-uranium assets will also be transferred to NewGoldCo which will become a separately listed public entity; these assets include the Lara polymetallic property in British Columbia, the NSR royalty on the producing Cerro Colorado gold mine in Mexico, and various shares in public and private entities held by Laramide including one million shares of Aquiline Resources Inc. (AQI-TSX). A minimum of $2 million in cash will also be transferred to NewGoldCo.

Laramide intends to file a prospectus with the provincial securities commissions in order to qualify the distribution of the NewGoldCo shares to Laramide's shareholders under Canadian securities laws. The prospectus will provide a full description of the company, including its Board of Directors, management, properties and proposed exploration program. Laramide proposes to distribute a portion of the shares of the new company to its shareholders by way of a dividend.

All of the foregoing is subject to Laramide's completion of a maximum 30 day due diligence review of the Thunder Lake Properties, at which time it must elect if it wishes to conclude the acquisition (the "closing date"). In the event that Laramide elects to complete the purchase of the Thunder Lake Properties, the cash consideration portion of the acquisition is subject to the following purchase schedule:

      (i) $6,137,229 on the closing date;

(ii) $6,137,229 on the 60th day following the closing date; and

(iii) $6,137,229 on the 120th day following the closing date.

It is contemplated that NewGoldCo will finance the final cash payment to Corona and Teck and these funds will be raised in the new entity after the going public process is completed. Laramide intends to issue a press release announcing the dividend record date along with other details of the proposed new public company concurrent with a release announcing its decision with respect to proceeding with the acquisition.

The reorganization and spin-off of Laramide's non-uranium assets is designed to improve the identification and valuation of specific Laramide properties, to enhance Laramide's ability to divest specific properties through simpler corporate ownership, to enter into strategic joint venture agreements, and to enable Laramide to separately finance and develop its various assets, selectively reducing stock dilution.

Laramide is a Toronto-based resource company specializing in the acquisition and development of advanced stage mineral properties. Laramide has a diverse portfolio of assets, all of which are leveraged to commodity fundamentals. The Company's lead project is the Westmoreland Project, Queensland, Australia. Laramide's common shares are listed on the TSX under the symbol "LAM".

Laramide Resources Ltd. Adopts Shareholder Rights Plan

Monday April 30, 1:06 pm ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 30, 2007) - Laramide Resources Ltd. (TSX:LAM - News) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the adoption of a shareholder rights plan (the "Rights Plan") designed to encourage the fair and equal treatment of shareholders in connection with any take-over bid for the outstanding securities of the Company.

The Rights Plan is intended to provide the Board of Directors with adequate time to assess a take-over bid, to consider alternatives to a take-over bid as a means of maximizing shareholder value, to allow competing bids to emerge, and to provide Laramide's shareholders with adequate time to properly assess a take-over bid without undue pressure. The Rights Plan is similar to plans adopted by other Canadian companies and ratified by their shareholders. Laramide's Board of Directors is not currently aware of any pending or threatened take-over bid for the Company at present but believes the Company's shares are undervalued and does not reflect its development prospects in Australia especially taking into consideration the recent decision by the Australian Labour Party to repudiate its "No New Mines" policy.

Under the terms of the Rights Plan, one right (a "Right") will be issued by Laramide in respect of each outstanding Laramide common share at the close of business today and in respect of each Laramide common share issued thereafter (subject to the terms of the Rights Plan). The Rights issued under the Rights Plan become exercisable only if a person acquires or announces its intention to acquire 20% or more of the common shares of the Company without complying with the "permitted bid" provisions of the Rights Plan or without the approval of Laramide's Board of Directors.

Should such an acquisition occur, Rights holders (other than the acquiring person or related persons) can purchase common shares of the Company at a substantial discount to the prevailing market place (as defined in the Rights Plan) at the time the Rights become exercisable.

"Permitted bids" under the Rights Plan must be made to all holders of Laramide's common shares and must be open for acceptance for a minimum of 60 days. If at the end of 60 days at least 50% of the outstanding common shares other than those owned by the offeror and certain related parties have been tendered and not withdrawn, the bidder may take-up and pay for the shares but must extend the bid for a further 10 days to allow other shareholders to tender to the bid.

Although effective immediately, the Rights Plan is subject to ratification by Laramide's shareholders at Laramide's next annual meeting of shareholders and, if ratified, the Rights Plan must be confirmed at every third annual meeting thereafter. If not ratified within six months from today, the Rights Plan and all of the Rights outstanding at the time will terminate.

A copy of the Rights Plan is available for viewing on SEDAR at www.sedar.com, and can also be obtained from Laramide upon a written request.

      LARAMIDE RESOURCES LTD (Toronto:LAM.TO)

      Last Trade: 12.69
      Trade Time: 4:15PM ET
      Change: 1.74 (15.89%)
      Prev Close: 10.95
      Open: 10.87
      Bid: 12.52
      Ask: 12.70
      1y Target Est: 18.55
      Day's Range: 10.64 - 12.89
      52wk Range: N/A
      Volume: 1,204,250

      Grund:

EMC in Verkaufsverhandlungen und daher ein Riesen-Sprung bei allen Uran-Near-Term-Producern heute, die viele aus der Lethargie gerissen haben wird:
