(TSXV: CBR) ("Cabral" or the "Company") is pleased to provide results from an additional four diamond drill holes from the Phase II drilling program at the Cuiú Cuiú Project, which was designed to test the continuity of high-grade zones within the MG (Moreira Gomes) deposit.
Highlights
Drill hole 202-19 was designed to test the continuity of high-grade mineralization at the MG deposit and returned 14.2m @ 6.7 g/t gold from 109.4m depth including 5.6m @ 13.0 g/t gold from 109.4m and 0.9m @ 22.4 g/t gold from 121.3m depth
Drill hole 202-19 was drilled 50m west of hole 199-19 which recently returned 16.9m @ 9.6 g/t gold including 7.6m @ 18.5 g/t gold and also tested the up-dip continuity of mineralization previously intersected in hole 50-09 which had returned 35m @ 2.0 g/t gold including 0.5m @ 13.5 g/t and 1.1m @ 6.6g//t gold
Drill hole 201-19 intersected 7.8m @ 4.7 g/t gold including 0.6m @ 48.5 g/t gold. It was designed to test the up-dip continuity of high-grade mineralization encountered in the eastern-most high-grade target within the MG deposit, above historic hole 79-10, which returned 16.8m @ 5.0 g/t gold including 1.0m @ 56.0 g/t gold and 1m @ 11.6 g/t gold
These Phase II drill results confirm that the high-grade gold mineralization is continuous down-dip and along strike in at least two of three high-grade zones tested in the recent Phase II program at MG
Alan Carter, President & CEO stated:"These recent drill results from the MG deposit confirm our hypothesis that extensive low-grade mineralization at Cuiú Cuiú surrounds high-grade gold mineralization which is continuous down-dip and along strike in several areas. This represents a step change in our understanding regarding the distribution of gold mineralization and may explain why Cuiú Cuiú produced so much placer gold during the Tapajos gold rush from 1978 to 1995."
Background
Gold mineralization at Cuiú Cuiú occurs within broad deformed and altered mineralized corridors within granitic rocks. Within these broad zones, distinctive, narrower higher-grade structural zones occur. Historic drill programs completed between 2008 and 2012 were designed to identify bulk-tonnage resources amenable to large-scale open-pit exploitation. As a result, very little attention was directed towards following up the many higher-grade intervals encountered in those programs (of the 180 historic holes completed from 2008 - 2012, a total of 60 intercepts returned values of +10 g/t gold (see press release dated April 29, 2019).
At MG, historic drilling was widely spaced with most of the sections having only one drill hole. However, high-grade mineralization was encountered in drill holes on these sections from surface to vertical depths of 322m below surface. With the very wide spacing of intercepts, high-grade domains could not be correlated with confidence. As a result, the most recent resource estimate for Cuiú Cuiú was adversely impacted by top-end cutting (see press release dated June 7, 2018). The Phase II program was designed to demonstrate the continuity of historic high-grade intercepts (see press release dated February 28, 2019). The objective is to work towards generating a revised resource with better constraints on the high-grade trends.
Phase II Drill Results from MG (Moreira Gomes)
Five diamond drill holes (199-19 to 203-19) were completed at the MG deposit as part of the Phase II drill campaign and were designed to target three potential zones of high-grade gold mineralization (Figure 1) which had been identified in previous drilling. All assay results have now been received from these new holes at MG (see Table 1).

CBR verfolge ich schon seit 1 Jahr,sehr gute Projekte in Brasil, "Big Players" als Nachbarn, Anglo,Eldorado,Nexa,Serabi... Der Chef ist sehr optimistisch(hält ca. 15% ), er erwartet 3-5 Mil.Oz Au ,vielleicht 10 Mil.Oz, was das für CBR (M.Cap.< 7 Mil.C$) bedeuten würde brauche ich euch nicht erklären! Ein 10-Bagger? Übernahmekandidat? Alles ist möglich!

... Kurse um 0,10 CAD sind schöne Kaufkurse,hab gestern noch a bisserl nachgelegt!
letztes 3 Mil.$ (3,4 Mil.$)PP. war zu 0,15 CAD(Juli/19),Ende September hat CBR noch ca. 2 Mil.$ in der Kasse, genug um weitere Bohrungen dieses Jahr durchzuführen!

Noch in diesem Monat will Cabral weitere Ergebnisse des Phase-Zwei-Bohrprogramms veröffentlichen. Darin wird es um die Bohrlöcher 204-19, 205-19 und 206-19 gehen, die sämtlich in der Zentrallagerstätte von Cuiú Cuiù, nordwestlich von Moreira Gomes, hochgradige Strahlen verfolgen.

Eine Sache noch....

Neue NI-Studie dürfte noch im laufe des Jahres (H1) kommen,einige erwarten ca. 2,5 Mil.OZ AU davon 1 Mil.Oz Au high grade, + 10 gr./t Au !!!!

Infill-Bohrungen sind auch in den hochgradigen Zonen innerhalb der Lagerstätten MG und Central geplant, um die Abmessungen der hochgradigen Kernzonen, die von Hüllen niedrigerer Qualität umgeben sind, weiter zu definieren. Habe es mir genau angehört.

Kleine Zusammenfassung:

Die ersten 30 Minuten geht Alan Carter die Präsentation Schritt für Schritt durch.
Dabei ergänzt er diese Infos durch Kommentare. Bzw. erklärt dazu einiges.

Danach "darf" Tina weiter Fragen stellen.

Durch das neue Bohrgerät, welches Cabral vor Monaten erstanden hat, hat man jetzt recht "günstig"
das 25k Meter Bohrprogramm (für 2020) gestartet.
Wesentlich billiger / schneller soll es sein... mit diesem Gerät zu arbeiten.
"Normale" Diamant-Bohrungen, würden ~ 200 CAD per Meter kosten.
Das neue Gerät, würde Bohrungen bis in eine Tiefe von 200 Metern erlauben.

Es werden laut Carter die nächste Woche / Wochen / Monate , Schritt für Schritt diese Bohrergebnisse
bekannt gegeben. Man möchte an sehr vielen Stellen bohren. Natürlich vor allem an den schon bekannten Targets: Central / MG /... doch vor allem auch bei Alonso und anderen recht versprechenden Stellen.

Cabral wird nicht Loch für Loch Ergebnisse veröffentlichen, sondern gesammelt.

Alan Carter sagt in Minute ~ 40,40 , dass er hunderte, wenn nicht gar tausende von "Gold-Prospects"

Medusa target - Soil sampling in and around the Medusa target has identified a large coherent gold-in-soil anomaly which extends at least 1.4km and has a pronounced ESE trend, extending east of the previously reported high-grade boulders which range from 1.1 to 82.2 g/t gold. The presence of this anomaly suggests that Medusa could be a significant mineralized zone and may in part explain why so much placer gold was historically extracted from the adjacent stream which drains to the north
Alonso target - Results have been received on the initial three RC holes completed at the Alonso target. Two of the three holes were drilled 150m east of the high-grade boulders at Alonso while the third was drilled south of the target. These initial holes did not intersect any high-grade gold mineralization. Results are pending on an additional twelve RC holes and the current drill program is continuing

Dona Moca Target

Ongoing regional reconnaissance work in the eastern part of the Cuiú Cuiú concession area has identified another new high-grade target at Dona Moca which is located 1.6km ENE of the high-grade Medusa target (see Figure 1 and press release dated 22nd April 2020).

Surface grab samples collected over an area of 65m in length at Dona Moca showed abundant visible gold (Figure 2) and returned peak gold values of 108.3 g/t, 32.0 g/t, 21.9 g/t and 3.9g/t gold. The source of these grab samples is currently unknown and further soil sampling and surface trenching is planned. It is significant that the samples were collected at the northern end of a major placer working which extends at least 2km upstream to the south. A range of vein cobble types are seen in the drainage suggesting a multi-phase hydrothermal event, with the grey quartz returning the highest grades.

Medusa Target

Results have been received on 1,080 soil samples completed as part of a grid surrounding high-grade boulders at the Medusa target and have identified a coherent gold-in-soil anomaly which extends for at least 1.4km in an ESE direction (See Figure 3). This may indicate the presence of a large concealed mineralized system at Medusa.

Drilling at Medusa is expected to commence in the next few days.

Alonso Target Results and Ongoing Drill Program

In February, Cabral Gold identified the presence of extensive angular quartz vein boulders with visible gold in a drainage with placer gold located 3km SE of the MG gold deposit. Twenty-three samples of this boulder float material were collected and returned gold values of 11.6 to 200.3 g/t gold (see press release dated 11th February, 2020).

Whilst high-grade surface samples have been collected from other targets at Cuiú Cuiú, including the new Dona Moca target described above, the number of samples and the grade of the samples collected at Alonso were unusually high. As a result, the Company elected to drill this target first, even though there were no previous drill holes and an almost complete lack of surface exposure, and considerable challenges regarding access to certain areas of this target.

The initial round of RC drilling at Alonso is now almost complete with 15 holes completed to date. Results have been received on the initial three holes (RC1-20 to RC3-20) and have not identified any significant high-grade gold mineralization. RC1-20 was targeted to drill underneath the area of high-grade boulders but was lost before intercepting the projected down-dip extension of the mineralized zone. RC2-20 and RC3-20 were both drilled as part of a fence 150m east of the high-grade boulders (Figure 4).

Access to the area where high-grade surface boulders have been identified, is challenging, and despite the presence of waterlogged ground due to the proximity to a drainage, the Company was able to drill two additional holes (RC6-20 and RC7-20) which were drilled on the same section as RC1-20. Two additional holes RC4-20 and RC5-20 were completed on the fence 150m to the east. Results on these holes are pending.

Another fence of six holes (RC8-20 to RC13-20) was also completed 950m to the west of the high-grade boulders (western extension) where surface boulders are also mineralized and range from 1.0 to 7.7 g/t gold (Figure 4). Results on these holes are also pending.

Two holes (RC14-20 and RC15-20) have been drilled 75m east of holes RC1-20, RC6-20 and RC7-20, and have been designed to test the northern part of the structural corridor where the high-grade boulders were identified on surface.

The Company remains committed to identifying the source of the extensive alluvial gold in the drainage system at Alonso extending beyond the high-grade boulder occurrences, with the magnetics indicating a significant array of structures and intersections points extending from these initial lines.

The rig will move to the Medusa target this week where drill platforms have already been prepared (see above for discussion of the Medusa target).

The second drill rig will mobilize to Cuiú Cuiú this week. It is a truck mounted RC machine and has the capability of drilling holes to 450m depth. The rig will initially target several of the recently discovered veins in the Machichie SW and Machichie area which are outcropping on surface (see press release dated 24th September 2020).

das sind die warrants die per ende november spätestens verfallen würden (tun sie nicht bei strike 20).
da muss wohl wer mal kasse machen... fängt das wer auf, dann stabilisiert sich das. falls nein, dann keine ahnung wo der kurs stoppt... 20 logischerweise (aber recht sinnlos, da würden viele kaufen)...

Other Targets

Results are currently pending on six holes completed at the Tracaja target prior to the end of year break and drilling has recommenced on this target. An update regarding the drilling at Tracaja will be released shortly and results are expected within the next few weeks.

Surface reconnaissance work is also continuing in a number of different target areas at Cuiú Cuiú with results expected over the next few weeks.

Drill results have been returned on four of five follow-up RC holes recently drilled at the Machichie NE target which is located 150m north of the Machichie discovery where step-out drilling completed in December 2020 returned 34m @ 5.4 g/t gold

Drill results include 8m @ 3.3 g/t gold, 17m @ 0.8 g/t gold including 4m @ 2.9 g/t gold, and 26m @ 0.5 g/t gold. These holes were designed to follow up a mineralized intercept from a single drill hole completed in 2019 which returned 15.9m @ 1.7 g/t gold including 0.5m @ 21.3 g/t gold

This follow-up drilling confirms the presence of another potentially significant mineralized structure just 150m north of Machichie and suggests that the structure has a sub-vertical dip and an E-W orientation, and is sub-parallel to the main Machichie zone

Drilling has re-commenced at the main Machichie target where four additional holes have been completed to the east of the recent step-out high-grade drill intercepts. Results are currently pending on four additional holes which extend for an additional 200m further east of the most easterly hole reported on January 7, 2021

Cabral hatte ich auch mal im Depot. Leider viel zu früh mit paar Prozenten Gewinn geworfen. War noch die Phase wo der Goldpreis so hin und her schwankte. Muss so in der Zeit zwischen 04-07/2020 gewesen sein. Und da hatte ich mir weitgehend unbekannte Positionen liquidiert um nicht mit 0 Cash auf dem falschen Fuß erwischt zu werden. Unbekannt im Sinne von, Ich habe nur kleine Spekulationspositionen aufgebaut und wollte mich später damit beschäftigen. Aber erst mal nen Fuß in der Tür. Diesbezüglich dank an MF der mich drauf aufmerksam gemacht hatte...

Wie sich raus stellte war das ein Fehler

Scheint jetzt aber auch charttechnisch Interessant zu sein. Wenn der Goldpreis jetzt mitspielen sollte, dann wird sich Cabral auch zwangsläufig wieder nach oben bewegen.

Projekt Cuiú Cuiú

Cuiú Cuiú ist ein fortgeschrittenes Goldexplorations- und Erschließungsprojekt im brasilianischen Bundesstaat Para, das unmittelbar an das Goldprojekt Tocantinzinho angrenzt, das sich derzeit im Bau befindet.

Das Projekt Cuiú Cuiú beherbergt ein NI 43-101-konformes Mineralinventar von 21,6 Mio. @ 0,87 g/t Gold (604.000 Unzen) in der Kategorie angezeigte Ressourcen und 19,8 Mio. @ 0,84 g/t Gold (534.500 Unzen) in der Kategorie abgeleitete Ressourcen.

Eine Vormachbarkeitsstudie, die eine potenzielle Ausbeutung der verwitterten saprolitischen Oxid-Goldmineralisierung in Betracht zieht, wird derzeit von Ausenco durchgeführt und soll im vierten Quartal 2023 abgeschlossen werden. Details der Transaktion

Cabral hat Osisko eine NSR-Lizenzgebühr von 1 % für die Produktion aller Produkte des Grundstücks Cuiú Cuiú gewährt. Der Gesamtpreis beläuft sich auf 5 Millionen US$, die in zwei Tranchen gezahlt werden: 2,5 Millionen US$ bei Abschluss und 2,5 Millionen US$ nach der Registrierung bestimmter Sicherheiten, die im Juli 2023 erwartet wird.

Hello Everyone


We have an update out today on progress regarding our PFS on the near-surface gold-in-oxide mineralization at our Cuiu Cuiu project in Brazil. This is an exciting time for our company as we advance the PFS on the viability of mining the near surface gold-in-oxide material and heap leach processing of that material. If the PFS is positive, it should allow for a construction decision during mid-2024. 


Here are Alan’s thoughts. 


Principle takeaways:


1.     We are making good progress with the PFS. The current RC drill program is a significant part of this effort and is aimed at identifying additional higher-grade mineralization. We have completed 69 RC holes to date as part of this program and results are currently pending on 55 holes, so expect more drill results in the near future


2.     This drilling program has returned some excellent higher-grade results to date. These will be incorporated in a revised resource estimate of the oxide material, which in turn will be incorporated into the mine plan. These positive drill results may result in additional higher-grade material which needs to be assessed for gold recoveries  


3.     As a result, additional column leach metallurgical tests are planned as we consider optimizing throughput rates, pad heights etc. for the heap leach operation.  This additional metallurgical work will require a little more time and the PFS is now likely to be completed during the second quarter of 2024 


4.     A second drill rig has arrived on site and is drilling. This second rig is in the process of completing a geotechnical program aimed at understanding the overall ground conditions prior to the erection of the heap leach pads, the agglomeration and ADR plants, and associated infrastructure. The rig has also been tasked with collecting additional samples for the metallurgical work


5.     OK – so what does this all mean?

Well, it means that the drill results received thus far have been very positive and are leading to abit of a rethink on several issues including throughput rates – this means the PFS continues to evolve and is generating opportunities to optimize the value of the project which will take abit more time


We will not have definitive answers on the economic viability of mining and processing the near surface oxide material until Q2 2024 but there will be a lot of news between now and then – obviously if the PFS study is positive, it will be a very significant step forward



As a reminder, the trial mining and heap leach operation is a stepping stone aimed at providing the Company with sufficient capital to drill 1/. The gaps in the existing resources at the MG and Central gold deposits, 2/. Calculate maiden resources for the PDM and Machichie deposits and 3/. Determine how many of the +45 targets are additional gold deposits

Hello Everyone

We have more drill results out today from our Cuiú Cuiú project in Brazil. Today’s results are from 12 additional holes recently completed at the MG gold deposit. 

Here are Alan’s thoughts. 

Principle takeaways:

This is the second batch of drill results from MG reported as part of the ongoing drill program – all of the holes are targeting the weathered gold-in-oxide material which is soft and amenable to free digging (ie no drilling or blasting will be required). This material is of two types; a) soil, mud and sand which contains gold, and is at or near surface and forms a horizontal blanket and b) underlying saprolite material which also contains gold and is soft as a result of natural weathering of the hard granitic rock

Of the 12 holes we reported today, there are again some very encouraging drill results including;

 

RC375 which returned 20m @ 1.6 g/t gold from surface including 9m @ 1.7 g/t gold from surface in the gold-in-oxide blanket and 11m @ 1.6 g/t gold from 11m depth in the weathered basement saprolite

RC376 which returned 15m @ 1.8 g/t gold from 5m depth in basement saprolite including 2m @ 9.2 g/t gold

There are also some excellent intervals of moderate grade mineralization in the near surface blanket sediments which are well above the cut-off grade of the oxide resources

We have so far drilled 18 shallow holes at Machiche which is one of two recent discoveries at Cuiú Cuiú (no resources defined as yet) and is located just 500m north of MG. Whilst results are still pending on these holes, management believes that on the basis of previous drill results and trenches as well as visual results from the current program, that there is a strong likelihood that Machichie represents a fourth gold-in-oxide blanket at Cuiu Cuiu  

OK so why should I care? 

Well, these drill results from MG add even more fuel to the fire. The fire in this case represents the accumulating body of evidence, in the form of drill results from the near-surface oxide material, which demonstrate the presence of a significant amount of higher-grade material within the weathered saprolite and overlying blanket sediments. With previous results, I have emphasized the enormous difference in the value proposition of a drill intercept that is 20m @ 1.6 g/t gold from surface in mud and soft weathered rock (saprolite), and the same interval at say 300m below surface in hard rock. Again, I feel its worth reiterating again here.

These results bring the total number of drill holes reported on as part of this RC drilling program to 26 (see press releases dated 28th October 2023 and 2nd November 2023). But we have now drilled a total of 75 RC holes, which means there are a lot more results still to come, including 31 RC holes drilled at Central and 18 RC holes drilled at Machichie. Results are also pending on 9 power-auger holes drilled at MG

 

For those of you that have taken the minute or so to read the first page of these notes, its perhaps worth reiterating that amongst the numerous junior gold developers and explorers that exist, Cabral is unusual in that it meets all of the following investment criteria;

 

Management – Team has been directly involved in 5 grass-roots gold discoveries in Brazil. CEO has thus far invested $1.8M cash into company and is one of largest shareholders

Location – Cabral’s Cuiú Cuiú project is adjacent to the +2Moz TZ deposit which is currently under construction at a cost of US450M and will be Brazil’s third largest gold mine

Existing resource - currently totaling 1.14Moz of gold comprising 21.6Mt @ 0.87 g/t gold (604,000 oz) and Inferred resources of 19.8Mt @ 0.84 g/t gold (534,500 oz)

Near-term production – pre-feasibility study in progress. Expected March-April 2023. If positive could lead to construction decision during mid-2024

Upside – enormous. Excellent potential to add to existing resources at MG and Central deposits. Two new discoveries at PDM and Machichie with insufficient drilling to determine maiden resources, and 45 peripheral targets with gold assay values

Value proposition – the company has C$5.8M in cash and a market capitalization of just C$24.2M or an enterprise value of C$18.4M which is equivalent to just US$12 for every ounce of gold so far defined in the ground.

"Bohrloch RC368 wurde auf Abschnitt N20895 im südlichen Teil der Lagerstätte Central gebohrt (Abbildungen 1 und 2, Tabelle 1).

RC368 durchteufte eine mineralisierte Decke nahe der Oberfläche und eine kontinuierliche Mineralisierung von 42 m bis zum Ende des Bohrlochs bei 77 m. Ein scharfer Übergang von Saprolit im Grundgestein zu frischem Grundgestein tritt bei 67 m auf. Eine bemerkenswerte Bonanza-Zone (10 m mit 10,5 g/t Gold) wurde im Grundgestein angetroffen.

Bei RC368 gab es Bohrschwierigkeiten innerhalb der nicht verfestigten Decke von der Oberfläche aus. Von 0 bis 13 m Tiefe im Bohrloch wurden keine Proben entnommen. Unmittelbar unter dem nicht geborgenen Material ergab RC368 jedoch 4 m mit 0,7 g/t Gold in nicht deckungsgleichen Sedimenten, einschließlich 2 m mit 1,2 g/t Gold aus 13 m Tiefe (Tabelle 1), was darauf hindeutet, dass auch die oberen 13 m potenziell mineralisiert sind. Kurze Diamantbohrlöcher werden erforderlich sein, um diese potenziell höhergradigen, nicht konsolidierten Sedimente in Oberflächennähe weiter zu untersuchen.

RC368 ergab 10 m mit 10,5 g/t Gold im Grundgestein von 67 m bis zum Ende des Bohrlochs. Darin enthalten sind die bereits zuvor gemeldeten Bonanza-Abschnitte von 1 m mit 63,6 g/t Gold und 1 m mit 28,3 g/t Gold (Tabelle 1). We have more drill results out today, this time from the Machichie target. We have not previously reported any drill results from Machichie as part of this program and we regard these results as being very significant for several reasons;

Principle takeaways:



The Machichie target is located just 500m northwest of the MG gold deposit which obviously has an extensive gold-in-oxide blanket. Like MG, Machichie is another E-W trending zone which we have traced in previous drilling and trenching for 900m E-W. The mineralized zone is still open


Previously, the focus of the drilling at Machichie was on determining the extent of the gold mineralization in the underlying intrusive basement rocks (see my comment above), but the current program is focused on determining the extent of the overlying gold-in-oxide mineralization at Machichie, which is obviously the weathered material. It is important to note that there are currently no ounces in the most recent resource estimate (neither in the oxide or the underlying hard rock material) due to insufficient drill density


This is the first batch of drill results from Machichie and more are pending. Most of the holes cut significant gold values in the saprolite material. Results include;


RC399 which returned 23m @ 1.1 g/t gold from surface
RC402 returned 23m @ 0.5 g/t gold from surface including 1m @ 6.6 g/t gold. The hole also intersected 7m @ 2.5 g/t gold from 30m
RC407 drilled returned 10m @ 0.6 g/t gold from surface


These initial drill results from the near surface oxide material at Machichie clearly indicate the presence of significant gold values in the weathered saprolite material. Initial results are comparable to those at MG. Furthermore, they suggest that there is an excellent chance of adding additional resources of oxide material to the existing oxide resource base at Cuiu Cuiu and the proximity of this material to the MG gold deposit is obviously a huge plus


Results are still pending on 12 additional RC holes from Machichie as well as 13 RC holes from Central and nine shallower power-auger holes at MG
