      ich möchte Ihnen raten Ariba Inc ( WKN: 923835 ) zu kaufen.
      *Kurs: 40$

      *Business Model:
      Ariba Inc ist der führende business-to-busines (B2B)Anbieter von e-commerce Plattform und Netzwerk-Service Provider. Über die offene, end-to-end Infrastruktur von interoperierender Softwarelösungen und webbasiertem commerce Service, ermöglicht Ariba Inc effiziente on-line trade, Integration und Zusammenarbeit zwischen B2B Marktplätzen, Käufern, Zulieferen und commerce Service Providern.
      Die Funktionalität der Ariba B2B commerce Plattform erielt eine auf das Internet bezogene Öknomie, welche die führenden Unternehmen nutzen und ihre Einkäufe mit Hilfe Aribas Lösungen transparenter und wesentlich kostengünstiger macht.
      Gerade die drohende Rezession in den USA wird weitere große Unternehmen dazu veranlassen, Kosten durch B2B Lösungen einzusparen, um Gewinne nicht verwässern zu lassen.
      In naher Zukunft wird der gesamte Einkauf über solche oder ähnliche Lösungen generiert werden.


      *Zahlen:
      Am 11. Januar gab Ariba Inc seine Tahlen für das 1/Q. 2001
      bekannt. Ariba setzte im abgelaufenden Quartal die Rekordsumme von 170,2 mio$ um und erzielte einen Gewinn von 14 mio$ oder 5 cents pro share.
      Der Umsatz stieg um 692% gegenüber dem Vorjahresquartal an und die street wurde um 3 cents geschlagen.
      Für das 2/Q. 2001 erwartet das Management einen Umsatz von 185 mio$ und einen Gewinn von 6 cents.
      Für das gesamte Geschäftsjahr 2001 wird nach Angaben Aribas mit einem Umsatz von 780 - 800 mio$ und einem EPS von 26 - 27 cents gerechnet.
      Im Jahr 2002 soll das EPS bereits bei ca. 50 cents liegen.
      Anhand der Kennzahlen ergibt sich ein 02 KGV von gut 80.
      Auf dem ersten Blick sieht das KGV hoch aus, jedoch sollte man bedenken, dass Ariba Inc neben Commerce One der "first mover" ist und nahmenhafte Kunden wie America Airlines, VW, Texaco, Sony und weitere an sich gebunden hat.
      Zudem ist Ariba das erste B2B Unternehmen das bereits schwarze Zahlen schreibt und somit ist die bereits hohe Bewertung durchaus gerechtfertigt.

      Sollte der Wiederstand bei ca. 42$ überwunden werden,
      sollte der Kurs schnell bis auf 48$ steigen.




      *Kursziel:
      - auf der Sicht von 3 Monaten sollte sich der Kurs weiter erholen und mein Kursziel liegt bei 48$.
      - auf der Sicht von 12 Monaten liegt der faire Wert bei 60$.


      *Fazit:Institutionelle Anleger steigen wieder ein, also nichts wie rein in einen echten Blue-Chip.

      Ich habe am Freitag Ariba gekauft und habe meinen Stoploss
      bei 36$ gesetzt.
      Sollte Ariba unter das 52 WOCHENTIEF von 32$ fallen,
      muß man handeln. Es empfiehlt sich für konservativ denkende Anleger, dort den SL zu setzen und spekulativ orientierte Anleger müssen beim unterschreiten des SL den Wert leer verkaufen.

The acquisition will be accounted for as a purchase and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of Ariba`s fiscal year 2001. The company believes that the transaction will be accretive to earnings in fiscal year 2002.       Eigentlich dürfte die Aqusition von Nutzen sein und war doch auch in der Form zu erwarten. Der Bruch zwischen Ariba und I2 wird nicht in aller Öffentlichkeit vollzogen werden ( zumindest nicht wie die Verkündung der Allianz ).
      Beide Unternehmen gehen ihre eigenen Wege, da jeder versucht sich auf dem bisher exklusiven Bereich des Partners breitzumachen.
      Agile ist ohne Frage einer der Hauptkonkurrenten von I2.
      Ob jedoch gerade dieser Einkauf passt und der Preis allen schmecken wird, werden wir im Laufe des Nachmittags erfahren...

      Guten Tag,
      nachdem Ariba den deal mit Agile bekannt gab, fiel der kurs auf 35$.
      Ich habe diesen Kursverfall genutzt um weitere positionen aufzubauen und habe zudem meinen SL gestrichen.
      In der 35-36$ range haben viele ihren SL gesetzt und diese shares werden jetzt fleißig eingesammelt.
      Ich denke mal, dass wir heute einen schönen bounce back erleben, denn der deal ist gut.
