Bill Gates weiste vor ca. 3 Jahren darauf hin, das Voice Recognition Systems die Zukunft ist und MSFT investiert über deren Investmentarm seit längerer Zeit in Fonix.
Im Gegensatz zu NUAN ist FONX eine Consumer orientierte Firma, welche Cooperationen mit Panasonic, Samsung und anderen bekannten Consumer Product Herstellern
abschloss.
Die Aktie war einmal am Nasdaq gelistet (Höchstkurse bei $9-10) und wurde aufgrund fehlenden Vertrauens in das Produkt abverkauft.
Meiner Meinung nach, kann jetzt die Aktie bis auf $2-3 in den nächsten 3-5 Jahren steigen.

Wann war denn Fonix mal länger als 4 Stunden auf 9-10$ ?
Wenn ich mich recht erinnere, war das mal im Laufe eines Börsentages, an dessen Ende sie knapp über Tagesanfang schlossen (1-2 $)
Preisfuchs,auch ich will meine Aktien mal bei mehreren Dollar verkaufen, doch Anlass zur Hoffnung, das das bald geschehen könnte, sehe ich auf Grund der letzten Meldung leider noch nicht.
Solange in meinem recht grossen Bekanntenkreis keiner mit sprachgesteuerter Software in jedweder Form ernsthaft arbeitet, sind wir noch nicht so weit.

du bist ja ein ganz schlauer mit genialen Sprüchen *g*. Fonix war 1996 wenn ich mich nicht irren sollte sogar bei 12$ mein lieber *g*.
Heute ist Fonix bei knappen 6 cent und 9% aktuell im Plus. Wenn Du an der Story zweifelst, kann ich Dir raten zu verkaufen. Gefrustete Typen egal warum auch immer sollten lieber Fakten schreiben ( wenn schon negativ eingestellt )oder geduldig den Weg nach oben ( Ich spreche von 2-3$ in 3-5 Jahren )verfolgen.

Denk einmal zwei Jahre zurück da hat keiner gesagt alle NM-Aktien wären zu teuer. Oder wär hätte da gedacht das eine Mobilcom kurz vor der Insovenz steht. Ich denke bei FONX ist die Chance ( gutes Geld verdienen ) zum Risiko ( Totalverlust ) sehr hoch. Jeder muss es selbst wissen wenn er kauft. Ein Pusch über Deutschland halte ich für nicht möglich da der Umsatz in Deutschland zu gering ist.

Gefrustet bin ich auch nicht, und optimistisch bezüglich Fonix bin ich eigentlich auch noch. Nur auf Grund der letzten Monate werde ich nicht euphorisch, wenn es mal zu kleinen Kursausschlägen nach Norden kommt.
Allerdings bin ich der Meinung, das auch nichtgefrustete Typen sich an Fakten halten sollten.

Hier wird niemandem zunahe getreten. Jeder bildet seine eigene Meinung auch wenn diese, nicht der meinen entspricht. Dazu diskutieren wir über FONIX. Ich sehe FONX auf dem Weg nach oben, der andere sieht FONX auf Kurs Totalverlust, was ich nicht glaube.

so, nunmal ein paar FAKTEN.

Fakt ist, FONX verbrennt zur zeit pro Quartal 10 mil$. Dem gegenüber stand im letzten Quartal erstmals ein Umsatzplus von ein paartausend $. FONX hat keine Kohle mehr und der Kredit von MS ist auch schon wieder verbrannt.

Fakt ist, Fonx zahlt teilweise keine Gehälter mehr an die MA. (ganz schlecht)

Zu den positiven Seiten.
Die Aktie kostet nur noch 5 cent, auch bei extrem schlechten Zahlen für dieses Quartal wird es nicht mehr viel weiter runtergehen.

Die Aktie prallt seit Monaten regelmäßig unten bei 5 cent ab und steigt dann wieder auf 7 cent. Diese Spielchen konnte man dieses Jahr schon viermal mitmachen. Waren immer 25-40%. Zweimal war ich glücklicherweise dabei.

@Preisfuchs, macht Stoxx auch so

auf Kurse um 1$ warten wir schon seit 2 Jahren, seitdem ging es aber stetig gen Süden Richtung 0,03$

Genauso könnte ich jetzt Kurse von 3€ für Gontard prognostizieren, das ist soziemlich genauso wahrscheinlich wie FONX zu 2$.

zusammenfassend: Tendenz eher tot als Auferstehung, aber für einen kurzfristigen Zock immer ein Leckerli. Achtet mal drauf, zu 5 cent rein und bei 7 wieder raus. Bei guten Meldungen können auch schön mal 10-15 cent kommen, wie schon oben erwähnt.

Bin vorgestern auch bei 0,0505 am NASDAQ wieder rein und freu mich schon auf die 40%.

Also, good luck allen Investierten, aber bloß keine 3 jahre aussitzen

Ich denke, dass Poelsi die richtigen Fakten auf den Monitor gebracht hat! Bei Fonix ist es effektiv so!

Alle die über 0.3$ sind können nun mit 0.05 - 0.07 so einige male Versuchen den "Verlust" wieder wegzumachen!

Bin vorgestern auch bei 0.05 rein denke aber nicht, dass ich diese in den nächsten Wochen über 0.2 verkaufen werde.....! Da müssten schon Super Nachrichten kommen...!

Revenue from license fees, royalties, product sales, and engineering fees was $834,076 for the three months ended September 30, 2002, an increase of $568,430, or 213%, over the comparable period in 2001. Revenue for the nine months ended September 30, 2002 was $1,812,057, an increase of $1,306,130, or 258%, over the comparable period in 2001.

"Our significant revenue growth represents continued progress in closing new contracts, accelerating product delivery and market acceptance of Fonix speech solutions," said Thomas A. Murdock, Chairman and CEO of Fonix Corporation. "We are very pleased with these year-to-date results and expect continued increases in the future."

Fonix recently realigned its marketing strategy to focus more resources on mobile and wireless markets, and assistive markets. During the third quarter of 2002, cash resources have been restricted as the Company awaits SEC clearance of a registration statement that will allow the Company to draw from its third $20 million equity line of credit that was signed in June 2002. As a consequence of the weak tele-communication industry and restricted cash resources, the Company has reduced its workforce and limited development efforts to support those customers that represent immediate revenue opportunities.

"In spite of our recent financial restrictions, we are pleased to be experiencing substantial growth in our sales efforts due primarily to the personal extraordinary commitment of our employees during the past several months to continue to deliver the Fonix speech solutions," stated Roger D. nxServus,weil mir die Idee supergefällt,mit der Sprachsoftware.Ist auch noch genügend Potenzial drin mit der Sprache, aber für Fonix? und ich hab selber mal 125000STCK.gehabt.Ich würde auch wieder kaufen,aber sehe zur Zeit keine Zeichen für einen Anstieg,kaufe wenn es nachweisbar aufwärts geht.Wünsche trotzdem allen Investierten alles gute.Bin halt enttäuscht,mußt Dir nur die alten Treads durchlesen,Kursziele,usw. This program is awesome! I`ve only had it one day, but I`ve been using it non-stop. I have converted tons of text to MP3 and transfered them to my MP3 player. Great for students or people like me who have an hour commute to work. The interface is very easy to use and the voices are easy to customize. The inflection in the voices is amazing. Text-to-speech has a long way to go, but this is the best I`ve heard yet. I plan to buy this program for everyone in my family! I highly recommend this product to students, people that are tired of eye strain and computer geeks like me that like the latest and greatest.

Dear Unwary Customer,

This product is absolutely terrible..... Please avoid this insipid attempt to save you time. You won`t be able to understand a damn thing. The voices sound like your listening to a bad McDonald`s drive through speaker from about 10 feet away. You can barely understand them.

I think this is the worst product I`ve ever purchased. What a lousy product! I`ll never buy another one of Fonix products and neither will any of my executive business associates and partners. I`ll personally and passionately recommend against it. In fact, I wish I could find a more public venue to voice my disgust of this product besides amazon.com!

I think the software engineers that developed it need to go back to the drawing board. They need to develop better voice quality; or rather ANY voice "quality". I wish I`d never bought it! To bad CompUSA doesn`t allow a return on software.

Mir ist es lieber, es wird nichts über FONX geposted, als dieser nahezu 100% Schrott im Raging Bull. Seit Jahr und Tag gehe ich, speziell bei Fonx alle paar Wochen mal rein. Das letzte Mal gestern. Alles was da geschrieben steht, bis auf wirklich ganz wenige Ausnahmen, ist Meinungsäusserung auf niedrigstem Niveau.
Zu Fonix: Haben fast einen allzeit-Tiefstand erreicht. So richtig wohl ist mir nicht dabei. Wer jetzt nachkauft, hat meiner Meinung nach immer noch zu viel Geld. Die Zeit spricht gegen Fonix. Jeder von uns sollte losgehen, und ein paar Spracherkennungsprogramme kaufen. Vielleicht hilft das

Dass einzigste was an fonx derzeit noch positiv ist, sind die vielen Produkte die sie dieses Jahr zur Marktreife gebracht haben. Jetzt hilft nur noch beten, dass die US-Konsumenten dieses Jahr auch ein paar Fonixprodukte unterm Weihnachtsbaum haben. Sollten sie durchkommen, werden sie auf jeden Fall eine große Nummer im Sprachtechnologiesektor.

Keine anhaltenden steigende Kurse in den nächsten Wochen.
Vielleicht gibt es mal die schon bekannten Monsterausschläge für ein zwei Tage, doch anhaltend wird erstmal nichts passieren. IMO. Erstmal gibt es den IRAK, wenn es abzusehen ist, das diese ganze Sch.... nicht ausartet, wird massiv in die ganzen Substanzwerte investiert, und die grossen Indexe gehen nach oben. Riskantes Geld, zb Fonix, wird erstmal ignoriert. Sollten die Zahlen von Fonix im nächsten Quartal weiter Richtung Break Even und darüber hinaus zeigen, ist ein Kurs in Richtung stabile 10-15 Cent möglich. Wenn wir Ende des Jahres, ich setze weitere positive Zahlen voraus, bei 25-30 Cent wären, ist das Schlimmste überwunden, und Fonix hat eine echte Chance allen jetzt investierten gutes Geld zu bringen.
Doch bis dahin ist ein langer Weg.

Die Quartalszahlen sind derzeit noch nicht aussagefähig.
Interessant wird sein, ob fonix wirklich dem Break Even
dieses Jahr nahe kommt. Angeblich machen die derzeitigen
Verträge ja Hoffnung. Ehrlich gesagt ich glaube nicht richtig
daran, ohne nochmaliges frisches Geld wird es wohl nichts
werden.

32-bit Microcomputers

(FNIX) , an international provider of award-winning speech solutions, announces that Meridian Environmental Technology, a leading provider of weather forecasting and analysis services, has deployed a multistate traveler information service beginning in North Dakota; the system utilizes Fonix speech technology.

In July 2000, the FCC assigned 511 as the number for nationwide access to traveler information. 511 was designated as a free service and when fully implemented will cover the majority of roads in the United States, helping travelers avoid congested routes and safety hazards. Meridian and Fonix have partnered to incorporate Fonix`s standards-based s.Manager(TM) integration platform into Meridian`s 511 traveler information system.

Meridian`s 511 system using Fonix technology is currently available in North Dakota, with other states scheduled to deploy the system in the near future. As the 511 system expands coverage across the United States, it marks a significant revenue opportunity for Fonix. Fonix licenses its speech technology to Meridian under a nonexclusive contractual agreement. Under the license agreement, Meridian can purchase additional ports as they expand their service to other states.

(bei NEOM 910212 ist z.b. noch viel potential nach oben vorhanden).
