      FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Iobjects Announces a Profit for Q2

Seattle, WA — August 10, 1999 — Interactive Objects (OTC.BB:OBJX), today announced the first profitable quarter in the Company’s history. Fueled by business model improvements and realized revenue from strategic investments, actual earnings for second quarter 1999 are impressive. A detailed account of Iobjects’ second quarter financial results will shortly be submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission, Form 10-QSB.

Results for the second quarter reported that Iobjects earned a net income of $178,913 compared with a net loss of ($715,620) for the same period in 1998. On a quarter to quarter analysis, revenues for the second quarter increased from $582,830 to $1,203,096, a substantial rise over first quarter revenues for the same year, ended March 31, 1999.

“These exciting financial results highlight our first profitable quarter and reflect our ability to provide exceptional consulting services and to create marketable, cutting-edge software applications that push the envelope for embedded application technology,” said Steve Wollach, President & CEO of Interactive Objects.

In October 1998, Iobjects completed a major corporate reorganization, which involved refocusing the Company’s business initiative. In just eight months, second quarter results substantiate Iobjects’ role as a successful and profitable industry leader. Second quarter successes include Iobjects’ well-deserved press attention in April 1999 for their latest intellectual property investment: the first high fidelity, near-CD quality, digital audio player for the Palm-size PC. With support for Microsoft`s Windows Media Audio file format, Iobjects’ technology is capable of almost twice the compression of digital audio files when compared to MP3. The extraordinary compression optimization of the Mobile Audio Player has lead to several interesting partnering opportunities for the Company. Iobjects’ digital audio player is currently shipping with Casio’s Cassiopeia E-100 and E-105.

Second quarter earnings also reflect the Company’s profitable acquisition of Avatar Interactive, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Interactive Objects. Avatar offers a full range of development services including custom software solutions, Internet development, software training, and testing. Consulting contracts of note for the second quarter included the signing of a long-term contract with Microsoft to develop Internet solutions for the Desktop Finance Division. Under the terms of the contract, Avatar Interactive is providing project management, design, planning, implementation, testing, and support services for an unnamed commercial Internet product within the Desktop Finance Division.

Avatar`s second quarter contracts for SAFECO, a national property and casualty insurer, included development of a custom software application, as well as a contract involving Microsoft Certification training classes. Avatar`s testing contracts for second quarter focused on testing the configuration, installation, and setup of a major online service for the worldwide leader in software for personal computers.
“Changing the corporate direction set by those before us by committing to a new way of business was not an easy task,” said Steve Jackson, Executive VP, Business and Technology Development, Interactive Objects. “These very positive financial results reflect the dedication and effort of every person in the company.“

As part of the new corporate business plan, Iobjects seeks to leverage the collective intellectual property and talent of multiple organizations to generate research, consulting, and licensing revenue. The realized revenue and success from the Information Appliances and Avatar Interactive divisions serve as an indicator of future promise for the new Iobjects.

      Hi,
      PiratPilot,

      Hi,
      Blockbuster,
15x strong buy, hört sich sehr gut an!

      Lies mal dieses:
"Revolutionäres Video-System" bzw. "Digital Panoramic Media für die nächste Generation" !

"COMTEX/ -- iMove(TM), the industry leader in digital panoramic media, introduces the iMove Spherical Video System(TM). The system enables users to capture, seam and edit full motion video using a unique spherical video camera. Each frame of the video is a highly detailed, digital 360-degree spherical panorama.
      Photo: HTTP://WWW.NEWSCOM.COM/CGI-BIN/PRNH/19990810/SFTU012
"The system overcomes the limitation of conventional video by capturing
everything from sky to ground and in-between," explains David Ripley, CEOof iMove. "Viewers can navigate through an environment, `looking` and `going` anywhere, branching left and right, moving backwards and forwards, and zooming in and out."

The crux of the system is an all-digital spherical video camera. Two inches
square and weighing barely five pounds, the camera is mounted on a
andle that comprises the entire capture unit. Multiple 24-bit color video data streams feed via a cable into a portable iMove video capture computer. This computer features a 13-inch screen and an 18 GB removable hard diskthat can store up to forty-five minutes of video per removable disk. A rechargeable battery powers the complete system.

The iMove Spherical Post-Production System produces a polished panoramic video for viewing and interacting on any PC or Mac. The system runs on a high-speed Silicon Graphics workstation using Adobe Premiere and iMove`s panoramic media production suite for non-linear video editing. The system enables users to add audio, sound effects and titles -- the same features that you would expect with standard video.

"The paths `through` panoramas are limited only by users` curiosity," says Matt Furlong, CEO of iMO, Inc., a Boston-based multimedia company and iMove content partner. "A spherical video places users in the center of a scene enabling them to decide where they want to go, whether down a corridor, around a car or along side an assembly line. It immerses them in the sights, sounds and ambiance of a real environment."

This fall, iMO will begin using the iMove Spherical Video System for creating interactive content. Another company that has recently invested in the system is Rotography(TM), a British multimedia production firmthat creates object and panoramic movies for web sites and CDs. "We`re extremely pleased and excited about developing the European market for products and services using iMove`s new 360 degree interactive video," comments David Clarke, President of Rotography.com.

In addition, several systems have been sold to the Federal Government. iMove delivers the most complete set of true spherical imaging technology available today," says Charles Madison, Vice President of Business Development, Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute (IITRI), Annapolis, MD. "Their technology -- in particular, their video system -- has enabled IITRI to provide to government customers advanced imaging solutions for Federal mission training, rehearsal and surveillance."

Captured spherical videos can be used in numerous ways. First, segments of the video can be selected for broadcasting or included on videotapes. An entire spherical video can be placed on a CD or DVD allowing users to view and analyze every aspect of the filmed environment. Individual frames can be printed. And, the entire video can be archived for future use.

Potential applications include creating advertisements for broadband,
conducting surveillance, gathering news, viewing sport events, reconstructing crime scenes, surveying hazardous sites, documenting real estate for facilities management and training.

According to Jeff McCrea, Director of Marketing, Desktop Products Group for Intel, "We are excited to see iMove`s new standard of panoramic media being delivered on Intel`s architecture. It enables a new class of applications for business-to-business visualization."

"The iMove Spherical Video System lets us quickly document, maintain and
distribute information to our clients," explains Howard Fields, CEO and
President of Viscomm(TM), a developer of Internet and CD-ROM information systems for facilities management. "It lets us do what no other system offers -- capture everything at once letting viewers decide what they want to see."

The iMove Spherical Video System will be available in September. Formore
information about the system, please call 800-990-2449 in the U.S. and Canada or visit the iMove web site at WWW.IMOVEINC.COM.

      Hallo Brummbär,

nur weil im vorletzten Absatz steht:
"Capabilities include the creation, editing and viewing of all types of panoramic media including spherical video, walk-throughs, panoramas and Interactive Objects in either real or computer-generated environments.",
