ich habe gerade in meinen Wasserkocher geschaut und
da habe ich gesehen, dass ALIF von 0,22€ auf 4,50€
springen wird.Dies wird natürlich ein Weilchen dauern,
aber ich denke, wenn UMTS startet, dann ist die Zeit
für ALIF und sein Produktportfolio reif
Das wird dann auch etwas mit wallstreet-online zu tun haben



in den USA übrigens heute plus 131% auf 0,30

According to the company, the new design should improve not only size and cost but is expected to also increase reliability and reduce the power required to operate the silicon micromirror that is the centerpiece of Microvision`s scanned beam systems.

The company`s current displays make use of a micromechanical chip that is packaged in a vacuum-sealed enclosure in order to maximize its performance. The new design eliminates the vacuum -- without impacting performance -- and simplifies the electrical drive structure of the scanning engine to enable solutions that consume less power and are dramatically smaller, lighter and lower in cost. Eliminating the vacuum package also improves the optical performance of the scanner. The current design enables displays with up to 1.4 million color pixels, but the new drive structure may also enable further improvements in display resolution.

"This breakthrough should enable us to develop a scanning engine that can support a wide range of high volume consumer products, including electronic viewfinders for digital cameras and camcorders," said Rick Rutkowski, Microvision CEO. Microvision, Inc. (Nasdaq:MVIS), today announced that American Honda Motor Company, Inc. has signed a non-binding letter of intent to purchase 3,800 Nomad Systems with shipments to begin in January 2004, following Microvision`s planned release of a next generation Nomad System later this year.

Honda intends to distribute the Nomad Expert Technician Systems to its Honda and Acura dealers and to independent repair shops in North America. The letter of intent follows the successful results of a trial in late April with the Nomad System at American Honda`s training facility in Torrance, CA in which technicians averaged an impressive 39% gain in efficiency ( http://www.microvision.com/hondatrial ). Honda`s intent to purchase identifies several conditions including a scheduled test of the enhanced Nomad product at Honda`s training facilities in late August.

Microvision says that it estimates that there are 590,000 service technicians employed at automotive dealerships and independent repair garages throughout North America and nearly 1.4 million worldwide.

"Nomad" projiziert Computerbilder auf direkt die Netzhaut
Längst begleiten uns leistungsfähige Rechner in Auto, Bahn und Flugzeug und ermöglichen uns, lästige Wartezeiten produktiv zu nutzen. Doch richtig angenehm ist solche Arbeit unterwegs nicht, denn vor allem die viel zu kleinen oder dunklen LCD-Schirme machen das Lesen von PDA und Laptop meist zur Qual. Eine neue Idee aus den USA könnte das jedoch ändern.


"Nomad" heißt das System des amerikanischen Herstellers Microvision, mit dem Computerbilder in hoher Auflösung als virtuelles Bild direkt auf die Netzhaut projiziert werden. Wie einen Datenhelm trägt der Anwender das so genannte Head Up Displays (HUD) auf dem Kopf. Bislang erzeugten solche HUDs ihre Bilder zunächst auf einem Monitor oder einer Flüssigkristall-Anzeige, die dann über statische Spiegel ins Auge umgelenkt werden. Anders dagegen bei Nomad, erklärt Microvision Chef Rick Rutkowski: "Wir verwenden dazu einen Lichtstrahl und eine schnelle Ablenkeinheit. In Nomad wird der Lichtstrahl durch einen winzigen, beweglichen Spiegel aus Silizium abgelenkt und die Helligkeit dabei variiert." Ähnlich wie bei Fernsehröhren schreibt der Lichtstahl seine Abbildungen zeilenweise direkt auf die Sehzellen der Netzhaut. Allerdings liefern bei Nomad drei Dioden in den Grundfarben rot, grün und blau das Lichtsignal, das über Linsen auf den Spiegel gebündelt wird. Damit aber eine Auflösung von 800 mal 600 Bildpunkten erreicht wird, sind die Anforderungen an den Spiegel beträchtlich: "Der Spiegel bewegt sich sehr schnell. Um eine Super-VGA-Auflösung zu erreichen, schwingt er horizontal 19000 mal pro Sekunde. In vertikaler Richtung oszilliert er mit etwa 60 Schwingungen pro Sekunde. Nur so können wir die Qualität eines Displays erreichen", erläutert Rutkowski.

Weil der Spiegel selbst halb durchlässig ist, kann der Benutzer auch weiterhin seine Umwelt wahrnehmen. Auf diese Weise können Mischbilder aus Computer und Realität erzeugt werden, die bei Navigationssystemen, computergestützten Wartungssystemen, in der Medizin oder der Logistik verwendet werden könnten. Die Anforderung an die Software, die bei zukünftigen Anwendungen das computergenerierte Bild mit der Umgebung zur Deckung bringen muss, sind allerdings immens. Eine weitere Besonderheit der Bauart sieht Rutkowski bei der störenden Wärmeentwicklung herkömmlicher Konzepte. So konsumieren die drei Leuchtdioden weniger Energie als ein LCD-Flüssigkristallbildschirm. Außerdem können im Gegensatz zu Nomad die einzelnen Pixel von LCD-Displays nicht beliebig verkleinert werden, wodurch ihre Auflösung stark eingeschränkt wird.

Bislang waren Head Up Displays vor allem dem Einsatz in der Militärtechnik und hochprofessionellen, virtuellen Computerwelten vorbehalten. Allerdings steht der Markt für individuelle Anzeigesysteme noch in der Entwicklung. So sieht Rick Rutkowski eine Reihe von möglichen Anwendungen für Nomad: "Die ersten Anwendungen für Nomad gibt es in der Industrie, in der Medizin oder der Luftfahrt. Dabei können die Benutzer Informationen wahrnehmen, während ihre Hände anderweitig beschäftigt sind. Das erhöht die Qualität und die Sicherheit, mit der man seine Aufgaben erledigt." Während das US-Militär sowie einige Autohersteller bereits Interesse an dem kompakten Darstellungssystem zeigen, werden Privatanwender noch eine Weile auf Nomad warten müssen, denn erst hohe Stückzahlen werden das bislang einige Tausend US-Dollar teuere System in erschwingliche Dimensionen bringen.

herausgenommen und was kann man tun, damit die auch in Berlin wieder gehandelt werden?

ich denke, dass ALIF so manchen positiv überraschen wird, was die Entwicklung und die Zahlen dieses Jahr angeht. Wenn sich die Software gut verkauft über die Handys von Erricson Hongkong, dann übernimmt sie vielleicht auch Erricson selber und wer weiss, möglicherweise dann auch der ein oder andere Handyanbieter. Der Markt für ALIF-Aktien ist ja bekanntlich sehr, sehr eng. Ich glaube 10 Millionen Aktien waren es damals vor 3 Jahren (lass es jetzt 12 Millionen sein), wovon aber Herr Schöneburg selbst 75% oder so hält, also 7,5 Millionen. Wenn, sagen wir mal der Umsatz dieses Jahr nur 5 Mio. betragen würde, dann würden vielleicht 3 Mio. Gewinn bleiben, dass wären immerhin 25 Cent pro Aktie, bei einem KGV von 10 hiesse das ein Aktienkurs von 2,50 Dollar (wobei, wie schon gesagt `eh nur vielleicht 4-5 Millionen Aktien handelbar sind). Ich meine, dass dies durchaus erreichbar ist, obwohl doch auch sehr spekulativ, weil keiner so richtig weiss, was hinter den Kulissen bei ALIF abgeht. Wenn es aber so kommen sollte, da bin ich mir auch ziemlich sicher, dann wird Herr Schöneburg ALIF sicherlich wieder sehr schnell an einer neuen Börse anmelden, vielleicht ja in Hongkong. Aber, wer weiss das schon genau. Auf jeden Fall, wie schon gesagt, kann vielleicht der ein oder andere, der ALIF noch als Leiche in seinem Depot liegen hat, eine positive Überraschung mit der Aktie erleben. Wir werden es ja sehen, spätestens dann nächstes Jahr.

Die Telcos lechzen ja in Sachen UMTS nach passenden
Anwendungen und ALIF hat ja in den letzten Jahren
einiges an Entwicklungsarbeit geleistet und man kann
nun noch schnell günstig einige ALIFs weglegen
















als vor 3 Jahren in Sachen "Künstliche Intelligenz" den Leuten die Phantasie durchging, zahlte man noch 40$ für
eine Wette auf die Zukunft
Nun sind wir im Jahr 2004 und UMTS startet nach und nach und das Produkangebot zB Portfoliomanager eignet sich doch ausgezeichnet, um die Plattform von w-o hier zu ergänzen

ich bin natürlich auch optimistisch. Was bleibt mir auch anderes übrig? Es kann eigentlich nur noch nach oben gehen, nachdem ALIF wohl doch nicht totzukriegen ist, nicht? Also, hoffen wir mal.

ALIF sollte man sowieso jetzt kaufen und dann einfach
2-3 Jahre "nicht mehr hingucken" und wenn dann die Technologie dann doch endlich zum Einsatz in der Realität kommt und etwas Geld fließt, dann sehen wir auch locker wieder Kurse von 5 oder 6 $

Ich betrachte die kleine Investition in ALIF jetzt als Lottoschein mit mehrjähriger Laufzeit.

Artificial Life has Celebrated her 10th Anniversary on July 4th, 2004!

It is hard to believe that we are around for 10 years already, but it is true. We started as a small subsidiary
of a German multimedia company called Neurotec GmbH in Boston, Mass., USA. In 1997, I bought the
company in a management buy-out and brought it public one year later in December 1998 on the
NASDAQ market in the US. We became the pioneer in the space of intelligent agents and smart bots for all
sorts of web applications. From 1998 to 2001, we expanded strongly and our valuation on the stock market
reached nearly USD 400,000,000. But with the sudden collapse of the Internet bubble in the spring of
2001, a lot of our clients were adversely affected and went bankrupt, and that got us into troubles as well
and forced us to downsize dramatically. However, we never gave up! We kept fighting and turned out to be

jetzt dürfen mal alle hier lachen: habe zum ersten Mal in diesem Jahr nach der Aktie geschaut und glaube meinen Augen nicht zu trauen: Die sind ja noch gar nicht delistet, geschweige denn pleite !!! Also ehrlich mal: daß es die noch gibt, grenzt an ein Wunder. Daß es Brueller noch gibt, find ich auch lustig, ich hoffe nur, ALIF wird noch zum Brüller ... Ich verstehe leider nicht sehr viel vom neuen Geschäftsfeld Mobile ???, kann noch nicht mal eine SMS auf meinem Handy schreiben. Liegt wahrscheinlich am Alter.

Einst vor langer, langer Zeit habe ich die Aktien mal bei German Brokers gezeichnet, aber den Ausgabekurs habe ich längst vergessen. Ist vielleicht auch ganz gut so, oder ? Damals war ich vom Konzept der Smart Bots begeistert, so wie ich überhaupt von Künstlicher Intelligenz immer schon begeistert bin (kennt noch jemand virtual reality entertainment group plc - was ist aus denen geworden ? Wurden mal um 1995 von der Berliner Effektengesellschaft emittiert, war eine der Timm-Buden). Wird dieses Geschäftsfeld der Smart Bots überhaupt noch weiter geführt ? Falls ja, ist da noch etwas zu erwarten ?

Macht mir mal Mut die Stücke weiter zu halten und nicht jetzt als Spatz in der Hand zu verkaufen.

If, however, in both cases, the prices during the session start coming below the benchmark, avoid buying. Sell if you feel a definite tendency in prices to close the day below the benchmark.

The third case of confirmation is rarely observed. If one of the three confirmation criteria is not fulfilled, or in case of a black candlestick or a doji on the confirmation day, the BUY-IF alert remains valid, however without confirmation and the three confirmation criteria are then sought in the following day. The only exception is the long black candlestick. Any long black candlestick following a BUY-IF alert makes it (the signal) void and invalid.

BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick with a lower open and a higher close. The buying price is the previous close ( 1.2500 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.

The recent bullish formation leading to the BUY-IF signal is confirmed today. The market seems ready for a new bullish move. Though the market opened lower today, the day’s activity created a white candlestick that closed above the previous close. This is a valid confirmation criterion.

von dieser firma muss man einfach überzeugt sein. es ging mit grossen umsätzen rasant hoch und jetzt mit relativ wenig wieder runter. stimmt mich positiv. aber wer den kursverlauf vorhersagen kann... der ist noch nicht geboren.

im letzten monat hat praktisch jeder teurer eingekauft und mit etwas spielgeld liegt trotzdem ein horrender gewinn drin.

überzeugt ist übertrieben. die hoffnung stirbt zuletzt, da ich nichts mehr zu verlieren habe. jeder cent ist für mich ein gewinn, da ich den titel eigentlich schon abgeschrieben hatte.

irgendwie fühle ich schon 2,35 US$

aktuell 1,30

kommen die Bots etwa bald nach Deutschland

(hat 8 Monate gedauert aber ich hatte im innersten das Gefühl, dass es so kommt)

...schon eigenartig...monatelang ein Kampf um jeden cent und dann in 3 Tagen von 0,70 auf 2,50 $

Es ist eigentlich wieder Zeit für neue Meldungen und ab heute startet die neue ANTM-Staffel inkl. der ALIF-Werbespots!
Kurzfristige Ausschläge nach unten sind immer möglich, aber das hat mit einem Invest nix mehr zu tun, sondern eher mit Zockerei.

Wie oft bist du denn bis jetzt rein, wieder raus, wieder rein und wieder raus? 3x? 4x?
