bzw. nachkaufen. Der jüngste Aufschwung ist mit keinem bisher dagewesenen zu vergleichen. Bisher hatte es der Kurs noch nie geschafft signifikant die 200 Tage Linie zu durchbrechen. Der stieg heute wieder kräftig an, nachdem er sich der 38 Tage angenähert hatte. Es scheint wohl wirklich etwas im Busch zu sein. Lassen wir uns überraschen und freuen uns über neue Höchststände !
Der Schlusskurs in USA liegt bei 1,72 im Geld (~45%). Wir werden hier morgen wohl einen kräftigen Aufschwung sehen !

Eurogas Starts Early Production on Billion Barrel Russian Gas-Condensate Field
CALGARY, ALBERTA--Eurogas Corporation is pleased to announce that a major milestone has been achieved by its 50% owned Russian subsidiary - Urengoil Inc. Urengoil Inc. has entered into a contract with the Russian Research and Production Enterprise, Azimut to begin early production from Urengoil Inc.`s Yaro-Yakinsk gas-condensate field in Western Siberia. The initial well pad will accommodate four wells and is designed to provide condensate and natural gas production. Weather permitting, it is expected that the early production test will begin by the second quarter of this year and will run for two years from that time. An independent feasibility study outlines that the field will eventually contain 56 well pads accommodating a total of 232 production and water injection wells when in full production. The early production test undertaken by Azimut is designed to provide valuable reservoir data which is required to determine optimal gas production rates in order to maximize!
the ultimate recovery of condensate from the field. The early production condensate will be trucked from the field and will be sold on the Russian market.
The funding for this early production test will be provided by Azimut. Urengoil Inc. will receive 30% of the production proceeds from the two year test. As part of the agreement Azimut has also provided a loan of $1 million (US) to Urengoil allowing that company to settle certain outstanding obligations and augment working capital. The loan bears interest at 8% and matures in two years. Eurogas expects that it`s interest in the first two years of production will be more than sufficient to repay the $1 million (US) loan.
The anticipated production for the two year test period is 364,000 barrels of condensate. Until pipeline facilities are available the company has permission to flare the accompanying natural gas that will be produced. It is anticipated however, that the 62 inch pipeline being constructed by Gazprom from its Zapolyarnoye Field 65 km to the north will be available sometime during the two year period, in which case the natural gas will be sold under agreements yet to be negotiated.
The Yaro-Yakinsk field was discovered in 1985 by Eurogas` 50% partner Urengoy NefteGaz Geologia (UNGG) and has been delineated by 53 wells. Independent petroleum consultants, Gilbert Lausten Jung of Calgary did an appraisal in 1997 and concluded that the proven recoverable reserves of the Yaro-Yakinsk field are:
Oil 241 million barrels
Natural Gas 3.516 trillion cubic feet
Condensate 165.2 million barrels
LPG 289.3 million barrels
In total, the field contains in excess of 1 billion barrels of oil equivalent (BOE).
