Falkland Oil and Gas Limited (“FOGL” or “the Company”) FOGL Prepares to Open Data Room to Interested Parties FOGL is an oil and gas exploration company operating in the undrilled South and East Falkland Basins, potentially a new petroleum province in the South Atlantic. In May, after announcing the preliminary results of its 9,450 km 2D seismic survey, FOGL received a number of unsolicited approaches from companies wishing to sound out the possibility of farming into the project. In its preliminary results statement, issued on 20th May, FOGL stated that it was evaluating the option of including another party or parties in the project across some or all of the license acreage. FOGL today announces that it has contacted a number of companies to offer them access to a data room from September, with the aim of announcing at least one deal by the end of the year with more to follow in 2006. The other key points of the farmout process are: • FOGL has identified 13 areas for farmout • Companies will be able to farm in to all of the acreage or just choose to farm in to certain blocks • FOGL is seeking companies with deepwater experience, preferably both exploration and development • Farminees can opt to become operator and earn significant equity or become a non-operating investor in return for less equity John Armstrong, Chairman of FOGL, said: “Following the successful placing in May, FOGL has sufficient cash to cover all exploration and corporate costs through 2006, with drilling expected to start in 2007. However, the response we received in May to the exploration update suggested that we should investigate the option of a farm out now as a possible way to accelerate the project. “With a 90% average equity stake over a 79,000 sq km licence area, FOGL has the flexibility to agree a number of farmout deals while retaining a significant equity in the project to the benefit of its shareholders.”

Aber natürlich was glaubst du wie teuer schaffswolle ist!!!!
gabs ja schon öfters und ich bin auch drauf reingefallen. Immer mit der Angst im Rücken was zu verpassen. Zwei Wochen später dann fast 10% tiefer.
Der FOGL fliegt schon noch, ich glaube nicht daß der Falklandkrieg nur aus "Prinzip" geführt wurde. Die Argentinier haben das Empire sicher nicht wegen der Schafe herausgefordert.

ja, vielleicht hast Du recht, aber plötzlich +8% bei 10-fachen Umsätzen, das war schon seltsam, ich tippe eher auf eine Empfehlung in GB.
der FOGL fliegt also doch nur dem Ölpreis hinterher, das hat er wieder mal eindrucksvoll bewiesen.
nope dies war noch nicht der fall aber dann werde ich mich mal ranmachen ihn durchzulesen aber ich denke ich kann mir die antwort auch jetzt schon geben....
