TORRENT ENERGY - +75%, wenn...
Torrent Energy (Nachrichten) (TREN) : 1,97 $ (+0,77%)
Aktueller Tageschart (log) seit November 2002 (1 Kerze = 1 Tag)
sagenhafte 2500 % !!!
Selbst kurzfristig müßten 6,30 Dollar = 5,16 Euro erreicht werden, was 288 % wären.
---------------------------------------------------

Torrent Completes Drilling Of First Well On Radio Hill Pilot
Project
=======================================================================
Vancouver, British Columbia -- December 6, 2005 -- Torrent Energy
Corporation (the "Company") (OTCBB: TREN) is pleased to announce the
following developments from its wholly owned operating subsidiary,
Methane Energy Corp. ("Methane").
Methane has completed drilling and setting production casing for Radio
Hill #1 and has now commenced drilling the second Radio Hill well.
These wells are included in Methane`s Radio Hill pilot project located
in Coos County, Oregon and are being drilled from a single pad within
the Coos County forest lands located approximately two miles south of
Methane`s Beaver Hill pilot project. The Radio Hill #1 well,
vertically drilled to a depth of 4,250, feet, encountered numerous
gassy coal seams in the Lower Coaledo formation above and below the
targeted "D" coal seam. The shallower "P" coal specifically
demonstrated gas throughout the drilling process and will be
investigated further with follow-up drilling and during the completion
phase of the project. The second Radio Hill well will be directionally
drilled on strike to the Radio Hill #1 well and will also target the
Lower Coaledo "D" and "P" coal seams.
Methane`s Chief Operating Officer, John Carlson states, "Drilling
results from the Radio Hill #1 well, along with the five Beaver Hill
wells, have confirmed our geological interpretation of the Lower
Coaledo coal seams over an extended area, and strong gas shows from
multiple coal seams encountered in the six wells drilled to date
continue to support further drilling, completion and testing work in
the Coos Bay basin. Further technical evaluation is continuing to
determine the optimum well densities and completion strategies on our
Beaver Hill and Radio Hill pilot projects."
Roll`n Oilfield Services have delivered their service rig #35 to the
Radio Hill site and completion work will commence initially on Radio
Hill early in January 2006. The rig will move between the Radio Hill
and Beaver Hill sites as required to facilitate perforating, swabbing
and stimulation work planned for the Beaver Hill and Radio Hill wells.

Torrent Provides Update on Radio Hill Completion
Wednesday February 1, 9:00 am ET
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2006--Torrent Energy Corporation (the "Company") (OTCBB:TREN - News) is pleased to announce the following developments from its wholly owned operating subsidiary, Methane Energy Corp. ("Methane").
On January 28 through 30, 2006, Methane`s Radio Hill # 1 well was successfully perforated over a number of individual coal seams comprising a total of 35 feet of coal at intervals ranging from 2,735 to 3,950 feet of depth. The completion program includes the running of static gradient tests, measurement of inflow of formation water into the wellbore, the sampling of reservoir gas and water qualities and the measurement of gas flow rates. Measurable gas was flared at the site upon the completion of the perforation operations. Swabbing operations will continue for a number of days to allow the well to clean-up and establish a stabilized test rate. Bottom-hole pressure recorders will be run in the well and will record reservoir draw-down and build-up pressures once a stabilized production rate is achieved. Current plans include selective nitrogen stimulation utilizing a Halliburton coiled tubing unit scheduled to arrive on location mid to late February.
The Roll`n service rig #14 is scheduled to be moved from the Radio Hill pilot project site to the Beaver Hill pilot project site in a week`s time to commence completion operations on the Beaver Hill #1 through #5 wells.
Methane`s President, Steve Pappajohn, states, "We are very pleased with the preliminary results for this well completion and we have positive indicators of both water and gas inflow into the wellbore from a number of Lower Coaledo coal seams. These results, in our view, continue to support MEC`s ongoing exploration efforts in the Coos Bay basin in Oregon. It will however take some time to complete the testing operations at Radio Hill and Beaver Hill and gather the necessary production and pressure data to fully interpret and understand the insitu characteristics of these Coos Bay basin coals."
