Apache wird Operator für Kenya L8!!

ORG erreicht ein farmout zu Apache; Apache erhält 50%; ORG behält 25%; PCL ebenfalls 25% und ist selbst in farmout Gesprächen.

Das ist eine großartige Entwicklung für PCL; Apache's Eintritt Offshore Kenya wird erneut einen weltweiten Fokus auf East-Afrika legen (... zudem wäre Apache natürlich der Mega-farmenee für Kenya L6...). Die Verhandlungsposition von PCL mit potentiellen Partnern für das eigene L8-farmout ist so signifikant verbessert.

Kenya L8 wird gebohrt und das vermutlich noch in diesem Jahr. Das ist die wichtigste Botschaft dieses Agreements...!

Aus dem ORG-Announcement

"Origin's Executive General Manager, Geoscience & Exploration New Ventures, Dr Rob Willink said: "Origin is pleased to have secured this agreement with Apache which, subject to joint venture and government approvals, will see the joint venture go forward and assume a commitment to drill. We also welcome Apache, as incoming operator, bringing to the joint venture its specialist drilling expertise".

... sorry, dass war natürlich Quatsch... das März-Quartal endet in 7 Wochen...

also es kann schon noch etwas dauern bis ORG etwas bekannt gibt; trotzdem kann natürlich auch jederzeit was kommen...

Punters anticipate PCL/Origin will soon announce farm in deal for Block L8 offshore Kenya.

Pancontinental Petroleum was up again this week. In a answer to a please explain from the ASX Pancontinental pointed out that the then JV involved in the Kenyan offshore Block L8 were in negotiations with several major international oil companies regarding a farm in. PCL said it would release the results of these discussions in due course.

Zudem gibt es ja auch noch Entwicklungen auf den anderen prospects:

STX zu Baniyas (Acticities Report):

Baniyas (STX: 61.5%)
Negotiations to expand the Company’s interest and permit position across the entire Baniyas prospect continued during the quarter without agreement being reached.
Whilst an agreement will continue to be pursued, work has been initiated with the objective of securing a drilling rig to test the Baniyas prospect, within the Company’s permit EP 424, during the current calendar
year.
The Baniyas oil prospect is strategically located between Onslow and Thevenard Island, off the West Australian coast.

Nach wie vor gestalten sich die Gespräche mit Chevron offenbar schwierig - aber man ist nun schon auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten Rig - also auch hier sind News nun nach Jahren des Wartens "imminent"... sehr gut!

Und selbst in die Malta/Libyen - Grenzthematik scheint nun Bewegung zu kommen - auch das kann für unsere PCL von großer Bedeutung sein:

.... über 10 Mio gehandelt, man, man man !!! Herr Komissar, es ist nie zu spät, wir stehen mal gerade bei einer MK von knapp über 30 Mio Euro. Sollten wir einen Hit landen wäre diese momentane MK natürlich ein Witz.

Das sind nicht nur ein paar Punter, die auf ein Announcement wetten...

Ich rechne nun jeden Tag mit einem Announcement seitens Orgin Energy zu Kenya L8: Potential upgrade, farmout und drilling plan.

Das schrieb ORG im letzten Quarterly (31.1.2011):

3.12 Offshore Lamu Basin (Kenya)
Interpretation of the Mbawa 3D marine survey is progressing. PSDM processing of the data set continues and is expected to be completed during the March Quarter 2011 ahead of a decision to drill.

Hallo Gemeinde, da ist man mal ein paar Tage nicht da und schon stehen wir über 0,07 AD und peilen, zwar langsam aber stetig, die 0,10 AD an. Schaffen wir das noch im Februar? Manchmal gehts ja schnell, aber hier scheint es keiner zu bemerken!!!

Hallo Resources,

nein, natürlich gekauft.
Bin über die Namibia-Lizenzen auf Pancontinental gestoßen.
Habe mich am Wochenende mal intensiv mit dem Unternehmen und seinen Projekten auseinandergesetzt und hier eine gute Chance entdeckt.
Mal schauen, wo wir in 3 Jahren stehen.
