Arctic Star Exploration Uplisted in the United States to OTCQB Marketplace Under the Symbol ASDZF
Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - January 3, 2018) - Arctic Star Exploration Corp. (TSXV: ADD) (OTCQB: ASDZF) (FSE: 82A1) (WKN: A2DFY5) (the "Company" or "Arctic Star") is pleased to announce that its common shares have commenced trading on the OTCQB® Venture Market in the United States under the symbol ASDZF. The company's common shares will continue to trade under the symbol ADD on the TSX Venture Exchange and 82A1 on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Arctic Star is currently exploring the Timantti Diamond Project (the "Project", see press release dated November 23, 2017) located near the township of Kuusamo, Finland. Ground geophysics are nearing completion and will be followed up with a drill program consisting of approximately 8 drill holes (1,500m). Exploration is focussed on two previously discovered diamondiferous kimberlites known as the "Black Wolf" and "White Wolf"kimberlites. The Project is located approximately 450 kilometers Northwest of the operating Grib Diamond Mine and includes a 243 hectares Exploration Permit and 5,700 hectares Exploration Reservation.
The Company also has diamond exploration properties in Nunavut (Stein), the NWT (Diagras and Redemption) and a rare metals project in BC (Cap). Arctic Star has a highly experienced diamond exploration team previously responsible for numerous world class diamond discoveries.

- 2 Böhrlöcher auf Black Wolf haben Kimberlit durchschnitten: "In core drill hole D486-07, kimberlite was logged from 1.5-17.0 m depth, and in core drill hole D488-07 kimberlite was logged from 3.0-18.3m depth." (page 28)
- 10 Böhrlöcher auf White Wolf haben Kimberlit durchschnitten: "WW Kimberlite was tested with ten shallow core drill holes, by EPD that cluster in an area some 25m in diameter (Figure 14). All drill holes intersected kimberlite beneath shallow overburden and most core logs document that holes ended in crustal rocks described as greywacke or greenschist." (page 28)
- Es gibt dort Diamanten in großer Stückzahl: "On June 1, 2006 EPD reported on a mini-bulk sampling in Area 3. An 8.7 tonne sample of near-surface kimberlitic rock, collected from the first significantly diamondiferous body in Area 3 returned macro-diamonds. The mini-bulk sample, processed by GTK’s Outokumpu facility returned 1.25 carats of +1mm diamonds. The largest stone in this small parcel was 0.09 carats." (page 28)
Mich interessieren die weiteren Möglichkeiten auf dem Gelände vorerst nicht, wie andere Kimberlite (da nicht bewiesen), aber die Infos aus dem Report sind Fakten. Wenn das aktuelle Bohrprogramm genug Nachweise für Diamantenmengen und Grade erbringt, könnte Timantti eine wirtschaftliche Mine mit einfachem Zugang und guter Infrastruktur (niedrige Kosten) werden. Sogar eine kleine Diamantenmine würde sich lohnen.
Lass uns hoffen, die Ergebnisse sind positiv.

Trading Spotlight
Die heutige Meldung von Arctic Star markiert einen echten Neustart – man muss sich das mal vorstellen: das Unternehmen gibt es schon seit 2001. Das sind 16 Jahre. Man kann Arctic vorwerfen, dass es viel Geld verbrannt hat, aber eines ist auch klar. So eine Chance wie jetzt in Finnland hatte das Unternehmen noch nie. Der Unterschied zu den früheren Projekten im hohen kanadischen Norden ist, dass Finnland wesentlich bessere Bedingungen bietet als die Wildnis in beispielsweise in Nunavit. In Kanada geht der Großteil des Budgets schon für Helikopterflüge drauf. Ein einziges Bohrloch kann da leicht bis zu eine Million Dollar kosten. Ganz anders in Finnland. Auf das Timantti-Projekt kann man von der nahe gelegenen Stadt mit dem Auto fahren. Abends geht die Crew ins Hotel.
Das Team aus Buddy Doyle und Roy Spencer würde jedem Großunternehmen Ehre machen. Beide haben für Rio Tinto gearbeitet und jeder hat erfolgreich Diamantenminen entdeckt. Ich finde es echt bewundernswert, dass sie so lange an dem finnischen Projekt drangeblieben sind – im Grunde seit 10 Jahren. Das spricht dafür, dass die beiden hier wirklich eine herausragende Chance wittern. Technisch ist das Projekt ja schon eine Discovery – es geht nur bei den aktuellen Bohrungen v.a. darum, die Datengrundlage zu verbreitern.
Wenn es – wie der heutige GI-Artikel andeutet – gelingt, eine finnische Diamantenindustrie zu begründen, reden wir hier nicht von einem kleinen Unternehmen, sondern von einem Megaunternehmen, an dem die Großen der Branche über kurz oder lang nicht vorbei können.
