Guter Beitrag auf Stockhouse:
"Gold goes up. Great news on grades and widths at Eskay and yet SKE goes down. Is it due to the fact that Walter has no relevant mining industry qualifications and does not get what analysts want to see? SKE urgently needs is a new CEO. Walter mostly lives in New York and boasts of being a high yield investment analyst at UBS. Was that a junk bond sales position? Hmmm. Walter has no prior experience in the mining sector apart from his father’s deal with Mr N to sue the state of Virginia over a defunct Uranium project. Walter takes a generous salary of $300K + per year - more than the PM of Canada earns. There is a litany of SKE deals that go nowhere. Rainey Mountain Silver was an excursion that ended nowhere. The Sona purchase resulted in the issuance of shares but does not even get a mention. The option of the Snip project is for, as I understand it, a deal of 3 years + 3 years + a 1 year extension = 7 years if the option runs its full course. Wonderful! Can anyone out there wait that long? So why did Mr Coles have SKE spend $17 million on Snip with excellent results, only to give it away by an option to a comapny with no experience in Canada, with Hochschild to spend $ on exploration and to dilute SKE to 40% and then have the possibility of Barrick come in for 50% for an eventual SKE position of 20%. My opinion is that a major asset was given away for inadequate consideration. Why was that deal not put to shareholders to approve and why was not any consideration given to operating Snip at say 20K oz per year and produce cash flow instead of the oft repeated “.... SKE is pleased to announce ....” yet another private placement with yet again more dilution. But when a person is earning more than that PM of Canada earns in an industry that you know little about, who cares? That is the message that I get. Sorry to say but its time for Walter to walk the plank and for SKE to get a professional mining engineer or geologist as a CEO.
