presentation ) was Mason Graphite LLG

Berkwood Resources to acquire Cobalt Ford property

      2017-06-05 12:47 ET - News Release

      Mr. Thomas Yingling reports

BERKWOOD ACQUIRES COBALT FORD PROPERTY, QUEBEC

Berkwood Resources Ltd. has entered into an agreement to acquire 1084422 B.C. Ltd., a private B.C. company, whose sole asset is the Cobalt Ford property. The Cobalt Fold property is located in the Cote-Nord area of Quebec. The property is made of one block of 40 claims, totalling approximately 2,176.19 hectares, or 21.76 square kilometres. The property is situated near extensive infrastructure. The Manic 5 hydroelectrical dam is located approximately 15 kilometres south of the property and can provide lodging, food and other services, as well as an airport.

Geological mapping in the area of the property was performed in 1977, 1997, 2005 and 2006 and revealed the presence of multiple sulphide mineralization. Cobalt values of 904.3 parts per million and 1,480 parts per million have been returned from rock sampling. A drilling campaign happened in 2006, which focused on the western half of the property. In 1996, 2004 and 2006, airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys were performed over the property.

The property contains three base metal showings. The Lac Paradis 1 showing is located on the western part of the property and was drilled by Quinto Technology. Best results returned 4.64 per cent nickel, 2.37 per cent copper, 0.12 per cent cobalt, 19 parts per billion platinum, 110 parts per billion palladium and 168 parts per billion gold. In the centre of the property is the anomaly EM C2 showing, which returned up to 1,554 parts per million Cu, 229 parts per million Ni and 5.6 parts per million Ag. On the eastern part of the property is the anomaly EM E2 showing, which returned up to 0.19 per cent Cu, 0.09 per cent Ni, 0.04 per cent Co and 3.1 parts per million Ag.

In the vicinity of the property, there are numerous base metal showings. Approximately six kilometres south of the property is the anomaly EM H1-H2. Grab samples were collected, and the best samples returned 0.16 per cent Ni, 0.67 per cent Cu and 0.02 per cent Co. Located 10 kilometres east of the Cobalt Ford property is the anomaly K15L2. Grab samples were collected on this anomaly, and the best samples returned 0.5 per cent Cu. The company intends to explore the property using till sampling and prospecting as part of its summer exploration program.

The acquisition is an arm's-length transaction in which the company will issue 2.4 million common shares by way of a share exchange agreement and a cash payment of $15,000. There are no royalties payable, and the company will own 100 per cent of the property. The issuance of the acquisition is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

Dr. Remi Charbonneau, PhD, PGeo No. 290 (an Associate of Inlandsis Consultants senc), is an independent qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, and has reviewed and approved the technical information provided in this news release.

Berkwood Resources acquires Li project in Quebec

      2017-07-11 09:55 ET - News Release

      Mr. Thomas Yingling reports

BERKWOOD RESOURCES LTD. ACQUIRES DELBREUIL LITHIUM PROJECT, ABITIBI DISTRICT, QC

Berkwood Resources Ltd. has acquired from 1124026 B.C. Ltd. a package of 53 claims located over a lithium-rich zone of the Abitibi area, east of Simon Lake, Que., which the company has named the Delbreuil lithium project. The property is easily accessible by main and secondary roads, and is located in a region characterized by other know occurrences of lithium.

The Delbreuil project acquisition transaction comprises payment to 1124026 B.C. Ltd. of 2.1 million common shares and $15,000. The transaction remains subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

The acquired claims have similar geology to other known lithium showings in the immediate area: the known occurrences on the project property and on the other known occurrences comprise pegmatites that host spodumene. The project claims were previously explored for base metals: Among the historic data is an assay on a sample recovered from pegmatite that returned anomalous lithium (1,290 parts per million), tantalum (126 ppm) and rare earth elements. These elements are good pathfinders for pegmatite dikes that have the potential to host Li and other commodities.

Historic work on the project confirms the occurrence of mafic and granitic rocks, the latter including known late-stage pegmatite intrusions. Satellite images over the project extend the evidence for the presence of multiple outcrops are consistent with the mapped granites and have high potential for hosting pegmatite intrusions. The company intends to rapidly assess the claims for further pegmatite occurrences, the targeted host rocks of lithium mineralization.

The property also includes the Delbreuil base metal showing with historic assays on drill core of up to 3.4 per cent zinc, 0.27 per cent nickel, 0.38 per cent copper, 4.1 grams per tonne silver and 0.06 per cent cobalt. Also located on the property, the Nodier showing includes assayed Zn mineralization, with up to 1.1 per cent Zn reported.

In the vicinity of the property, multiple lithium showings are known, including the Lac Simard showing with up to 1.3 per cent lithium. The Debreuil property was not previously subject to specific lithium exploration so the company is currently planning a phase 1 survey consisting of prospecting, mapping and till sampling to better define the lithium potential of the property.

Berkwood prepares for Lac Gueret South drilling in Aug.

      2017-07-26 01:51 ET - News Release

      Mr. Thomas Yingling reports

BERKWOOD MOBILIZES IN PREPARATION FOR DRILL PROGRAM AT LAC GUERET SOUTH GRAPHITE PROJECT

Berkwood Resources Ltd. has mobilized crews to its Lac Gueret South graphite project located in Quebec. In early July, Berkwood's technical team visited the Lac Gueret South property and conducted a detailed survey of the selected drill locations to determine the best roads and trails to be used or opened, and to locate appropriate sources for water for the drill program. Over the next few days, crews will return to the property, and will be clearing roads and building drill pads for the commencement of the drill program, which is planned to commence in the first part of August. The company anticipates completing about 1,500 to 2,000 metres of drilling in this initial phase of work.

      Lac Gueret South property, Quebec

Lac Gueret South is located in Cote Nord, Quebec, a three-hour drive from Baie-Comeau in an area of very good infrastructure. The project directly borders Mason Graphite's advanced Lac Gueret project to the south. With a market capitalization of over $200-million, Mason owns one of the largest high-grade graphite deposits in the world, and is planning on building a new graphite mine and processing plant.

In 2014, Berkwood conducted an electromagnetic (EM) airborne geophysical survey over its Lac Gueret property and identified several anomalous zones of high conductivity. Several of these anomalies have been downgraded as they are considered too small or too deep to represent economic graphite deposits; however, the Zone 1 and Zone 2 anomalies are of significantly larger size and are therefore considered high-priority targets for immediate exploration by drilling and trenching. These large anomalous conducive areas are almost entirely covered by muskeg and till with few bedrock outcrops available propertywide.

      Lac Gueret South's Zone 1

Two distinct electromagnetic conductors appear to occur over a two-kilometre length and 50 metres to 600 metres in width as defined by airborne EM geophysics (see the Berkwood news release dated Feb. 10, 2015). The western part of this zone was further defined by ground VLF and EM surveys: Four VLF and 22 contiguous PhiSpy EM conductors have been detected over an apparent 800-metre length and up to a 300-metre width. This western area is interpreted as a potential bulk graphite zone interlayered within the hinge of a complex fold. The limbs thin to 50 metres in width farther to the east.

A total of 11 rock grab samples were collected in the vicinity of the Zone 1 anomaly: Three of these samples contained 36.3 per cent, 14.4 per cent and 1.04 per cent Cgr (carbon as graphite), respectively. The presence of significant values of carbon as graphite found in the vicinity of these mainly covered large geophysical anomalies is interpreted to indicate that the anomalies are probably large graphite zones.

      Lac Gueret South's Zone 2

Zone 2 lies immediately south of the Mason Graphite claim boundary and along strike from the graphite zones of Mason Graphite. A total of two VLF-EM and 15 PhiSpy ground geophysical anomalies confirm the occurrence of two parallel east-west conductors. The larger conductor extends one kilometre in length and 60 metres in width.

Edward Lyons, PGeo (British Columbia, Quebec, and Newfoundland and Labrador) is a qualified person under the definition of Canadian National Instrument 43-101, and has approved the technical information in this news release. The Cgr analyses were carried out and certified by AGAT Laboratories of Mississauga, Ont., using an LECO furnace and an infrared detector.

Tom Yingling, president and chief executive officer, stated: "I am very pleased to be mobilizing ground crews for preparing for the drill program. This drill program has been years in the making, and I look forward to the drill turning early August. With only approximately 15 million shares outstanding, success at the drill bit could have significant impact on our share price. In addition to this drill program commencing, we are pleased to announce that we are designing the exploration program for our cobalt and lithium properties as well."
