Timelines
"Good morning Robert and thank you for your message. We appreciate your patience. While we have given guidelines as to when we expect projects to be completed, we are under a very strict regulatory environment, not only in regards to our cannabis operation but also our proximity to the air base in Las Vegas and we had to go through many levels of permitting to get the facility up and running, as well as our other projects. Plans are submitted, requested changes need to be made and plans resubmitted. This is standard for construction projects in addition to the nature of our business and the added regulation. If it is was up the company, we would be able to stick to our timelines; however, this is not the case and we are working within what we can push ahead. We said that we would deliver the largest indoor cultivation facility and we did. Was it on time, no as it was largely out of our control and we gave guidance on timelines that we were given. I completely understand the frustration from the investor side without knowing all the work that goes into a project and we have three capital projects on the go as well as getting the facility up and running and getting our first harvest underway. We will have updated timelines and information in due time, with the caveat that we are working closely with the city and state authorities and that we need to satisfy all regulations. Thank you again for always supporting us on social media and hope to see better markets ahead. Best regards, Alexia"

In early 2018, the Nevada Department of Taxation — which oversees the state’s cannabis industry — began accepting applications for recreational marijuana retail licenses. The first round of licensing was only open to holders of medical marijuana dispensary licenses. In November 2018, the Department opened the application process to those not holding a medical dispensary license and subsequently awarded 61 new retail licenses.
