Aber die Bürokratie, die mit einer extra Einkommensteuer-Erklärung verbunden ist, kann sicherlich lästig und teuer sein (wenn man komplizierte Verhältnisse hat).
SALT (state and local tax) (~), also die damit verbundene Möglichkeit der Anrechenbarkeit auf die nationale Steuer und deren Quasi-Abschaffung unter Trump ("Cap"), war wohl so ein Knackpunkt für viele finanzstarke Umzugswillige:

Ich bin kein Experte, aber ich würde sagen: Florida ist besser als Texas. Hurricanes gibt's in beiden Staaten und in Texas kommen noch die Tornados, Überflutungen und ab und zu kein Strom im Winter hinzu
