Ein schöner Beitrag über Valero von Zahltagstrategie auf YouTube..
Valero kauft jetzt mit dem Cash Schuldverschreibungen aktuell im Wert von 1 Mrd. Dollar.
Ich hoffe mal es wird nochmals investiert ggf. vlt. machen die nochmals ein Schnapper z.B. in der Verbesserung und
Ausbau der Logistik seiner Rohstoffe und Endprodukte.

Strategic Update
Refinery optimization projects that are expected to reduce costs and improve margin capture are progressing on schedule. The Port Arthur Coker project, which is expected to increase the refinery’s throughput capacity, while also improving turnaround efficiency, is expected to be completed in the first half of 2023.
The DGD project located next to Valero’s Port Arthur refinery (DGD 3), which is expected to have renewable diesel production capacity of 470 million gallons per year, should commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2022. The total annual DGD production capacity is expected to nearly double to approximately 1.2 billion gallons of renewable diesel and 50 million gallons of renewable naphtha upon commencement of DGD 3’s operations.
BlackRock and Navigator’s carbon sequestration project is still expected to begin startup activities in late 2024. Valero is expected to be the anchor shipper with eight of its ethanol plants connected to this system, producing a lower carbon intensity ethanol product expected to be marketed in low-carbon fuel markets that should result in a higher product margin.

Ich warte auf die Heizsaison wenn Diesel benötigt wird in Europa respektive für die ganze Kriegsmaschenerie.
Biodiesel würde auch bei uns knapp werden denn Verbio hängt von der Schwedt Raffenrie mehr oder weniger ab.
Persönlich gefällt mir die Dividende von derzeit 8,5 % auf den EK sehr gut zumal ich keine bessere Alternative finden kann.

Ich spekuliere auf Bioenergie das noch einen Schub bringen sollte.

Benzin scheint echte Mangelware in den USA zu sein, schön für Valero.
Die Notierungen für Biodiesel und Bioethanol bleiben auf einem recht hohen Niveau.

An der Stelle bietet Valero alles aus einer Hand incl. Bioenergie. Damit ist Valero gleichzeitig im Agrabereich tätig weil dabei auch Viehfutter bzw. Weizenproteine für Veganer respektive dann auch Maisöl.
Valero bietet meiner Meinung noch viel Potential nach oben zumindestens habe ich meine wenigen Stücke immer noch im Depot.
Ich bin dann anderweitig eingestiegen. Ansonsten - wie bei Valero - die Logistikseite beachten also Terminals, Pipline, Schiffe, Bahn und Straße.
