PACIFIC RIDGE ANNOUNCES AGM RESULTS

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. saw the following directors elected at its annual general meeting held June 23, 2022: Gerald Carlson, Blaine Monaghan, Bruce Youngman (an independent director), Borden Putnam III (an independent director) and Gary Baschuk (an independent director). In addition, the shareholders reappointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, chartered accountants, as auditor of the company and approved the company's rolling incentive stock option plan, pursuant to which a maximum of 10 per cent of the issued shares will be reserved for issuance under the plan. The plan is subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.

The following officers were appointed after the annual general meeting: Mr. Carlson as executive chairman, Mr. Monaghan as president and chief executive officer, Danette Schwab as vice-president of exploration, Salvador Miranda as chief financial officer and Arie Page as corporate secretary.

"Pacific Ridge has built a strong management team and board and I'm extremely confident in their ability to execute and oversee the company's biggest exploration season in decades," said Mr. Monaghan, president and chief executive officer. "Crews are mobilizing to the Kliyul copper-gold project and I expect that the fully funded, 6,000-metre diamond drill program will be under way in the first week of July. This will be the largest ever drill program to take place at Kliyul and will be focused on expanding mineralization at the Kliyul Main zone laterally and to depth.".......

PACIFIC RIDGE ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF GEOLOGIST

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. has appointed C. Paul Jago as chief geologist of the company.

Mr. Jago has nearly 20 years experience in mining and mineral exploration in Canada and the United States with a focus on porphyry systems. Most recently, Mr. Jago worked for Centerra Gold Inc. as exploration manager, generative -- North America. Prior to Centerra, Mr. Jago was a regional geologist with B.C.'s Ministry of Energy and Mines with responsibility for the north-central and northeast regions. Mr. Jago has also worked for Freeport McMoRan (exploration geologist at the Sierrita and Bagdad copper-molybdenum mines in Arizona), Teck Resources (exploration geologist at the Lorraine alkalic porphyry copper-gold deposit) and Placer Dome (graduate studies geologist at the Mount Milligan alkalic porphyry copper-gold deposit).

Mr. Jago is a professional geoscientist registered with Engineers and Geoscientists B.C. Mr. Jago received his bachelor of science degree (geology/geomorphology/GIS) from the University of Toronto. While completing his master of science degree at UBC (geological sciences), he worked as a research scientist at UBC's Mineral Deposit Research Unit (MDRU).

"We are very pleased to welcome Paul to our team," said Dr. Gerry Carlson, executive chair of Pacific Ridge. "In addition to his strong academic and professional background in porphyry deposit geology and exploration, he has spent much of his career exploring and studying the porphyry copper-gold deposits of north-central B.C. Mr. Jago will work closely with Danette Schwab, Pacific Ridge's vice-president, exploration, supporting the upcoming drill programs at the Kliyul copper-gold project and the RDP copper-gold project. In addition, Mr. Jago will lead the company's regional exploration programs at the Chuchi copper-gold project, the Onjo copper-gold project and the Redton copper-gold project. Pacific Ridge will also draw upon Mr. Jago's extensive knowledge to identify new project acquisitions..........

(TSXV: PEX) (OTCQB: PEXZF) ("Pacific Ridge" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that all five of the Company's copper-gold porphyry projects will be advanced in 2022, including 6,000 m of diamond drilling at its flagship Kliyul copper-gold project ("Kliyul") and 1,500 m of diamond drilling at the RDP copper-gold project ("RDP"). All of Pacific Ridge's copper-gold porphyry projects are located in northcentral B.C. (see Figure 1).

Highlights of the 2022 Exploration Program:

Kliyul: A planned 6,000 m diamond drill program - 2021 drilling returned 566.7 m of 0.20% Cu and 0.44 g/t Au, including 316.7 m of 0.30% Cu and 0.70 g/t Au (drill hole KLI-21-037);

RDP: A planned 1,500 m diamond drill program funded by Antofagasta Minerals S.A. ("Antofagasta"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Antofagasta PLC;
Chuchi copper-gold project ("Chuchi"): A planned ZTEM airborne geophysical survey followed by a geological mapping and sampling program, and re-logging historical drill core;
Onjo copper-gold project ("Onjo"): A planned ZTEM survey followed by a geological mapping and sampling program, and re-logging historical drill core;
Redton copper-gold project ("Redton"): Mapping, prospecting, and soil and rock geochemical sampling.

PACIFIC RIDGE CLOSES $7.4 MILLION FINANCING; SIZE OF DRILL PROGRAM AT KLIYUL COPPER-GOLD PROJECT TO BE INCREASED

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. has closed the previously announced best efforts brokered private placement with M Partners Inc. and Red Cloud Securities Inc., co-lead agents and joint book runners, and raised a total of $7,431,200 through the issuance of 19.15 million charity flow-through units at a price of 32.8 cents per CFT unit and five million common share units at a price of 23 cents per CS unit, including exercise in full of the agent's 15 per cent overallotment option.

Proceeds from the financing are intended to be used for a planned 6,000-metre diamond drill program at Pacific Ridge's flagship Kliyul copper-gold project, increased from a planned 5,000-metre diamond drill program, for exploration on the company's other projects and for general working capital.

"With the financing closed we are well positioned to execute the largest ever diamond drill program at the Kliyul copper-gold project," said Blaine Monaghan, president and chief executive officer of Pacific Ridge. "We look forward to following up on last year's results with the goal of expanding the mineralized footprint at the Kliyul Main zone laterally and to depth. In addition to further drilling at the Kliyul Main zone, we will also test the Kliyul West and Kliyul East targets, which have never been drilled.
