In der neuen Ausgabe vom Smallcap-Investor (http://www.smallcap-investor.de) werden wir ISON vorstellen. Was macht ISON ? Der neue Prozessor von AMD soll auf einem Isotop von Silizium basieren. ISON hat auf die Verwendung dieses Isotops mit Halbleitern die weltweiten Lizenzrechte.

Was wird passieren, wenn alle eine Firma, die an der Nasdaq gerade mal $22 Mio wert ist, das spezielle Material liefert, auf dem die Mikroprozessoren von AMD und vielleicht auch die von anderen grossen Hersteller basieren?
Ich weiss es nicht ganau, kann es aber erahnen

Weiterhin liefert ISON das Material für eine neue Bahandlungsmethode (Brachytherapie), die bei einigen Krebsarten (Prostata, und vielleicht auch Brust) in Zukunft massiv eingesetzt wird.

Wenn man hier auf WO nach ISON sucht findet man einen kleinen Thread über ISON in dem bereits das wichtigste drinsteht.
Ausserdem wurde intel bisher doch nicht öffentlich genannt.
Als weiterer Kunde ist nämlich auch Motorola oder IBM möglich.
Es wurde nur von einem weiteren führenden Prozessorhersteller gesprochen.
So long....

WIe liegen die Analystenschätzungen?
habe was von 0.6$/Share in 2002 gelesen....
bei einem Kurs von derzeit 2$ sehr günstig...
Umsatz könnte vielleicht auf das zehn bis hundertfache steigen....

Könntet ihr die WKN hier mal reinstellen, oder anders gefragt, handelt es sich um Isonics (464895101). Hört sich interessant an. Könntet ihr eure Infos über das Unternehmen und vielleicht ein paar Quellen nennen?

WKN bringt nichts, da in Deutschland nur alle paar Monate ein Handel ist da es sich um ein Winzunternehmen handelt.

Natürlich unentdeckt, Du siehst doch wie klein der Isonics-Thread bei WO ist...Die überwiegende Mehrzahl der Börsianer hat noch nie etwas von diesem Unternehmen gehört!

wenn zu so einem Kleinstunternehmen überhaupt schon ein Thread da ist ist das doch schon verblüffend würde ich da mal behaupten.
Umsatz von Isonics ist grademal 17 Millionen im Jahr....

Ich tippe in 4 Jahren wird dieser Umsatz jedoch eher so 500 Millionen betragen(kann zwar die Lage nicht so ganz eischätzen weil ich die Grösse des Marktes nicht so direkt kenne, aber möglich sind sogar noch weitaus mehr.

werde mir demnächst einfach mal so 2-3 Tausend Shares ins Depot legen und in 3 Jahren schauen ob sich der Wert ins astronomische bewegt hat.
Ist leider etwas umständlich da hier in D nicht gut handelbar....

unentdeckt wäre das Unternehmen, wenn AMDs Pläne geheim geblieben wären, aber so kamen sogar Meldungen in zahlreichen Newsseiten und vielen Hardwareseiten...

Jepp ist die richtige, aber guck dir jetzt mal die Umsätze an von den letzten Wochen

ganze 2 Transaktionen in 2 Monaten....

Aber vielleicht wächst demnächst der Umsatz stärker an und man kann dann auch in Deutschland kaufen....

Danke für die Infos. Hört sich ja wirklich atemberaubend an. Selbst wenn bloß zwei Marktsegmente versorgt werden, wäre das doch immernnoch phänomenal, gemessen an Bedarf und Umsatzmöglichkeiten.

Ich denke ernsthaft an ein längerfristiges Investment in dieses Unternehmen.

Unentdeckt in Relation zu den meisten hier diskutierten Unternehmen ist Isonics schon...Wenigstens beim Potenzial sind wir uns ja einig
Was mich nur verwundert, dass viele AMD-Aktionäre sich über den Vorteil für AMD unterhalten, aber gar nicht dafür interessieren, wer diesen Vorteil erst möglich macht. An deren Stelle hätte ich mal ein paar AMD-Shares in ISON getauscht

wie ist das mit dem verkauf ihres `zinc business` an eagle-picher zu verstehen?
eagle-picher hat sich verpflichtet 200kg silicon 28 im laufe des jahres 2000 zu liefern sind dem aber bis zum 10 oktober nicht nachgekommen.unerwartete probleme hieß es.sie wollen ihre verpflichtung aber erfüllen(sonst gibt`s ne reduction bei der warrant geschichte)
haben sie den nun mit der lieferung begonnen?

als flammender AMD-Verfechter finde ich es faszinierend, das
AMD einmal mehr (anscheinend) einen Weg gefunden, um Intel für
längere Zeit mit einfachen Mitteln im Zaume zu halten. :-)

Bei der Recherche zu dieser Technologie stieß ich auf dieses
Schätzchen ISONICS. Wie bei jeder neuen Investition, - betrachten
aus vielen Blickwinkeln -, sieht diese Aktie derzeit IMHO sehr
gut aus. Also nicht lange fackeln, ein paar AMD mußten `dran
glauben.

Nun kam mein langes Gesicht. Meine Bank erzählt mir, sie sei
derzeit nicht diese WKN zu bekommen. Jetzt bitte keine Frozzeleien
bzgl. meiner Bank, bitte. Es gibt Konstellationen, da muß mensch
und ich damit leben und (leider) damit umgehen.

@pasmus: Anscheinend gibt es gerade in letzter Zeit einigermaßen vernünftige Umsätze an der NASDAQ.

Also müßtest Du schon in Amerika ordern, wenn Du einen liquiden Handel wünschst - was anzunehmen ist, wenn Du nicht ewig warten und/oder abgezockt werden willst.

GOLDEN, CO, Dec 5, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Isonics Corporation (Nasdaq: ISON/ISONW) and (Frankfurt: IO9) provided the following regarding the Company`s recent stock activity.

Isonics` Chairman & CEO commented, "We believe the driver for the increase in activity of Isonics` common stock are discussions about Advanced Micro Devices` evaluation and use of Isonics` isotopically pure silicon-28 wafers. In the spirit of fair disclosure, we believe it is appropriate to comment and clarify the factual situation.

"In several instances we have stated that a major microprocessor manufacturer`s model has indicated that a 35(0)C peak temperature reduction could be achieved using a bulk silicon-28 wafer in place of a natural silicon wafer for a 1 GHz microprocessor. Other modeling leads us to believe that a substantial part of that temperature benefit could be obtained with a silicon-28 epitaxial layer on a natural silicon substrate.

Isonics Corporation Modifies Warrant Exchange Offer

GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 2000--Isonics Corporation (NASDAQ: ISON, ISONW; FRANKFURT: IO9) announced that due to market conditions which are remarkably different than when the Warrant Exchange Offer was declared effective, the Company has lowered, effective January 15, 2001, the exercise price of its Class B warrants (ISONX) to $1.50.

The Class B warrants can be obtained in exchange for Isonics Class A warrants (ISONW) which are still exercisable for $5.80 for one common share. Upon exercise of a Class B warrant, the warrant holder will receive a share and a Class C warrant (ISONY) which, effective January 15, 2001, will have an exercise price of $2.50 per share. At present no Class B or C warrants are outstanding, but are qualified for trading on the Nasdaq SmallCap market under the symbols indicated.

The Company further announced that it has made other changes to the Class B and Class C Warrants effective January 15, 2001 which will be incorporated into a post-effective amendment to its warrant exchange offer. These changes include, in addition to lowering the exercise prices, extending the term of the Class B and C warrants until December 31, 2005, reducing the threshold market price of the Isonics common stock necessary before Isonics can call the Class C warrants for redemption to $3.75 per share, and, effective May 1, 2001, adding a similar redemption provision to the Class B warrants.

Due to these changes, the existing registration statement and prospectus for the exchange and exercise of the Class A warrants, the Class B warrants, and the Class C warrants, is no longer effective. Holders of these warrants cannot exchange their Class A warrants or exercise any of the warrants. Isonics expects to file a post-effective amendment to this registration statement after the first of the year. Therefore, until this amendment becomes effective no person will be able to exchange or exercise their warrants. Any further offer to exchange or exercise outstanding warrants will only be made by an effective amendment to the existing registration statement and in accordance with applicable state law.

Isonics publicly traded Class A warrants are now exercisable at $5.80 until September 21, 2001 and may be redeemed by the Company for $0.10 per warrant if the common stock trades above $14.50 for 20 consecutive trading days. Any Class A warrant which is not exchanged by the termination of the exchange offer on April 30, 2001, will retain its original terms.

Isonics also announced that it raised $675,000 in working capital from several accredited investors in exchange for the issuance of 337,500 Units, each unit consisting of one share of common stock and two Class B warrants. Although these shares were issued as restricted shares, Isonics has undertaken to register these shares, the warrants, and the underlying common shares and Class C warrants on behalf of the holders. This offering was completed on December 13, 2000. Isonics may be required to issue the investors up to an additional 112,500 units depending on future market prices for Isonics common stock.
