      Nanophase Technologies Elects James Henderson to Board of Directors
      ROMEOVILLE, Ill., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Nanophase Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: NANX - news), a leader in nanomaterials and nanoengineered products, today announced that James A. Henderson, former chairman and CEO of Cummins Engine Company, has joined the Nanophase board of directors. Mr. Henderson`s addition to the board brings the total number of board directors to six, including five independent directors. Henderson joins a broadly experienced board consisting of Donald Perkins, Nanophase`s board chairman and retired chairman and CEO of Jewel Companies; Jerry Pearlman, retired chairman and CEO of Zenith Electronics; James McClung, senior vice president and corporate officer for FMC Corporation; Dr. Richard Siegel, co-founder of Nanophase and Head of the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; and Joseph Cross, Nanophase`s president and CEO.

      Henderson brings to the board over 35 years of global management experience with Cummins Engine where he became president and chief operating officer in 1977, chairman and CEO in 1995, and retired from active management in December 1999. Henderson serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Culver Educational Foundation; Director for Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART), Landmark Communications, International Paper, Rohm and Haas Company, Ryerson Tull, Inc., and SBC Communications; and is a Member of the Business Council in Washington, D.C.

      ich halte dies für ein sehr gutes Zeichen, Seitens der Firma. Die Verluste werden deutlich weniger und die Pipeline
      der Produkte ist in meinen Augen auch als sehr gut Positioniert einzuschätzen! NANX stellt für mich schon seit langer Zeit eine hervorragende Investition da, noch kennt die Aktie und die Produkte keiner, aber wehe wenn die Nanotechnologie mal entdeckt wird, was man im übrigen mittlerweile beachten kann, dass immer mehr über den Nano-Bereich geschrieben wird, ja dann wird die Aktie explodieren...
