erst mal gratuliere ich allen die wie ich schon von Anfang an mit dabei sind.
Jeder stellt sich nach dem phänomenalen Kuranstieg jetzt wohl die Frage wie es wohl weitergeht.

Unicom China to offer
their email Pager service to Unicom`s customers. Unicom is the only authorized telecommunications
service company in
China besides the MII. By early 2000, Unicom is projected to have 10% of China`s long distance market
and 30% of the
cellular market. Xin Hai`s e-mail to Pager and other Internet related products and services will be offered
to all of Unicom`s
over-400,000 subscribers.
Recent Events
December 23, 1999 - Xin Net has been accredited by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names
and Numbers) to
provide domain name registration services. This ICANN accreditation enables ChinaDNS to register
domain names in
the .com, .net and .org domains. Xin Net has recently signed more than one hundred agents to sell its
services in China,
including local telecom companies Beijing Telecom and Luo-Yang Telecom. Xin Net joins the 88 other
accredited
companies that were previously announced by ICANN (starting in April, 1999). Before April 1999,
registration services in
the .com, .net, and .org domains were provided solely by Network Solutions, Inc., under a 1992
Cooperative Agreement
with the U.S. Government. With this accreditation, Xin Net can charge for DNRs and remit to ICANN a
minimum amount
(currently US$14.00 per DNR), as opposed to US$45 to US$70 per DNR when they were not accredited
by ICANN.
The Company expects to meet the eligibility requirements by the S.E.C. for full Nasdaq listing (National
Market) by Spring
2000. XNET has approximately US$5MM in cash on hand and we expect that, following the exercise of
outstanding
warrants, the Company should have an additional US$40MM. As such, Xin Net should have sufficient
resources to carry
out an aggressive expansion plan during 2000.

January 3, 2000 - Xin Net has signed a Letter of Intent with Beijing San Jie Heng An Technology
Company Ltd. (San Jie),
a major computer and computer supplies distributor in the North China region and Guangdong Xin Na Te
Electronics
Company Ltd. (Xin Na Te). Xin Na Te is a major computer hardware distributor of monitors and optical
drives for the
South China region. Under the terms of the Letters of Intent, both San Jie and Xin Na Te will utilize Xin
Net (including
ChinaDNS and XinBid) as their exclusive Business to Business (B2B) e-Commerce platform and pay a
commission to
Xin Net for online sales, using online catalogue, ordering, transaction, inventory, and accounting, etc.
A Letter of Intent to acquire control of Future Computer Company Ltd. (Future) has also been signed.
Future is an
established systems integrator specializing in the retail sector. Based in Hainan, China, Future will bring
their expertise of
the China retail industry and existing business to the Company.
Market Potential
The Internet market in China is in its infancy. According to Dow Jones, China will be the world`s largest
economy in 15
years. Computer sales are increasing at approximately 50% per year (2.75 million units in 1998, 6.7
million by end of
1999).
The Opportunity. China is leading all other Asia Pacific countries in the number of Internet hookups,
according to the IDC
(International Data Corporation), an industry research firm. IDC expects that China will have about 3.7
million Internet
users (17% of the Internet population in the Asia Pacific region outside Japan) by the end of 1999, 7.2
million by next year
and 33 million at the end of 2004 (35% of the region`s total online users). China`s Internet user base will
be growing at an
annual rate of nearly 60% over the next five years, when ISP and related services will represent a US$4
billion market,
according to BDA China and The Strategis Group. Each new user that comes online in China creates
new opportunities
for Internet-related business - e-commerce, portals, hosting, DNRs, etc.

On March 1, 1999, the MII announced a 50% reduction in Internet access fees, a 20% cut in
international phone charges to
many parts of the world and a 70% reduction in the cost of domestic telephone line installation for some
urban residences,
as well as free installation of a second phone line. This has created a huge surge in demand for Internet
access, and
introduced the concept of e-commerce to a country with so much to gain from advertising to the world.

Barriers To Entry
The Chinese government controls all licensing and pricing for ISPs. The barrier to obtaining an Internet
license (ISP
license) is still substantial for new entrants. It is critical for Xin Hai to build up its subscriber base before
any changes to
government policy occur that may reduce the barriers to entry.
China and the WTO - On November 15, 1999, China and the United States reached an agreement
concerning China`s
entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO), 13 years after China first bid for entry into the General
Agreement on
Tariffs and Trade (GATT), the forerunner to the WTO. Entry into the WTO is a big gamble for China, and
should be viewed
by foreigners not only as a significant opportunity, but also as a work in progress. In a country where
economic reforms are
tied so tightly with democratizing politics, we should expect continued volatility.

China`s Internet market will not be fully open to foreign investors even after China gains entry into the
World Trade
Organization (WTO). As such, approvals for foreign investment will still be done on a case-by-case
basis. Many issues still
remain, for example:

how approvals will be granted
what foreign-invested Internet businesses will be able to operate in China
which Chinese Internet businesses will allow foreign investment.
At the end of the day, any foreign Internet investment in China will be factored into China`s long term
economic and
political interest. Foreign companies still need to partner with a Chinese company who will need to abide
by local rules.
ISPs are tightly controlled, especially those providing international gateway services.
Bottom Line
Foreign companies, with no established Chinese partner, are expected to be barred from investment in
ISPs even after
China enters WTO because the central government wants to control the inflow of information from
abroad. XNET is one of
only a handful of ISPs with established relationships in China, which poses a significant regulatory
barrier for competition.
Given the tremendous Internet potential in China, the gradual removal of regulatory barriers and Xin Net`s
early entry and
established foothold in the country, we believe that XNET could become one of the premiere Internet
success stories in

Was sind die wichtigsten Punkte:
1)Xnet hat jetzt 68000 Subscriber, wenn ihr Euch die zahlen der letzten Monate anschaut, seht Ihr die
wachstumsdynamik wird immer schneller !
Marc Hung (CEO von Xnet) hat mir mitgeteilt, daß ende 2000 200000 Subscriber erreicht werden sollten.
Ich halte das für sehr konservativ, da die Zahl der Agenten weiter steigen wird. Desweiteren können neue
Vertriebskanäle durch die neuen Bündnisse (Meldung vom 3.01.00) genutzt werden, weitere kommen
sicher bald hinzu.auch werden sicher bald neue Büros eröffnet werden, d.h der Absatzmarkt wird immer
größer. Meiner Meinung nach wird Xnet ende 00 mind. 300000 Subscriber haben
2)Xnet ist der absolute Marktführer bei DNS in China (..nearly 1/3 of all DNRs in China over the past two
years). Xnet ist somit der Vorreiter auf dem Gebiet. Wer Vorlesungen in BWL genossen hat, weiß was
das heißt( First-Follower Prinzip). D.h, der Marktführer wird sich immer durchsetzten, weil er die meiste
Erfahrung und die meisten Kompetenzen in seinem Bereich hat.
Die Wachstumsraten in diesem Bereich sind bei Xnet gigantisch: Sept.3000, Okt.8000, Nov. 13000, Dez. 20000, und das Wachstum wird noch um einiges zunehmen (durch neue Agenten, durch mehr Marketing, durch das allg. Wachstum)
In der Empfehlung ist noch ein ganz entscheidender Punkt: Xnet kann durch die Akkreditation von ICANN seine Kosten von 45-75$ auf 14$ pro DNR senken. Was das bedeutet brauche sicher nicht zu erläutern.
3) Xnet wird 00 aggressiv expandieren. 5 Mio$ Cash und weiter 35 Mio. $ durch ausstehende Optionen werden dies sicher ermöglichen.
Klar, es wird damit der free float verwässert, dies sollte aber durch das rasante Wachstum kompensiert werden.
4) Xnet hat Sehr gute Kontakte zu großen Institutionen: Bank of China, Beijing Post Office, 3 größte Telefongesellschaft Chinas Ji Tong, MII (Ministry of Information Industry ), Bejing Administration Bureau, Unicom China (neben MII die einzige autorisierte Telekomunikations-Service Firma). Allein Unicom hat 400000 Subscriber !!!!!
Diese Kontakte helfen Xnet sicher die gewünschten 10% Marktanteil in China zu erreichen.
4) Xin Hai und ChinaDNS sind in China etabliert-ausländische Investoren werden Zeit und Geld brauchen um den gleichen Standard zu erreichen. Je länger die brauchen desto stärker wird die Position von Xnet !
5) Xnet wird immer bekannter und wird im Frühjahr an die Nasdaq gehen. (Ohne Worte)
6) Xnet ist durch seine super Marktstellung in China auch ein potentieller Übernahmekandidat für die Internet Blue Chips. Wenn das Rennen in China losgeht ist nichts unmöglich !
7) Der Einstieg ins E-Commerce Geschäft (Meldung vom 4.1), vor allem im Computer-Segment, wird bald ein Renner werden. China hat in Sachen Computer-Equipment ein riesiges Nachholpotential.
8) Xnet hat sehr gute Kontakte zu IBM und Microsoft ( Xnet ist Microsoft-Solution-Provider)
9) Marc Hung hat mir geschrieben, daß man 00 den Auctionsbereich drastisch ausbauen will ! (Ohne Worte)

Alles in allem ist Xnet Wachstum pur. Klar der rasante Kursanstieg verleitet einem zum Ausstieg (habe selbst bei 0,9$ gekauft). Doch wenn man sich die Perspektiven verdeutlicht könnte das erst der Anfang eines unaufhaltsamen Kursanstiegs werden. Korrekturen sind dabei ganz normal !
Also Leute ich bleibe drin, da ich von dem Wert voll überzeugt bin. Ich will endlich mal von Anfang an dabei sein-wie seinerzeit einige bei AOL , Yahoo, etc.

Hi Diridari,
danke für die Groome-Empfehlung.
Ich war bis jetzt zu faul mich dort anzumelden.

Dein "kleiner Analyseversuch" zeigt,
daß auch ein derartig rasanter Kursanstieg,
nur vorweggenommene Fantasie sein brauch
und nicht unbedingt eine grenzenlose Übertreibung darstellen muß(long gesehen).

Mir wäre allerdings ein gemäßigterer Anstieg lieber.

Bin leider erst bei 2,43$ mit geringem Einsatz eingestiegen, da ich noch CMGi, DCLK und PCNTF auf meinem Wunschzettel hatte.
Nachkaufen um die 1$ Marke hatte ich dann leider auch verpaßt, da war mir wieder IMLA wichtiger.
Aber wer wird denn weinen, man kann halt nicht alles haben.

Ohh ja, das tut weh!
Vor 2 tagen habe ich mich noch tot gelacht als im RB solche Kursziele hochgehalten wurden.

Jetzt bleibt nur noch die Frage.
Wann Konsolidieren wir und wie stark wird diese ausfallen.
Ich hatte ja auf die 6$ Marke spekuliert, hoffe jetzt aber nichtmehr, daß dort die Konsolidierung stattfindet.
Langsam wirds aber mal Zeit.

Ich besitze nur !nur! 1654 Stück. Nagut ist doch auch schon was, oder?
Bin mit allen Aktien draußen.
Werde auf jeden Fall wieder in eine Aktie investieren, die ihr Geschäftsfeld in China hat.
Habt ihr Tips?
Habe mir schon Timeless,Pinetech. und CASH angesehen. Ich glaube ich brauche den Thrill.

Habe aber zur Zeit dort noch keine Werte im Auge, da erst heute gelesen und außerdem mit 100% in Unternehmen investiert, die ich nicht so gerne verkaufen möchte.

du hast ja Nerven! Ich wünsche dir viele $$$$$. So was muß belohnt werden. Da ich verkauft habe möchte ich in diesem Thread nichts mehr reinschreiben, da ich mich sonst dumm und bescheuert ärgere.

Wäre nett wenn du dort auch ein paar Ergebnisse besteuern könntest. Das Geld muß schließlich neu investiert werden.

Bin halt so`n kleiner Boarderliner.
"Himmelhochjauchzent" und "Zutodebetrübt" sind mir die liebsten Zustände. Leider erlaubt mir mein noch recht kleines Depot nicht, dies voll auszukosten. Aber das kommt noch!
BTW, hatte ich das Geld in XNet nach delisting in D eh` schon abgeschrieben

Im Moment tritt uns gerad jemand in den Hintern.
Aber Intraday-Schwankungen von 60%,65%,70%...!
Macht das nicht den Reiz aus.
...und schon gehen wir ins Minus.
Ich hoffe, Du hast noch über den 20$ verkaufen können!
...mal sehen wie weit wir fallen.
So wie sie im RB auf halten gedrängt haben, war das ja egentlich schon abzusehen.

Ich schau mal, ob ich zu Deinen China-Thread etwas beisteuern kann.

Ich kann es halt nicht lassen. Ich habe zu glatt zu $16 verkauft. Ich muß gestehen das ich schon zu Handelsbeginn verkauft habe. Mich wieder über die Chance auf weitere DM12.000 geärgert, da ich nicht zu $20 verkauft habe. Aber jetzt bin ich froh, man schaft halt nie den richtigen Absprung. Ich bin aber überzeugt, dass XNET seinen Weg macht, also nicht nervös werden.

Sehen wir die von mir herbeigesehnte Kosolidierung bei 6$ doch noch! *g*
Ist ja schon recht ruhig hier geworden. Aber wer jetzt noch drin ist darf nicht jammern.
Jeder der unter unter 5$ eingestiegen ist, macht sich doch jetzt Gedanken, ob er jetzt verkaufen soll. Und wenn einer erstmal anfängt...
Ups! von -30% auf -10%. ie ersten kaufen schon wieder.
Da flog gerade so`n Armer an mir vorbei, mit einem ask von 20,125 und bekam ein bid von 10. Tja, so kanns passieren, wenn man mit schwimmt.
