A$ im Jahr?

      Gold to surpass $800: survey

By WENDY STUECK, Globe and Mail

Strong investment demand will continue to drive gold prices to new highs this year and could see the precious metal surge past the $800 (U.S.) an ounce mark, consulting firm GFMS Ltd. said Wednesday in an annual survey of the gold sector.

“Levels safely over $600 are now in our sights and further hefty gains over the next year or two are quite possible,” GFMS spokesman Philip Klapwijk said in a summary of the survey's findings. “In the right circumstances, the 1980 high of $850 could even be taken out.”

This year's bull run will be overwhelmingly driven by investment demand, the firm said, propelled by some of the same factors that helped push gold prices higher last year, including the high probability of a sharp slowdown in U.S. economic growth and a slide in the dollar.

Inflation worries and political tensions could also help fuel investment demand this year, London-based GFMS said, as well as the potential flood of new money, such as pension fund capital, into gold and other commodities.

“We'd only need to see a tiny slice of mainstream assets diverted into gold, which comparatively is a pretty small market, and the price could really take off,” Mr. Klapwijk said.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange Wednesday, gold for June delivery was up $1.10 to $600.50. Gold for immediate delivery rose $1.53, or 0.3 per cent, to $594.95 an ounce at 9:24 a.m. in London.

The survey said the gold price would be comfortably over the $600 mark before the end of 2006 — a level it has already reached — and has the potential to reach a new all time high in the longer term.

The survey said sales from central banks, or official sector sales, jumped by 40 per cent to record levels in 2005. Much of that increase was the result of sales by countries that are signatories to Central Bank Gold Agreement, GFMS said, and put downward pressure on the gold price in the first quarter of 2005.

In the second half of the year, however, some central bank officials made comments emphasizing the importance of gold as a reserve asset, GFMS said.

“Overall, the apparent ‘anti-gold' sentiment within the official sector community that had grown during the 1990s seemed to be moderating, if not fading away,” GFMS said, which supported the price rally in the fourth quarter.

Mined gold production increased by a modest two per cent last year, the survey said. Globally, mining costs rose by 7 per cent, reflecting increased costs for fuel, cyanide used in gold processing and jumbo tires. On a regional basis, North America experienced the greatest rise in costs, with costs in Canada climbing by 19 per cent and in the U.S. by 11 per cent. Costs in South Africa and Australia rose by smaller amount, but those two countries remain the highest-cost countries for gold producers.

South African gold production in 2005 sank to its lowest level in 82 years, the firm said, reflecting mines that had been closed as a result of rising costs in the country.

Schauen wir mal was St. Andrews uns bringt. Heute schon mal kein schlechter Anfang.

      Kannst du hier weiterhelfen?

Also wie mein Lehrer immer pflegte zu sagte:

St Andrew Announces Closing the Acquisition of the Aquarius Gold Property From Kinross Gold

Wednesday May 10, 4:57 pm ET

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - May 10, 2006) - St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX:SAS - News; "St Andrew") is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition from Kinross Gold Corporation ("Kinross") (TSX-K, NYSE-KGC) of the Aquarius Property and gold deposit, located 7 kilometres from St Andrew's Stock Gold Complex near Timmins, Ontario in return for an approximate 12% common share ownership in St Andrew

St Andrew acquired the Aquarius Property, associated plant, infrastructure and equipment from Kinross in exchange for 100 million St Andrew common shares and 25 million warrants with an exercise price of 17 cents per share and a 24 month term. St Andrew has posted satisfactory financial assurance bonding in relation to the reclamation and closure liabilities associated with the Aquarius Property.

Aquarius Deposit as part of the Stock Gold Complex

The Aquarius Property is strategically located to the Stock Gold Complex facilities, near Timmins, Ontario. St Andrew has identified certain synergies that may be realized on integration of the Aquarius gold deposit into St Andrew's existing operations.

Kinross had reported probable gold reserves at the Aquarius Property of 1,042,000 ounces, consisting of 15,017,000 tonnes at a grade of 2.16 grams per tonne at an assumed gold price of US$325 per ounce in its 2004 reserve table. St Andrew has 521,000 ounces of indicated resources and 353,000 ounces of inferred resources at its Stock Gold Complex and the acquisition of the probable gold reserves from the Aquarius Property will result in a significant increase in the total gold reserve and resource base available for treatment through the Stock Gold Complex.

St Andrew has completed a conceptual plan of integrating the proposed Aquarius mining and milling operations into the existing Stock Gold Complex operations. This conceptual plan is based on a combined underground and open pit mining and milling operation of 9,000 tonnes per day, which consists of the existing St Andrew Stock gold mill capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day of underground ore from the Clavos and Taylor deposits combined with the Aquarius open pit production of 7,500 tonnes per day.

St Andrew (TSX:SAS - News) is a gold mining and exploration company with gold production planned from its Stock Gold Complex, Timmins, Ontario and Nixon Fork Gold Mine, Alaska. The company controls a large land position in the Timmins Mining Camp and holds an extensive land position at Eskay Creek in northern British Columbia.

      Beachtung findet.

St Andrew Announces First Quarter 2006 Operating and Financial Results

St Andrew Goldfields ("St Andrew" or the "Company"), (TSX:SAS) is pleased to report the First Quarter 2006 Operating and Financial Results and to update its Development and Exploration Activities for the Three Month Period Ended March 31, 2006 (Q1/2006).

      Result of Operations

St Andrew commenced gold production from the Stock Gold Complex near Timmins at the beginning of January, 2006.

Gold production from the Clavos Mine is being steadily increased as additional working faces are made available, working levels are developed and the mine crews increase their understanding of the nature and configuration of the Clavos ore shoots. The majority of the mining activity during the quarter was focused on underground development and the building up of the level of stoping operations.

A total of 22,517 tonnes of ore were milled during the quarter and 6,006 ounces of gold were sold. Gold production is expected to increase throughout the year towards the forecast 2006 annual production of 40,000 from the Clavos Mine.

      Stock Gold Complex

      Clavos Mine

The Clavos mine delivered 22,517 tonnes to the Stock Gold mill during the quarter. The grade of ore mined from the stoping areas was 5.9 grams per tonne (g/t). 35% of the mill feed was "development muck" blended with the mined ore leading to a lower grade milled ore of 5.0 g/t. The implementation of a suitable stoping method of either long hole stoping or shrinkage stoping or a combination of both was tested during the quarter depending on the nature and configuration of the Clavos ore body. The availability of suitably experienced mining personnel also has an influence on the type of mining method implemented.

      Operating Statistics

      Three Months Ended

      March 31, 2006

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Tonnes Mined 27,255

Sill and access development meters 648

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Underground Diamond drilling (meters) 4714

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Clavos Mine operating plan for the 2nd Quarter 2006 will focus on the continued development of new stopes and working faces, the development of the Main Decline Ramp and internal ramps to access additional stoping areas and increased tonnes milled at the Stock Gold Mill. Testing of the most suitable mining method to achieve a balance between dilution and production volumes in relation to the nature and configuration of the Clavos ore body will continue. It is expected that the grade of the processed ore will still be affected by the greater volume of "development muck" that is generated during the period of production build up.

St Andrew continues to pursue an aggressive underground drilling program at the Clavos Mine. At any one time there are 2 diamond drills delineating the ore shoots ahead of development and exploring for new areas of mineralization both at depth and along strike.

      Taylor Mine Advanced Exploration Project

At the Taylor Mine Advanced Exploration Project work continued on the construction of the surface infrastructure and the excavation of the box cut to access the starting position in "competent ground" for the Taylor Decline Ramp. It is forecast that development of the Taylor Decline Ramp will commence in the third quarter of 2006, subject to posting of the reclamation surety bond.

      Nixon Fork Gold Mine, Alaska

During the Quarter the Company received the State and Federal permits necessary to recommence mining activities at the Nixon Fork Gold Mine. Modifications will take place on the existing mill to allow for treatment of both new ore and existing tailings from the previous operations by an enhanced gravity, flotation and cyanide leach process. In addition mine development activities are expected to begin in early summer. Mine and mill production is expected to begin in late summer at a rate of approximately 150 tonnes per day. Gold production of approximately 20,000 ounces is planned for 2006. When in full production, the mine is expected to employ approximately 50 individuals and produce approximately 45,000 ounces of gold per year.

A resource estimate by Roscoe Postle Associates, Inc. of Toronto and Vancouver, Canada in April, 2005 estimated the Measured and Indicated Resource at Nixon Fork at 91,400 tonnes grading 1.1 ounce per tonne or containing 100,300 ounces of gold. An additional 151,000 tonnes grading 0.4 ounce per tonne or 61,400 ounces of gold were classified as an Inferred Resource. This inferred resource includes approximately 116,000 tonnes of tailings from previous operations grading 0.26 ounces per tonne which the company expects to reprocess in the summer of 2007 and 2008 using the cyanide leach process being installed.

      Exploration

      East Timmins

At the East Timmins exploration program a total of 4,988 meters of diamond drilling was carried out to test exploration drill targets that had been developed in conjunction with Geoinformatics Exploration Inc. None of the targets produced any gold mineralization of note. It is planned to drill test further targets in the next quarter.

      Nixon Fork Gold Mine

At Nixon Fork Gold Mine exploration drilling tested the Warrior Targets by drilling nine (9) holes totaling approximately 775 metres. Assay results are pending.

      Total Cash Operating costs (US$/ounce) $ 710

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Working capital (deficiency) ($ millions) $ (8.5)

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------

St Andrew's net loss for the three months ended March 31, 2006 totaled $3,322,495 (2005 - $2,048,937) being a loss of $0.005 per share (2005 - $0.005 per share). Included in this loss is a future income tax recovery amount of $3,687,278 (2005 - $5,038,502), which was recorded and charged to share issue costs. The amount represents the tax benefit related to the renunciation of tax deductions to flow-through shares of $10,806,794 issued during 2005 for St Andrew.

Revenue for the first quarter of 2006 was $3,843,994 generated from gold sales from the Stock Gold Complex. Sales volume for the period was 6,006 ounces. The average gold price realized for the period was CDN$641.

For the quarter ending March 31, 2006, total mine and milling operating costs were $7,621,091. There are no comparable costs because this is the first quarter of gold production. The mine and milling costs include both development and operation costs for the quarter. It is the policy of St Andrew to write off as incurred, all development and exploration expenditures.

St Andrew (TSX.SAS) is a gold mining and exploration company with gold production from its Stock Gold Complex, Timmins, Ontario and planned in the second half of 2006 from its Nixon Fork Gold Mine, Alaska. The company controls a large land position in the Timmins Mining Camp and holds an extensive land position at Eskay Creek in northern British Columbia.

      Hallo SAS Gemeinde,

http://www.sedar.com/GetFile.do?lang=EN&docClass=2&issuerNo=… Für mich zum staunen! Toll! :lick:

      Management said:
      1. dont worry we wont roll it back before production ramps up;
      2. dont worry we are mining like crazy;
      3. dont worry we will keep you informed;
      4. Oh yes didn't we say that we will be producing like crazy from Nixon and from the Timmins mines;
      5. Of course we respect our shareholders;
      6. Why even question whether we are loyal to shareholders;
      7. No we run this with shareholders top of mind.

History is repeating itself. I dont trust them and they have shown that over and over.
Now to find the right time to let others share in this great opportunity and to do this without losing everything.

Thank you Lang, thank you management, thank you investor relations and oh yes, I want to thank all the cheerleaders who posted all the wonderful news on this great opportunity to invest hard earned money. I hope that everyone here makes off like bandits. SAS will shine, SAS will make money, but at what price to existing shareholders?

Hopefully I will not be a shareholder when you make the big money that is out there someplace.

Should be an interesting annual meeting (if any shareholders show up)

best wishes to all and good luck on this rollercoaster of a ride.

St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX:SAS) ("St Andrew") is pleased to announce a planned 1 for 20 share consolidation and plans for a $20 million financing for future developments and working capital.

      Share Consolidation

A resolution proposing the consolidation of its currently issued and outstanding common shares on the basis of 1 new common share for each existing 20 common shares will be placed before St Andrew shareholders at the Annual and Special Meeting to be held on June 14, 2006. Based on the existing approximately 813 million common shares outstanding, after the proposed consolidation, St Andrew will have approximately 40.7 million common shares outstanding. It is believed that the new capitalization will bring the company more in line with its peer group and make the share price more attractive to institutional and other investors.

      Financing Plans

St Andrew is considering a number of financing alternatives to raise approximately $20 million to fund future developments and working capital. The use of proceeds for these funds will be for the development of the Nixon Fork Gold Mine (production is planned in Q3, 2006), the investigation and exploration of the open pit potential of the Hislop Mine at the Stock Gold Complex, near Timmins, additional subscriptions for shares of Glass Earth Limited, the engineering and updating of the feasibility study of the Aquarius Deposit at the Stock Gold Complex, near Timmins, some of which expenses have been pre-funded through the interim financing referred to below.

      Interim Financing Arrangements

St Andrew has arranged interim financing by way of a $9 million demand loan from a related party. The interim funds have been applied to the reclamation bonding, equipment and gold mill upgrade activities at the Nixon Fork Gold Mine, subscription for additional Glass Earth shares, preliminary engineering and exploration drilling at the Hislop Mine open pit project.

It is planned to repay the loan from the proceeds of the $20 million financing. Subject to regulatory approval, the related party has indicated a willingness to participate in the proposed financing to the extent of the loan.

St Andrew (TSX:SAS) is a gold mining and exploration company with gold production operations at its Stock Gold Complex, Timmins, Ontario and Nixon Fork Gold Mine, Alaska. The company controls a very large land position in the Timmins Mining Camp, an extensive land position at Eskay Creek in northern British Columbia and land positions around Nixon Fork in the Kuskokwim - Tintina Mining Camp in Alaska. Gold.getfast.info posted that gold prices continue to climb as analysts of the gold market believe it offers better returns than shares and bonds. Gold for June delivery was up $18.20, or 2.9% at $654.50 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). The gold market has not seen gold prices at this level since 1981.

They also state in their article that a "vulnerable U.S. dollar and the potential of conflict with Iran are factors fueling this latest rise in gold prices. Many gold market analysts disagree as to whether or not investing in gold is wise. The nay sayers have been saying gold investing was outdated and should no longer exist in our global financial markets. If you have been investing in gold the past year, good thing you did not listen to them.

Gold.getfast.info ends their article by saying, "there is always an analyst preaching doom for a particular market. But smart investors are able to anticipate when a market such as gold is about to change, and savvy investors take advantage of gold during times like this. You have not missed the opportunity to take advantage of the current gold market. Investing can be risky, but if you have performed your research, looked at the simple supply and demand, then the gold market might pay excellent returns, make your own decision."

St Andrew Announces Appointment of Mine Manager and Production Plans For Nixon Fork Mine, Alaska
      6/8/2006

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, Jun 08, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX: SAS) ("St Andrew") is pleased to announce the recent appointment of William J. Burnett as Mine Manager of its Nixon Fork gold mine in Alaska and provide its plans to begin gold production in the third quarter of 2006.

      Mine Manager

William ("Bill") J. Burnett has been appointed Mine Manger for the Nixon Fork gold mine located approximately 35 miles northeast of McGrath in west central Alaska. Mr. Burnett has been employed by St Andrew's subsidiary, Mystery Creek Resources, Inc., as its Exploration Manger since early 2003. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Master of Science degree in Economic Geology. Mr. Burnett has worked in various exploration, development and operating projects in Colorado, Nevada, and Alaska since 1988. He worked as both Mine Geologist and Chief Geologist at the Nixon Fork Mine from 1995 through 1999. Most recently he managed a 28,000 metre, multi-year surface and underground exploration program to extend the resource base of the Nixon Fork property. Mr. Burnett is married with one child and resides in Wasilla, Alaska.

      Production Plans

St Andrew recently received the state and federal permits necessary to recommence mining activities at the Nixon Fork gold mine. Modifications are taking place on the existing mill to allow for treatment of both new ore and existing tailings from the previous operations by an enhanced gravity, flotation and cyanide leach process. In addition mine development activities are expected to commence in early summer. Mine and mill production is expected to commence in Q3, 2006 at a rate of approximately 150 tonnes per day. Gold production of approximately 15,000 ounces is planned for 2006. When in full production, the Nixon Fork gold mine is expected to employ approximately 45 individuals and produce approximately 45,000 ounces of gold per year.

This inferred resource includes approximately 116,000 tonnes of tailings from previous operations grading 0.26 ounces per tonne which St Andrew expects to reprocess in the summer of 2007 and 2008 using the cyanide leach process being installed.

St Andrew (TSX: SAS) is a gold mining and exploration company with gold production planned from its Stock Gold Complex, Timmins, Ontario and Nixon Fork gold mine, Alaska. St Andrew controls a large land position in the Timmins mining camp and holds an extensive land position at Eskay Creek in northern British Columbia. St Andrew holds an approximate 16.7% interest in Glass Earth Limited, a New Zealand-based gold exploration company.

      ST. ANDREW GOLDFIELDS
St Andrew Increases Interest to Approximately 34% in New Zealand Based Explorer Glass Earth Limited
      6/13/2006

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, Jun 13, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX: SAS) ("St Andrew") wishes to announce that it has increased its interest in Glass Earth Limited (TSX VENTURE: GEL) ("Glass Earth") to approximately 34% through the purchase of 15.75 million Glass Earth common shares in four (4) separate private share exchange transactions with existing Glass Earth shareholders. For each Glass Earth common share, St Andrew issued 1.5 St Andrew common shares, for a total issuance of 23,627,000 St Andrew common shares.

These purchases are part of St Andrew's strategy of obtaining a presence in one of the world's more prospective gold mining and gold exploration regions described below.

St Andrew acquired the shares for investment purposes, and depending on market conditions and other factors, may increase or decrease its holdings in Glass Earth.

      Glass Earth Company Profile

Glass Earth is one of the largest New Zealand based gold exploration companies, exploring a land position of over 33,175 square kilometres in the North and South Islands.

      North Island

In the North Island exploration efforts are focussed on the Coromandel/Central Volcanic Region. The Coromandel/Central Volcanic Region is host to the 10 million ounce Waihi/ Martha Hill Mine, owned by Newmont Mining, which is considered the "type" epithermal gold deposit and the kind of large epithermal gold deposit targeted by Glass Earth.

      - Glass Earth has defined and delineated a total of 21 priority individual target areas that could potentially host large deposits of Martha Mine "look-a-like" epithermal gold mineralization. These target areas are subject to exploration permits. Drill ready targets have been generated in these areas and drilling has commenced;

      - Glass Earth has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with Newmont Waihi Mining for Newmont to fund the exploration of one of these targets in the Waihi West area adjacent to Newmont's Waihi / Martha Mine Operation; and

      - Glass Earth intends to explore the Hauraki Region Exploration and Prospecting Permits that were acquired as part of the HPD New Zealand transaction.

      South Island

In the South Island exploration efforts are focussed on the Otago Region for mesothermal "Macraes-style" gold targets.

St Andrew (TSX: SAS) is a gold mining and exploration company with gold production operations at its Stock Gold Complex, Timmins, Ontario and Nixon Fork Gold Mine, Alaska. The company controls a very large land position in the Timmins Mining Camp, an extensive land position at Eskay Creek in northern British Columbia and land positions around Nixon Fork in the Kuskokwim - Tintina Mining Camp in Alaska. The Company also holds an interest in the New Zealand based gold explorer Glass Earth.

As a result of its preparatory process, St Andrew has secured support from leading fund managers Eric Sprott (the eponymous firm), Frank Holmes (US Global) and John Embry (RBC). Fully funded and in the process of bedding down a three-way rationalisation, the company is preparing to pull the trigger on its near-term production strategy while its longer term exploration ambitions continue to unfold.

St Andrew Acquiring Additional 14% Interest In New Zealand Based Explorer Glass Earth Limited

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 06, 2006 -- St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX: SAS) ("St Andrew") wishes to announce that it has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement pursuant to which it will increase its interest in Glass Earth Limited (TSX VENTURE: GEL) by a further 14% to approximately 48.3%, through the acquisition of 12,665,000 common shares of Glass Earth from Patagonia Gold plc (AIM: PGD).

Pursuant to the Sale and Purchase Agreement with Patagonia Gold plc, St Andrew will acquire 12,665,000 common shares and 6,332,500 share purchase warrants with a strike price of $0.25 for a period of 24 months from the date of grant, for total cash consideration of $1,899,750. It is anticipated that this transaction will close on or about July 31, 2006.

This additional 14% interest will increase St Andrew's strategic investment in Glass Earth Limited to approximately 48.3% of the outstanding common shares of Glass Earth Limited and is part of St Andrew's strategy of obtaining a presence in one of the world's more prospective gold mining and gold exploration regions described below.

St Andrew is acquiring the securities for investment purposes and depending on market conditions and other factors may increase or decrease its holdings in Glass Earth Limited in the future.

      Glass Earth Company Profile

Glass Earth is one of the largest New Zealand based gold exploration companies exploring a land position of over 33,175 square kilometres in the North and South Islands.

      North Island

In the North Island exploration efforts are focussed on the Coromandel/Central Volcanic Region. The Coromandel/Central Volcanic Region is host to the 10 million ounce Waihi / Martha Hill Mine, owned by Newmont Mining, which is considered the "type" epithermal gold deposit and the kind of large epithermal gold deposit targeted by Glass Earth:

      - Glass Earth has defined and delineated a total of 21 priority individual target areas that could potentially host large deposits of Martha Mine "look-a-like" epithermal gold mineralization. These target areas have been covered by exploration permits. Drill ready targets have been generated in these areas and drilling has commenced;

The company controls a large land position in the Timmins Mining Camp, an extensive land position at Eskay Creek in northern British Columbia and land positions around Nixon Fork in the Kuskokwim - Tintina Mining Camp in Alaska. The Company also holds an interest in the New Zealand based gold explorer Glass Earth Limited.

St Andrew to Acquire Holloway-Holt Gold Mining and Exploration Assets From Newmont
      9/18/2006

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, Sep 18, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX: SAS)("St Andrew") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a definitive purchase agreement with Newmont Canada Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation ("Newmont"), to acquire all of the shares of its subsidiary Holloway Mining Company ("HMC") which owns the Holloway-Holt gold mining and exploration assets located in the Timmins Mining Camp and adjacent to and contiguous with St Andrew's East Timmins Golden Reward exploration properties ("Golden Reward Properties") for a consideration of US$40 million plus NSR royalties. Newmont ceased mining on April 28, 2006 and the Holloway-Holt mine has been on care and maintenance since that date while Newmont executed a sale process for these assets.

Pursuant to the purchase agreement St Andrew will acquire all of the shares of HMC, which owns the Holloway-Holt gold mining and exploration assets comprising the Holloway and Holt McDermott gold mines, with associated plant, infrastructure and equipment, a gold resource base (measured, indicated and inferred categories) of approximately 1.23 million ounces, and approximately 36,000 acres of exploration properties. The consideration will be US$40 million plus a NSR royalty (the "Holloway-Holt Royalty") on the existing HMC resources and exploration assets. The Holloway-Holt Royalty will vary according to a schedule depending on the prevailing gold price. Newmont will also receive a 1% NSR royalty on any production from the St Andrew Golden Reward Properties and gold production from the Stock Gold Complex. The transaction is expected to close on October 31, 2006.

Holloway-Holt Gold Mining and Exploration Assets as Part of St Andrew's Consolidation of the Timmins Mining Camp and Development Strategy.

The Holloway-Holt gold mining and exploration assets are strategically located to the St Andrew East Timmins Golden Reward Properties and near the Stock Gold Complex facilities in the Timmins Mining Camp, Ontario. The acquisition represents an important step by St Andrew to further consolidate the Timmins Mining Camp (see attached map showing the consolidated East Timmins land position post closing); to increase St Andrew's gold production profile by 75,000 to 100,000 ounces of gold per annum; to significantly increase the total gold reserve and resource base of St Andrew and to continue St Andrew's strategy to become a mid-tier gold producer and exploration company over the next 4 years.

The major components of the Holloway-Holt gold mining and exploration assets are as follows:

      - A total gold resource of approximately 1,233,000 ounces based on a Roscoe Postle Associates ("RPA") 43-101 Technical Report dated June 2, 2006 which determined a measured plus indicated resource of 4 million tonnes grading 7.4 grams gold per tonne for 963,000 ounces contained gold and an inferred resource of 1.2 million tonnes grading 7.3 grams gold per tonne for 270,000 ounces of contained gold.

      - The Holloway Mine facilities comprising two head frames, complete with hoist rooms and hoists, a compressor building and compressors, an automatic surface cemented backfill mixing system, an office complex, a warehouse and shop buildings, two vertical shafts 867 meters and 441 meters deep respectively, underground ventilation and heating systems, surface and underground electrical reticulation systems, a communication system for the underground mine, shafts and surface facilities and a dewatering system.

      - The Holt Mine (previously Holt-McDermott) facilities including a gold mill with a throughput capacity of 3,000 tons per day, a head frame complete with a hoist room and hoists, a compressor building with compressors, a surface backfill plant, an office complex, a warehouse and shop buildings, underground facilities including a 1,195 meter deep shaft, ventilation and heating facilities, an underground jaw crusher and dewatering systems.

      - 36,000 acres of exploration properties including five exploration prospects targeted for immediate follow up.

Glenn Laing, CEO of St Andrew, stated: "We are very excited about this acquisition. It will complete another step in our strategy. I believe that with our restructured management we have the capabilities and experience to operate the Holloway Mine facilities in a cost effective manner and benefit from the synergies created by having other mining operations in the same Timmins camp." Initial conceptual planning for the Holloway-Holt Gold Mine envisages a target for gold production resuming in the first half of 2007 at a forecast production rate of 75,000-100,000 ounces of gold per annum. St Andrew believes that the combination of the Holloway-Holt exploration properties and St Andrew's existing East Timmins Golden Reward Exploration properties will form one of the largest contiguous land packages in the Timmins Mining Camp with excellent potential for a major discovery. Any exploration discovery on this land package will have the added advantage of having ore treatment facilities available at the Holloway-Holt gold mill.

Technical information in this Press Release is based on the RPA Technical Report, which is entitled "Technical Report on Holloway-Holt Mining Project, Northeastern Ontario, Canada", dated June 2, 2006 and was authored by R.Barry Cook, M.Sc.; P.Eng, and Wayne W. Valliant, P.Geo; and James L. Pearson, P.Eng. All the authors are qualified persons under NI 43-101 and are independent of St Andrew.

St Andrew (TSX: SAS) is a gold mining and exploration company producing gold from its Stock Gold Complex in Timmins, Ontario and with gold production from its Nixon Fork project in Alaska scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2006. St Andrew controls a very large land position in the Timmins Mining Camp, an extensive land position at Eskay Creek in northern British Columbia and land positions around Nixon Fork in the Kuskokwim-Tintina Mining Camp in Alaska. St Andrew also holds an approximate 48.3% equity interest in New Zealand-based gold explorer, Glass Earth Limited

Was haltet Ihr davon.

St Andrew Announces Shipment of First Gold Dore From Nixon Fork Gold Mine, Alaska

Thursday January 25, 9:15 pm ET

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 25, 2007) - St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX:SAS - News; "St Andrew" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the first shipment of gold dore from the Nixon Fork Gold Mine.

      Nixon Fork Gold Mill

The commissioning process of the gold mill at the Nixon Fork Gold Mine was completed at the end of December 2006 and since that date copper concentrates and gold dore have been produced. Sufficient quantities of gold dore are on hand at the mine site that the first shipment of gold dore has taken place.

Mechanical delays which were encountered during the commissioning process have been overcome and the gold mill is now operating at the nominal 150 tons per day rated capacity.

The next phase of the upgrade of the metallurgical circuit is now underway with the commencement of the installation of a cyanide leach circuit that will not only increase the percentage recovery of gold from the existing underground ore but will be able to extract and retreat the tailings from the previous operation at Nixon Fork. Retreatment of tailings is expected to commence in the summer of 2007.

Underground Mining at the Crystal Garnet Mine

Underground mining operations at the Crystal Garnet Mine have continued to open up additional mining areas and sufficient stope face is now available to maintain the 150 tons per day underground ore production rate.

Nixon Fork Gold Mine Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve Estimates

A NP 43-101 compliant "Technical Report on the Nixon Fork Project, Alaska, U.S.A." by Scott Wilson RPA and dated October 2, 2006, defined a mineral resource estimate and a mineral reserve estimate for the Nixon Fork Gold Mine as follows:

Ein Beispiel: The offering size of $124 million through the issuance of .... usw.

      Weiter unten: Stand-by Guarantors
Technifund Inc. ("Technifund"), a company controlled by the Chairman of the board of directors of St Andrew, and managed accounts of Trapeze Asset Management Inc. and of Trapeze Capital Corp. (collectively, "Trapeze") have agreed to act as stand-by guarantors with respect to, collectively, $110 million of the rights offering (Technifund as to $87 million and Trapeze as to $23 million) for a stand-by guarantee fee of 6%. .....

Das heißt, der eigene Chairman cashed $ 5,22 Mio. als Stand-by-fee ab!!
      Unglaublich, diese Selbstbedienungsmentalität.

      Weiteres Beispiel: Use of Proceeds
Proceeds from the rights offering will be used to retire St Andrew's outstanding 10% Secured Debentures, for capital expenditures at St Andrew's Nixon Fork property and development and drilling programs at the Holloway-Holt Gold Mine, to pay the stand-by guarantee fee, the financing commitment fee and the expenses of the rights offering, and for working capital, potential acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

      Aug 10, 2012
SAS Reports Positive 2012 Second Quarter Results with Record Production and Strong Operating Cash Flow
      PDF Version
St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (T-SAS) (OTCQX-STADF), ("SAS" or the "Company") earned net income attributable to shareholders for the second quarter 2012 of $4.4 million or $0.01 per share as compared to a net loss of $1.2 million, or nil on a per share for the same period last year. Adjusted net earnings(1) for the quarter were $5.9 million, or $0.02 per share compared to an adjusted net loss of $3.0 million, or $0.01 per share, for the same period in 2011.

      SECONDQUARTER HIGHLIGHTS

Gnerated operating cash flow of $9.4 million.

Achieved record production of 23,016 ounces of gold from three operations (Holt, Holloway and Hislop).

Sold 22,495 ounces of gold at an average realized price (1) of US$1,620 per ounce for revenues of $37.1 million.

Mine cash costs of US$785 per ounce and a royalty cost of US$134 per ounce, for a total cash cost per ounce of gold sold (1) of US$919 per ounce.

Earned cash margin from mine operations (1) of $16.2 million.

Invested $9.6 million in mine capital expenditures and exploration and evaluation assets.

Commenced dewatering activities at the Taylor Project to advance the underground ramp rehabilitation and development.

Completed a US$25.0 million secured bank facility and retired all of the outstanding Gold Notes.

We will see.

      http://www.stockhouse.com/news/canadianreleasesdetail.aspx?n…
