WILD PREMIERS AS SPECIAL TWO-HOUR PRESENTATION
ON ANIMAL PLANET TO RAVE REVIEWS
Series Adaptation of Jack London’s classic novel receives critical accolades nationwide.
Los Angeles, CA – April 7, 2000 – Call of The Wild, a new action-adventure dramatic series
based on Jack London’s classic novel and produced by TEAM Entertainment Group, the
production arm of TEAM Communications Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TMTV) (Neuer Markt:
TME) debuted on Animal Planet as a two-hour world premiere movie presentation on Friday,
March 31 to rave reviews nationwide, it was announced today by Drew S. Levin, TEAM
Chairman of The Board and Chief Executive Officer.
Based on Jack London’s timeless classic, the series, which stars Nick Mancuso, begins with
the story of “Buck,” a 140 pound Alaskan Husky stolen from his home in San Francisco to be
used as a sled dog in the Yukon. While guiding Buck’s inexperienced owners through
dangerous and unpredictable terrain, fifteen-year-old Miles forms a special bond with the dog
and eventually makes him an important member of the family. The series follows “Buck” and
his newly adopted Thornton family through the Yukon wilderness. Invoking adventure and
drama that will capture the imaginations of young and old, the series will introduce the
audience to new visitors passing through the town as they encounter the Thornton family,
Buck and a host of other characters.
Since its two-hour world premiere in March, the series has received top reviews, including
“Pick of The Week” from such prestigious journals as USA Today, The Washington Post,
The New York Times and The New York Daily News. Other high-ranking publications are
also giving this outstanding series a “thumbs up”.
“Shot amid gorgeous scenery in British Columbia, this sumptuous telling of Jack London`s
Klondike gold rush chronicle of a teen and his Malamute/wolf continues Saturday at 8p.m.
before settling in Monday nights at 9,”proclaims Newsday.
“The gorgeous surroundings of British Columbia, the heartfelt stories and
earnest human characters, and glorious Buck make "Call of the Wild" fine
family viewing,” writes The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Ich Depp hab in `ne Ami-Aktie investiert. Jetzt muß ich meine grauen Zellen doch glatt immer wieder anstrengen und Texte vom englischen ins deutsche übersetzen. Aber na ja... Das übt wenigstens...

Verwunderlicherweise hat heute hier noch keiner gesagt, daß sein Kursziel für die nächste Woche bei 50€ liegt. Im BO-Board hört man das ja häufiger. Schön, daß hier nicht ganz so viele Pusher am Werk sind...
