VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 17, 2007) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) announced today that it has identified a high-grade copper-silver vein system on its La Bufa Project in Chihuahua, Mexico. A grab sample of vein material, exposed over a width of 3.00 metres, collected during a regional stream sediment program, returned 7.20% copper, 1,470 g/t silver and 0.05 g/t gold. West Timmins has staked an additional 40 square kilometres in the La Bufa area to cover the strike projection of this new vein system and a parallel system identified one kilometre to the east which returned 0.49% copper, 4.80 g/t silver and 2.24 g/t gold. Several multi-element (copper-gold-silver) stream sediment anomalies have also been identified within the project area.

The new discoveries are located 3.00 kilometres east of the former producing Carmen copper-gold-silver deposit owned by WTM. The Carmen (La Bufa) Mine produced approximately 1,000,000 tonnes at an average grade of 2.50% copper, 2.80 g/t silver and 2.90 g/t gold between 1947 and 1958. The steeply dipping Carmen vein system was traced for over 800 metres along strike and mined from 16 levels over widths of 2.0 to 6.0 metres. Recent sampling by the Company has confirmed the presence of anomalous gold mineralization (0.40 to 18.70 g/t gold) hosted in low sulphide, silicified zones in the hanging wall to the main structure at Carmen. West Timmins wholly owned Mexican subsidiary, Minera Golondrina S.de R.L. de C.V., purchased a 100% interest in the Carmen Mine and surrounding exploration property in 2006.

A systematic sampling program of the Carmen Mine area and follow-up sampling of the new discoveries are anticipated to commence within the next six weeks.

WTM's La Bufa Project is located in The Three States Mineral District of south-western Chihuahua State, Mexico which also hosts the Company's Montana de Oro and Lluvia de Oro projects. The La Bufa Project is road accessible and is located 25 kilometres east of Goldcorp's El Sauzal Gold Mine and 75 kilometres east of WTM's Montana de Oro Project.

      Quality Control and Assurance

Geochemical results reported herein are from grab samples collected from surface on the Company's La Bufa Project. Sampling was conducted on site by trained personnel and sealed samples were transported to ALS-Chemex's preparation facilities in Chihuahua, Mexico by employees of consulting firm Minera Cascabel S.A. de C. V. on behalf of West Timmins Mining Inc.

All samples were assayed for gold by standard fire assay- ICP finish with a 50 gram charge. Samples additionally underwent 34 element ICP-MS analysis. Gold values in excess of 3.00 g/t were re-analyzed by fire assay with gravimetric finish for greater accuracy. Silver and copper values in excess of 100 ppm and 1% respectively were also repeated by fire assay. For quality control purposes blank and analytical control standards were inserted into the sample sequence at regular intervals - no discrepancies are reported. Mr. Darin Wagner (M.Sc., P.Geo.), the Company's President, has acted as non-independent qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has visited the project site and independently verified some, but not all, of the analytical results reported.

West Timmins Options High-Grade Gold-Silver System in Montaña de Oro Area; Reported Results Include 7.36 g/t Gold, 563 g/t Silver Over 6.0 Metres

(Vancouver, November 8, 2007) West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX: WTM) and MacMillan Gold Corp. (TSX-V: MMG) announced today they have entered into a Letter Agreement whereby West Timmins can earn up to a 70% interest in three of MacMillan’s Mexican properties: the La Violetta, Chino Gordo, and Palmira Properties. La Violetta is surrounded by West Timmins’ Montaña de Oro Project; Chino Gordo and Palmira are both adjacent to West Timmins’ Montaña de Oro Project in Sonora, Mexico.

The La Violetta Property hosts a historically productive high-grade gold-silver vein system and is reported to have returned 7.36 g/t gold and 563 g/t silver across a 6.0 metre chip sample collected by MacMillan beyond the previously mined high grade shoot. The gold-silver mineralization is associated with elevated lead and copper values and bears a number of similarities to the nearby and adjacent El Rodeo and Don Pancho vein systems being explored by West Timmins on the Montaña de Oro Project.

“We are pleased to have reached an agreement to acquire a significant interest in this promising property package and to further expand our holdings in the Montaña de Oro area,” said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. “We look forward to working with MacMillan Gold to move these properties forward.”

Under the terms of the Letter Agreement West Timmins can vest its initial 51% interest in the Properties by delivering to MacMillan, subject to regulatory approval, 300,000 common shares (100,000 shares upon regulatory approval (committed) and 100,000 shares by each of September 30, 2008 and 2009). West Timmins is also required to spend $500,000 by September 30, 2010 on exploration on the Properties of which a minimum of $100,000 must be spent on the Properties by September 30, 2008.

West Timmins will have a second option to increase its interest from 51% to 60% by delivering an additional 200,000 common shares to MacMillan (100,000 by each of September 30, 2010 and 2011) and spending an additional $500,000 on the Properties prior to September 30, 2013. The additional 200,000 shares to be delivered under the second option will be subject to a capped maximum value of $1,400,000. Should West Timmins complete this 60% earn in, it will have a third option to increase its overall property interest to 70% by funding and delivering a bankable feasibility report within three years of completing the 60% earn in on a resource developed at least in part within the boundaries of the Properties.

West Timmins will be the operator throughout the option and joint venture phases of the Agreement and is entitled to a 5% management fee on all exploration expenditures. The Letter Agreement is subject to final approval of the Board of Directors of West Timmins, completion of due diligence investigations within 30 days of signing of the Letter Agreement, and regulatory approval.

Darin Wagner, P. Geo. and President of the Company, is the non-independent qualified person under NI43-101 for this news release. The results reported herein from the La Violetta Property were provided to the Company by MacMillan Gold. They were collected by consultants in the employee of MacMillan Gold in 2002 and analyzed through the facilities of ALS-Chemex by standard fire assay techniques. The qualified person has visited the property, verified the high-grade nature of the mineralization within the Violetta structure through analysis of samples from the dumps on site and visited each of the adjacent properties as part of the Company’s due diligence review.

West Timmins to begin drilling on Timmins property
Drill testing of West Timmins Mining Inc.'s Highway 144 Gold Property, located in Timmins, will begin over the coming weeks.

The 15-20 hole, 6,000-metre drill program will target an eight-metre zone grading 1.05 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, a structure which is open along strike and to depth.

The property is located immediately south of the company's Thunder Creek property where recent drilling turned up a new zone of gold mineralization. One hole in this zone returned 9.77 g/t gold over 3.95 metres, including 12.01 g/t gold over 3.1 metres.

It also covers four kilometres of the contact which hosts both Thunder Creek and Lake Shore Gold's Timmins West gold discoveries.

      Sollte jetzt mal was werden.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2007) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX: WTM.TO) announced today that drill hole LC07-15 has intersected 31.16 metres (102.23 feet) grading 6.05% zinc, 0.94% copper, 51.48 g/t silver and 0.80 g/t gold starting at a depth of only 44 metres below surface. These results are the highest grade, widest and deepest intercepts to date from the La Dura West Discovery which remains open down dip and along strike. The La Dura West Discovery is one of several zones of mineralization currently being drill tested on the Company's 100% owned Montana de Oro Project located in the Sierra Madre Belt, Mexico.

"The grade and thickness of the latest intercepts clearly warrant a significantly expanded drill program at La Dura West. When combined with the shallow depths and high value of the metal basket we are very excited by the potential for this discovery," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining.

The zinc grade for hole LC07-15 is preliminary in nature as six samples, ranging from 0.30 to 0.60 metres in width, exceeded the maximum detection limit for fire assay of 30% zinc. Additional analysis are being undertaken to accurately determine the zinc content of these very high-grade intercepts and are expected to take 4-6 weeks to complete. Assay results from the lower 400 metres of hole LC07-15 remain pending. Cross sections and locations maps for the La Dura West Discovery are available on the Company's website at http://www.westtimminsmining.com/main/?laDura..

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 4, 2007) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (" West Timmins") (TSX:WTM), on behalf of its wholly owned Mexican subsidiary Minera Golondrina S. De R.L. De C.V., and Trelawney Resources Inc. ("Trelawney") (TSX VENTURE:TRR) announced today that they have jointly entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire a combined 100% interest in the La Bufa Azteca Property. The 135 square kilometre La Bufa Azteca Property adjoins West Timmins La Bufa Property where Trelawney can earn a 50% interest as announced November 26, 2007 (see NR07-39). The La Bufa Azteca Property hosts the former producing Caballero Azteca gold zone and a number of similar copper-gold occurrences. The La Bufa area is located in south-western Chihuahua State, Mexico, 25 kilometres east of Goldcorp's El Sauzal Gold Mine and 75 kilometres east of West Timmins' Montana de Oro Project.

Historically reported sampling of the Caballero Azteca gold zone by Francisco Gold (now Goldcorp) and COREMI (the Mexican Geological Survey) returned between 0.30 and 50.00 g/t gold and 6.65 to 29.70 g/t silver from grab samples of both in-situ and dump material. Recent chip sampling by the property vendor of silicified breccias in the walls of the Caballero Azteca gold zone returned 4.04 g/t gold over 6.00 metres. The Caballero Azteca gold zone is interpreted to represent the upper, gold-rich portion of a vertically zoned copper-gold system similar to the Carmen Mine on the adjacent La Bufa Property. Historical records indicate that the Carmen Mine produced approximately 1 mT of copper and gold ore at average grades of 2.50% copper, 2.90 g/t gold and 2.80 g/t silver.

"We are very pleased to be able to significantly expand our holdings in the La Bufa area at minimal cost to the Company," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. "The similarities between a number of the mineralized zones on the newly acquired property and the historically productive Carmen Mine are numerous and indicate the presence of a large copper-gold system."

Under the terms of the Letter of Intent with vendor Minera Cascabel S.A de C.V. ("Cascabel"), West Timmins and Trelawney will have the right to earn a 100% interest in the La Bufa Azteca Property by making a series of cash payments and issuing payments of common shares over four years, and annually completing twice the minimum annual work expenditures on the Property required under Mexican mining legislation. West Timmins may vest its 50% interest in the Property by making cash payments totalling CDN$135,000 in years three and four of the agreement and issuing 225,000 commons shares over four years. West Timmins will be the operator of the La Bufa Project.

Trelawney will fund the initial US$1,000,000 in exploration expenditures on the combined La Bufa and La Bufa Azteca Property position (the "La Bufa Project"). Upon successful vesting of their respective 50% interests West Timmins and Trelawney will grant to Cascabel a 1% NSR royalty on base metal and a 2% NSR royalty on precious metal production from the La Bufa Azteca Property. West Timmins will also, subject to successful vesting of its La Bufa Azteca interest, grant to Cascabel a 1% NSR royalty on base and precious metal production from its adjacent La Bufa Property. The Letter of Intent and contemplated option agreement are subject to final board and regulatory approvals.

Mr. Darin Wagner (M.Sc., P.Geo.), the President and CEO of West Timmins Mining Inc., has acted as non-independent qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has visited the project site and reviewed both the historic records and recent analytical results which have been confirmed by due diligence sampling conducted on behalf of West Timmins.

West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) announced today that ongoing drill testing on the Company's 100% owned Thorne Property, part of the West Timmins Gold Project, has extended the Pond and West Gold Zones. Key intercepts include 1.15 metres grading 10.17 g/t gold from the Pond Zone and 5.20 metres grading 1.29 g/t from the West Zone.

Drill Hole GW07-09 returned four separate mineralized intervals interpreted to be the eastern extensions of the West, Sandhill, Pond and newly defined Lower Porphyry Gold Zones. These four zones are interpreted to trend sub-parallel to each other. Each of the zones demonstrates significant lateral and vertical continuity as defined by previous drilling.

"WTM's drilling along the Golden River Trend continues to yield new discoveries and expand the known zones of gold mineralization within this 5 kilometre long corridor," said Darin Wagner, President of West Timmins Mining. "Recent results suggest there is the potential to increase the Company's near surface resource base on the Thorne Property in Timmins." The Thorne Property currently hosts a NI43-101 compliant inferred gold resource of 400,000 ounces (4.0 mT grading 3.0 g/t gold) which was last updated in 1998 (Band-Ore Resources). Since the last resource calculation, 134 holes have been completed along the Golden River Trend by the Company and its predecessor.

This hole represents 40% of true thickness.

Drilling has now intersected the West Zone for 1,050 metres along strike and at depths ranging from 30 to 320 metres. The Pond Zone has been intersected for 322 metres along strike and to a depth of 230 metres vertical. Both zones remain open to the west/southwest and down dip. Results from eight additional holes (five from the Pond Zone and three testing the down dip and along-strike extensions of the West Zone) as well as additional intercepts of the Lower Porphyry Zone (holes GW07-01 to GW07-07) remain pending.

      Quality Control and Assurance

Geochemical results reported herein are from halved drill core samples collected from the Company's West Timmins Gold project. Drill results reported were collected by the Company and are subject to the Company's quality control program. Sampling of the drill core was conducted on site at the Company's Timmins exploration office by trained personnel and sealed samples were transported to the laboratory facilities of Accurassay in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Samples were assayed for gold by standard fire assay-ICP finish with a 30 gram charge. The remaining half of the drill core is stored on-site at the Company's Timmins exploration office. For quality control purposes blank, duplicate and analytical control standards were inserted into the sample sequence at irregular intervals. Several standards analyzed below acceptable limits, these discrepancies have now been resolved to the satisfaction of the qualified person. Mr. Darin Wagner (M.Sc., P.Geo.), the Company's President, has acted as qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has examined the drill core and reviewed the analytical and quality control data.

WTM Intersects Additional Porphyry-Style Copper-Gold-Silver Mineralization at La Dura West
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 14, 2008) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) reported today a number of new intercepts of copper-gold-silver mineralization from holes drilled into the footwall of the La Dura West Polymetallic Zone. The mineralized intercepts range from 4.55 to 62.51 metres in width and have returned copper grades ranging from 0.10 to 1.09%. Vein-hosted copper-gold-silver (+/- lead, zinc, molybdenum) mineralization has also been intersected in a number of these holes. The copper-gold-silver mineralization occurs within a broad zone of strong to intense silica alteration traceable on surface for over 2,000 metres in the La Dura West area.

"The discovery of porphyry copper-gold-silver mineralization fits with the exploration model for the La Dura West area," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. "The porphyry copper-gold-silver system now becomes a drill target onto itself while we continue to drill and expand the La Dura West Polymetallic Zone."

West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) announced today that the 2008 exploration program on its high-grade Lluvia de Oro Gold-Silver Project in Chihuahua, Mexico has commenced. Initial results confirm a sizable gold-silver anomaly 1000 to 3000 metres north of the historic mine workings that includes new, high-grade surface outcrop gold (13.10 g/t) and silver (402 g/t) discoveries detailed below.

"These new high-grade surface discoveries and the large associated gold-silver anomaly provide an additional focus for exploration and drilling in 2008 on the Lluvia de Oro Project, outside the area of the former high-grade mine workings," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining.

The Lluvia de Oro Project hosts one of Mexico's highest grade former gold-silver producers with reported historic production grades of 95 g/t (2.80 oz/ton) gold and 865 g/t (24.80 oz/ton) silver. West Timmins has agreed to purchase a 100% interest in the Project, formerly part of the Mexican National Mineral Reserve, directly from the government of Mexico.

Reconnaissance stream sediment sampling completed by WTM in late 2007 has defined a large gold and silver anomaly on the north side of a major drainage divide which separates this northern drainage from the area of the historic mining operations to the south. Fourteen stream samples which outline the northern gold-silver anomaly, traceable for a distance of 2,000 metres downstream, returned values ranging from 0.34 to 4.58 g/t gold and 0.40 to 34.90 g/t silver. Stream sediment samples collected from streams draining the historic high-grade mining operations, south of the divide, returned similar gold and silver values ranging from 0.17 to 3.56 g/t gold and 0.80 to 11.80 g/t silver.

Five rock grab samples collected from outcropping vein mineralization north of the drainage divide, during the stream sampling program, confirm the presence of high-grade gold and silver mineralization up to 2,500 metres north of the historic workings, returning values ranging from 0.02 to 13.79 g/t gold and 2.20 to 402.00 g/t silver.

The 2008 exploration program will include follow-up geochemical sampling as well as surface/underground mapping and sampling of the historic workings. A surface trenching program will also target silicified haloes which surround the historic high-grade veins and mantos. These silicified haloes are reported, by the Mexican Geological Survey, to have returned intervals of 35.00 metres grading 3.96 g/t gold and 29.00 g/t silver and 20.00 metres grading 5.58 g/t gold and 51.00 g/t silver from trenches completed in the 1980s. A diamond drilling campaign on high priority targets is currently being planned for Q2-2008.

The Lluvia de Oro Gold Project is located 30 kilometres east of WTM's Montana de Oro Project and 20 kilometres west of Goldcorp's El Sauzal gold-silver mine.

"The latest results from the Thunder Creek Property significantly extend the high-grade Rusk Gold Zone," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. "The Rusk Zone continues to demonstrate excellent grade and thickness. The discovery of additional zones of gold mineralization in the hanging wall and footwall to the Rusk Zone further demonstrates the exploration potential of this property."

The new intersections are located approximately 800 metres southwest of the Timmins West shaft currently being developed by partner Lake Shore Gold (TSX:LSG). According to Lake Shore's President Tony Makuch, "These intersections represent a new dimension to the Thunder Creek Property. The potential of this new mineralization could significantly impact Lake Shore's development plans, as they may be accessible from the Timmins West shaft with minimum additional capital expenses."

During the fourth quarter of 2007, project operator Lake Shore Gold Corp. advised WTM they had completed the expenditure requirements to vest a 60% interest in the Thunder Creek Property. WTM and Lake Shore will now form a joint venture to move the Thunder Creek Project forward with all future work funded on a pro-rata 60/40 basis (Lake Shore/WTM).

Copper-Gold Intercepts Continue to Expand WTM's La Dura Discovery
      New Copper-Gold Discovery Returns 12.30 Metres @ 0.94% Copper, 2.07 g/t Gold and 65.12 g/t Silver

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 10, 2008) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) announced today that drill testing in the La Dura West area of its 100% owned Montana de Oro Project in Sonora, Mexico has intersected additional zones of copper-gold-silver mineralization (see table below). These feature an intercept of 12.30 metres grading 0.94% copper, 2.07 g/t gold and 65.12 g/t silver, which includes 1.55 metres grading 0.13% copper, 8.43 g/t gold and 50.10 g/t silver, located less than 100 metres south of the La Dura West Polymetallic discovery.

The latest results from the La Dura area are consistent with the Company's exploration model which relates the La Dura East lead-zinc-silver, La Dura West Polymetallic and proximal copper-gold-silver discoveries to a large, classically zoned intrusive hosted copper-gold system.

"With the peripheral lead-zinc-silver dominated elements of this system exhibiting a strike length of at least 3000 metres and the grade/thickness of a number of recent copper-gold intercepts all indications are that we are progressing toward the centre of large copper-gold system," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. "Based on the available geological information the centre of this system lays to the west of our drilling to date, across the placer gold-bearing Baboyahui River."

A series of recently completed drill holes, collared up to 600 metres west of previous drilling, provide additional support for the current exploration model. These holes exhibit westward increases in alteration intensity, disseminated copper sulphide mineralization and in the thickness of the mineralized intercepts. Assay results from these holes remain pending and will be released as they become available to the Company.

An additional 20 holes are currently in the planning and permitting stages in the La Dura area as WTM looks to outline the extent of the copper-gold and related mineralized zones.

Drill results have also been received from several new vein discoveries in the Don Pancho-Violetta area, located six kilometres to the east of the La Dura East discovery. Drill hole DP07-15 collared into a 1.50 metre wide mineralized zone which returned 0.46 g/t gold and 26.50 g/t silver. Drill hole DP07-16 returned gold values ranging from detection to 2.85 g/t from an 8.80 metre wide vein-breccia zone. Both intercepts are interpreted to represent 105-110% of true thickness.

Six additional holes testing the nearby El Rodeo gold-silver system all intersected the El Rodeo Zone with intercepts ranging from 0.29 to 2.25 metres in thickness (100-110% of interpreted true thickness). The intercepts returned gold values ranging from 0.15 to 2.25 g/t and silver values from 3.19 to 78.00 g/t. Three of the holes tested the El Rodeo Zone at vertical depths of between 175 and 250 metres, each intersecting multiple narrow breccia/vein zones.

WTM's 100% owned Montana de Oro Project covers in excess of 600 square kilometres and is located along the border between the states of Sonora, Sinaloa and Chihuahua, Mexico. The Montana de Oro Project is situated less than 50 kilometres from six new mines or advanced exploration projects including Goldcorp's lowest cost gold producer - the El Sauzal deposit, Coeur d'Alene Mines' Palmarejo-Trogan silver-gold deposit and Pan American Silver's Alamo Dorado silver mine.

      Quality Control and Assurance

Geochemical results reported herein are from halved drill core samples collected from the Company's Montana de Oro project. Core sampling is conducted on site by trained personnel and sealed samples are transported to ALS-Chemex's preparation facilities in Hermosillo, Mexico by employees of consulting firm Minera Cascabel S.A. de C.V. on behalf of West Timmins Mining. Samples were assayed for gold by standard fire assay- ICP finish with a 30 gram charge. Samples additionally underwent 34 element ICP-MS analysis. Silver, zinc, copper and lead values in excess of 100 ppm, 1%, 1% and 1% respectively were re-analyzed by fire assay. The remaining half of the drill core is stored in a secure facility near the project site. For quality control purposes blanks and analytical control standards were inserted into the sample sequence at regular intervals. Mr. Darin Wagner (M.Sc., P.Geo), the Company's President, has acted as non-independent qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has visited the project site, examined the drill intercepts reported, reviewed the available technical information for the project, and has verified that there were no significant discrepancies with respect to the quality control samples submitted for analysis along with the drill core.

Neues von der LA Dura West Zone:

WTM Intersects Copper Mineralization Over 267 Metres at Montana De Oro
La Dura Copper Zone Returns 267 Metres Grading 0.23% Copper

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2008) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) reported today that the most westerly hole drilled to date, from which assays have been received, in the La Dura West area of its Montana de Oro Project, has intersected 266.90 metres grading 0.23% copper, confirming the discovery of a significant bulk tonnage copper (porphyry) target. The Copper Zone is associated with anomalous gold, silver and molybdenum values.

The porphyry model for bulk tonnage copper deposits outlines district scale patterns of mineralization and alteration which are all present in the La Dura area over a scale of 8 to 10 kilometres. The La Dura West (zinc-copper-gold-silver), La Dura East (lead-zinc-silver-gold) and recently identified gold-silver vein zones are all believed to be part of the same large porphyry system. Hole LC08-29, announced here, is believed to be located on the outer (eastern) margin of the copper zone in this system.

"The results from hole LC08-29 confirm the presence of a large copper (gold-silver-molybdenum) system in the La Dura area," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. "Intercepts of this scale, on the outer flanks a porphyry system, suggest there is good potential for significant increases in both grade and thickness as we progress westward toward the centre of the system."

Hole LC08-29 is a 300 metre step out to the west from previous drilling in the La Dura West area. On-going drilling at 300 to 500 spacing north, south and west of hole LC08-29 has continued to intersect broad intervals of copper mineralization. Results are pending from an additional 6 holes in the La Dura West area and two drills are currently working to further expand the discovery. WTM will now move both rigs currently active on the Montana de Oro Project into the La Dura area to accelerate the testing of this discovery.

Located less than 50 kilometres from three recently opened mines and two recent takeover targets, the Company's 100% owned Montana de Oro Project controls over 600 square kilometres in the heart of the Sierra Madre Belt. Initially purchased from the Mexican National Mineral Reserve, the Project covers the headwaters of the largest placer gold system in northern Mexico. Significant placer gold workings are found in the Baboyahui River which cuts through the La Dura area.

      WTM= Wst Timmins mining
      LSG= Lake shore gold

      Mit kurzen Worten:

      Erste Ergebnisse zeigen ordentliche Goldgehalte:

      Highlights:

      Rusk/Porphyry Zone (TC08-54)
      657.65 - 684.00: 5.90 Au g/t over 26.35 m
      Including 666.40 - 676.80: 11.20 Au g/t over 10.40 m
      Including 666.40 - 669.40: 25.99 Au g/t over 3.00 m
      Including 672.25 - 676.80: 7.79 Au g/t over 4.55 m
      Rusk Zone (Shallow Level) (TC08-56)
      231.35 - 235.10: 2.37 Au g/t over 3.75 m
      Including 231.35 - 231.65: 18.20 Au g/t over 0.30 m
      Rusk Zone (TC08-57)
      601.30 - 602.20: 12.54 Au g/t over 0.90 m

WTM President and CEO Darin Wagner said “We are thrilled with today’s results and the implications for further expansion of the Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones at Thunder Creek. The continuity to depth of the high grade gold mineralization in the Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones is a hallmark of the historic and world class Hollinger, McIntyre and Dome gold deposits, around which the Timmins Camp was built.

West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) today reported results from the Golden River West Zone infill and expansion drill program, including multiple high-grade gold intercepts and one of the broadest gold mineralized intercepts to date from the West Zone. The results reported today are NOT from the high-grade Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones on the Company's Thunder Creek joint venture. Two drills continue to test the on-strike extensions of the recently reported high-grade gold intercepts on the Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones. The next round of results from the on-going Thunder Creek drill program are anticipated within the next 3-5 weeks.

      Golden River West Zone Highlights

Today's Golden River West Zone results are highlighted by a 4.00 metre (13.12 foot) high-grade gold intercept which returned 7.53 g/t (0.22 oz/t) gold within a 37.00 metre gold bearing intercept from hole GW-08-44 which averaged 1.98 g/t (0.06 oz/t) gold.

Hole GW-08-45, drilled 50 metres vertically above GW-08-44, returned high-grade intercepts of 13.10 g/t (0.38 oz/t) gold over 1.10 metres (3.61 feet) and 6.97 g/t (0.20 oz/ton) gold over 1.90 metres (6.23 feet) within one of the broadest gold mineralized intercepts to date from the West Zone - 71.60 metres (234.85 feet) grading 0.72 g/t (0.02 oz/t) gold.

Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining said "Today's intercepts continue to confirm the exploration model for gold mineralization in the West Timmins District. As with the recent high-grade intercepts from the nearby Rusk and Porphyry Zones, the Golden River West Zone continues to exhibit high-grade structurally controlled gold zones hosted within broad gold-bearing alteration corridors. Both the high-grade gold zones and the broader alteration haloes are exhibiting continuity to depth where both grade and thickness have been shown to improve in the District."

      Hallo

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2009) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) ("WTM" or the "Company") today announced multiple high-grade gold intercepts from drill testing of its Thunder Creek Joint Venture in Timmins, Ontario. Today's results are highlighted by hole TC09-69a which returned 7.95 g/t (0.23 oz/t) gold over 19.45 metres (63.80 feet), including two higher grade intervals which returned 9.88 g/t (0.29 oz/t) gold over 6.90 metres (22.63 feet) and 11.44 g/t (0.33 oz/t) gold over 6.00 metres (19.68 feet). These intercepts confirm and continue to expand the wide zone of high-grade gold mineralization intersected in hole TC09-69 reported March 31, 2009 (NR09-10): http://www.westtimminsmining.com/main/?newsReleases&195 - 8.86 g/t (0.26 oz/t) gold over 24.85 metres (81.58 feet) including 19.55 g/t (0.57 oz/t) gold over 6.00 metres (19.68 feet).

In addition, hole TC09-70 successfully intersected the gold-bearing Porphyry Zone - more than doubling the known strike extent of this zone and continuing to confirm the dramatic broadening of Porphyry Zone at depth. The Porphyry Zone has now been intersected for over 175 metres along strike and remains open in all directions. Hole TC09-70 returned high-grade intercepts of 11.26 g/t (0.33 oz/t) gold over 1.35 metres (4.42 feet) and 7.32 g/t (0.21 oz/t) gold over 1.20 metres (3.94 feet). As in holes TC09-68 and TC09-69, located over 120 and 175 metres to the southwest respectively, anomalous gold mineralization occurs throughout the entire width of the porphyry body intersected providing further support for the current exploration model at Thunder Creek and on WTM's adjacent 100% owned Hwy 144 and Thorne Properties.

The multiple zones of high-grade gold mineralization which collectively comprise the Thunder Creek gold system have now been traced by drilling for approximately 700 metres down plunge, along strike for over 175 metres at the level of the intercepts reported today and over widths ranging from 1.30 to 24.85 metres. All zones continue to broaden at depth and remain open for continued expansion. As well a new zone of gold mineralization has recently been identified in the footwall to the Porphyry Zone, returning 5.04 g/t gold over 1.50 metres in hole TC09-68a, indicating potential for the development of additional zones of gold mineralization both at depth and along strike within the Thunder Creek system.

WTM President and CEO Darin Wagner said, "Today's results further confirm the continuity of wide zones of high-grade gold mineralization within the Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones at Thunder Creek and also confirm that the gold mineralized system is broadening at depth. The geological architect of the Thunder Creek gold system displays strong similarities to the world-class Hollinger-McIntyre 32 million ounce gold system, around which the Timmins Gold Camp was founded a century ago. The tremendous increase in the size of the Porphyry Gold Zone resulting from intercepts reported today indicates we are dealing with a much larger gold-bearing system at Thunder Creek than initially envisaged and one which has excellent potential to continue to expand."

Drilling at Thunder Creek continues with two drills. Since the commencement of the current 22,000 metre drill program slightly over 13,000 metres in 21 holes and 2 wedges have been completed. Drilling continues on hole TC09-71, a 100 plus metre step out southwest of hole TC09-69a reported above. The second drill continues to test the north-eastern extensions of the Rusk and Porphyry Zones.

Tony Makuch, President and CEO of Lake Shore Gold, commented: "Drilling on the Thunder Creek Property continues to provide confirmation of the significant potential and extent of the multiple horizons within the Rusk and Porphyry Zones, as well as potential for new gold zones to the south, west and at depth. These results significantly expand the known mineralization on the property, leave the zones open in all directions and indicate the potential for discovery of additional zones and ultimately a large gold deposit. The drill program is continuing with 2 drills with results from six additional holes pending. We intend to double the number of drills on the property in the next few months. The gold mineralization identified on the Thunder Creek property is located approximately 800 metres from Lake Shore's Timmins Mine shaft. The Timmins Mine shaft is currently being sunk to a depth of 710 metres to develop the Timmins deposit. At this depth, the shaft capacity is in excess of 5,000 tonnes per day, and was purposely over-designed in order to provide flexibility to support underground exploration programs as well as develop the Timmins Mine."

WTM's Thunder Creek Property is being explored and developed as a joint venture with Lake Shore Gold who hold a 60% interest in the Property and act as project operator. Lake Shore is currently developing the 1.3 million ounce Timmins gold deposit located less than 800 metres from the Thunder Creek gold discoveries. In addition to the Thunder Creek Property, WTM continues to drill test its 100% owned Hwy 144 gold discovery located 1,600 metres south of Thunder Creek along the same structure which hosts the Rusk and Porphyry Zones and the Timmins deposit. The Company also continues to expand several zones of gold mineralization located along the 5+ kilometre long Golden River Trend on the adjacent 100% owned Thorne Property.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 12, 2009) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX: WTM.TO) ("WTM" or the "Company") today announced that bonanza grade gold mineralization has been intersected from the North Zone on its 100% owned Thorne Property, part of the Company's West Timmins Gold Project, in Timmins, Ontario. All three holes testing the North Zone returned high-grade gold mineralization, highlighted by hole GS09-31 which returned 8.20 metres (26.90 feet) grading 13.64 g/t (0.40 oz/ton) gold, including 2.40 metres (7.87 feet) grading 41.30 g/t (1.20 oz/t) gold.

"The North Zone adds another zone of high grade gold mineralization over significant widths on our 100% owned property package in Timmins. These results continue to confirm the presence of multiple high grade gold zones located in close proximity to each other in the West Timmins District. This clustering of high-grade gold zones is perhaps the single most significant characteristic of the Timmins Camp. History does appear to be repeating itself in the west end of the Camp," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. "WTM will immediately expand the scale and scope of our drill program on our 100% owned properties in Timmins and welcomes the recently announced expansion of the drill program on the adjacent Thunder Creek Joint Venture."

WTM now has six expanding zones of high-grade gold mineralization located within 3 kilometres of each other in the West Timmins District: the Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones on the Thunder Creek Joint Venture, the High-grade and Central sub-zones within the Golden River West Zone, the Hwy 144 Zone where high-grade intercepts have recently been reported and now confirmation of continuity and bonanza grades from the North Zone.

The North Zone is located along the northern flank of the Golden River Trend on WTM's 100% owned Thorne Property. Historic work in the North Zone area has been re-interpreted based in large part on the recent discoveries of high-grade gold mineralization on the Company's adjacent Thunder Creek Property and within the Golden River West Zone. This work has lead to the identification of a steeply plunging zone of high-grade gold mineralization. The North Zone mineralization is characterized by silica veining and flooding associated with significant visible gold mineralization and is very similar to many of the vein-style gold deposits in the Timmins Camp. Drilling has also intersected additional gold bearing structures beneath the North Zone, the NL1 and NL2 structures, which remain open for additional testing - again characteristic of gold systems in the Camp.

On-going exploration activities are focussing on the area between the Timmins West (now Timmins) gold deposit and the Destor-Porcupine Fault, located 5.0 kilometres to the south, where multiple gold-bearing systems have been confirmed within WTM's extensive West Timmins Project land holdings. The Destor-Porcupine Fault is a deep-seat fault system which can be traced throughout the entire Timmins Camp.

      Quality Control and Assurance

Geochemical results reported are from halved drill core samples collected from WTM's 100% owned Thorne Property, part of the Company's West Timmins Gold Project. Core samples were collected by employees and consultants in the employ of the Company and are subject to the Company's quality control program. Sampling was conducted on site at the Company's exploration office in Timmins, Ontario and sealed samples were transported to Swastika Labs preparation facilities in Swastika, Ontario. Samples were assayed for gold by standard fire assay-ICP finish with a 30 gram charge. Gold values in excess of 3.0 g/t were re-analyzed by fire assay with gravimetric finish and intercepts returning in excess of 8.0 g/t, or displaying visible gold mineralization, were re-analyzed by pulp screen metallic assaying for greater accuracy. The remaining half of the drill core is stored on-site at the Company's Timmins exploration office.

For quality control purposes blank, duplicate and analytical control standards were inserted into the sample sequence at irregular intervals. Mr. Darin Wagner (M.Sc., P.Geo.), the Company's President, has acted as non-independent qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has visited the project site, examined the intervals reported and, has verified that any significant analytical discrepancies have been resolved and that the reported results meet the Company's quality control standards.

Third and Fourth Drills Added on WTM’s Thunder Creek Gold Property, Timmins, Ontario

Drilling resumes with two machines on adjacent, 100% owned, Thorne Property

(Vancouver, June 8, 2009) West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX: WTM) (the “Company”) announced today that two additional drills have now commenced testing of the high-grade Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones on the Company’s Thunder Creek Gold Property, bringing the number of active drills at Thunder Creek to four. With another two drills following up recent promising gold intercepts on WTM’s 100% owned Thorne Property located immediately to the south-east of Thunder Creek the Company has a total of six drills, all testing high-grade gold targets, on its West Timmins Gold Project.

The recently added third drill (hole TC09-73) at Thunder Creek is testing the down-plunge extension of the Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones approximately 150-200 metres below hole TC09-68, the deepest hole to date on the property, which returned 10.09 g/t gold over 4.70 metres from the Rusk Zone (NR09-12, May 5, 2009) and gold mineralization across over 122 metres through the Porphyry Zones (NR09-10, March 31, 2009).

The fourth drill, which has just commenced drilling, will target the extension of the Rusk and Porphyry Zones approximately 150 metres below hole TC09-70 and 150 metres north-east of the target zone in hole TC09-73. The other two drills on the property are drilling wedge holes targeting areas 50 to 60 metres above the interpreted intersection of the Rusk Zone and Porphyry Zones in holes TC09-68 and recently completed hole TC09-71 (for which assay results remain pending). Exploration of the Thunder Creek Property is a joint venture between WTM and Lake Shore Gold Corp. with Lake Shore acting as the operator.

Drilling to date has extended the combined Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones on the Thunder Creek Property to over 700 metres down-plunge and to over 175 metres along strike at the 750 metre vertical level. All zones remain open along strike and down-plunge. The Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones are located less than 800 metres south of the 1.3 million ounce Timmins (West) gold deposit where underground development and initial processing of development ore are underway. The underground workings at Timmins (West) could potentially provide access to the new discoveries at Thunder Creek.

Drilling has also resumed, following spring breakup, with two rigs on WTM’s 100% owned Thorne Property, which is located immediately south-east of the Thunder Creek Property. Drilling will initially target extensions to the recent high-grade gold intercepts from the North Zone, which included 13.64 g/t gold over 8.20 metres (NR09-13, May 12, 2009), and the West Zone, which included 7.53 g/t gold over 4.00 metres (NR09-11, April 16, 2009). Drilling is also anticipated to resume on the Hwy 144 Property as ground conditions allow and assay results are finalized over the next three to four weeks.

“We are very pleased with the doubling of the drilling capacity at Thunder Creek. This will enable us to continue to rapidly expand the high-grade Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones while also beginning the in-fill drilling process to move closer to initial resource definition on these exciting new high-grade gold discoveries. The broad step-out holes currently being drilled demonstrate our belief that the Thunder Creek gold system is continuing to expand and strengthen at depth” said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining. “With the completion of our recent $11.5 million dollar financing and with six drills now turning on our West Timmins Gold Project, all targeting high-grade zones of gold mineralization in the most prolific gold camp in North America, WTM is well positioned to continue our evolution and the expansion of our resource base through aggressive exploration of our gold assets in Timmins.”

Mr. Darin Wagner (P.Geo), President and CEO of the Company, is the non-independent qualified person for this release.

      Neues kam gestern:

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 11, 2009) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX: WTM.TO) (the "Company") announced today that there are no corporate developments or undisclosed material changes involving the Corporation to account for its recent rise in stock price. The Company has been advised by its joint venture partner Lake Shore Gold that additional assays from the Thunder Creek joint venture should be made available to the Company within the next four weeks. Four drills remain on site at Thunder Creek. Assay results from the Company's on-going drilling on its 100% owned Thorne and Highway 144 Properties will be released as they are finalized.

West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) ("WTM" or the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors has adopted effective immediately, a Shareholder Rights Plan subject to ratification by shareholders.

The purpose of the Shareholder Rights Plan is to provide shareholders and the Company's Board of Directors with adequate time to consider and evaluate any unsolicited bid made for the Company, to provide the Board with adequate time to identify, develop and negotiate value-enhancing alternatives, if considered appropriate, to any such unsolicited bid, to encourage the fair treatment of shareholders in connection with any take-over bid for the Company and to ensure that any proposed transaction is in the best interests of the Company's shareholders.

The rights issued under the Shareholder Rights Plan will generally become exercisable only if a person, together with its affiliates, associates and joint actors, acquires or announces its intention to acquire beneficial ownership of voting securities which when aggregated with its current holdings total 20% or more of the Company's outstanding voting securities (determined in the manner set out in the Shareholder Rights Plan), subject to certain exceptions, including a Permitted Bid or Shareholder Endorsed Insider Bid (in each case as described in the Shareholder Rights Plan). Permitted Bids must be made by way of a take-over bid circular prepared in compliance with applicable securities laws and, among other conditions, must remain open for 60 days. A Shareholder Endorsed Insider Bid is a take-over bid made by a bidder who together with its affiliates or associates and joint actors has beneficial ownership of 10% or more of the voting securities of the Company, by way of take-over bid circular to all shareholders, and in respect of which, among other things, more than 50% of the voting securities held by the independent securityholders have been tendered to the take-over bid at the time of first take-up under the take-over bid and the date of such first take-up occurs not later than the 120th calendar day following the date on which the take-over bid is commenced. A Shareholder Endorsed Insider Bid is not required to be open for a minimum period of time beyond the 35 days required under applicable securities law.

In the event that the rights issued under the Shareholder Rights Plan become exercisable, the rights will entitle the rights holders, other than any person or persons making the take-over bid, to purchase additional common shares of the Company at a substantial discount to the market price of the common shares at that time.

The rights are not being distributed in response to any specific effort to acquire control of the Company.

A copy of the Shareholder Rights Plan was provided to the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX"). The TSX has accepted notice for filing of the Shareholder Rights Plan subject to, among other things, evidence of shareholder approval of the Shareholder Rights Plan at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held on August 13, 2009 and public disclosure of this news release.

West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX: WTM) ("WTM" or the "Company") today announced the broadest high grade gold intercept ever reported from the West Timmins District - an impressive 83.40 metres (273.55 feet) grading 12.75 g/t (0.37 oz/t) gold - from hole TC-09-68b on its Thunder Creek Joint Venture in Timmins, Ontario. High-grade gold mineralization occurs throughout the entire width of the host syenite porphyry and contains a number of broad, higher grade sub-zones, including 38.22 g/t (1.11 oz/t) gold over 11.00 metres (36.08 feet).

"This is one of the broadest, high-grade gold intercepts ever reported from the Timmins Gold Camp, which ranks as the largest gold camp in North America with over 70 million ounces of gold produced over the last century" said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining Inc. "Broad high-grade gold intercepts like the one reported today, are very rare and characteristic of only a very few special situations in the Camp, including the world-class 32 million ounce Hollinger-McIntyre gold system. The Thunder Creek gold system continues to exhibit many of the hallmarks of the Hollinger-McIntyre system including abundant coarse-grained visible gold mineralization, gold mineralization over extremely broad widths in multiple zones proximal to and hosted within a porphyritic intrusion and the association of the gold mineralization with a suite of base metals including tungsten, molybdenum, zinc and lead."

Hole TC09-68b is located 50 metres above, and was wedged from the same collar as hole TC09-68, intersecting both the Rusk and Porphyry Zones with the intersections centered at approximately 750 vertical metres. The Rusk Zone in hole TC09-68b returned a 4.90 metre gold mineralized intersection including 2.20 metres grading 9.50 g/t, further confirming the continuity and grade of the Rusk Zone.

Also so gut wie Produktionsreif.

Also bald 100 jähriges Jubelbum.

Noah Timmins, Benny Hollinger , Sandy MC Intyre und Jack Wilson. Dazu gehören die folgenden Minen:

Dome Mine 14,5 mio oz und produziert noch
      Hollinger Mine 19,3 mio oz
MC Intyre Mine 10,7 mio oz

Also Ruhe bewahren.

The Thunder Creek Property is 100% owned by West Timmins Mining. Lake Shore Gold has an option to earn a 60% interest in the Thunder Creek Property by making cash and share payments of C$370,000 and 100,000 common shares of Lake Shore Gold in favour of WTM, and by completing C$1,705,000 in exploration expenditures on the Property over a five year period. The Thunder Creek Property agreement is current in its third year.

"Hochschild Mining, the Peruvian silver and gold miner, on Wednesday raised its stake in Canada's Lake Shore Gold and said it eventually planned to buy the whole company."

Dadurch verlor Aurelian 50% an Wert.

Neue News vom 100% eigenen Thorne Project.

Jul 06, 2009 08:00 ETWTM Intersects 11.15 g/t (0.33 oz/t) Gold Over 7.30 Metres (23.94 Feet) From Golden River North Zone, Thorne Property, Timmins, OntarioVANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 6, 2009) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) ("WTM" or the "Company") today announced that on-going drilling of the Golden River North Zone on the Company's 100% owned Thorne Property continues to return high-grade, visible gold-bearing intercepts at shallow depths. Drill hole GS-09-35 returned a high-grade intercept of 11.15 g/t (0.33 oz/ton) gold over 7.30 metres (23.94 feet) at a vertical depth of 195 metres. Hole GS-09-35 is located 25 metres along strike from previously announced hole GS-09-31 which returned 13.64 g/t gold over 8.20 metres (see NR09-08, March 10, 2009: http://www.westtimminsmining.com/main/?newsReleases&193) and approximately 25 metres vertically above historic drill hole TH97-223 which returned 60.30 g/t gold over 3.70 metres.

"Today's results provide further confirmation of the high-grade nature of the Golden River North Zone," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of West Timmins Mining Inc. "Combined with the recent outstanding results from our adjacent Thunder Creek Property these results further demonstrate the potential of the West Timmins Gold District and the strong similarities between the West Timmins District and the main Timmins Camp. Both areas are now known to host multiple zones of high-grade gold mineralization over widths potentially amenable to underground mining, numerous gold bearing environments, a strong spatial association between high-grade gold zones and porphyry intrusions and a tendency for multiple gold mineralized zones to cluster along large scale structures. Our 112 square kilometre West Timmins Gold Project uniquely positions WTM to benefit from the exciting new discoveries in the West Timmins Gold District."

      Guten morgen @all

Erwartet man vielleicht neue Ergebnisse.

      Ein sonniges WE wünscht

      Hallo

Die Frage: Was ist hier noch drin?

kann dir keiner beantworten, aber wirklich keiner. Nicht einmal Herr Wagner.

      Was ist möglich ?

Also mein Ziel liegt fern von 5,00 €.

Darin Wagner CEO of WTM was interviewed on the Canadian BNN TV network Fri. afternoon 7/24/'09, and had some interesting things to say about the Thunder Creek project. It can be viewed here: http://watch.bnn.ca/clip196859#clip196859

Please note, the Wagner Interview is at the very end of the broadcast, and is about nine(9) minutes long. During the first half of the broadcast, a mining analyst, Ms. Hassan, talks a little bit about Lakeshore Gold, and WTM, and a Brazilian miner, so be patient, or slide the podcast bar across the screen to fast forward the broadcast to the actual interview.

Wtm ist nicht untätig. Neues Agreement mit Probe

West Timmins Mining to Continue Option on Probe Mines' Bristol Gold Property,

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Toronto, July 28, 2009 -- The Directors of PROBE MINES LIMITED (TSX-V: PRB) ("Probe") are pleased to announce that the Company has received notification from West Timmins Mining Inc. ("WTM") that West Timmins will be continuing its option on Probe's 100%-owned Bristol Township Gold Project (see map at www.probemines.com) and is planning a drill program on the property.

Previous drilling on the southwestern section of the Bristol property, proximal to Lakeshore Gold Corp's ("Lakeshore") Timmins Mine Project and other recent gold discoveries, identified alteration similar to that associated with peripheral phases of WTM's recent high-grade porphyry zone discovery on the adjacent Thunder Creek property. WTM has indicated to Probe that this target warrants further testing and a drill program is currently slated for late summer or early fall 2009.

The Bristol Township project consists of two blocks totaling 832 hectares in 52 claims and is strategically located adjacent to Lakeshore's 1.2M ounce Timmins Mine Project and less than one kilometre from Lakeshore's and WTM's recent high-grade gold intersection in the Rusk Zone on the Thunder Creek Joint Venture. The Rusk Zone intersection represents one of the broadest intercepts reported from the West Timmins camp grading 12.75 g/t gold over an extraordinary 83.4m.

The Company is encouraged by recent exploration results in close proximity to the Bristol Project and believes the property has the potential to host similar gold mineralization. West Timmins has an option to earn a 55% interest in the Bristol Township Project by completing $1,000,000 in exploration expenditures and making cash and share payments over a 4-year period ending in June 2010. West Timmins can earn a further 15% by presenting a 43-101-compliant resource report within two years of vesting their 55% interest and making additional cash and share payments.

Aug 24, 2009 12:25 ETWest Timmins Gold Project Update
Golden River West Zone Continues to Return Gold Mineralization Over 50+ Metre Widths

West Zone Potential Extended by Over 1,200 Metres
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 24, 2009) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) ("WTM" or the "Company") today provided the following update of exploration activities on its 100% owned West Timmins Gold Project in Timmins Ontario. Highlights include the continued expansion of the Golden River West Zone and the potential extension of the Golden River West Zone by over 1,200 metres beyond the currently defined western end of the zone.

West Zone Continues to Return Broad Zones of Gold Mineralization

On-going expansion and in-fill drilling on the Golden River West Zone continues to intersect broad zones of gold mineralization ranging in width from 22.20 to 56.21 metres. Within the broad mineralized envelops are two higher-grade sub-zones which continue to demonstrate continuity to depth, including an intercept grading 10.73 g/t gold over 0.70 metres in hole GW-09-52. The West Zone remains open along strike to the West (see below) and to depth in all directions.

Drill hole GW-09-47 tested below previously reported high-grade intercepts (see NR 09-11 April 16, 2009: http://media3.marketwire.com/r/April162009release) along section 2450 E and is the deepest hole to date along this section. This hole appears to have intersected a new, broad zone of strongly anomalous gold mineralization beneath the West Zone - 53.50 metres grading 0.43 g/t gold. Hole GW-09-47 was continued to depth and successfully intersected both the Sandhill and Pond Zones, returning a high-grade intercept of 6.46 g/t gold over 1.50 metres from the Pond Zone.

West Zone Potentially Extended by 1,200 Metres

Drilling along the Golden River Trend, over 1,200 metres west of the current western margin of the West Zone inferred gold resource, has intersected anomalous gold mineralization over widths of 2.00 to 16.00 metres, including individual intercepts grading up to 6.81 g/t (0.20 oz/t) gold over 1.50 metres (see table below). These intercepts occur along an extensive geophysical anomaly which can be traced from the West Zone, through the area of the intercepts reported today and for an additional 200 to 400 metres West.

Highway 144 Drilling Continues to Return Anomalous Gold Mineralization

Additional shallow drilling in proximity to the Highway 144 gold discovery has returned a number of anomalous gold mineralized intercepts. The results appear to indicate that the Highway 144 Zone plunges to the north-east along the projected dip of the host syenite porphyry body. Holes Hwy-09-13 and Hwy-09-17 both intersected broad zones of anomalous gold mineralization similar in nature to that associated with discovery holes Hwy-09-05 and -12 and appear to be located in the footwall to the main gold mineralized zone. Hole Hwy-09-19, drilled over 200 metres to the east of holes 5 and 12-17 collared into anomalous gold mineralization hosted within the same syenite porphyry body. Additional drilling will target down-plunge extensions of the Highway 144 Zone, further test the anomalous zones of gold mineralization intersected in hole Hwy-09-19 and continue to further test the sediment-ultramafic contact zone which hosts the Rusk and Porphyry Gold Zones on the adjacent Thunder Creek Property.

      Quality Control and Assurance

Geochemical results reported are from halved drill core samples collected from WTM's 100% owned Thorne and Highway 144 Properties, part of the Company's West Timmins Gold Project. Core samples were collected by employees and consultants in the employ of the Company and are subject to the Company's quality control program. Sampling was conducted on site at the Company's exploration office in Timmins, Ontario and sealed samples were transported to ALS Chemex preparation facilities in Timmins, Ontario in the case hole GW-09-35 to GW-09-40 and Hwy-09-14 to Hwy-09-20 and to the lab facilities of Swastika Assay Labs in the case of drill holes GW-09-47 to GW-09-52. Samples were assayed for gold by standard fire assay - ICP finish with a 30 gram charge. Gold values in excess of 3.0 g/t were re-analyzed by fire assay with gravimetric finish. A number of analytical discrepancies were observed for samples returned from ALS-Chemex. These discrepancies have now been resolved to the satisfaction of the qualified person. The remaining half of the drill core is stored on-site at the Company's Timmins exploration office.

For quality control purposes blank, duplicate and analytical control standards were inserted into the sample sequence at irregular intervals. Mr. Darin Wagner (M.Sc., P.Geo), the Company's President, has acted as non-independent qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has visited the project site, examined the intervals reported and, has verified that any significant analytical discrepancies have been resolved and that the reported results now meet the Company's quality control standards.

      AUG 25, 2009 - 08:15 ET

Lake Shore Gold Continues to Establish Large Gold System at Thunder Creek, Porphyry Structure Extended to at Least 1,125 Metre Depth

      - TC09-68d intersects 12.17 grams per tonne (gpt) gold (Au) over 9.00 metres (m) within an overall drill intersection of 3.73 gpt over 80.30 m

      - TC09-68c intersects 21.86 gpt over 1.70 m, 9.13 gpt over 0.70 m, 3.17 gpt over 15.00 m and 4.17 gpt over 13.35 m from within an overall zone of 2.34 gpt over 100.25 m

      - TC09-73 successfully extends main Porphyry structure, with gold mineralization, to 1,125 metre vertical depth, potential for additional high-grade zones at this depth and below considered excellent

      - Four additional holes completed, results pending

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 25, 2009) - Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX:LSG) ("Lake Shore Gold" or the "Company") today announced results for three new holes, TC09-68c, TC09-68d and TC09-73, (2,447 metres) as part of its ongoing 22,000 metre diamond drill program at the Thunder Creek joint venture property, located immediately adjacent to Lake Shore Gold's 100% owned Timmins Mine project. The Company holds a 60% interest in the Thunder Creek property, and is the operator of the joint venture with West Timmins Mining Inc.

TC09-68c was designed to test the Rusk and Porphyry zones approximately 55 metres metres up dip from previously released hole TC09-68b (which included 12.75 gpt over 83.40 m). TC09-68c intersected multiple zones of mineralization including 21.86 gpt over 1.70 m, 9.13 gpt over 0.70 m and 3.17 gpt over 15.70 m, including 23.20 gpt over 0.50 m from the Rusk Zone and 4.17 gpt over 13.35 m from the Porphyry Zone.

TC09-68d was wedged from TC09-68c and further extended the zones of mineralization by another 35 to 40m above TC09-68c. Best intercepts in TC09-68d include 4.85 gpt over 15.70 m from the Rusk Zone, and 12.17 gpt over 9.00 m in the Porphyry. The intercepts from the Rusk Zone display strong iron-carbonate alteration within a sheared contact zone including ultramafic, sedimentary and volcanic rocks, accompanied by quartz-carbonate veining, felsic dykelets and locally strong pyrite dissemination. Mineralization in the Porphyry Zone is characterized by local quartz veining, accompanied by minor sphalerite, galena, molybdenite, scheelite and pyrite. Fine visible gold specks are commonly observed at several locations within the intrusive. When the Rusk and Porphyry zones are combined as one mineralized interval, the composite grade intersected is 2.34 gpt over 100.25 m in Hole TC09-68c and 3.73 gpt over 80.30 m in Hole TC09-68d. When compared to previously released Hole TC09-68b, the widths are similar but the grades lower. The lower grades are attributable to natural variability of gold content within the overall system which is typical of high grade coarse gold deposits. Along with previously release holes TC08-54 (5.90 gpt over 26.35 m) and TC09-68 (2.87 gpt over 71.75 m), these intersections define a thick mineralization envelope over a minimum 250 m vertical height incorporating the entire porphyry and portions of the Rusk Zone. This adds a prospective new target with bulk and/or high grade potential for the project.

TC09-73 was a major "step-out" hole designed to explore for the Rusk and Porphyry zones approximately 245 metres down dip from Hole TC09-68 and is the deepest hole drilled at the property to date. However, due to technical problems the hole had to be abandoned before crossing through the entire Porphyry unit. Before being abandoned, TC09-73 intersected the Rusk Zone and the north side of the gold bearing Porphyry unit. Where intersected, the porphyry displayed local silicification, hematization and sporadic quartz veining containing base metals, molybdenite and scheelite, which are characteristic of previously reported high grade zones from within the Porphyry. The Porphyry also contained a generally elevated level of gold with the best intercepts ranging from 2.51 gpt to 2.89 gpt over 0.50 m widths.

Tony Makuch, President and CEO of Lake Shore Gold, commented: "The results continue to expand the mineralized structures at Thunder Creek and suggest the presence of a large scale gold system on the property which is closely linked to a major Porphyry body. The Porphyry system remains open in both directions and to depth. We took a major step out with Hole TC09-73, drilling 245 metres (approximately 800 feet) down dip from our previous deepest hole and, as a result, successfully extended the mineralized porphyry unit to a vertical depth of 1,125 metres and confirmed that several good indicators for higher grade mineralization found in holes above were still present at this depth. As such, the potential for high grade zones to this depth and even further is considered excellent and the company plans to pursue this opportunity aggressively with our future drilling. We have four additional holes completed with results pending and currently have three drills working on the property."

Ihr seid jetzt alle Lake Shore Aktionäre:

Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX:LSG) ("Lake Shore Gold" or the "Company") and West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) ("West Timmins") today announced that they have signed a definitive business combination agreement under which Lake Shore Gold has agreed to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of West Timmins. The business combination will create the new large-scale, wholly-owned Timmins West Gold Mine Complex on the western Timmins mining trend, an extension of the world-class Timmins mining trend where approximately 70 million ounces of gold have been produced over the last century. The Timmins West Gold Mine Complex will consist of the Company's adjacent 100%-owned Timmins Mine, with existing mine infrastructure, the Thunder Creek Joint Venture ("Thunder Creek"), where high-grade intercepts have been reported within 800 metres of the Timmins shaft, and an extensive land package of adjacent exploration properties, giving Lake Shore Gold a dominant position in this highly prospective area.

Under terms of the agreement announced today:

      - West Timmins shareholders will receive 0.73 of a Lake Shore Gold share per West Timmins share

      - Pro forma the transaction, Lake Shore Gold will be owned 67% by current Lake Shore Gold shareholders and 33% by current West Timmins shareholders

      - The transaction values West Timmins at approximately C$319 million based on current shares outstanding

      - Three of 13 seats of the Lake Shore Gold Board will go to West Timmins

      - Transaction was unanimously approved by the Boards of both companies, with the commitment of votes representing 5.3% of West Timmins common shares having been secured

      - Transaction to be completed by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement

Tony Makuch, President and CEO of Lake Shore Gold, commented: "This is an exciting time for the shareholders of both Lake Shore Gold and West Timmins as we take a very important step towards building Canada's next mid-tier gold producer. Through this combination we are creating a dominant land position which covers about 130 square kilometers along the Timmins gold structure west of the Mattagami River Fault, where the geologic setting is very similar to the geology of past producing mines in Timmins. The discoveries at Timmins Mine and Thunder Creek confirm the exploration potential of this large land package and suggest that the potential for additional discoveries is excellent. We are also consolidating Thunder Creek and the Timmins Mine into one property, creating a wholly-owned mining complex with the potential for large-scale, long-life operations, well beyond what was originally envisioned at the Timmins Mine. We can also potentially expedite production from Thunder Creek by at least three years, and realize significant synergies, through the use of the Timmins Mine infrastructure, permits, closure plans, management and workforce. We may also realize the reserve and resource scale to justify a dedicated mill, providing the potential for further synergies."

Lake Shore Gold and West Timmins currently own 60% and 40% of Thunder Creek, respectively, with Lake Shore Gold's other Timmins assets comprised of projects nearing production, including the 100%-owned Timmins Mine and Bell Creek Complex (Bell Creek Mill and Mine and Vogel and Schumacher Properties). Lake Shore Gold is the operator of Thunder Creek. In addition to its 40% interest in Thunder Creek, West Timmins has approximately 120 square kilometres of prospective wholly-owned exploration property in close proximity to Thunder Creek. Among these properties are the Thorne Property, with a near 450,000 ounce inferred resource and recent encouraging drill results including 11.15 gpt over 7.30 metres on July 6, 2009, and the 144 Property, with 4.0 kilometres of the same volcanic/ultramafic, intrusive/sedimentary contact which hosts the Timmins and Thunder Creek deposits. In Mexico, West Timmins owns 100% of the high-grade Lluvia de Oro gold-silver and Montana de Oro projects.

Darin Wagner, President of West Timmins said: "This merger allows our shareholders to rapidly transition from an exploration to a near-term production scenario and still participate in the exploration upside of the combined assets of the two companies moving forward. The marriage of Thunder Creek with the Timmins Mine infrastructure, the Bell Creek Complex and the exploration potential of our assets in Timmins are all a natural fit. Through this transaction we reduce our effective interest in the Thunder Creek joint venture from 40% to 33%, in the combined company, and in doing so we add a significant interest in the Timmins Mine, the Bell Creek Complex and additional exploration potential. This business combination will allow for a rapid pace of development at Thunder Creek which provides an excellent opportunity to significantly increase the resource base and future production profile of the new company. The Board of Directors of West Timmins recommends that shareholders vote in favour of the transaction and the creation of a new aggressive, growth focused gold company."

Mr. Makuch added: "Once the transaction has been completed, we plan to commence an aggressive underground advanced exploration program at Thunder Creek, accessing mineralization at the 240 metre level (where results have included 24.61gpt over 7.0 metres) from the Timmins Mine ramp and deeper mineralization at the 650 metre level (where results have included 12.75gpt over 83.4 metres) from the Timmins Mine shaft. Based on our current schedule, we expect to be into the Thunder Creek mineralization by the fourth quarter of 2010 and to be bulk sampling before the end of the year. The Timmins Mine shaft has been designed to support a much larger operation than originally envisioned in the pre-feasibility study. We are also considering deepening the shaft from 710 metres to 1,200 metres. Furthermore, over the next year we will be deciding whether to undertake an expansion of our wholly-owned Bell Creek Mill from 1,500 tonnes per day currently to 3,000 tonnes per day, or to construct a new, stand-alone mill west of Timmins to process ore from our Timmins West Gold Mine Complex. We have made excellent progress with our growth plans to date, and by completing this transaction have taken another important step towards becoming Canada's next mid-tier gold producer."

      Summary of Transaction

The proposed business combination between West Timmins and Lake Shore Gold is expected to be completed by way of a court approved plan of arrangement whereby each West Timmins common share will be exchanged for 0.73 of a Lake Shore Gold share and West Timmins will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lake Shore Gold. The number of Lake Shore Gold shares received upon exercise, and the exercise price, of West Timmins' outstanding options and warrants will be adjusted proportionately to reflect the share exchange ratio. After giving effect to the transaction, current West Timmins shareholders will own approximately 33% of Lake Shore Gold (calculated on a fully-diluted basis). The transaction will be subject to the approval of holders of not less than 66 2/3% of the West Timmins common shares voted at a special meeting of shareholders that will be called to approve the transaction. Full details of the transaction will be included in the Management Information Circular to be filed with the regulatory authorities and mailed to West Timmins shareholders in accordance with applicable securities laws.

A Special Committee comprised of independent members of West Timmins' Board was formed to consider the transaction. At meetings of the Special Committee and Board of Directors of West Timmins held after the close of markets on August 26, 2009, RBC Capital Markets delivered an oral fairness opinion to the effect that as of the date thereof the consideration to be received under the transaction is fair from a financial point of view to the shareholders of West Timmins. The West Timmins directors and officers have also agreed to vote their shares in favour of the transaction under the terms of an agreement with Lake Shore Gold.

The definitive business combination agreement entered into in connection with the transaction includes a commitment by West Timmins not to solicit or initiate discussions concerning alternative transactions to the proposed transaction. If the transaction is not completed, West Timmins has agreed to pay a termination fee to Lake Shore Gold, under certain circumstances, of C$9 million. West Timmins has also provided Lake Shore Gold with certain other customary rights, including a right to match competing offers.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions including receipt of all necessary court and regulatory approvals, including the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange. The West Timmins shareholder meeting is expected to be held on or before November 9, 2009 and the transaction is expected to close shortly thereafter.

Management Team and Board of Directors

Tony Makuch, President & CEO of Lake Shore Gold will continue to act in his current role within the new company. The Board of Directors of Lake Shore Gold will be comprised of 13 members, 10 from the Board of Lake Shore Gold and 3 from the Board of West Timmins.

      Advisors and Counsel

Lake Shore Gold's financial advisor is BMO Capital Markets and its legal counsel is Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP. The financial advisor to West Timmins' Special Committee is RBC Capital Markets and its legal counsel is Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. Legal counsel to West Timmins is Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. In addition, West Timmins retained Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. as an advisor.

      Hallo

I found the listing under LTGB, I guess they got new symbol after consolidation. West Timmins is a good company, and business combination with Lake Shore is a good move, Soon there will be production at Timmins West deposit.

      Hallo

der guten Ordnung halber möchte ich mitteilen:

Das Delisting wird am 11.11.2009 erfolgen. Danach ist West Timmings Mining Geschichte.

Closing of the transaction follows a vote by West Timmins Mining shareholders on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, in which approximately 98% of votes cast were in favour of the business combination. Court approval of the plan of arrangement was received yesterday, Thursday, November 5, 2009. Shares of West Timmins are anticipated to be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
