      Hi Leute !!!

Was meint Ihr zu diesem Wert????

      @Brasil!

      Viele Gruesse.

      Hi Pufo !

MAJOR VIDEO OVER BROADBAND ENDORSEMENT; REITERATING STRONG BUY
      * Cisco Systems (CSCO: $68 5/8) has entered the digital video delivery space with the announced acquisition of PixStream Inc. Cisco plans to enable its customers to provide broadcast-quality video over broadband networks.
      * As Internet video quality and delivery improve, demand should accelerate for the digital editing and streaming tools provided by Media 100.
      * Given PixStream’s $369 million acquisition price, valuations for Media 100 and many other streaming companies look very attractive.
      * Media 100 is nearing the end of beta testing for Terran’s Media Cleaner 5 with very positive feedback from its test base. We anticipate an official release during September for this industry-leading product.
      * We expect Media 100 to continue to report solid financial results and increasingly become recognized for its leadership in streaming media. We reiterate our Strong Buy and 12-month target price of $70.
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      SUMMARY AND INVESTMENT CONCLUSION
      Broadband Market Leader Endorses Video
Cisco Systems took a major step in its plan to expand capacity to provide high-speed voice, data, and video systems to the business world. The company announced the acquisition of PixStream Inc., a maker of hardware and software for the delivery of digital video over high-speed networks.
Cisco expects video to account for a growing percentage of traffic on the Internet as more consumers get broadband access and use their PCs for rich media functions. The acquisition of PixStream should enable Cisco to accelerate the delivery of broadcast-quality video over broadband networks.
Cisco is the number-one market leader in broadband cable systems and the number-two market leader in broadband DSL systems. PixStream’s technology extends Cisco’s broadband market leadership into video services, allowing cable, DSL, and wireless providers to deliver a single end-to-end solution for the delivery and management of broadband video services. Cisco’s strategy is to enable its customers to provide Internet or IP-based entertainment services such as broadcast-quality TV, video-on-demand (VOD) programming and multiplayer games over broadband DSL, cable, and wireless networks.
Streaming Valuations Looking Attractive Cisco plans to pay $369 million in stock for PixStream, which was founded in 1996 and has 156 employees. We estimate the company has a roughly $5 million annual revenue run rate. This means that Cisco is paying over 70x revenues for this small infrastructure company. We believe the high multiple that Cisco is paying should help valuations across the entire streaming media space.
Media Cleaner 5 on the Way
Media 100 is nearing the end of beta testing for its Terran Interactive division’s Media Cleaner 5. This video compression product is the number-one market leader for streaming video over the Internet. We have heard from some of Media 100’s customer that there is no other product in the market that can match the functionality of Media Cleaner. The beta version has received very positive feedback from its test base. We anticipate an official release sometime in September.
      Valuation
We have restated Q1:00 to reflect the Digital Origin acquisition. Since the pooling has resulted in a loss of $0.06 for that quarter, our fiscal 2000 estimated EPS is now $0.31, down from $0.42. However, estimates going forward have not been changed.
In our judgment, Media 100 has entered the streaming media market over the past year in a very successful way. We project over 2/3 of Media 100’s revenues in 2001 will come from streaming media businesses. During its transition, we estimate that the company will remain profitable with healthy margins and strong revenue growth. Multiples for streaming media companies average 15-20x, and traditional hardware-dependent content creation multiples average 1-3x. As Media 100 increases its leadership in streaming multimedia, we conservatively expect the stock’s EV/revenue multiple to expand to 11x from the current 3.0x, resulting in our 12-month target price of $70.
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Media 100, based in Marlboro, Massachusetts, is a pioneer in digital video systems. The company’s Media 100 product line makes broadcast-quality program authoring affordable and accessible to a broad market of digital program authors. The company recently added streaming media capability through the acquisition of Terran Interactive. With over 50,000 systems installed worldwide, Media 100 digital video systems are used in applications as diverse as broadcast and cable television, education and training, animation, game development, and law enforcement. www.media100.com

Media 100`S Terran Interactive Launches Cleaner 5
LOS GATOS, Calif., Sep 11, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Breakthrough Interactive Streaming Media Solution Enables Creation and Streaming of Interactive Video on the Web

Terran Interactive, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Media 100 Inc. (NASDAQ: MDEA), today announced the industry`s first complete camera-to-web streaming media solution -- Cleaner 5. Cleaner 5 is the first interactive streaming media design solution to enable web designers, web developers and Internet broadcasters to quickly and easily produce highly-interactive, dynamic streaming media content for next generation, interactive video-enabled web sites. Cleaner 5 redefines how streaming media is created and delivered by making the video itself interactive. Using Cleaner 5, web designers can embed interactive, multidimensional instructions directly into streaming media content to create compelling interactive Internet video programs that optimize the online viewing experience for consumers of enhanced entertainment and e-commerce web sites.

"Cleaner 5 presents a valuable proposition for the web designer or Internet broadcaster looking to create a new Internet experience, using streaming media as the catalyst for innovation and interactivity," said John Molinari, chief executive officer of Media 100. "Cleaner 5 represents a new paradigm in web design where the streaming content becomes interactive. We`re giving web designers new and better tools to create and deliver immersive and emotive streaming content to online viewers."

John Geyer, vice president of product marketing for Terran Interactive added, "Cleaner 5 solves the fundamental challenges facing web designers today - how to create high-quality, highly-interactive streaming media content for the web in all formats and at all data rates with a single, powerful, tightly integrated solution. We`re building on the strong foundation of Media Cleaner to provide an entirely new approach to interactive web design. Cleaner 5 takes web development and interactive streaming creation to an entirely new level with one solution - we`ve developed the next killer app for the Internet."

Cleaner 5: Interactive Streaming Design Tools That Redefine Web Development

Cleaner 5 is the Internet`s first camera-to-web streaming media design solution to enable web designers and Internet broadcasters to create highly-interactive, evocative streaming media content for the web in four simple steps: Capture, Author, Encode and Publish. By radically simplifying the streaming media workflow, Cleaner 5 enables web designers with minimal streaming experience to achieve powerful, high-impact results. Additionally, Cleaner 5 opens multiple opportunities to professionals looking to leverage their valuable video assets and content creation skills and apply themselves to interactive streaming media design and development.

Cleaner 5 provides web designers and Internet broadcasters - or virtually anyone looking to stream video on the web -- with a complete solution for creating interactive streaming media content, from camera to web:

-- Capture: Users can capture video content from any digital video (DV) camcorder and import it directly into Cleaner 5. Users can create interactive streaming media programs from start to finish. Additionally, for those looking to create high end steaming content in a high volume environment, such as Internet broadcasters, Cleaner 5 seamlessly integrates with leading content creation systems, like Media 100 i and iFinish. Cleaner 5 also seamlessly integrates with the popular Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro digital video editing systems.

-- Author: Interactive streaming design is made possible by EventStream(TM)technology, the authoring capability that enables web designers to create streaming media that controls all elements of a web site. Using EventStream, web designers can finally create streaming media content specifically for the web, and not simply re-purpose content originally intended for other means of broadcast, like television. EventStream enables web designers to embed interactive, multidimensional instructions directly into streaming media programs to trigger highly visual, content-rich capabilities, including graphics, Flash animations, Java applications - all synchronized with the streaming video on the web site.

-- Encode: Cleaner 5 is the only cross-platform solution that supports all major streaming media formats, including RealSystem, Windows Media, QuickTime, MP-3, as well as AVI, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, and enables users to quickly encode streaming media content with unsurpassed image quality.

-- Publish: Cleaner 5 is the only interactive streaming design solution that enables customers to publish finished streaming content directly to a streaming web server - directly from within the Cleaner 5 application. This unique benefit, called StreamPublisher, provides a tremendous advantage to web designers and Internet broadcasters who demand increasingly fast time-to-web capability to deliver timely, compelling content online.

Terran Interactive also announced today that Cleaner 5 will be an integral technology component to Media 100`s future streaming media systems, software and services offerings. Cleaner 5 has been, and will continue to be, tightly integrated with products such as Media 100 i, iFinish, EditDV, as well as with Media 100`s services offerings from Streamriver Networks.

      Pricing and Availability

Cleaner 5 will begin shipping in October 2000 with an SRP $599 (USD). Existing Media Cleaner customers can upgrade to Cleaner 5 for $179. New users that purchase Media Cleaner Pro version 4 after September 11, 2000 can upgrade to Cleaner 5 for $49 with proof of purchase until December 1, 2000. Cleaner 5 will be available directly from Terran and a wide variety of resellers throughout North America.

Cleaner 5 will also be available in French, German and Japanese. The localized French and German versions will begin shipping in mid-October and will be available from local distribution and resellers. The localized Japanese version will be available at the end of October 2000.

      Aktuelle Marktcap. : ca. 32,6 Mill. US-$
      Umsatz 2000: 72,9 Mill. US-$
      Verlust 2000: 10,4 Mill. US-$
