Warum gibt es in USA plötzlich steigende Kurse bei deutlich höheren Umsätzen ?

Heute hat First Ecom bei einem für diese Aktie sehr hohem Volumen um über 20 % zugelegt und keiner weiß warum.
Allerdings ist der Kurs damit gerade mal wieder über die 1 $-Marke gekommen.

Einer der wenigen bekannten Kunden von First Ecom, die Asia for Sale Inc. ist heute von der SEC-Kommission mit einem Ticker-Anhang "E" gestraft worden (AFSI --> AFSIE). Das geschieht immer dann, wenn gegen die SEC-Regel verstoßen wird. Der Kurs an der OTC BB ist mit 0,10 $ (von ursprünglich 5 $)auch nicht gearde berauschend. Diese Tatsache kann bestimmt nicht der Grund sein, warum heute der Kurs von FECC so stark gestiegen ist. Vielleicht auch nur eine der üblichen Kursmanipulationen bei volumenschwachen Aktien.

Alles ist möglich. Auch CMGI ist um ca. 100 % in einer Woche gestiegen, obwohl weder neue News da sind oder sich die Fundamentaldaten geändert hätten. So ist nun mal die Börse --- keiner weiß was, aber es wird trotzdem verkauft und gekauft.

Bei FECC ist alles möglich:

- Kursmanipulation
- allgemeine Erholung der Hightechs und Highpechs
- höhere Gewalt
- tatsächliche gute News, die nur wir nicht kennen
- Aufspringen von Schwachsinnigen, die glauben das steigende Preise auch in Zukunft steigen

etc., etc.

Da ich investiert bin, hoffe ich auf fundamentale Neuigkeiten, die den Kurs auf $ 331 hochtreiben (laut Zang im RB).

Nun ist es geschehen. First Ecom geht zusammen mit der Firma Gasco Energy und verkauft sein e-commerce Business an eine dritte Firma.

Das war`s. Ab jetzt sind dei Aktionäre nicht mehr in der new economy investiert sondern in der old(est) economy mit Gasco (OTC BB: GASE).

PS: Mal sehen, was der Kurs kommende Woche macht! Keine Ahnung was das eigentlich heißt. Vielleicht ist das ja sogar gut für den Kurs, denn schlißlich scheinen sich ja einige Insider schon eingedeckt zu haben. Hohe Umsätze und steigende Kurse sind ja erst einmal positiv zu sehen. Aber wer weiß das bei dieser Garagenbude schon.

New Company will have Significantly Increased Market Capitalization and Create Greater Shareholder Value

Gasco Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: GASE) - a company that acquires and explores petroleum and natural gas properties in the United States today announced that it had entered into a memorandum of understanding with First Ecom.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: FECC, BSX: FECC, FECC BH), a global provider of electronic payment processing solutions, concerning a proposed merger of the companies.
The intended results of the merger, should the transactions proposed in the MOU be completed, will result in First Ecom owning all of the outstanding shares of Gasco so that Gasco is wholly owned by First Ecom. As part of the proposed transaction, First Ecom would transfer all of its e-commerce assets to a separate company and distribute all of its holdings in this company to First Ecom`s shareholders of record as of a date to be determined. At the conclusion the transactions, the survivor of the First Ecom - Gasco merger would have no interest in the new e-commerce company; the former shareholders of Gasco would own a majority of the merged company`s shares; and the name of the merged company would be changed to a name that better reflects the business of exploring for and developing natural gas resources. The current shareholders of First Ecom would have shares in both the merged company and the new e-commerce company.
Consummation of the transactions outlined in the MOU are subject to the completion of satisfactory due diligence investigations by both First Ecom and Gasco, negotiating and executing a definitive agreement, and obtaining the necessary corporate and regulatory approvals.
