Zum Thema FONIX möchte ich mal kurz was sagen:

Ich verfolge die Aktie seit ca. 2 Jahren und bin auch Aktionär bei dieser Firma.

Wie immer gibt es viele Spekulationen.... es ist Richtig, dass einge gute Softwares bei FONIX im gange sind, aber diese Brauchen Zeit! Entwickeln, Testen und und und!

Wer das Gefühl hat, das die Aktie in den nächsten Tagen auf 1 USD klettert der sollte schnell noch mal zum Kiosk gehen und einen Lottoschein ausfüllen!

Ich denke das der Boden bis auf ca. 0.14 USD gehen kann!

Nach Oben ist vieles möglich, (vor allem "dank" einigen Zockern hier unter uns!

Solche Prognosen kann keiner stellen. Tatsache ist, daß Fonix im Bereich Speechtechnology führend ist und sich die Kundenliste und Vertragspartner von Fonix wie ein who is who des Internets liest. Hier seien mit Microsoft, Siemens, Motorolla, und Siebel nur einige wenige genannt.
Weiterhin hat Fonix mittlerweile eine Filiale in Asien aufgemacht um sich auch hier gerade im Bereich Speechtechnology für Autonavigationssysteme zu etablieren.
Die Einnahmen liegen bis jetzt jedoch noch extrem niedrig, da die Produkte noch nicht serienmäßig hergestellt werden.
Wenn dies geschieht, wird bei Fonix der Rubel rollen.

Dann kann so eine Aktie auch innerhalb kürzester Zeit auf 10-20$ steigen.

Doch hierfür müsste natürlich alles nach Plan laufen, die Aktie wieder im NASDAQ aufgenommen werden etc.
Eine so kleine Firma kann jedoch auch von heut auf morgen pleite gehen, das sollte man nie ausschließen.

Ich glaube an Fonix und halte mich an das Motto:

"strong buy, long term hold"

und hoffe es geht mir irgendwann wie den Coca-Cola Millionären.

Gibt mir zu denken.Ich halte selbst eine anzahl dieser papiere,aber nachkaufen....na ich weiß nicht.
`Meine skepsis hat mich vor größeren schäden geschützt,war nämlich auch schon drauf und dran zu verbilligen.

Das ist auch verständlich den Fonix muß erst einmal nachweisen, daß
es aus guten Produkten auch Umsatz generieren kann. Mittlerweile
finde ich es gar nicht so unangenehm wenn mein Computer mir etwas
vorlesen würde. Zeitsparend ist es allemal. Also ohne nachhaltiges
Umsatzwachstum kein Kursanstieg. Alles andere ist halt nur schöne
Fiction.

Hab auch FONX. Seit 1 1/2 Jahren so etwa.

Ging ja heute ganz schön ab. Meine Meinung steht in anderen treads.
Trotzdem, glaube ich auch an die Sprechtechnologie, und somit auch an Fonix.
Hab ganz zu Beginn meiner Aktionärslaufbahn die Handelsaussetzung an der Nas und dannach am OTC mitgemacht. Das hat mich villeicht geschockt. Immerhin 5 Mille waren plötzlich weg.

Also hoffen wir das Beste.

hab fonx schon ne ganze weile auf meiner watchlist, ne hitec-schmiede mit grossen partnern und tätig in nem zukunftsträchtigen bereich. das problem ist, daß sie ihrer zeit weit vorraus sind und mit ihrer technologie erst in ein oder zwei jahren ernsthafte umsätze generieren können.

das macht die company zu einem ziemlichen wackelkandidaten, den die verschuldung muß enorm sein und ist wahrscheinlich nur zu kompensieren, wenn sie weitere shares ausgeben, was aber den inneren wert jeder einzelnen aktie saumäßig verwässert. es sind jetzt schon 320 millionen (tendenz steigend), d.h. die firma hat ne marktkapitalisierung von 32 mil. dollar. ganz schön heftig. zudem ist das ding fest in der hand von daytradern und somit ein heisses eisen für jeden ernsthaften investor.
im moment würde ich sowieso ganz die hände davon lassen, also auch nicht nachkaufen, weil jetzt am otc-bb die "tax loss selling"-saison beginnt, also die verbliebenen longs dazu tendieren, verluste zu realisieren und sie gegenüber dem finanzamt mit ihren gewinnen verrechnen. ich glaube das ist auch der grund dafür, das heute trotz der news das ding gefallen und kurz davor ist, den kurzfristigen aufwärtstrend nach unten zu verlassen. wenn es so kommen sollte, dann sehen wir in paar tagen das teil bei 0.07$.
spekulativ könnte man aber dann zufassen, aber nur mit kleinen geld.

von der technologie her müsste es eine turnaround-company sein - aber vielleicht verhungern sie auch am ausgestrecktem arm ihrer grossen partner. könnte für diese auch vom vorteil sein. davon hab ich aber keine ahnung.

Verträge mit grossen Unternehmen sind unterschrieben, die Umsetzung der abgeschlossenen Verträge erfolgt aber z.T erst in Monaten. Gebt diesem Unternehmen Zeit.

Dilution ist sicherlich das Hauptproblem, dies wird vor allem deutlich wenn man die neusten News liest.

Ich glaube aber dass die bei Fonx genau wissen was sie tun. Viele Unternehmen sind während dieser doch sehr schwierigen Zeit zu Grunde gegangen. Fonix wirds überleben.

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has upped the ante in the burgeoning world of the converged device. In February, they unveiled the Jornada 928. This week, at the Microsoft Mobility Developer Conference in London, a Utah company gave it a voice.

Fonix Corporation announced that HP has licensed both its Text-to-Speech (TTS) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) solutions for the Jornada 928 Wireless Digital Assistant (WDA). Based in Salt Lake City, Fonix provides speech technology solutions for wireless, Internet and telephony systems as well as for vehicle telematics.

European consumers, who will get their first chance to own a Jornada 928 with Fonix by the end of this quarter, won`t have to go through the process of training their voices to the device. Lynn Shepherd, vice president and general manager of mobile and wireless solutions for Fonix, said that because their Fonix Speech Solutions are based on neural networks, they are able to create better speech recognition.

"Neural networks allow the system to correctly recognize signals from sources they`ve never recognized before," Shepherd said.

Neural Networks are systems of programs and data structures approximating the operation of the human brain. So the user trains the device with his or her voice without knowing it, but the device does all the work.

"Dialing with your voice used to be limited to 20 to 30 names you`d train with your voice," he said.

Users in the UK, and French- and German-speaking countries will be able to access contacts and place telephone calls by speaking the name or telephone number of the person they wish to call hands-free, without having to view the WDA display. The Fonix solution will speak directly to the user, requesting the information needed to place the call.

Not a revolutionary concept, no, but the Jornada 928 will be the first of the hybrid devices to leverage these technologies.

"HP customers will now experience the freedom and ease that voice-activated dialing offers," said Emmanuel Klotz, HP Jornada Europe Business Manager.

On the other hand, Fonix had specific reasons behind their desire to collaborate with HP. According to Shepherd, the Jornada`s form factor (meaning the size and shape of the device) is the best in the industry. He added that its ARM-compatible OMAP processor "gives plenty of horsepower to complete complex speech recognition tasks."

Lastly, Shepherd said that HP`s reputation and success with audio technology made a relationship with the Jornada maker a win-win situation.

Immer das alte Problem nichts genaues weis man nicht. Aber
ich denke das Marktpotential ist groß genug damit sich auch
fonix eine Scheibe vom Markt abschneiden kann. Ich denke
schon das fonix in absehbarer Zeit einen kostendeckenden
Umsatz erwirtschaften kann. Alles hängt meiner Meinung nach
derzeit davon ab wie die "Vorleseprogramme" beim Kosumenten
in Amerika ankommen. Hoffen wir das Beste.

Hallo jli,

na ja ich habe wieder gewaltig nachgekauft, vor allem bio`s amgen - zu dem kk ein schnäppchen, vrtx u. mlnm und hochspekulativ eine curis am freitag für 0,90 euro. medigene halte ich noch - kk vor ein paar wochen 4,75 euro, na die lasse ich auch ein zwei jahre liegen. dann habe ich noch den dit-bio fond - 100 shares zu ca. 80 euro gekauft. der liegt jetzt wieder bei knapp 50 euro. hat sich eigentlich in den letzten tagen recht gut erholt. ich denke einmal, daß sich die bio`s allgemein wieder recht gut erholen werden, wobei ich dir als sichere anlage hier einen fond empfehlen würde. die bios habe ich in meinem depot wieder übergewichtet.

dann habe ich noch eine entrust, kk bei 2,20 euro - die ist in den letzten tagen auf ca. 3,50 euro hochgelaufen. aktienrückkaufprogramm von 7 mio shares und knapp am break even und vor allem einen auftrag von der us-regierung u. 150 mio in cash. für mich ein top wert, den würde ich mal beobachten.

chinadot.com - ca. 400 mio in cash, ankündigung break-even, zahlen am 13.08. für mich ein top-wert mit hinweis auf die olymiade in china. außerdem ist da aol mit im boot u. partner wie eine oracle, ich glaube noch ibm und andere, ich müßte hier aber nachsehen. die könnten normalerweise von ihren zinsen leben oder anderst herum, der noch-verlust deckt sich durch die zinseinnahmen. aber hier sollte man etwas geduld mitbringen. ich liege hier so im schnitt bei knapp 3 euro, wobei ich hier mittlerweile eine ganze menge shares besitze.

und dann habe ich mir vor ein paar tagen noch eine ce consumer u. eine acg hochspekulativ ins depot gelegt, mit dem hinweis, daß nächstes jahr der halbleiterbereich einen zuwachs von 23 und in 2004 von 20 % zu verzeichnen hat.

na ja und dann noch eine pironet, eigentlich ein gutes unternehmen, was der kursverlauf eigentlich nicht wiederspiegelt.

und natürlich eine insp.

traden nur mit einer ariba, redback und ein paar anderen werten, obwohl ich derzeit bei einer redback die kursverluste nicht ganz nachvollziehen kann. hier ist eine nokia mit 10% mit einer option auf 20% mit im boot und eine rbak hat in den letzten wochen 5 großaufträge an land gezogen. und vor allem die haben ein super produkt entwickelt.

Danke für Deien Info`s. Aus Biotec Aktien habe ich mich bis
auf Xoma vor zwei Jahren zurückgehalten.

China.com ist sicherlich eine überlegenswertes Investment da
dort noch riesige Marktpotentiale brach liegen. Daneben
erachte ich noch Pacific Century Cyberworks als
interessanten Wert.

Ariba hat sich konsolidiert und ist derzeit in einer guten
strategischen Ausgangsposition. Mit einer
Marktkapitalisierung von 600 Mio scheint mir die Aktie
derzeit aber noch zu hoch bewertet. Sollte Ariba weiter
zurücksetzen steige ich auf jeden Fall ein.

die biotechs scheinen wieder im kommen zu sein, vor allem mit dem hintergrund, daß die techs doch im großen und ganzen mäßige zahlen abliefern. normalerweise sollte man hier nur die guten werte kaufen. schau dir mal folgendes an:

ariba liegt derzeit so in einer range zwischen 2 und 3 usd.
ich hatte ariba schon als sie bei 180 usd standen. zum glück hatte ich hier rechtzeitg verkauft. ariba trade ich schon seit langem und hatte eigentlich immer das glück den richtigen kurs zu erwischen. mein bester kauf war hier bei 1,68 usd. verkauf dann bei ca. 6,5o usd. da wurde mir die sache dann zu heiß. mein letzter kauf war bei 2,15 usd, ausstieg bei 3,18 usd. und jetzt warte ich einfach mal ab.

Chinawerte wird meiner einschätzung nach der renner der nächsten jahre, vielleicht nicht heute, aber hier muß man wirklich etwas geduld mitbringen.

Digital Assistant: HP Jornada 928 WDA

Hewlett-Packard stellt auf der CeBIT 2002 seine erste Kombination aus PDA und GSM/GPRS-fähigem Mobiltelefon vor: den HP Jornada 928 WDA (Wireless Digital Assistant). Mit dem HP Jornada 928 WDA ist der Benutzer überall erreichbar und kann von einem Gerät aus jederzeit E-Mails senden und abrufen, Termine planen, im Internet surfen, telefonieren oder HP Mobile E-Services in Anspruch nehmen. Der WDA wiegt 194 Gramm und ist mit den Maßen 137 x 77,8 x 16,7 Millimeter klein und kompakt. Das Modell besitzt zwei Displays: Eine farbige Anzeige mit 65.536 Farben für die Eingabe von Daten sowie ein kleines blau hintergrundbeleuchtetes Display, dass parallel für die Telefonfunktion genutzt wird. Due to the severe downturn in the tele-communications industry over the last two years and continuing uncertainly as to its recovery, Fonix has eliminated its existing sales, marketing and engineering development of the computer telephony business unit. Nur wenn Du Geld übrig hast und gute Nerven. Sollte sich fonx mit seinen Produkten am Markt durchsetzen und nicht vorher Pleite gehen, werden die eine ganz große Nummer. Eine Hammernachricht wäre, dass Microsoft das Vorleseprogramm von Fonx mit Windows ausliefert oder sogar in Windows integriert.

Reverse Split wohl eher nicht, die sind ja nicht umsonst OTC gelistet. Zu 0,04 verkauft Dir in Deutschland derzeit niemand welche. Kleine Stückzahlen gehen ab und mal zu 0,06 übern Tresen. fonix ist wie gesgt derzeit noch ein Spasswert und eine Depotbeimischung für Risikofreudige.

Ich hab Dich schon verstanden, aber ein Kurs über 1 Dollar
ist nur an der Nasdaq nötig. Ob zu viele Aktien am Markt sind
hängt davon ab wie dynamisch sich der Umsatz in Zukunft

Wenn Du Verluste sportlich siehst kannst Du auch kaufen. Ich
habe 60000 Stück zu 0,10 im Depot. Auf jeden Fall solltest Du
Dein Depot noch durch ein paar "sichere Werte" mit hohem
Umsatz und guten Geschäftsprognosen splitten.

Zur Geschäftsentwicklung kann ich nicht viel sagen. General
Magic und Lernout und Houspie sind vor kurzem Pleite
gegangen. Bei fonix besteht das Risiko jederzeit auch.
Sollten die Konsumerprodukte gut ankommen sehe ich eine
realistische Chance das fonix durchkommt.
