Headliners Initiates Major Stock Buyback

MONTCLAIR, N.J., July 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Headliners Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTC BB:HLEG.OB - News) announced today that its Board of Directors had voted to authorize its Chairman and CEO Eduardo Rodriguez to begin a buyback of up to 2,000,000 shares of the company`s common stock.

Headliners recently purchased a group of seven dance clubs, each in a different state, to add to its twenty-year old chain of Rascals comedy clubs. This addition dramatically increased annual revenue, positive cash flows and a measurable profit. Other expansion opportunities are being investigated, including the acquisition of existing venues and the opening of new club locations.

Mr. Rodriguez commented on the buyback: ``With a per share price of about 28 cents, it makes our market cap about $4,000,000. This is less than 25% of our annual revenue. If that doesn`t make the stock an absolute bargain, nothing does. Headliners may be the most under priced stock on the bulletin board and we intend to take advantage of this for the company and its remaining loyal shareholders``.

ich hab letztes jahr im sommer diese aktien in massen erworben. der kurs ist innerhalb von einer woche so weit hoch, daß ich meinen stand verdreifacht hatte. da ich leider so gierig war, hab ich nicht verkauft. hätte nie gedacht, daß diese aktie so berg ab geht. nach dem kapitalsplitting hat sich bei der aktie nichts mehr getan. zwar hab ich alle aktien noch im bestand aber leider mit nem riesen verlust
hat irgendjemand infos zu dieser aktie???????

Headliners hat in den vergangenen Monaten seinen Aktionären wenig Freude machen können. Eine katastrophale Kursentwicklung, die gemessen an der Marktkapitalisierung von über 100 Mio. USD auf heute gerade noch 2,6 Mio USD beträgt!!!
Eigentlich kann es nur noch Aufwärts gehen. Das scheint auch der Vorstand so zu sehen, da er die Aktien bei einem Kurs von 27 Cent für viel zu günstig erachtet und deshalb angekündigt hat 2 Mio. Shares zu erwerben. Noch hat er keine Aktien erworben und bei dem geringen Volumen wird alleine schon deshalb der Kurs in Bewegung kommen.
Die Threadüberschrift ist aus meiner Sicht sehr passend. Käufe empfeheln sich allerdings nur in den USA, da in Deutschland bieher keine vernüpftigen Kursstellungen erfolgen!

Bei der akt. Marktkapitalisierung kann man fast nichts mehr falsch machen.

Es gibt sogar einen Analysten der für Headliners ein Kursziel von 7,20 USD sieht!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wahnsinn, da sind wir vermutlich wesentlich bescheidener!

In D werden kaum noch Stücke zu vernüpftigen Preisen angeboten. Vorhin in Berlin gab er gerademal 4.220 Stück zu 13,5 Cent.
Die habe ich sicherheitshalber mal eingesammelt, denn wenn der CEO von Headliners seine angekündigten Aktienkäufe startet, erwarte ich ein Kursfeuerwerk!

Und bei der MK von 2 Mio sehe ich noch einiges an Kursspielraum. Immerhin kam der Kurs ja von 4 Euro im April dieses Jahres auf nunmehr 16 USCent zurück...

Headliners Releases Fiscal 2005 Results: A Dramatic 550% Increase in Revenue
Headliners Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTC BB: HLEG), an integrated entertainment management company which owns and operates 5 Dance Clubs and 2 Comedy Clubs, announced its results for fiscal year 2005 today.

Headliners reported record revenues of $8,623,734 for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2005 compared to revenue of $1,317,898 in fiscal 2004. This represents a 550% increase in revenues year over year. The company also posted $5,421,024 in Gross Profit during fiscal 2005, compared to a Gross Profit of $735,211 for 2004, representing a 630% increase over the previous year. These figures dramatically show the results of management's decision to expand the core business of Headliners from comedy clubs to include dance-oriented venues as well.

Ed Rodriguez, Headliners CEO, commented, ''I am pleased that we were able to grow the business so dramatically last year. The dance clubs acquired in April 2005 contributed greatly to our revenues and add to our ability to grow in the future both through expansion and acquisition. I am particularly pleased that after July 2005, when we gained control over the operations of the dance clubs, our operations generated positive cash flow of $458,525. Headliners Releases Fiscal First Quarter 2006 Update: An Impressive Rise in Revenue of Over 300%
Headliners Entertainment Group Inc. (OTC BB: HLEG), an integrated entertainment management company that owns and operates 4 Dance Clubs and 2 Comedy Clubs, announced its first quarter results for 2006 today, reporting that revenues increased by over 300% when compared to the same period in 2005.

Headliners reported revenues of $1,874,768 for the first quarter of 2006 compared to revenue of $446,703 in the first quarter of 2005. This represents an over 300% increase in revenues. The company also posted $1,238,643 in Gross Profit during the first quarter of 2006, compared to a Gross Profit of $294,013 for the same period in 2005. These figures dramatically show the results of management's decision to refocus the core business of Headliners from comedy clubs to include dance-oriented venues.

The transition of Headliners' business has resulted in a marked disparity between revenues and expenses. During the first quarter of 2006, the company incurred general and administrative expenses totaling $1,936,752, which exceeded the gross profit by $698,109.

During the first quarter of 2006, operations consumed $235,605 in cash. However, in the second half of 2005, operations produced $458,525 in cash. The improved cash flow in the second half of the year resulted from taking full managerial control over the six dance clubs during the summer of 2005. The company believes that the negative cash flow from operations in the first quarter is not indicative of the direction of the business operations, but reflects the troubles at the Jackson, MS, club that were resolved when the location was closed in April and additionally from the seasonality of the business; historically, the first quarter of the year is the slowest period for club operations.

''Our expenses remain disproportionate to our revenue. As a result, we realized a net loss of $1,849,753 for the first quarter of 2006. However the new direction in our operation bodes well for the future. I believe that the acquisition of the dance clubs, the opening of the new Red Cheetah in Montclair, and our new ventures, including the media distribution of the Rascal's library, will combine to serve as a platform for profitable operations. I believe that this is an achievable goal." Ed Rodriguez, Headliners CEO, commented and continued to say, "I do not expect that we will require additional capital during the next 12 months, except in connection with new development projects we may undertake."

Once the current period of rapid expansion is subsided, the capital requirements will be much easier to manage. Once clubs are established, they either operate profitable or are closed. Capital requirements of ongoing operations should not be significant. Headliners plan is to continue to expand, but at a pace commensurate with available capital and capital commitments, either from equity sources or secured lending sources.

On January 31, 2007 Headliners Entertainment Group, Inc. appointed Frank Orlando as Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and a Director. Since 2004, Mr. Orlando has served as the Executive Vice President and Director of Marine Growth Ventures, Inc. From September 1996 until April 2002, Mr. Orlando was vice president and director of corporate development for Phoenix Internet Technologies, Inc., a start up Internet service provider (ISP). In April 2002, Phoenix Internet Technologies, Inc. was sold and Mr. Orlando was retained by the new owners and worked there in a similar capacity until September 2003. From September 2003 through September 2004, Mr. Orlando acted as a consultant to Phoenix Investors, LLC. Mr. Orlando received Bachelors Degrees in Marketing and Production & Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 1995.


On January 31, 2007, the Board of Directors of the Company accepted the resignation of Eduardo Rodriguez as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Director. Also, on January 31, 2007, the Company’s Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Michael Margolies as a Director.

Habe noch einige von diesen Dingern. Diese Aktie gehört ja sicher zu den Top Ten der schlechtesten überhaupt.

Wenn man diesen Thread so durch liest ist erkennbar das viel größere Erwartungen in HEADLINERS steckten.
Alle diese Erwartungen sind bitterlich enttäuscht worden und es ging nur Berg ab ...
Was glaubt Ihr wird jetzt mit dem Führungswechsel realistisch

Ich war mit meiner Erstposi hier nur mit einem lächerlichen Spielgeld drin, wo es mir egal war ob es ein Totalverlust geben könnte oder das Papier steigt.
Am Freitag als ich zufällig gesehen hatte das hier mächtig Bewegung rein kommt, habe ich meine Anzahl schnell verachtfacht in den USA. Durch den "Superkurs" bei 0,0018 , ebenfalls mit einer doch ziemlich lächerlichen Summe
Man soll eben Aktien kaufen wenn sie keinem interessieren

Natürlich war ich dann über den SK von 0,0023 sehr angenehm überrascht und mir fehlt nicht mehr viel dass ich zumindest meinen Einsatz wieder rausnehmen könnte um mit "free Shares" hier weiter zu leben

Deswegen die Frage, was könnte der Führungswechsel bewirken, was könnte realistisch sein was Utopie, mir ist im Prinzip alles egal

Dies ist der offizielle Weg,ein Vergleichsverfahren einzuleiten.Nähere Einzelheiten sind zuzeit nicht bekannt.

Statt für 0,0015 Euro hat er 100000 Stück für 0,015 Euro gekauft!

Ich kann nur jeden empfehlen beim Kauf oder Verkauf die Order immer nochmal kontrolieren!
