mal wieder was nachbörsliches von mir als 1-Day-Zock;

folgende News kam um 17.09 chinesischer Zeit:

es ist das erste mal, dass Ariba in China ein JV vom Stapel lässt; das JV-Volumen beträgt erstmal 10 Mio. USD
denke, das wird morgen nicht spurlos an SEAPOWER (WKN: 881911) vorübergehen;
und wir haben die Chance uns jetzt noch einzudecken, bevor darauf in China reagiert werden konnte.
ich mein: es ist immerhin ARIBA...

streng limitieren, nur wenig Umsatz in D ; mit Glück kommt man sogar noch für 0,09 rein´;
wahrscheinlicher sind aber 0,10

17:09 Seapower (0269) & US Ariba develop online frozen food trading platform
(Infocast News) A source closed to Seapower Resources (0269) said that the company will cooperate with Nasdaq-listed Ariba to form a new company to develop electronic logistic business. The initial investment will be about USD 10 million including acquisition of softwares and infrastructure investment.

According to agreement, Seapower Resources will has majority stakes in the said JV. During first phase of development, the company will set up electronic trading platform, Powerriba.com, on the back of Ariba`s technical support to handle online frozen food transaction, delivery and storage. The platfrom is believed to be launched after 3 months.

That new JV will not bring in other shareholders at this stage.

Ariba, Nasdaq-listed last year, mainly provides B2B solution amounted to about USD 25 billion market value. This cooperation with Seapower Resources is the first project for Ariba in Greater China region.

Seapower closed down $0.05 to $0.66 today.

200 Prozent ist doch das mindeste, was ich mir wegen diesem JV ausmale...
aber im Ernst: denke, dass 15-20 Prozent bei normalem Marktumfeld drin sein könnten, vielleicht auch mehr;
auf jeden Fall haben wir hier den Info-Vorsprung, und negativ wird sich der Kurs morgen ganz sicher nicht entwickeln

Seapower steht fundamental erstklassig da; Div.Rendite von 4 Prozent, etc..

also auf jeden Fall ein Wert, der sich (gerade nach dem Ariba-JV) auch längerfristig lohnen könnte...

wie gesagt, anscheinend kennen die Chinesen Ariba nicht;
vielleicht werden sie es aber im Laufe der Woche noch rausfinden;

and makes this clarification announcement.

This statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange
of Hong Kong Limited.

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Seapower
Resources International Limited (the "Company") has
noted the recent increases in the price and trading volume
of the shares of the Company (the "Shares") and wish to
state that save as disclosed below, it is not aware of
any reasons for such increases.

Further to the announcement dated 6th March, 2000, the
Board wishes to advise that discussions with one of the
potential investors, is now at an advanced stage, and may
result in its investment in the core businesses and
related e-commerce business of the Company or the
formation of strategic alliance and partnership with the
Company relating to such businesses. No agreement has yet
been reached. The transaction, if materialised, may or
may not constitute a discloseable transaction. The
Company will keep the shareholders and investors informed
of the progress as and when appropriate in accordance with
the Listing Rules. Meanwhile, shareholders and investors
are advised to exercise caution in dealing in the Shares.

Except for the abovementioned, the Board confirms that
there are no agreements relating to intended acquisitions
or realisations which are discloseable under paragraph
3 of the Listing Agreement, neither is the Board aware
of any matter discloseable under the general obligation
imposed by paragraph 2 of the Listing Agreement, which
is or may be of a price sensitive nature.
