Kann mir einer mal erklären, oder sagen, was zur Zeit mir der Aktie von AKAMAI los ist.

Ich bin schon seit längerem investiert, habe aber jetzt die Sch... voll.

So`n Mega-Kurssturz in den letzten 3 Jahren nehmen die Anleger einem Unternehmen sehr übel, da kann z.B. AKAMAI in Zukunft schwarze Zahlen schreiben noch u. nöcher, trotzdem bleibt der Kurs in der Tonne ... und das ist gut so

Egal, wie der Markt läuft, hier im Board gibt es nur Gewinner. Komisch nur, dass bei Kursen um 1,--$ gar nichts gepostet wurde.

Also wenn ich so fett in den Gewinnen läge, dann würde ich nicht vorm PC sitzen und schreiben, sondern wäre unter Palmen bei Bacardi Rum...

Die Null , du bist wirklich eine Null. Kein Plan von der Materie und grosse Sprüche. Von wegen Anleger verzeihen nicht. Die den Kurs treiben dass sind zurzeit die kurzzeitigen Anleger , die Träider. Sobald Akamai in ihrer Bilanz einen posiven cash flow nachweist, bekommt man die Aktie nicht unter 10$ , beim Gewinn sind es nicht unter 20$.Leute hört nicht um Gottes Willen auf solche
Besserwisser.Sie wissen es halt besser und wenn die Kurse gestiegen sind hört man von denen nie mehr wieder. Mach euch selbst die Gedanken. Lasst euch von solchen nicht beeinflussen.

Ich sage AKAMAI Kursziel 150$ bis 2010 !!!

Die Akamai Technologies Inc., ein amerikanischer Internet-Technologieanbieter, hat seine Umsätze im dritten Quartal 2003 gesteigert.

Das Unternehmen meldete Umsatzerlöse von 41,8 Mio. Dollar nach 37,8 Mio. Dollar im Vorjahreszeitraum. Der Fehlbetrag lag bei 3,9 Mio. Dollar oder 3 Cents je Aktie nach einem Verlust von 14,6 Mio. Dollar oder 13 Cents je Aktie im dritten Quartal 2002.

Analysten hatten einen Umsatz von 38 Mio. Dollar und einen Verlust von 7 Cents je Aktie erwartet.

Analysten erwarten derzeit für das laufende vierte Quartal einen Verlust bei Akamai in Höhe von 5 Cents je Aktie.

Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the world´s largest ondemand distributed computing platform for conducting profitablee-business, today reported financial results for the third quarterended September 30, 2003. Revenue for third quarter 2003 was $41.8million, a 10.6 percent increase over second quarter revenue of $37.8million, and an 18.1 percent increase over third quarter 2002 revenueof $35.4 million. Akamai ended the quarter with $99.0 million in cash and cashequivalents and marketable securities, a positive improvement of $2.6million over the prior quarter.
Net loss, in accordance with United States Generally AcceptedAccounting Principles (GAAP) for the third quarter 2003 was $3.9million, or negative $0.03 per share, compared to a net loss forsecond quarter 2003 of $14.6 million, or negative $0.13 per share, andcompared to a loss of $47.5 million, or negative $0.42 per share inthe third quarter of 2002.
Normalized net loss(b) for the third quarter of 2003 was $3.5million, or negative $0.03 per share, compared to normalized net lossfor the prior quarter of $10.1 million, or negative $0.09 per share,and compared to First Call´s consensus summary normalized net loss of$0.07 per share, and a normalized net loss of $31.5 million, ornegative $0.28 per share, in the third quarter of 2002. Customers

At the end of the third quarter of 2003, Akamai had 560 EdgeSuitecustomers under recurring contract, compared to 434 at the end of theprevious quarter, and up from 243 EdgeSuite customers at the end ofthird quarter of 2002. In addition, the number of recurring customersgrew in the third quarter by 55 net new accounts for a total of 1,056customers under long-term services contracts.
New EdgeSuite customers in the third quarter included AIRBUS,AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., AnalogDevices Inc., BMW France, Defense Information Systems Agency of theDepartment of Defense, Drugstore.com, Food and Drug Administration,JCPenney, Red Bull GmbH, and Reuters, among others.

Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures

In addition to providing GAAP-based financial measurements, Akamaihas historically provided additional financial metrics that are notprepared in accordance with GAAP (non-GAAP). Recent legislative andregulatory changes encourage use of and emphasis on GAAP financialmetrics and require companies to explain why non-GAAP financialmetrics are relevant to management and investors.
Akamai defines "Adjusted EBITDA" as net loss, before interest,taxes, depreciation, amortization, equity-related compensation,restructuring charges and benefits, and certain gains and losses onequity investments. Akamai considers Adjusted EBITDA to be animportant indicator of the company´s operational strength andperformance of its business and a good measure of the company´shistorical operating trend.
Adjusted EBITDA eliminates items which are either not part of thecompany´s core operations, such as investment gains and losses, netinterest expense and restructuring activities, or do not require acash outlay, such as equity-related compensation and impairment ofintangible assets. Adjusted EBITDA also excludes depreciation andamortization expense, which is based on the company´s estimate of theuseful life of tangible and intangible assets. These estimates couldvary from actual performance of the asset, are based on historic costincurred to build out the company´s deployed network, and may not beindicative of current or future capital expenditures.
Akamai defines "capital expenditures" or "capex" as purchases ofproperty and equipment and the capitalization of internal-use softwaredevelopment costs. Capital expenditures or capex are disclosed inAkamai´s consolidated statement of cash flows in the quarterly reporton Form 10-Q.
Akamai defines "free cash flow" as the net change in cash and cashequivalents and marketable securities quarter-over-quarter. Akamaiconsiders free cash flow to be an important indicator of the company´sability to finance operations, service its debt and make strategicinvestments.
Akamai defines "normalized net loss" as net loss beforeamortization, equity-related compensation, restructuring charges andbenefits, and certain gains and losses on equity investments. Akamaiconsiders normalized net loss to be another important indicator of theoverall performance of the company because it eliminates the effectsof events that are either not part of the company´s core operations orare non-cash.
Adjusted EBITDA, free cash flow and normalized net loss should beconsidered in addition to, not as a substitute for, the company´soperating loss, net loss, and various cash flow measures (e.g., cashused in operating activities), as well as other measures of financialperformance reported in accordance with generally accepted accountingprinciples.

Reconciliation of Non-GAAP Financial Measures

In accordance with the requirements of Regulation G, the companyis presenting the most directly comparable GAAP financial measure andreconciling the non-GAAP financial metrics to the comparable GAAPmeasures.

nachdem akamai immerhin einige monate brauchte, um einen turnaround hinzulegen, schaffst du das in stunden - frei nach dem motto: "was kümmert mich mein ... geschwätz von gestern?" wie wär´s mit ner politkarriere ?
könnte sich natürlich auch um eine etwas extreme form von zweckpessimismus handeln aber wenn´s hilft, darf´s gerne mehr sein

Das ist wenigstens ein Wert mit einer klaren Richtung nach oben.
Habe vor 2 Tagen welche zu 8 gekauft und soeben zu 8,70 wieder verkauft.
Meinen Grundstock lasse ich allerdings unangetastet.
Momentan bei island schon bei ca. 10.30$

Ja kann sein, dass Du richtig vermutest. Leben lässt es sich überall gut, wenn Akamai steigt und ICGE fällt.
Was im ICGE-Forum abgeht ist nicht normal. Da wird hochgerechnet und verglichen, wo es nichts zum Hochrechnen und Vergleichen gibt. Es genügt, den Kursverlauf anzusehen und schon weiß man Bescheid. Jahrelang viele Textbomben die letzten Endes überhaupt nichts bringen. Und immer wieder die gleichen Texte. Gegen ICGE habe ich ja gar nichts, nur sollte man die Kirche im Dorf lassen. Und natürlich kann auch diese Share mal steigen. Das wird aber wahrscheinlich erst dann eintreten, wenn „snag“ nichts mehr zu berichten hat.
Was soll´s, freuen wir uns über Akamai und andere Werte und genießen mal wieder ein herrliches Wochenende.

Market Value: $ 1,343,056,360 bei
Earnings Per Share (EPS): $ -0.70 und
Umsatzsteigerung von 18% zum Vorjahresquartal und
einem Jahresumsatz von bisher (30.09.03) $116,090,000 ???

Needham & Co

Die Analysten vom Investmenthaus Needham & Co stufen die Aktie von Akamai Technologies (ISIN US00971T1016/ WKN 928906) unverändert mit "strong buy" ein und bestätigen das Kursziel von 21 USD.

Akamai habe mit seinem Quartalsergebnis deutlich über den Erwartungen gelegen und zudem die Guidance für 2004 angehoben. Akamai verfüge im aufstrebenden Markt der netzwerkbasierten Services über eine Killerposition.

Nach dem Aufbau des Geschäfts über viele Jahre hinweg stehe das Unternehmen vor einem Wendepunkt was den Free Cash Flow und das EPS angehe. Akamai sollte mit dem starken Ergebniswachstum deutlich höhere Kurse rechtfertigen.
