Exeter Resource (TSX: XRC Berlin: 893955)
Gold, Silber, Kupfer, Platin in Südamerika/Argentinien
Attraktiv in mehrerlei Hinsicht.
Bohrarbeiten in La Cabeza
GoldZock Meinung

Exeter intersects high-grade gold at La Cabeza
2004-04-06 09:47 ET - News Release
Mr. Bryce Roxburgh reports
EXETER INTERSECTS HIGH GRADE GOLD AT LA CABEZA - DRILLING
Exeter Resource has released positive results from the initial holes in its continuing prefeasibility drilling program on the La Cabeza gold project in Argentina. The drilling program is designed to demonstrate the continuity of mineralization within and along strike from that identified by previous drilling.
Drill hole LCP-107, located in the Ojo zone, intersected 30 metres averaging 13.0 grams per tonne gold, including three metres at 52.0 g/t gold, from 10 metres down hole. Drill hole LCP-106, drilled on a section line 50 metres north of LCP-107, intersected nine metres averaging 8.2 g/t gold, including three metres at 21.2 g/t gold, from the surface. The mineralization in these reverse circulation percussion drill holes is interpreted to be flat lying and the intercepts are approximately true widths. The high assays are uncut.

Sampling and assaying procedures
All samples have been prepared at the ALS Chemex preparation facility in Mendoza, Argentina, and assayed by fire assay (50-gram charge) at the ALS Chemex laboratory in Chile. All samples were assayed as three-metre composites weighing between eight kilograms to 10 kilograms collected by riffle splitting from individual one-metre drill intercepts. Check assaying by ALS Chemex of 124 composite samples assaying greater than 1.0 g/t Au showed 98 per cent of the samples to reassay within 10 per cent of the original assays. This repeatability would suggest that coarse gold is not biasing the samples.
The higher-grade intercepts will be reassayed into one-metre intervals from drill cuttings stored on site. In addition, all composite samples that assayed greater than 10 g/t gold will be reassayed into one-metre intervals by the duplicate screen fire assay method to test for the presence of coarse gold.
Drilling continues
Drill hole assays are awaited on 14 diamond drill holes and seven reverse circulation percussion holes recently completed. Diamond drilling at La Cabeza continues.
Robert Harley, BSc, Exeter`s vice-president, exploration, a qualified person within the definition of that term in NI 43-101 of the Canadian Securities Administrators, has supervised the preparation of the technical information contained in this news release.

difficulties, with the last 0.87 metres of the hole assaying 9.9 g/t gold.
LCD-45 at Luna was drilled approximately 50 metres southeast along strike
from, and at the same elevation as LCD-32 (8 metres averaged 2.5 g/t gold and
6 metres averaged 1.7 g/t gold).
At Cuello, LCD-43 was drilled approximately 25 metres down dip from prior
hole LCP-17 (8 metres averaged 3.2 g/t gold) and 25 metres up dip from LCD-11
(4 metres averaged 2.5 g/t gold).
Holes LCD-41, LCD-44, LCD 46 and LCD-47 were all drilled outside the
resource adopted for the November 2003 scoping study. The Mandibula holes were
drilled to better understand this low grade resource. Drill hole LCD-41 was
completed 50 metres south of the Cuello resource and hole LCD-44 was drilled
50 metres northwest of the Luna resource.
Sampling and Assaying Procedures
All core samples have been prepared from half HQ diamond drill core cut
by diamond saw on site. Most samples were assayed in 1 meter intervals, with
some slightly smaller or larger intervals, as dictated by geology. Average
core recoveries for all holes reported are in excess of 90%.
All samples have been prepared at the ALS Chemex preparation facility in
Mendoza, Argentina and assayed by fire assay (50gm charge) at the ALS Chemex
laboratory in Chile.
Check assays of all samples assaying greater than 1.0 g/t gold (84 in
total) have been completed by ALS Chemex. This work indicated that 85% of
samples re-assayed within 10% of original assays and 95% of the samples were
within 15% of the original assay. This repeatability would indicate that there
is no apparent problem with a coarse gold bias in the samples.
As a further check, all samples that assayed greater than 10 g/t gold
will be re-assayed by duplicate screen fire assay to assess for presence of
coarse gold.
Further Drilling
Four additional diamond holes have been drilled on the Ojo and Luna
prospects to follow up on results from earlier drilling. Reverse circulation
percussion drilling will recommence in July in order to complete the
pre-feasibility drilling at La Cabeza.
Robert Harley, B.Sc., Exeter`s Vice President, Exploration, and a
qualified person within the definition of that term in NI 43-101 of the
Canadian Securities Administrators, has supervised the preparation of the
technical information contained in this news release.

VANCOUVER, Kanada, July 13 (ots/PRNewswire) - Exeter Resource

Mendoza zubereitet. Sie wurden durch Brandprobe (50g Ladung) im ALS
Chemex-Labor in Chile untersucht.

Exeter intersects bonanza gold grades in La Cabeza drill hole
16:00 EDT Tuesday, July 13, 2004
VANCOUVER, July 13 /CNW/ - Exeter Resource Corporation (TSX-V: XRC, Frankfurt: EXB) today announced that diamond drill hole LCD-49A on the Ojo zone at its La Cabeza project has intersected an exceptionally well- mineralized interval. Based on preliminary results, the interval assayed 22 metres at a grade of 32 g/t gold, including 5.49 metres with an average grade of 121.7g/t gold. Assays from the complete mineralized interval are given below.
Diamond drill hole LCD-49A was drilled as a twin hole to previous vertical reverse circulation percussion hole LCP-107. Hole LCD-49A was collared approximately 2.5 metres grid northeast of LCP-107 and drilled at an angle of -80 degrees grid west. Results from LCP-107 are included in the table for comparison purposes.
Rob Harley, Exeter`s Vice President, Exploration, commented, "The mineralization in hole LCD-49A appears to be associated with a shallow-dipping zone of massive veining and silicified breccia; however the geometry and extent of the high grade zone is uncertain. We will complete a very detailed channel sampling program and further drilling to better define the geometry of this important high-grade zone."

Sampling and Assaying Procedures
All core samples were prepared from half HQ diamond drill core cut by
diamond saw on site. Most samples have been assayed in 1 metre intervals, with
some slightly smaller or larger intervals, as dictated by geology. Average
core recovery for LCD-49A was 83%, with the recovery for the high-grade
section, between 11 and 16.49 metres, averaging 87%.
All samples have been prepared at the ALS Chemex preparation facility in
Mendoza, Argentina and assayed by fire assay (50gm charge) at the ALS Chemex
laboratory in Chile.
Check assays of all samples assaying greater than 1.0 g/t gold (20 in
total) were completed by ALS Chemex. This work demonstrated that 55% of the
samples re-assayed with results within 10% of original assays, indicating the
possible presence of coarse gold in some samples. However, within the high
grade interval from 11 - 16.49 metres, 5 of 6 check assay results were within
11% of the original assays.
As a further check, all samples that assayed greater than 10 g/t gold
will be re-assayed by duplicate screen fire assay to test for the presence of
coarse gold.
Further Drilling
Four additional diamond holes have been drilled on the Luna prospect at
La Cabeza to follow up on results from earlier drilling. Reverse circulation
percussion drilling will recommence in July in order to complete the pre-
feasibility drilling at La Cabeza.
