bei King`s Bay Gold handelt es sich um einen Kanadischen Explorer mit einer MK von 6,7 Mio. $Can.
Sie besitzen mehrere Resourcengebiete in Kanada (Ontario and Manitoba), hier wurde überwiegend Gold, aber auch Kupfer, Silber, Platin und Zink gefunden.

Eine Feasibility-Studie und mehrere Neuigkeiten in den nächsten Monaten hat er in Aussicht gestellt.

Die Firma verfügt über 5 eigene mobile "Drill engines", wobei in den letzten Wochen immer 3 gleichzeitig im Einsatz waren.
Die Bohrergebnisse werden in Kürze (soon) veröffentlicht.
Momentan sitzen Sie noch auf 1,2 Mio $Can Cash.
Auf meine Frage, ob Sie die gefunden Resourcen verkaufen oder dort eventuell selbst abbauen würden, kam die Antwort, das dies abhängig von der Menge der Resourcen abhinge und teilweise Equipment schon vorhanden ist.
Ein KE schliesst er nicht aus (offen blieb, ob es sich um eine öffentliche oder private KE handel könnte).
Das Hauptprojekt liegt ca. 100km von Red Lake entfernt.
Der Wechsel von Michael Dehn zu King`s Bay ist in etwa vergleichbar mit einem Klaus Eckhof bei Moto.
Beide sind in der Branche Asse, und scheinen sich auch zu kennen.

King’s Bay/Rubicon Commence Drilling Program in Red Lake
King`s Bay Gold Corporation (TSX.V:KBG) is pleased to announce the commencement of a 1500 metre drilling program on their optioned Slate Bay gold project in Red Lake, Ontario from Rubicon Minerals Corporation (TSX:RMX).
The Slate Bay project comprises 146 claim units and is located to in the heart of the prolific Red Lake gold camp in northwestern Ontario. Previous work by Rubicon on the property has led to the development of a number of drill-ready targets on the property. The Slate Bay gold project displays the following features:
- An extensive (minimum 5 km strike length) and previously unknown ultramafic body, the Slate Bay Ultramafic (SUM), the existence of which has been confirmed through limited diamond drilling.
- The SUM is developed beneath a major regional unconformity marked by mineralized conglomerates which, on the Slate Bay property, have returned up to 3.44 g/t gold over 21 metres , including 5.60 g/t Au over 6.1 metres from surface channel sampling. Elsewhere in the belt, high-grade gold deposits show a close spatial relationship with similar ultramafic bodies in close association with major regional unconformities.
- Broad gold zones in underlying mafic volcanics near the SUM include 1.19g/t gold over 15.59 metres attesting to the presence of a significant size mineralizing system.
- The entire sequence is intruded by the Slate Bay intrusive body which contains local tourmaline breccias and which has been age dated by Rubicon to be similar age to other intrusives in the camp (Dome, McKenzie stocks) which have hosted over 1.35MM ounces of past gold production. Broad zones with anomalous copper and gold mineralization have been documented from limited drilling at the margin of this intrusive. (e.g., 0.21% Cu, 1.1 g/t Ag, and 0.14 g/t Au over 72.9 m).
Assaying was conducted ALS Chemex Labs using the fire assay and multi-element ICP procedures. Terry Bursey, P.Geol., is the project Qualified Person under the definition of NI 43-101

This Letter of Intent is confirmation of King`s Bay Gold Corporation ("King`s Bay Gold") intention to enter into an option agreement with Goldcorp Inc. ("Goldcorp") which agreement will grant King`s Bay Gold the option to earn a 50% interest in Goldcorp`s Rowan Lake property in Red Lake.
The Letter of Intent requires both parties to draft a definitive agreement and terms of any subsequent joint venture. Property description and all additional information will be available upon finalization of the agreement.

Da King`s Bay über eigenes Equipment (Bulldozer etc.) verfügt, käme auch ein "open pit" Tagesabbau seitens King`s Bay (ev. auf Pickle Lake) und der Goldgewinn in einer Produktionsanlage von Goldcorp in Frage.
Auf alle Fälle könnte der Kurs (aktuelle MK 7 Mio) davon stark profitieren.

King`s Bay Gold Corporation. (TSX VENTURE:KBG) ("King`s Bay") is pleased to announce, subject to regulatory approval, that it intends to complete a brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to $3,150,000.00. King`s Bay intends to issue units (the "Units")consisting of two flow-through common shares, one non-flow-through common share , and one-half of one (1/2) common share purchase warrant (the "Warrants") at a price of $1.05 per Unit. King`s Bay has allocated the subscription price of the Units of $0.35 for each of the flow-through and non-flow-through common shares. One Warrant will allow the holder to purchase one common share of King`s Bay at a price of $0.50 per share for a period of 18 months from the closing date.
Wellington West Capital Inc. (the "Agent") will arrange, on a commercially reasonable best effort basis, the private placement of Units, in connection with arranging and leading the Offering. The closing of the Offering may occur at more than one closing on such dates as may be agreed upon by the issuer and the Agent, provided that the final closing date shall occur no later than December 31, 2005.
The Agent will receive a cash commission equal to 7% of the gross proceeds of the Offering, and in addition, common share purchase warrants in a number equal to 10% of the Offered Securities sold at the Offering price (the "Agent`s Warrants"). The Agent`s Warrants entitle the Agent to purchase common shares of King`s Bay for an exercise price of $0.35 per share for a period of 24 months from the closing date.
All of the Units, together with the securities comprising the Units, issued pursuant to this offering are subject to a 4-month statutory hold. King`s Bay intends to use the proceeds of the private placement for exploration on existing projects, exploration projects in which it may acquire an interest, working capital purposes and operating expenses.
