Feb 16 (Reuters) - TravelCenters of America Inc (TA.O) said on Thursday it would be acquired by BP Plc (BP.L) for about $1.3 billion in cash, as the British energy giant looks to expand its travel convenience and fuel supply footprint in the United States.BP has offered $86 per TravelCenters share held, which represents a 74% premium to the stock's last close on Wednesday.

bp enters South Korea offshore wind market with new Deep Wind Offshore joint venture
bp and Deep Wind Offshore have formed a joint venture to develop offshore wind opportunities in South Korea. As part of their agreement, bp has acquired a 55% stake in Deep Wind Offshore’s early-stage offshore wind portfolio, which includes four projects across the Korean peninsula with a potential generating capacity of up to 6GW.South Korea is targeting almost 22% of its energy to come from renewable sources by 2030 and is expected to become a leading offshore wind region.
The joint venture will see bp enter the South Korean offshore wind market through Deep Wind Offshore’s existing presence in the region. This includes a highly capable team in four offices around the country, and a strong history in South Korea since 2006 through its owner Knutsen Group, which is currently one of the biggest clients to the Korean yards in the shipbuilding segment. Today, bp has a 40-year history in the country, including sizeable oil and LNG trading activities and its Castrol lubricants business.
Matthias Bausenwein, bp’s senior vice president of offshore wind, said: “South Korea is an exceptional market to expand our growing offshore wind footprint. We are very happy to be working with a partner as strong as Deep Wind Offshore, which has managed to build a strong local team and develop these projects in collaboration with a variety of Korean stakeholders. We look forward to developing these gigawatts further so we can integrate these electrons in the wider energy system and help the global and South Korean energy transition.”

Nach starken Zahlen für das abgelaufene Jahr nahm die Aktie des britischen Öl- und Gasproduzenten BP kräftig Fahrt auf und legte um knapp 20 Prozent in kurzer Zeit zu. Zahlreiche Analystenstudien kamen zuletzt zu dem Schluss, dass die Dividendentitel immer noch reichlich Luft nach oben haben. Besonders großes Potenzial sieht indes immer noch Barclays.
Die britische Großbank hat die Einstufung für BP auf "Overweight" mit einem Kursziel von 1.000 Pence (umgerechnet 11,32 Euro) belassen. Die sliegt satte 80 Prozent über dem gestrigen Schlusskurs. Nach dem weiter entwickelten Strategieplan des Öl- und Gaskonzerns sänken die Scope-3-Emissionen langsamer als nach dem vorherigen Plan, so Analystin Lydia Rainforth. Da das Scope-1-Ziel jedoch unverändert bleibe, sehe sie die Nettoauswirkungen dennoch als positiv an.

UK delays planning decision on Orsted's Hornsea 4 windfarm
LONDON, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Britain has delayed until mid July a decision on whether to grant permission for Orsted's (ORSTED.CO) giant Hornsea Four offshore windfarm, whose footprint on the sea floor partially overlaps that of a BP-led (BP.L) carbon capture project.The planned 2.6 gigawatt windfarm and the Endurance carbon capture and storage projects are caught in a standoff over this overlap zone due to the risk of boats used to monitor carbon leaks colliding with wind turbines fixed to the sea floor.
The companies and British authorities have said they are committed to finding a solution to allow both projects to go ahead, but no breakthrough has been reached yet.

Hatte ich mehrfach früher. Krucks dabei es können über die Böre nur ganze Stücke gehandelt werden, Teilstücke müssen über den Fondanbieter verkauft werden. Was erhebliche Gebühren kostet.

Warum es bei BP immer ca 6 Wochen mit der Auszahlung dauert ,keine Ahnung. Weil es vielleicht so viele Aktien sind ??? Hier findet auch bestimmt keine HV alle viertel Jahr statt. Oder ? Eigentlich ist es mir auch egal wie Hauptsache die Kohle kommt alle paar Monate.
Nein nicht das gleiche, ein Fond erhöht den Wert automatisch, deine Anteile bleiben gleich , bei Aktien bekommst du Aktien eingebucht, wenn du es statt Bar Dividende wählst, Deine Anteile werden also mehr
