Such a RE status quo scenario would most likely see the large majority of the Rest of the World (ROW) RE companies continue to struggle to advance their projects. Even Lynas (without US support) would likely remain as it has been for the last decade, a strategic component for the Japanese receiving little concern by ‘backers’ as a potential growth stock. China would clearly continue the domination of global RE/related production. Maybe, a handful of 'selected' ROW RE feedstock companies (e.g., Greenland Minerals, MP Mats’ and Northern Minerals, etc) would ship to China, where RE supply, mid and end line manufacture would meet increasing within borders EV, etc., consumption, and ROW needs. Consequently, long term RE investors would likely have to consider this possible scenario for the sector through the prism of the last decade’s experience. Apart, from a 2010 Black Swan and some later short-term trading opportunities with a handful of companies, RE sector investor rewards were minimal.
