bisher gabs bei Medusa keine Probleme. die kosten sind fast am geringsten aller produzenten überhaupt. geringere kosten und mehr profit bei 60K unzen produktion 2012 hab ich jedenfalls noch nie gesehen.
infos über das land wären mir auch willkommen. hab nur mal gelesen dass der CEO 30 jahre erfahrung in diesem land hat.
also ein alter bekannter. ...sicher kein nachteil.
das zweite projekt wo ab 2016 starten soll hat dann aber deutlich höhere kosten da niedrigere grades. ca 550 usd/unze oper. cashkosten.
liegt damit trotzdem noch weit weit vorne.
wenn nix schiefgeht, gehen alle anderen vorher pleite, wenn ich mir teilweise die kosten großer produzenten anschaue wird mir richtig schlecht. da ist mir medusa als beimischung lieb und teuer

Medusa Mining Limited: Retirement and Appointment of CFO
COMO, WESTERN AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - May 31, 2013) - Medusa Mining Limited (ASX:MML)(LSE:MML) ("Medusa" or the "Company") announces the retirement of the Company's Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), and the appointment of a new CFO.
Retirement of existing CFO:
Mr Roy Daniel has advised the Board that he wishes to retire from office effective 1 July 2013.
Roy joined Medusa as CFO in December 2004, and has made an outstanding contribution to the Company's development and progress, especially in establishing the corporate culture required to succeed in off-shore jurisdictions. The Board expresses its gratitude to Roy for his contribution to the success of the Company and wishes him all the best for the future.
Notwithstanding his retirement, Roy will make himself available to the Company as a consultant, and in particular ensure a smooth transition to the new CFO.
Appointment of new CFO:
The Board is pleased to advise that it has appointed Mr Peter Alphonso as the new CFO.
Peter currently holds the position of Company Secretary, and his responsibilities extend to liaising extensively with the current CFO on all the financial and statutory reporting of the Company. He has also been instrumental in developing the administrative and financial procedures of our Philippine companies since joining Medusa in September 2006.
Peter has in excess of 30 years' experience, predominantly in the mining sector, and he brings a range of relevant experience to the position.

die meisten kursziele sind noch über 20 (ein neues sogar 27,50... aber mir wurst eigentlich derzeit klar übertrieben)
naja das deposit ist wirklich faszinierend. permitprobs scheint es auch kaum zu geben.

finds nur ganz spannend mit den op. cashcosts bei nichtmal 300 und produktionsausweitung von 60 auf 200 in bälde 2 jahre oder was auch immer.
das neue projekt was nochmals 200k unzen brigen soll ab 2016 ist nicht so hochgradig. cashcosts richtung 550-580... aber vergleichsweise doch noch sehr gut. da tut der goldpreis vor allem beim laufenden projekt nicht sehr weh.
3-7 mio unzen sollen es ja werden... wir sind bei 2 glaub (?)
also ca 17-20 jahre mit 200k nicht schlecht.

von den explorern würd ich mir fast mal Pretium reinlegen.
gibt´s von grades bzgl größe überhaupt ein besseres weltweit ?
