Hi,

mein zweiter Aktienthread. Der erste - wenig gelesene - war einer der efolgreicheren hier bei w.o. Luk Fook ,etwa verfuennffacht seit Threadbeginn, und verzwanzigfacht vom Tiefpunkt und ist mmer noch einer der besten, langweiligen, unteranalysierten Retailer in Hongkong.

Zunaechst nur in aller Kuerze:

Petrolia hat sich die besten Oelgebiete in Quebec gesichert - fuer ein Butterbrot, wie man in Quebec beklagt. Die Hintergruende sind etwas dubios, aber der Fakt ist geschaffen und die vermuteten Oelvorkommen stehen in keinem Verhaeltnis zum Boersenwert.

Seit Threaderoeffnung rund 20% plus - aber Vorsicht, hier wird wild gezockt, gestern war man zeitweise schon 70% im plus.

Shale Oel Vorkommen sind wesentlich groesser und ergiebiger als herkoemmliche Oelquellen, aber schwieriger zu foerdern, wenn ueberhaupt. Die Formation von den amerikanischen Appalachen bis in kanadische Quebec gilt als eines der groessten Vorkommen der Welt.

Petrolia haelt Rechte ueber ein Gebiet etwa von der Groesse Kuwaits. Bei der Anticosti Insel, wo sich Petrolia und Partner den Loewenanteil gesichert haben, gehen die Schaetzungen bis zu unfassbaren 70 Milliarden Barrel Oel.

Ueber 50% plus seit Threaderoeffnung (bei ca.$ 1.10).

Alle reden ueber Sha;e-Gas, aber Shale Oel ist noch viel interessanter. Wenn ich wieder Zeit, habe werde ich dies ausfuehren.

(Wenn man pushen wollte, koennte man diesen Wert mit den Oel-Sand Groessen in Fruehstadium vergleichen, oder die Spekulationen ueber die Oelvorkommen mit jenen Lybiens oder sogar Saudiarabiens vergleichen.)

Nahc dem de facto Moratorium fur Shale Gas/Oel gab es einen kurzen Absacker, aber in zwischen ist die Aktie wieder Nahe am hoch, 10% plus heute.

Keine Unternehmensnachrichten, selbst auf Stockhouse seit 2 wochen kein Kommentar, was ist hier los ?

Hi bmann, bevor ich versuche das mit meinen Worten wider zugeben stelle ich mal einen mir sehr wesentlichen Betrag von stockhouse hier ein, nicht zuletzt auch ein bischen Bequemlichkeit . .

. . ich bin der Meinung das sich über die Zeit schon heraus gestellt hat das der Verfasser weiß wovon erspricht, wenn man das Handelsgeschehen gelegentlich verfolgt und die relative Stärke . . dann sieht es für mich so aus als könnte hier eher früher als später eine "Treibsatz" zünden

Haldimand site could hold 69.7M barrels

Petrolia Inc., a junior oil and gas exploration company, with the ambitious goal of supplying five per cent of province's oil needs starting in 2014, has reached a partnership agreement to develop its Haldimand oilfield in Quebec's Gaspe region.

Investcan Energy Corp., of St. John's, N.L., hasagreed to acquire a 50-per-cent interest in the Haldimand oilfield and 13 surrounding licences.

Sproule and Associates Ltd. of Calgary estimates Haldimand holds 69.7 million barrels of oil, 7.7 million of that total recoverable, high-quality light crude (53° API).

"I think it is the beginning," said Isabelle Proulx, Petrolia's vice-president corporate affairs, explaining that crude from the nine-square kilometre Haldimand property could reduce Quebec's annual $12-billion outflow to pay for imported crude.

"For the development of Haldimand, it is very considerable," Proulx said.

"This discovery, because it is so unconventional, will take a lot of investment."

The final agreement calls for Investcan to make a $15-million investment in Petrolia, consisting of $6.5 million to reimburse past exploration costs for Haldimand -where Petrolia has drilled five wells already -and $8.5 million for new wells in the next two years, including horizontal drilling to extract the unconventional crude.

Proulx said the company will sell oil from its first and second wells, as exploration continues, to help finance the work.

Ali Chiasson, managing director of Investcan, said the investment may seem puny beside the billions invested to develop Alberta's tarsands but "$15 million is only the beginning."

Petrolia and Investcan will share equally in future development costs.

The proposed agreement -calls for Petrolia to act as the operator for the exploration phase.

Investcan will take over for the production phase.

In addition to Haldimand, the two companies plan to explore other areas in the York River area of the Gaspe with the same geology.

Petrolia has 1,500 square kilometres in the York River basin, out of its total of 15,000 square kilometres of leases in Quebec, representing 18 per cent of the total oil leases in the province.

Petrolia also has permits to explore most of Anticosti Island and permits in the Baie de Chaleur region of New Brunswick.

Proulx said the company is aware of local concerns about "social acceptability" of its development, noting that Haldimand is two kilometres from the deepwater port of Gaspe, allowing Petrolia to transport oil by tanker ship, not by highway.

Chiasson said Investcan has the technical expertise required to bring the Haldimand oilfield into production because a sister company in Cote d'Ivoire has worked with similar geological formations.

Investcan is wholly owned by SCAM Energie, a French company in the diversified Bouygues Group.

Proulx said Petrolia spent two or three months seeking a partner to help it in the next phase of developing the Haldimand field, before choosing Investcan.

CIBC World Markets Inc. is acting as a financial adviser to Petrolia on this transaction.

- Etwa soviel wie die gesamte weltweite Oelfoerderung in einem Jahr.
- Etwa soviel wie die gesamte Staatsverschuldung Deutschlands.

Die "Haken" an der Sache:

- Moratorium fuer Shalegas/oel Foerderung in Quebec zur wissenschaftlichen Analyse der Umweltfolgen, Ergebnisse so etwa in einem Jahr.
- Nur ein kleinerer Teil des Oels ist mit heutiger Technik foerderbar.

Dennoch denke ich, solch eine Schatzkammer, die fuer Quebec nie dagewesenen Reichtum verspricht, wird auf Dauer nicht unangetastet bleiben.

PETROLIA ACQUIRES A STORAGE SITE IN GASPE FOR HALDIMAND OILFIELD PRODUCTION

Petrolia Inc. has acquired the lot formerly occupied by Xstrata Canada Corporation. This 152,969-square-foot lot in the Sandy Beach industrial park is less than three kilometres from the Haldimand deposit. Strategically located, it offers access to road, rail and port networks.

The acquisition demonstrates Petrolia's commitment to putting the deposit into production as soon as possible. Purchasing a site in an industrial zone also aligns with the company's objective of smooth integration into the surrounding environment. The site will provide a place where Petrolia can set up permanent tanks and industrial equipment related to developing the Haldimand deposit. An environmental characterization was carried out on the site before its purchase, showing that it met the regulatory requirements for how Petrolia plans to use it as part of the Haldimand deposit operations.
