Stripping activities on Akwasiso Cut 3 commenced in March 2021 and is forecast to continue through Q2 2021. As such, ore will be sourced from the Esaase pits and supplemented with lower grade stockpiled ore during Q2 2021. Consequently, operating costs are likely to increase in Q2 2021 relative to Q1 2021 while stripping at Akwasiso is ongoing. Operating costs are expected to decrease in Q3 and Q4 of 2021 once Akwasiso is brought back into production.
Und nun nach Q2 (Seite 18, AISC 2021: 1350 - 1450):
AISC guidance has been revised upwards due to higher anticipated ore transportation costs as more material will be mined from Esaase and inflationary cost impacts. As disclosed in the Company’s Q1 2021 MD&A, AISC1 was also affected by the Government of Ghana introducing a number of new levies and taxes impacting the mining industry in the areas of COVID‐19 relief, sanitation, pollution and energy.
Also das ist schon heftig. Die Guidance ist quasi um 200 USD gestiegen und das konnte man nach Q1 nicht ahnen? Vielleicht musste der CEO auch deshalb gehen. Hätte ich das ahnen können? Dann hätte ich nämlich nicht bei 1,01 gekauft, sondern auf 0,90 gewartet:
operating costs are likely to increase in Q2, ..., Operating costs are expected to decrease in Q3 and Q4
Sehr schwierig. Für mich nicht erkennbar.

Mir scheint so, dass es hier Trader gibt, die das Ding regelmäßig abverkaufen oder gar shorten. Nach guten News gehts mal hoch, aber danach müssen die Käufer büßen.
Stellt sich die Frage, ob das Spiel bei 1 USD zu Ende ist? Wo sollte man das Ding noch "hindrücken", mehr geht m.E. kaum. MK heute bei 227 Mio. USD.
