Extracts from interview :
What are you talking about?
We want to refinance our debt, and for today we have to pay 855 million zlotys from bonds. It would also be good to have extra money to meet our investment needs. Only this year, we plan to spend PLN 1.8 billion on investments. In the next two years, expenditures will reach PLN 1.5-1.6 billion. We therefore need a long-term source of financing in addition to the cash surplus that we are achieving today.
When will the second meeting with Prairie Mining be held regarding the project to build the Dębieńsko mine?
I think that the meeting will take place in the next ten days. We want to further discuss the potential cooperation with Prairie Mining.
Meanwhile, Prairie announced that also in the planned second mine - Jan Karski in the Lublin region - the main product will be coking coal. Is this an interesting option for you?
We heard about it. This may also be the topic of our next meeting. So far, we have only talked about Dębieńsk, which is located in the immediate vicinity of our mining concessions.
So you do not say "no" to take over the project Jan Karski?
We will talk about it, but we need to learn more about this project. Dębieńsko is well known to us, because it is the same deposit we are currently working on. We know the quality of this coal and geological conditions. We have to take a closer look at the second project.
