Don't worry much about the strip ratio for now. Life of mine strip ratio will be very different and much lower than old scoping study (below) as LTR has very thick pegmatites.

LTR has tantalum by-product credits which brings the US$376/t cash operating cost spodumene concentrate to US$308/t as calculated on the old Scoping Study. The tantalum credits lower the cost about 18%. That makes big difference.

When you look at the mining cost on scoping study you will see that it is only AU$37.72 which is nearly the half of tantalum credits .

Here is the old scoping study metrics (for 15,7mt ore of 21mt old mineral resource). The new PFS will demonstrate much lower costs and life of mine strip ratio.

It think LTR will be the lowest cost producer after Greenbushes (which has very high grade lithium content) because of tantalum credits and very low iron content and no mica (low impurities). As we discussed before Greenbushes, Wodgina and Earl Grey (KDR/SQM) has no tantalum credits. Only PLS has some but it's much lower than LTR's.

If your ore has low impurities then you have very low processing (operating) costs other than low capital costs as you will have less processing machines in your plant.

LTR is a winner in every aspect.
      Good luck to sellers.

      moin LTR- lers,

Following $18M raising, Liontown now fully-funded to expand Kathleen Valley
Mineral Resource and complete feasibility studies within next 12-18 months

      HIGHLIGHTS

 New 15,000m Reverse Circulation (RC)/diamond core drilling program to commence at
Kathleen Valley, aimed at expanding the current Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and
defining potential underground Resources and Reserves.
 Kathleen Valley is Australia’s 5th largest lithium deposit with an MRE of 74.9Mt @ 1.3%
Li2O and 140ppm Ta2O5, 83% of which is in the higher-confidence Measured and
      Indicated categories.
 Thick, high grade mineralisation has been defined over 1km and remains open along
      strike and at depth.
 The Company’s primary objectives in advancing Kathleen Valley are the:
o Completion of a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) by end of 2019 and immediate
transition to a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS); and
o Planning and execution of the transition from an exploration to a mineral
      development company.

 The DFS will incorporate data from the new drilling program, the results of which will be
      reported over next few months.
A Scoping Study released in early 2019 based on the maiden 21.2Mt MRE confirmed the
potential to develop a commercially viable, standalone mining operation.............

m capital raising to fast-track Australian lithium projects
      heutiger PR ausweist..........

      • $18m placement at $0.12 per share to institutional and professional investors;
      • Includes $1.43m placement, also at $0.12 per share, to Directors, subject to shareholder
      approval;

      • Proceeds will be used to accelerate activities at the 100% owned Kathleen Valley LithiumTantalum Project in WA, including...........

      moin LTR- lers,

Yeah I can see the CR at FreshEquities web site. I was registered there before as an experienced investor. (There are 3 classes; Professional, Sophisticated and Experienced). Yes its; not open to retail investors.

I could buy it at that 12c price but no more money to buy. I am all in LTR and my last buy was 14.5c. It's OK.

Even though I didn't like the 12c price because it's too low for what LTR has got, and they could do it at 14c at least, the sp will go quickly over 15c IMO. '

The offer is open only for 24 hours as I can see on the site but not sure. (Says "Bids due 22 hours" atm)
The approved investors can bid as much as they like (if they can get).

So $15m will be raised very quickly.

The dilution will be ~8% (or 125m shares) which is not much.

And $15m is a lot of money for an explorer. I am hoping they will drill KV project very soon to upgrade the resource, finish the PFS and make it ready for sale. Then keep drilling Buldania.

They are also saying that they finalised access negotiations for the Cambridge deposit area at Toolebuc Vanadium Project, Qld and planning is underway for an initial drilling program designed to extend the previously announced Inferred Mineral Resource of 83.7Mt @ 0.30% V2O5.

The drilling of this area will be very cheap as the deposit occurs at very shallow depths (5m to 30m). So it's an easy one.

I have given my research notes about Toolebec vanadium project here before.
You can see it here; Toolebuc Vanadium Project Discussion

IRC and LTR have the best ground but IRC has already sold 75% of their project rights to a private company owned by a Chinese entrepreneur. So LTR now has the best ground in the area. This is a company maker project I believe.............

Strong initial assays from resource definition drilling at Buldania extend mineralised trend to 1.4km

      moin LTR- lers,

Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: LTR) is pleased to advise that initial results from an ongoing Reverse
Circulation (RC) resource drilling program at its 100%-owned Buldania Lithium Project in WA’s Norseman
region have extended the main zone of mineralisation at the Anna pegmatite and provided valuable
geological data to aid modelling and preparation of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).

Buldania is Liontown’s second WA lithium project, which is being advanced alongside its flagship Kathleen
Valley Project where the Company recently reported a substantial resource increase (ASX Release, 9th
July 2019) and is progressing a Pre-Feasibility Study.

The latest drilling at Buldania has extended the previously defined mineralisation at the Anna prospect to
the south-east and east for a continuous strike length of at least 1.4km, with the system remaining open

The roadshow is being squired by Bridge Street Capital Partners, the company’s corporate advisors. Bridge’s veteran analyst and former fund manager Chris Baker has just penned a note on Liontown in which the valuation was increased from 11c to 22c.

While it was in the wake of the massive resource upgrade at Kathleen Valley, Baker said the increase was based on changes to financing assumptions. He also noted that Wesfarmers’ bid for Kidman was supportive of the 22c valuation.

“Kathleen Valley’s resource status in the Yilgarn province has climbed rapidly. It now matches that of Mineral Resources’ (MIN) Mt Marion deposit and is substantially larger and higher grade than Alliance Minerals’ (A40) Bald Hill and Galaxy’s (GXY) Mt Caitlin. Kathleen Valley may already offer a plus-20 year mine life,” Baker said.

“Liontown has not entered into any product off-take agreements with end-users, a feature which will undoubtedly lead to many financing options and enhance its corporate appeal. We can see ongoing consolidation of the lithium sector in WA. Liontown is now a prime target.”
