Postal Service to Start Negotiations for Giant Mail Truck Contract

The Postal Service has said the contract could be worth more than $6 billion of business to build as many as 180,000 delivery vans. It also is looking at splitting the giant order between multiple parties. While several foreign companies are bidding for the business, the contract calls for the mail truck to be assembled in the U.S.

There are four left, but one of the teams has split up, leaving its status in the bidding unclear.

Turkey-based Karsan, which makes commercial electric vehicles, teamed with long-time USPS supplier Morgan Olson of Sturgis, Mich. The team has offered a plug-in hybrid engine option for the new mail truck.

Mahindra Automotive North America is another. Mahindra is offering a gasoline or mild-hybrid powertrain option, according to government filings.

Workhorse Group, a small Loveland, Ohio, electric truck builder, had teamed up with truck body maker VT Hackney. But it said VT Hackney has dropped out of the project.

The fourth team, specialty truck- and military vehicle maker, Oshkosh Corp., of Oshkosh, Wisc., and Ford Motor Co. of Dearborn, Mich., already have U.S. manufacturing facilities. They based their internal combustion engine entry on the Ford Transit cargo van.

Allerdings hab ich gemerkt bei den Amis muss de richtig gut aufpassen wenn du zocken willst ..hast ja hier auf unserem Markt schon gemerkt wenn es hoch geht kaum geht drueben auf sacken die Kurse ein sehr oft....die Amerikaner tun sich sejr gerne zu groesseren Communitys zusammen siehe die Robinhood Juenger zb und die gleichen Communitys gibt es auf der Shorter Seize und die koennen schon mal neue Titel oder startups extrem in die eine oddr andere Richtung beeinflussen ...bei volatilen Aktien sehr gerne der Fall....man muss wirklich stahlharte Nerven haben um das auch mal durchzusitzen hab auch schon einige miese so gemacht .

Aber wie gesagt wenn du bei stocktwits.com dich ein wenig einliest da ist unser WO hier ne sehr lahme Ente dagegen da helfen sicj die Leute auch sehr viel untereinander mit den Infos und so traegt man sehr schnell sehr viel zusammen

Hallo zusammen!
Die meisten Banken möchten wegen der Umrechnung und ein wenig Arbeit nicht international freischalten. Meine Bank hat es auf verlangen von mir, oder ich muss die Bank wechseln , schnell eingerichtet. Wallstreet usw. ist ein muss. Dafür bekommt die Bank genug Gebühren .
Sparkassen und Volksbanken richten nicht so gerne ein , nur auf Druck.
Depot - International .
Ich denke , das es auch mit dem zu einsetzenden Kapital abhängt .
Bei 500 Euro oder so macht die Bank keinen Finger krumm . Gebührengeier sind die Banken.
Und die Grossbanken winken ab.
Eine traurige Angelegenheit .
Das Problem hatten viele Anleger am Anfang auch bei Nikola . Handel war nur über Nasdaq möglich.
Schnell hatte es Herr Milton bemerkt , das Europäer kaum handeln konnten. Eine Flut von Anfragen sind eingegangen, und es wurde schnell das Problem behoben.
