SETE president outlines the challenges Greece’s heavy industry faces after its record year
“We shouldn’t be complacent,” notes the president of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), Yiannis Paraschis, a few weeks before the end of of 2023, the new reference year for the sector, as records are being recorded both in arrivals as well as receipts. Based on the data of the Bank of Greece, for the nine months the revenues have increased by 15% compared to 2022 and by 11% compared to 2019.

He predicted that this year will end with operating profits of 400-415 million euros and profit before tax of €200-215 million.
For this financial year, the listed company will distribute a dividend for the first time after four years, which is expected to be approved at the general meeting in 2024.

Was im Kurs nicht enthalten ist - bleibt es auch gut. Wie wird 2024?
Nach aktuellem Stand, wir die Gesellschaft die Warrants/Aktien vom Steuerzahler für um die 80 Mio EUR zurückkaufen.
Es soll genügend Cash/Profit übrig bleiben, damit auch die Aktionäre für 23 eine Dividende erhalten.
2024 und 2025 könnte genauso gut werden wie 2023.
Die Turbine verursacht Vor- und Nachteile.
Das Angebot an Flugzeugen sinkt -> Preis pro Flug bleibt hoch.
Nachfrage nach Flugbenzin dürfte stabil bleiben.
Flüge nach Israel weiterhin ausgesetzt.
Mal schauen, was als nächstes kommt.

AEGEAN's enhanced new winter schedule is a continuation of the very strong 9 months of 2023, as recorded by the latest passenger traffic data. More specifically, AEGEAN carried more than 11.9 million passengers between January and September 2023 (7.1 million on the international network), an increase of 30% compared to the same period last year. The company's results were also positive in the 3rd (third) quarter of the year, compared to the same quarter of 2022 (having already recorded strong performance) as it carried 5.3 million passengers with a highly balanced increase both in domestic passenger traffic by 17% and international passenger traffic by 18%.

Wer noch nicht hat, könnte jetzt beim Griff ins blutige Messer eine erste Tranche kaufen.
Die Branchen KGV sind einstellig. Wachstumsraten im Vgl. zum Vorjahr zweistellig.
Ausblick in die Zukunft: Der hohe Ölpreis belastet, evtl. CO2 Abgaben auch.
Anzeichen für Nachfrageschwäche konnte ich noch keine ausmachen.
Auch Klimakleber fliegen zwecks Erholung nach Thailand.
