folgendes habe ich von *Morpheus* aus einem anderen Board entdeckt:Noch immer gibt es Unternehmen, die sich ohne großes Aufsehen zu "gorillas" entwickeln. Ein solches Unternehmen ist meines Erachtens Mercury Interactive.

Mercury Interactive ist auf dem wachstumsträchtigen Gebiet des Web-Performance-Managements tätig. Mit Hilfe spezieller Tools werden Datenpakete so durch das Datennetz manövriert, dass Engpässe entweder erst gar nicht entstehen oder diese geschickt umgangen werden.

Die Zahlen:
In den ersten 6 Monaten des laufenden Geschäftsjahres stiegen die Umsätze um 62% auf 130 Mio. $, wobei der Gewinn um 91% auf 22,2 Mio. $ zulegte.

Die Kundenliste ist mehr als beeindruckend. Unter den über 10.000 (!) Kuden finden sich klangvolle Namen wie Amazon.com, America Online, Ameritrade, E*Trade, Healtheon/WebMD, HomeGrocer.com, Jobs.com, ShopLink.com, WingspanBank.com, Ariba, Broadbase, Broadvision, i2 Technologies, Oracle, Apple Computer, Caterpillar, Cisco Systems, Ford Motor Co. und Walmart.

Auch die Liste der Allianzen und Kooperationen würde den hiesigen Rahmen sprengen:

Bewertung:
Mercury erreicht bei dem derzeitigen Kurs von 113 $ einen Börsenwert von 9 Mrd. $, was aber in Anbetracht der Perspektiven nicht zu hoch erscheint. Dazu sollte man sich auch den folgenden Artikel ansehen:

Safety pick: The gap between Ariba and the field suggests that there is some multiple expansion as the gap closes (for some), according to Berquist. But at what point can we tell if we`ve overextended, I ask. For one, Berquist said, these stocks shouldn`t trade back up to the crazy 100 times next year`s sales multiples.

Also keep in mind that valuations will be higher than historical software valuations because profits will grow in warped speed, much like revenue did.

Historically, the best of breed traded at slight premiums to their growth rate. For instance, if company A grew its earnings by 20 times annually, investors would multiply that number by 1.5 and come up with a ballpark figure of 30 times price-to-earnings to apply to the stock. Berquist believes that the premium will widen to about 3 to 4 times.

Alles in allem macht Mercury Interactive auf mich den Eindruck eines kommenden big players, der sich ohne großes Aufsehen entwickelt, was auch der seit nunmehr zwei Jahren kontinuierliche Aufwärtstrend bestätigt:

Hi, verfolgt jemand zufällig diesen Wert?
Unternehmen warnte nicht, übertraf Schätzungen, und ist vor dem Hauptkonkurrenten RATL Rational Software bei einem Rebound der Tech-Werte ( nach den bisher einigermassen Guten Quartalsergebnissen der Amis und der FED-Überraschung ) bei einem Kurs leicht über 50$ wohl ein Kauf.
Oder?
Vielleicht beteiligt sich jemand an der Diskussion.
Die nächsten Earnings kommen bei MERQ erst Anfang Juli.

Ist seit dem Höchststand von 177 am 20001002 um 55% Punkte gefallen. Die Aktie hat die obere Linie eines Abwärtstrendkanals nach oben hin durchbrochen. Daher ist ein schwächerer Kursrückkang als ursprünglich angenommen zu erwarten oder aber der Beginn einer Seitwärtsentwicklung. Die mangelnde Liquidität der Aktie (gehandelt 82% der Tage, durschnittlich 0.02 Mio pro Tag) kann die Analyse schwächen

ein Freund von mir arbeitet dort und behauptet auch,dass
man die akazie ruhig kaufen kann.Ist aber ziemlich volatil!
Am besten mit Limiten arbeiten.
Für unter 20€ rein und stop-loss immer nachziehen.
