Zug (Switzerland), 9 October 2000 - The Fantastic Corporation (FSE: FAN) and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) today announced that Windows Media® Technologies will be integrated into Fantastic`s broadband multimedia management and distribution platform. Windows Media is an Internet and broadband-ready technology providing the transport and playback of high-quality Windows Media® audio and video. The integration will be available to customers by November 2000.

Fantastic`s broadband distribution platform manages audio/video and multimedia content distribution to end-users either from a pre-encoded file, or in real-time for live broadcasts. The integration of Microsoft`s streaming technology enables content providers to plan and announce the schedule of streaming Windows Media® content to end-users, reserve bandwidth required for the transmission and control the playout of the broadcast. Fantastic`s Subscription Management System allows community administrators to precisely control the delivery of content to authorized end-users, thereby providing protection to valuable intellectual property.

Davon mal abgesehen ist diese tolle Meldung eine der täglichen Meldungen die auf der HP von Fantastic veröffentlicht werden.
