Wayside Drills 51.5m (170 Feet) of 7.17 g/t Gold Including 20.2m (66.4 Feet) of 14.6 g/t Gold

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 5, 2009) - International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. ("Wayside", the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WYG)(FRANKFURT:IWUB) reports today that it has received more results from its infill diamond drill program in the Bonanza Ledge Zone on Barkerville Mountain and from one of the three diamond drill holes testing the mine grid west extension of the BC Vein on Cow Mountain (Table 1).

The proposed 17 infill diamond drill program in the Bonanza Ledge Zone will upgrade its existing NI 43-101 resource from an inferred to indicated category. To date, 16 of 17 drill holes have been completed with BC09-01 through BC09-05, BC09-07 (please see September 17, 2009 News Release) through BC09-09, and BC09-11 returning promising intercepts containing gold mineralization.




- Drill hole BC09-08 intercepted:
- 18.3 meters (60.0 feet) of 1.15 g/T gold,
- including 0.43m (1.4 feet) of 21.8 g/T gold
- 24.4 meters (80.0 feet) of 1.14 g/T gold


- Drill hole BC09-09 intercepted:
- 24.4 meters (80.0 feet) of 5.39 g/T gold,
- including 0.85 meters (2.8 feet) of 102 g/T gold


- Drill hole BC09-11 intercepted:
- 51.5 meters (170.0 feet) of 7.17 g/T gold,
- including 20.2 meters (66.4 feet) of 14.6 g/T gold





Results from the remaining holes in the infill program are forthcoming.

Drill holes CM09-01 through CM09-03 were completed beside the Lowhee Creek on Cow Mountain and confirm the mine grid west extension of the BC Vein. The results verify that strike quartz veins including BC Vein exist on Cow Mountain, though more drilling needs to be conducted to confirm the total length and depth along strike. Gold values returned from the strike vein are up to 22.7 g/T (see September 17, 2009 News Release).

Drill hole CM09-03 intercepted a fine-grained pyrite replacement body in a fault zone, which contains up to 60% fine-grained pyrite and returns up to 22.7 g/T gold (Table 1).

About International Wayside Gold Mines

International Wayside Gold Mines has been developing its 106,484 hectare Cariboo Gold Project in Barkerville, B.C., which encompasses (from northwest to south east) the former producing Hardscrabble Tungsten Mine, Mosquito Creek Gold Mine (now on care and maintenance), Aurum Mine, Island Mountain Mine, Cariboo Gold Quartz Mine, Bonanza Ledge (proposed mine), the Cariboo Thompson Gold & Silver Mine and the Cariboo Hudson Mine.

Concurrently with the completion of the Sale Transaction, Wayside will enter into a Spin-off Transaction to transfer all of its properties, including the QR Mine and Mill, Cariboo Gold Project, and its assets, liabilities and obligations, to Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. ("Barkerville"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wayside, in exchange for shares of Barkerville (the "Barkerville Shares") and will then distribute the Barkerville Shares to the shareholders of Wayside on the basis of one Barkerville Share for each share of Wayside. The Sale Transaction and Spin-Off Transaction (together, the "Transactions") will be structured as a Plan of Arrangement involving Wayside, its security holders, Cross Lake and Barkerville pursuant to the provisions of the B.C. Business Corporations Act. The final terms of the Transactions will be modified to the extent necessary to give effect to tax and legal advice to be sought by the parties.

Barkerville will make an application to list its shares on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSX.V"). This transaction is subject to meeting the usual listing requirements of the TSX.V, which will include having the necessary funds to meet the obligations of operating the QR Mine and Mill, conduct recommended work programs on its Cariboo Gold exploration projects, satisfy the necessary general and administrative expenses and having unallocated working capital.

Completion under the Plan of Arrangement will also be subject to obtaining the necessary shareholder, regulatory and court approvals.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 7, 2009) - International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:WYG)(FRANKFURT:IWUB) ("Wayside", the "Company") announced today that it has received more results from its infill diamond drill program in the Bonanza Ledge Zone on Barkerville Mountain (Table 1).

The proposed 17 hole infill diamond drill program in the Bonanza Ledge Zone will upgrade its existing NI 43-101 resource from an inferred to indicated category. To date, 16 of 17 drill holes have been completed. BC09-01 through BC09-05, BC09-07 through BC09-09 (please see September 17 and October 5, 2009 News Releases), BC09-11 and BC09-12 have returned promising intercepts containing gold mineralization.

- Drill hole BC09-12 intercepted gold mineralization from 3.048 meters (10 feet below surface) to 87.48 meters (287 feet below surface):

Cow Mountain Drill Program

Drill holes CM09-01 through CM09-03 were completed beside the Lowhee Creek on Cow Mountain and confirm the 2.2 km mine grid west extension of the BC Vein and Bonanza Ledge style mineralization.

Drill hole CM09-03, drilled approximately 2.2 km northwest of center of the proposed Bonanza Ledge open pit mine, intercepted a fine-grained pyrite replacement body in a fault zone (Lowhee Fault or related), which contains up to 60% fine-grained pyrite and returned up to 22.7 g/T gold (see October 5, 2009 News Release). Initial interpretation suggests the Company has discovered the northwest trend along strike of Bonanza Ledge style replacement mineralization, being similarly hosted in clastic rocks in the same mine trend. More drill holes are needed to have a better understanding of the pyrite replacement body locally, which could assist Wayside in its future exploration programs to identify similar zones along the approximately 60 km mine trend on the Company's property.

Ashburton Ventures Acquires Gold Property Adjoining International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. on Barkerville Mountain, BC

(TSX VENTURE:ABR) ("Ashburton" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the Company has entered into an agreement to acquire 5 mining claims comprising over 2100 hectares adjacent to the International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. property which was the site of the discovery hole announced on October 7, 2009 by International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. The terms of the agreement are a cash payment of $20,000 upon signing, the issuance of 750,000 shares of Ashburton upon TSX Venture Exchange approval plus a 2% NSR of which 1% can be purchased for $1 million. Bolero Acquires Gold Property Adjoining International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. on Barkerville Mountain, BC

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLMUBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 8, 2009) - Bolero Resources Corp. (the "Company" or "Bolero") (TSX VENTURE:BRU)(FRANKFURT:U7N) is pleased to announce the Company has entered into an agreement to acquire 11 mining claims of which approximately 2,653 hectares are directly tied on to the northwest, and 1,930 hectares are tied directly east, of the property on which the discovery hole announced October 7, 2009 by International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. is located.

Examination of the results received from holes drilled to date (e.g. BC09-12, 84.4m (277.0 feet) of 16.5 g/T (0.481 oz/t) Au Including 37.5m (123.1 feet) of 36.1 g/T (1.052 oz/t) Au, see News Release October 7, 2009), identify that deeper diamond drilling at the Bonanza Ledge Zone is necessary in order to have a better understanding of the resource at depth.

President and CEO J. Frank Callaghan stated, "Management is very pleased with the results received thus far from the first phase of drilling at the Bonanza Ledge Zone. Company consultants Mintec Inc. along with Company geologists will interpret phase one data and plan a phase two Bonanza Ledge drill program designed to expand the resource beneath the known mineralization as it is currently defined."

The infill diamond drill program in the Bonanza Ledge Zone is expected to upgrade its existing NI 43-101 resources from inferred to indicated and measured categories. The drill program (including drill hole locations) was designed by Mintec Inc. ("Mintec"), which produced the Company's initial resources and reserve estimates as reported in the Company's positive Pre-Feasibility Study at the Bonanza Ledge Gold Project (see News Release September 10, 2009). Mintec will use this new data gathered in this drill program together with pervious drilling, for geologic modeling, exploration, mine planning and ultimately mine development.

To date, 17drill holes have been completed with BC09-01 to BC09-05, BC09-07 to BC09-09, BC09-11 and BC09-12 returning promising intercepts containing gold mineralization (see News Releases September 17, October 5 and October 7, 2009). Results from the remaining drill holes in the infill program are forthcoming. The program as last reported (see News Release October 07, 2009) was scheduled for 17 holes and has increased by one hole due to the loss of hole 14 in a fault zone. The 18th hole in the program is identified as "14-b".

Additionally, the Company has completed diamond drilling an 8 hole, underground water monitoring well program for the proposed Bonanza Ledge open pit gold mine. Two of the water well holes unexpectedly cut into both quartz vein and weak pyrite replacement mineralization zones. Core samples have been sent to Eco Tech Laboratory Ltd. in Kamloops, B.C., for analysis.

The technical information in this News Release has been reviewed and approved by Chief Geologist Jim Yin, PhD, P.Geo, a qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101.

The Cariboo Gold Camp now encompasses (from northwest to south east), the former producing Hardscrabble Tungsten Mine, Mosquito Creek Gold Mine (now on care and maintenance), Aurum Mine, Island Mountain Mine, Cariboo Gold Quartz Mine, Bonanza Ledge (proposed mine), the Cariboo Thompson Gold & Silver Mine and the Cariboo Hudson Mine.

The Company commenced operations in the Cariboo District in 1994 and since that time has focused on the exploration and development of its gold properties. Mineral tenures in the Historic Cariboo Goldfields encompass approximately 1,065 square km (106,484 hectares) over a 60 km long by 20 km wide belt. In the Barkerville Gold Camp, 101 creeks have reported placer gold production. Recorded gold production from the area totals more than 3.8 million ounces, including an estimated 2.64 million ounces from placer mining and 1.23 million ounces from lode mining.

Towards a New Era of Gold Production in the Historic Barkerville Camp


International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. ("the Company") is a public company traded on the TSX Venture Exchange (WYG) and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (IWUB). The Company is focused on the historic Cariboo Goldfields, terminus of the famous Cariboo Gold Rush.

International Wayside Gold Mines has recently consolidated the Cariboo Goldfields by acquiring the contiguous projects of Lions Gate Energy Inc. and Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. The Cariboo Gold Project now encompasses (from northwest to south east), the former producing Hardscrabble Tungsten Mine, Mosquito Creek Gold Mine (now on care and maintenance), Aurum Mine, Island Mountain Mine, Cariboo Gold Quartz Mine, Bonanza Ledge (proposed mine), the Cariboo Thompson Gold & Silver Mine and the Cariboo Hudson Mine.


On February 4th, 2009, International Wayside announced it had entered into a non-binding agreement in principle with Cross Lake Minerals to acquire a subsidiary of Cross Lake, holding all of Cross Lake's interest in the QR Mine and Mill.

The 900-tonne-per-day QR mill, which was fully operational until February, 2009 (now on care and maintenance), is a CIP mill designed for an output of 70,000 ounces of gold per annum for that location. The mill is located 110 kilometres by road from Wayside's Cariboo gold project and proposed Bonanza Ledge mine. Following a positive feasibility study in 1994, Kinross Gold Corp. constructed the QR mill with capital costs estimated at over $40-million.

Cross Lake commenced operations at the QR Mine in 2007, after spending over $34-million in the preceding 24 months on project acquisition ($4.3-million), exploration and development ($20-million) and refurbishing the mill facilities ($10.3-million). Cross Lake expended an additional $3-million on asset retirement obligations, including having BC Hydro bring three-phase power to the project. It is Wayside's objective to process material from its proposed Bonanza Ledge mine (subject to receipt of all necessary permits) at the QR mill, in addition to recommencing operations at the QR mine.

The Company is currently working to delineate multi-million ounce gold resources across the trend, further consolidate mineral tenure, and begin production at the proposed Bonanza Ledge open pit mine and recommence production at the QR Mine. To date, the Company has completed more than 50,000m of drilling and while the Company continues to augment and refine the geological model, large areas have never been explored.

Company History


International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX.V -WYG) is a Canadian public company based in Vancouver, B.C. The company was incorporated in February 1970 pursuant to the B.C. Company Act. Operations commenced in 1971, and since that time the company has concentrated on the exploration of past-producing gold properties.

WGM was reorganized and adopted its current name in July 1994. In October 1994, management entered into an agreement to earn a 50% interest in the Cariboo Gold Quartz Property (CGQ), a former underground gold mine (1933-1959), located in the historic Barkerville Camp in the Cariboo Mountains in East -Central British Columbia. The property is comprised of 64 crown-granted mineral claims located northwest of the historic town of Barkerville. WGM assumed the role of Operator and began exploration in May 1995.

With encouraging results from its exploration work, WYG has maintained its focus on the Barkerville Camp. WGM entered into a subsequent agreement in 1999 to acquire the remaining 50% of the CGQ property and 100% of the adjacent, past-producing Island Mountain -Aurum (1934 -1967) and Mosquito Creek (1979 -1987) Mines, (comprised of 34 and 29 contiguous crown-granted mineral claims respectively). WYG has acquired additional mineral claims and now controls over 55,000 ha of prospective land.

Vancouver, BC - International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. ("Wayside", the "Company") announced today that it has completed an 18 hole in-fill diamond drill program in the Bonanza Ledge Zone at Barkerville Mountain, designed by Mintec Inc. Assay results for drill holes BC09-10, BC09-13, BC09-14, BC09-14B (partial: 92.2 of 203 meters have been assayed to date), BC09-15, BC09-16 and BC09-17 were recently received (see Table 1).

Highlights of the drill results include:

Hole BC09-14B: 70.9 meters (232.6 feet) of 10.7 g/T (0.311 oz/t) gold
Including: 38.7 meters (126.9 feet) of 19.0 g/T (0.555 oz/t) gold
92.2 meters (302.6 feet) to 203 meters (666.0 feet) Assay Results Pending
Drilling of BC09-14B was recently completed to a depth of 203 meters (666.0 feet) and the core samples from pending assays were split and sent to Eco Tech Laboratory Ltd. for analysis on October 24, 2009 and will be released when received. BC09-14B was drilled 50.5 meters (165.6 feet) southeast of BC09-12 which returned assays of 84.4 meters (277 feet) of 16.5 g/T (0.481 oz/t) gold (see News Release October 7, 2009). Assay results have been received to 92.2 meters (302.6 feet). BC09-14B marks the beginning of a new phase of drilling targeting Bonanza Ledge mineralization at depth and below the existing NI43-101 proven reserves, as reported in the Company's Pre-feasibility study September 10, 2009 and filed on SEDAR October 23, 2009.

Drill hole BC09-14 was stopped at 87 feet in a fault zone which required its re-drilling as BC09-14B. Drill hole BC09-14B was cased to 21.3 meters (70 feet) and samples were not taken within the cased portion of the hole.

Frank Callaghan, President and CEO stated, "We are excited to start a new phase of drilling targeting Bonanza Ledge style mineralization at depth, below the proposed Bonanza Ledge open pit gold mine and along strike of the Bonanza Ledge trend. This next phase of Bonanza Ledge drilling will begin as the Company's consultants and geologists interpret the data gathered from the infill drill program. The Company is currently drilling the Butts Zone, 2 km northwest of the Bonanza Ledge in the Cariboo Gold Quartz and Island Mountain mine trends".

Resultat ist, dass der Wert inmitten der größten Goldhausse aller Zeiten, abgestraft wird.

Die News bietet jetzt vermutlich ein Einstiegsniveau auf das zu spekulieren, bis dato kaum noch möglich war.

Das tut mir sehr leid für dich, admico.

Das timing ist leider immer das was man am schwersten ausmachen kann an der Börse.

Ich beobachte den Wert schon sehr lange. Angesichts der immer neuen Rekordhöhen bei Gold, wird die Konsolidierung des Aktienkurses wohl nicht mehr lange zu halten sein.

Natürlich kann man das nie sicher wissen.

Ich wünsche dir alles Gute, vielleicht schaust du ja später noch mal rein.

Ich habe den Wert schon seit 0,2 Auf der watchliste.
Bin aber viel zu hoch eingestiegen.
Bei meinem Glück, wird der WErt in den nächsten Wochen explodieren.
Übrigens, bis Januar ist waside in Produktion. Allerdings benötigen Sie bis dahin wieder ein wenig Kapital.
Die Maschinen werden zu vVrfügung gestellt von barkerville.
So soll auch die Produktionsfirma heissen. D.h. ein Aktientauschprogramm wird erfolgen 1:1.

International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd., further to the news release in Stockwatch Feb. 4, 2009, whereby the company would acquire the QR mine and mill from Cross Lake Minerals Ltd. (now 0373849 BC Ltd.) in exchange for Wayside's tax loss pool in a court-ordered plan of arrangement, the company has now entered into a revised term sheet in order to retain the tax losses for Wayside. The company will also enter into a definitive acquisition agreement, mining contract and environmental indemnity agreement.

J. Frank Callaghan, president and chief executive officer of Wayside, stated: "We are very pleased to have revised the terms of the acquisition of the QR mine and mill in order to retain our tax losses. Under these revised terms and upon the commencement of mining operations, the company will have the ability to utilize the accumulated tax loss pools of approximately $25-million for the financial benefit of the company and its shareholders. In addition, the board of directors is pleased to have Cross Lake's equity participation in the company and Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd.'s expertise in the operation of our mines."

The company renegotiated its transaction with Cross Lake whereby the company will purchase the subsidiary company of Cross Lake holding the QR mine and mill to acquire all of the QR assets by issuing company stock. The company will now purchase the QR mine and mill for the issuance of two million shares and 500,000 share purchase warrants. Each warrant will be exercisable into one additional common share at a price of $1 per common share for a period of two years. The mining contract will provide that Procon or its nominee will be responsible for and will undertake the mining activities in respect to the QR mine and mill and Wayside's other properties including the Cariboo gold project. This contract provides that Procon shall be the contractor of the QR mine and mill and any other mining project developed by Wayside. In consideration of the services to be provided by Procon under the mining contract, Wayside shall pay to Procon an amount equal to all costs incurred by Procon, plus a mark up of 15 per cent. The mining contract will continue in effect for an initial term ending upon completion of $37.5-million in earned margin after the date of closing and is subject to earlier termination for a fee or extension upon agreement by both Wayside and Procon.

The acquisition is scheduled to close on Feb. 1, 2010, and is subject to entering into definitive agreements including the acquisition agreement, mining contract and environmental indemnity agreement and is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. Wenn das Resourcenupdate super ausfällt, von dem ich einfach mal ausgehe, (siehe extrem hohen Grade, die den Kurs explodieren haben lassen), dann müsste sich der Kurs rasch dem ATH annähern.

Funde von 20 oder gar 30 Gramm je Tonne sind extrem selten und wenn dann nur über vielleicht einen Meter. Ventana hat die beste Aktieperformance in 2009 hingelegt mit rund 10000 Prozent zum ATH.

Auch Int. Wayside hat exzellent performt und weißt einzigartige Goldgrade auf mit bis zu 36 Gramm je Tonne. Es gibt wie gesagt nur eine handvoll Unternehmen mit denen man die Grade von WYG überhaupt vergleichen kann.

Das gesamte Bohrprogramm von WYG hat ja auch absolut begeisternde Längen zustande gebracht, die nicht nur den Antieg rechtfertigen und dies bei einer immer noch verschwindend geringen MK, wenn man sich vor Augen führt, dass weitere 10 Mio. eingenommen werden und sogar aus dem tax pool von 25 Mio. USD (siehe letztes announcement) weitere finanzielle Mittel zufließen können.

Ventana hatte mit dem Anstieg in 2009 bereits eine MK von 1 Milliarde überschritten. Dies kam weil der besonders hochgradig mineralisierte Trend direkt durch die, im Vergleich zu Greystar viel kleinere Liegenschaft geht. Obwohl Ventana im Vergleich zu Greystar viel weniger Cash hat stehen sie wegen der Bohrergebnisse (Qualität des Trends) höher. Allerdings ist Ventana noch von einer Produktion weit entfernt und aktuell in Gesprächen mit einer dritten Partei, bzgl. einer Übernahme.

Das Kurspotential bei WYG ist aktuell vorallem wg. dem Resourcenupdate und der kommenden Knallernews des Produtkionsstarts, der Finazierung und der wahren Bonanza Grade als sehr hoch einzuschätzen.

Bei Ventana wäre ich im Moment vorsichtig, weil durch die extreme Werthaltigkeit der Liegenschaften, nun der ehemalige Besitzer der Liegenschaften den Erwerbspreis von VEN anfechtet - und logischerweise mehr erlösen will. Deshalb kam die Aktie zurück.

Das stimmt. Anleger haben viele Jahre der Exploration gesehen, es kommen sogar nochmal Bohrergebnisse! Das Resourcenupdate resultieren aus den Bohrungen siehe News und Abschluss der Finanzierung, News bzgl. 25 Mio. tax pool, News Umbenennung von Wayside Gold in Bakerville, Produktionsstart.

Eine Menge Holz - wie du siehst pflegt das Unternehmen was die News angeht keinen Leerlauf entstehen zu lassen.

Was Zukäufe über den Markt angeht, sind wir noch knapp unter dem PP und deutlich unter den Käufen der Insider!

Ausserdem starke Unterstützung sowie Ressourcenupdate unmittelbar vorraus. Danach dürfte es meiner Meinung nach mit diesen Kursen sowieso vorbei sein. Schau doch nur mal wo die Aktie allein wegen der Bohrergebnisse schon stand.

WYG ist sehr günstig geworden und sogar im Moment noch unterhalb des PP bei 0,80 CAD zu haben. Das ist schon eine ungewöhnliche Situation. Da WYG davon ausgeht, dass das PP fully subscribed wird, ist schon allein deshalb (Ressourcenupdate und Produktion stehen ja als sicher gem. Unternehmensführung als weitere News in der Pipeline fest) ein Kurssprung zu erwarten.

There is ALOT going on here in the Vancouver office. As you know, the acquisition of the QR mine and Mill is scheduled for Feb 1, 2010. As such, the Company is working on many things to ensure that all goes well.

International Wayside Files Three NI43-101 Technical Reports

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 8, 2010) - International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. ("Wayside", the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WYG)(FRANKFURT:IWUB) wishes to report that the Company has filed three separate National Instrument 43-101 Technical Reports (NI 43-101 reports) in the last quarter of 2009 on the Company's properties within the Cariboo Gold Project area. The reports are available on SEDAR and also on the Company's website. The reports discuss: 1) The property north of Barkerville Historic Town including that which was acquired by the Company from Island Mountain Gold Mines Ltd., 2) The Company's recently purchased property south of Barkerville Historic Town, formerly owned by Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd., and 3) The Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the proposed open pit mine at Bonanza Ledge on Barkerville Mountain.

Cariboo Gold Project

On December 18th, 2009, the Company filed a NI 43-101 report on the Cariboo Gold Project compiling exploration activities from 2006 to 2008, authored by Jarrod Brown, M.Sc., P.Geo. The Report concentrates on drilling activities, peripheral to the Bonanza Ledge proposed open pit mine, at the Mucho Oro and Goldfinch zones and drilling on the proposed open pit on Cow Mountain, located approximately 2.5 km northwest of Bonanza Ledge's proposed open pit mine on Barkerville Mountain. The report highlights the Company's drilling successes to date and recommends further drill programs.

Golden Cariboo

On December 15th, 2009, the Company filed a NI 43-101 report on the mineral tenure south of Barkerville Historic Town, acquired from Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. The report covers exploration activity between 2000-2008. The report's authors, Jarrod Brown M.Sc., P.Geo, and Jim Yin Ph.D. P.Geo, suggest "considering the large area of the land package, previous exploration programs provided only limited information of gold mineralization in the region. A greater density of geophysics, geological mapping, trenching and drilling is required to have a better understanding of the mineralization on the land package. It is the author's opinion that explorations to date have shown that the land package has the potential to host economically feasible mineral deposits."

Bonanza Ledge

On October 23rd, 2009, the Company filed a NI 43-101 PFS on its Bonanza Ledge proposed open pit gold deposit authored by EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. and several independent professionals and consultants. This PFS shows that "the identified Mineral Resources are economic using the assumptions described and can be classed as Mineral Reserves." A total of 328 thousand tonnes of ore at an average grade of 0.264 oz/ton Au (9.05 g/T) will be mined from the deposit over four years. Most encouragingly, the report states that the mineral beneficiation processes at the QR Mill appear to be compatible with the ore from Bonanza Ledge. Cyanidation tests have returned positive results with high recoveries. The Company is currently in the final stages of the permitting process and, once complete, will truck Bonanza Ledge ore to the 900 tonne per day QR Mill to be batch milled.

Since the PFS was published, 18 additional diamond drill holes have been completed on the Bonanza Ledge proposed open pit mine site. The drill hole plan was designed by Mintec, Inc of Tucson, Arizona. These additional holes are expected to increase the mineable resource.

About International Wayside Gold Mines

The Company has been developing its Cariboo Gold Project in Barkerville, B.C., which encompasses (from northwest to south east) the former producing Hardscrabble Tungsten Mine, Mosquito Creek Gold Mine (now on care and maintenance), Aurum Mine, Island Mountain Mine, Cariboo Gold Quartz Mine, Bonanza Ledge (proposed mine), the Cariboo Thompson Gold & Silver Mine and the Cariboo Hudson Mine. The Company commenced operations in the Cariboo District in 1994 and since that time has focused on the exploration and development of its gold properties. The Company's mineral tenures in the Historic Barkerville Gold Camp encompass approximately 1,065 square km (106,484 hectares) over a 60km by 20km wide belt. Auch wenn es nat. keine neuen Zahlen sind, müsste doch mal irgendwem auffallen, dass das Unternehmen werthaltig ist und sehr weit voran gekommen ist - hin zum Produzenten.

Kurs ist ja momentan sehr stabil, das wird schon noch mit WYG - ein wenig Geduld ist gefragt.

Nur Geduld. Im Augenblick befinden wir uns in einer schönen Seitwärtsbewegung. Kein großes Volumen usw. Lass die Aktie ruhig noch etwas schlafen. Wenn die Produktion anläuft kommt der Rest von allein!

("Wayside", the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WYG)(FRANKFURT:IWUB) wishes to report that they have been advised by 0373849 B.C. Ltd. (formerly Cross Lake Minerals Ltd.) that the Permit to Mine has been granted to 0847423 B.C. Ltd. ("QR Subco") for the West Zone at the QR Mine. In addition, a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), NI 43-101 compliant of the West Zone at QR Mine and Mill has been delivered.

The QR Mine PFS, dated December 14, 2009, was carried out by EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. and several independent professionals and consultants. This updated PFS states, "a positive economic benefit at current gold prices to justify potentially reopening the QR Mine and Mill. Based on the constraints of this study, EBA Engineering believes that this project is economically viable." The PFS also recommends, "…given the current rise in gold prices and the positive economic analysis on the QR Project, development and production is recommended based on this study". A copy of this PFS has been filed by 0373849 BC Ltd. on SEDAR and it will also be available for viewing in Wayside's filings upon completion of the QR Mine and Mill acquisition.

With the receipt of the Mining Permit and a positive PFS, the commencement of mining is scheduled to begin at the QR Mine in February 2010 - initially stockpiling ore ahead of recommencing milling operations at the 900 tonne/day QR Mill. On December 16, 2009, the Company announced it had entered into an agreement to purchase the QR Subco which holds the QR Mine and Mill and all related assets from 0373849 BC Ltd. (see News Release 09-36) The acquisition is scheduled to complete on or before February 1, 2010, subject to the execution of definitive agreements and the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

About International Wayside Gold Mines

Cariboo Gold Project

On December 18th, 2009, the Company filed a NI 43-101 report on the Cariboo Gold Project compiling exploration activities from 2006 to 2008, authored by Jarrod Brown, M.Sc., P.Geo. The Report concentrates on drilling activities, peripheral to the Bonanza Ledge proposed open pit mine, at the Mucho Oro and Goldfinch zones and drilling on the proposed open pit on Cow Mountain, located approximately 2.5 km northwest of Bonanza Ledge's proposed open pit mine on Barkerville Mountain. The report highlights the Company's drilling successes to date and recommends further drill programs.

Golden Cariboo

On December 15th, 2009, the Company filed a NI 43-101 report on the mineral tenure south of Barkerville Historic Town, acquired from Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. The report covers exploration activity between 2000-2008. The report's authors, Jarrod Brown M.Sc., P.Geo, and Jim Yin Ph.D. P.Geo, suggest "considering the large area of the land package, previous exploration programs provided only limited information of gold mineralization in the region. A greater density of geophysics, geological mapping, trenching and drilling is required to have a better understanding of the mineralization on the land package. It is the author's opinion that explorations to date have shown that the land package has the potential to host economically feasible mineral deposits."

Bonanza Ledge

On October 23rd, 2009, the Company filed a NI 43-101 PFS on its Bonanza Ledge proposed open pit gold deposit authored by EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. and several independent professionals and consultants. This PFS shows that "the identified Mineral Resources are economic using the assumptions described and can be classed as Mineral Reserves." A total of 328 thousand tonnes of ore at an average grade of 0.264 oz/ton Au (9.05 g/T) will be mined from the deposit over four years. Most encouragingly, the report states that the mineral beneficiation processes at the QR Mill appear to be compatible with the ore from Bonanza Ledge. Cyanidation tests have returned positive results with high recoveries. The Company is currently in the final stages of the permitting process and, once complete, will truck Bonanza Ledge ore to the 900 tonne per day QR Mill to be batch milled.

Is halt wie immer: Steige ich ein, fällt der Kurs, Steige ich nicht ein, steigt der Kurs.

Hab jetzt eigentlich auch nur aufgrund des Charts gekauft und wirklich nur Taschengeld drinnen.

Sollte sich da wirklich was entwickeln, kann ich ja noch nachlegen.

Was soll das ihr Jammerlappen. Man kann nicht erwarten, daß jedes Teil gleich nach dem Einstieg loslegt. Der Zeitfaktor ist zu groß. Macht die Augen zu und schaut im Herbst wieder nach dem Kurs. Dann ärgert zumindest Ovali1 sich, daß er nur mit Taschengeld drinn ist.

für mich sind die Tagesverläufe ein Indiz dafür, dass versucht wird noch günstig reinzukommen.
Wichtig ist der SK, und der passt.
Für Trader verlockend, aber wenn es nach oben schnalzt, hat man das Nachsehen.

Ach ja, hatte Kontakt zur IR. Der ist schwer im Stress, soll heissen, dass viel gearbeitet wird.
Auf die Frage, ob man noch mit Neuigkeiten vor Februar rechnen kann, antwortete er, dass eben viel gearbeitet wird an vielen Stellen, und auch vermeldet, sobald es Neues gibt. Mehr kann er auch nicht sagen....
Also ich bin gespannt, was die letzten Januartage noch so mit sich bringen.

Durch den Spread und die geringen Umsätze sehe ich hier für trading 0 Chance. Da musst du schon richtig glück haben, den Zeitpunkt zu erwischen. Ein weiterer Tag im Plus bei fallendem Goldpreis. Nicht schlecht, gute Aktie, morgen erwäge ich den Einstieg. Aus TA sicht stünde ein Ausbruch bevor, seitdem der 86er wiederstand durch ist.

mich würde mal interessieren,wie das mit der mühle ist.ist die nun schon gekauft oder soll diese gekauft werden und wann ist mit dem produktionsstart zu rechnen?bleibt das bei februar 2010?

Die Akquisition ist bis spätestens 1. Februar geplant und wird auch lt. Infos eingehalten.
Produktionsstart geplant im Monat Februar.
Lt. infos IR würde es Sinn machen, die Aktien vor dem Produktionsstart umbzubennen und zu listen.

Ich sehe es zwar etwas anders, aber es kann schon in die Richtung gehen. Vorletztes jahr haben alle das gleiche Geschrieben und übrig blieb nicht gerade die große Rendite.
knappe30% ist verglichen mit dem Markt auf Jahresbasis nicht unbedingt berauschend, aber für Wayside hat es ja gereicht.

Vancouver, BC - International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. ("Wayside", the "Company") wishes to announce that it has discovered a new zone, outside and north west of the proposed Cariboo Gold Quartz open pit mine on Cow Mountain, of replacement-like gold mineralization in a rock type not known before to carry gold within this camp. The assay results from the Company's 2009 drill campaign follow below. Highlights of these assays include:

Drill hole CM09-07 intercepted replacement-like gold mineralization:

13.5 meters (44.2 feet) of 5.06 g/T (0.148 oz/t) gold

Drill hole CM09-08 intercepted both replacement and quartz vein style gold mineralization:

10.1 meters (33.3 feet) of 1.51 g/T (0.044 oz/t) gold
The new replacement-like mineralization found in holes CM 09-06, 07, 08 and 11 is distinctly different than that found in the NI 43-101 resource at the proposed open pit at Cow Mountain and bears similarities to, yet different from, the higher-grade replacement ore found on the adjacent Island Mountain and Barkerville Mountain (the proposed Bonanza Ledge mine). While quartzite carrying lower-grade pyrite (with less gold associated with it) is common in the camp, drill hole CM09-07 carrying only 1-3% disseminated pyrite and/or blebs, for the first time returned as high 49.5 g/T gold in the pure grey blocky quartzite of Rainbow 1 Sub-unit at the Baker-Rainbow contact - indicating the potential discovery of a fourth style of gold mineralization on the Company's project.

Further drilling will be conducted in 2010 to gain a better control and understanding of the continuity of both the replacement/replacement-like and the quartz vein types of mineralized body intercepted by drill hole CM09-07, CM09-08 and other related drill holes mentioned above in the northwest Cow Mountain area.

The 2009 drill program on Cow and Barkerville Mountains targeted both the replacement and quartz vein types of gold mineralization. In total, 13 diamond drill holes (of which, 11 are on Cow Mountain and 2 on Barkerville Mountain) have been completed in the 2009 calendar year. Drill holes CM09-04 through CM09-11 are the first drill holes that the Company has done in the northwest Cow Mountain area, outside of the proposed pit.

About International Wayside Gold Mines

The Company has been developing its Cariboo Gold Project in Barkerville, B.C., which encompasses (from northwest to south east) the former producing Hardscrabble Tungsten Mine, Mosquito Creek Gold Mine (now on care and maintenance), Aurum Mine, Island Mountain Mine, Cariboo Gold Quartz Mine, Bonanza Ledge (proposed mine), the Cariboo Thompson Gold & Silver Mine and the Cariboo Hudson Mine. The Company commenced operations in the Cariboo District in 1994 and since that time has focused on the exploration and development of its gold properties. The Company's mineral tenures in the Historic Barkerville Gold Camp encompass approximately 1,065 square km (106,484 hectares) over a 60km by 20km wide belt. In the Historic Barkerville Gold Camp, 101 creeks have reported placer gold production. Recorded gold production from the area totals more than 3.8 million ounces, including an estimated 2.64 million ounces from placer mining and 1.23 million ounces from lode mining. On December 16, 2009, the Company entered into an agreement by which it will acquire the QR Mine and Mill, 110km by road from its Bonanza Ledge proposed open pit gold deposit.

Charttechnisch haben wir jetzt ein Problem, wir sind zwar über den letzten Widerstand gekommen der bei 0,86 CAD war, der hat aber nicht gehalten.

Somit könnte es zur nächsten Unterstützung zurück laufen, die bei 0,75 CAD ist....






Es sieht echt aus, als ob wir das GAP
vom Januar noch schließen will...............

Ja und genau das kommt an Fantasie noch dazu. Die Berichte in der Presse mehren sich, dass die Inflation in der zweiten Jahreshälfte viele Länder massiv treffen soll. War nur aufgeschoben und nicht aufgehoben.

Dies wiederum sollte den Goldpreis treiben.

Auch die Einschätzungen zum Goldpreis sind ja sehr positiv.

habe ich mir mal ausgeliehen, aber lesenswert....


Big money will be made with explorers and producers

Let me get right to the point. Gold's going to $5,000 an ounce.

I know that sounds preposterous to most people. In fact, some of you probably think I'm crazy.

But for a whole host of reasons, $5,000 may well end up being a conservative estimate.

So before you start posting comments that I've gone bonkers, hear me out...

In 2001, gold traded as low as $255 an ounce. Within eight years, its price had quadrupled to more than $1,100 an ounce. How many investors thought that was possible, or even likely? Probably not very many.

Yet, it happened.

What's more, since hitting its secular bottom back in 2001, gold has posted a positive return in every calendar year. So far, the current bull market has been pretty orderly.

During the past 10 years, gold has indeed become the trade of the decade, beating out commodities, oil, high-grade U.S. corporate bonds, U.S. Treasuries, and yes, U.S. stocks.

A crisp $100 bill invested 10 years ago would today be worth more than $400 in gold, $357 in commodities (as measured by the S&P GSCI Enhanced Total Return Index), $268 in oil, $190 in corporate bonds or U.S. Treasuries, and only $90 in U.S. stocks.

That's right: We're talking about a $10 loss in U.S. stocks over 10 years. Ouch.

Meanwhile, gold has embarked upon a secular upward trend that is far from over. If the 1970's are any indication, gold's going much, much higher from here.

When U.S. President Richard M. Nixon opted to close the gold window in August 1971, the yellow metal had already risen from its fixed price of $35 an ounce to $42 an ounce. By the time gold peaked in 1980, it had risen to $850, rewarding early investors with a 2,400% return. My guess is that any such forecast in 1970 would probably have been met with the same kind of ridicule I expect that my current projection could attract.

Granted, there's no guarantee that we're about to duplicate the 1970s. (I could certainly do without the disco, bell bottoms and leisure suits). But as Mark Twain once noted: "History does not repeat itself, but it often rhymes."

And that could mean even sweeter returns for gold investors this time around.

In fact, let's crunch a few numbers - just for fun.

Why $5,000 an ounce gold isn't out of bounds

To start with, let's take the 1980 peak price of gold - $850 - and adjust it for inflation. That would take the price of gold to $2,400 in present-day terms.

Better still, let's take the 2,400% gain that gold experienced during the 1970s and translate it into present-day terms. From the 2001 low of $255 an ounce, a 2,400% gain would take the yellow metal all the way up to $6,120 an ounce, making my $5,000 price projection seem a lot more reasonable.

But these are just superficial price comparisons. If we look at what the fundamentals are telling us, it's clear that gold at $1,100 is a long way from its eventual peak, meaning it still appears cheap.

So let's take a closer look.

Five fundamental reasons gold will soar

Gold Fundamental No. 1: You Can't Ignore Inflation: The 2008 stock market panic sent stock and commodity prices - including the price of oil - into a tailspin. And that launched the big debate about whether inflation or deflation would ultimately carry the day. Keep in mind that since 2001 - under benign price inflation of roughly 2.5% - gold has managed to rise about 400%. Meanwhile, the U.S. Federal Reserve is widely expected to keep short-term rates near zero through this year, leaving the door open for rampant inflation.

Meanwhile, quantitative easing to shorten the recession has caused America's monetary base to explode. Starting in October 2008, during a very short span of only four months, the central bank doubled the U.S. money supply, going way beyond anything ever attempted in the nation's history.

Worldwide, central banks have rolled out an unprecedented $12 trillion worth of stimulus programs, with most of the money still to be spent.

Make no mistake, inflation will win out over deflation.

Gold Fundamental No. 2: Investment Demand is Exploding: Large institutional investors - hedge funds and pension funds - are making large allocations to gold, as are individual investors.

The proliferation of gold-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs) bears this out. The SPDR Gold Trust (NYSE: GLD, Stock Forum), the world's largest physically backed ETF with 1,100 tons of the lustrous metal, is the sixth-largest holder of gold bullion. Individual investors have never had an easier avenue for owning gold.

This isn't just merely a U.S. manifestation. According to the World Gold Council, demand advanced 15% from the second quarter to the third last year.

Asia, with a population that exceeds 2.5 billion inhabitants and a long-standing cultural affinity for gold, is stoking global demand in a big way. China is overtly encouraging its citizens to buy gold and silver, while offering them gold-linked checking accounts. China is primed to overtake India as the world's largest consumer of gold. A quickly developing middle class whose members are experiencing rapid escalations in disposable income are a major bullish driver for the price of gold.

Gold Fundamental No. 3: Central Banks are Becoming Net Buyers: India's recent purchase of 200 tons of International Monetary Fund (IMF) gold was the likely impetus that pushed gold up over the $1,200 level in December. But more important is the sea change that has seen central banks morph from net sellers into net buyers of gold. BlackRock Inc. (NYSE: BLK, Stock Forum), one of the world's largest investment managers, said that 2009 was that turning point. If that was the case, it will have been the first time in 20 years, as central banks have been net sellers of gold since 1988.

Gold Fundamental No. 4: A Currency Crisis is Looming: The "PIGS" - Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain (or "PIIGS," if you want to include Ireland) - aren't in very good fiscal shape. And they aren't alone. Iceland has already gone over the edge. The United States, the United Kingdom, and countless other economies are struggling. And that reality has ignited a crisis of confidence about fiat currencies in the minds of many investors. Money is nothing more than paper and ink, backed by the full faith and credit of the issuer. When investors find that their faith in the issuer is shaken, the value of that currency erodes. Additional sovereign-debt downgrades from ratings agencies are but one potential trigger of a currency crisis. Under such conditions, gold - the ultimate store of value, and the oldest existing form of money on earth - will soar as investors seek to protect their purchasing power.

Gold Fundamental No. 5: We've Yet to Reach the Mania Stage: As we've outlined before, the gold bubble that takes prices to all-time-record levels will inflate in three distinct stages. This process will start with currency devaluations in Stage One, will be fueled by growing investment demand in Stage Two and will experience its stratospheric ascent in Stage Three, the mania phase of this evolution.

Make no mistake, the $5,000 price point will most likely be reached in this third and final phase. The price of gold will behave like it is strapped to a jet pack. And today's market prices will be dwarfed by the levels gold prices will ultimately achieve.

Keep in mind, the entire gold industry has an aggregate market capitalization (value) below that of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) alone (currently about $210 billion). So as the crowd piles in, the "big money" to be made will lie with gold explorers and producers, where 1,000% returns will not be uncommon, even from today's prices.

All these fundamentals underscore that gold prices have plenty of room to run from here.

And since I expect gold will eventually reach the $5,000 range that leaves plenty of room for investors to profit by entering at current levels.

It's time to make your move

Everyone needs some exposure to gold in their portfolios, no matter their age or risk tolerance. Owning some physical coins or bars makes sense, but it's complicated to do inside most retirement accounts.

That's why the explorers and producers of the gold sector promise the biggest payoffs. Although production costs will rise, as gold prices rise, profit margins are sure to expand even faster. Once cocktail-party conversations turn to gold, for any one of the reasons I've outlined, gold stocks will erupt and then streak for record highs.

When will this happen? I think it will take a few years. But with bubbles, or speculative frenzies, one never knows. Just this week, in fact, Robert R. McEwen, the chairman and chief executive officer of U.S Gold Corp. (AMEX: UXG, Stock Forum), predicted that gold could more than quadruple to hit the $5,000 level by 2012. Some experts have labeled this expected move as a looming "super-spike."

When this happens, gold is likely to create a whole new generation of millionaires, and even a few new billionaires. Despite the mania stage being several years away, the wise investor recognizes both the importance and the potential of investing in gold.

I have no doubt that today's $1,100 gold price level will eventually, in hindsight, look like an outrageous bargain.

My advice: If you own gold and gold shares, hang onto them and buy more on dips. If you don't, what on earth are you waiting for?

The new zone that was announced is part of Cow Mountain, which is a NI43-101 compliant resource and proposed open pit mine. The company is planning to have this project (Cow Mountain) in production by year 3 of mining operations.

What did you read about in Stockhouse? There will be news as the Company is working on many things.

The Conference was VERY BUSY. It is one of the best of the year (anywhere in the world) as MANY people attended.

Wayside will complete the current financing ($10 million @ 80 cents) that was announced last month. Other than that, I do not know of any plans to do anymore financings.

Genau deshalb verstehe ich die aktuelle Bewertung nicht. Wir stehen unmittelbar vor der Produktion. Und eben bei diesem Goldpreis sind wir HOCHPROFITABEL! Wir haben aktuell noch nicht mal eine MK von 40MioCad. Nicht zu vergessen die letzten guten News allein in diesem Jahr.
Dann noch die Insiderkäufe der letzten Wochen und das PP, das höher durchgeführt wurde als der Kurs heute steht...

Meiner Meinung nach kann ein deutlicher Kursanstieg nicht mehr lange auf sich warten lassen!

wenn du in einer goldaktie investiert bist, solltest du vielleicht auch mal nach dem goldpreis schauen. dann klärt sich so eine frage von selbst.

verstehe wirklich nicht wieso es immer so schwer fällt sich dinge zu erklären, das unternehmen hat doch nun sogar gold im namen und man sieht und liest doch auf jeder seite, was heute mit dem dollar und daraus resultierend dem gold oder ölpreis passiert...

Damit legt das Unternehmen mit der bereits 4. News im Januar den Endspurt ein vom Explorer zum Produzenten zu werden!

Ich glaube wer die Interviews von früher kennt, weiß wie sehr sich der CEO immer auf diesen Moment gefreut hat. Er hat sinngemäß gesagt es ist sein Traum nach all der Arbeit das Projekt in Produktion gehen zu sehen.

der mm in frk geht mir nen bisl auf hänkel. als es in canada auf 76 cent runter ging lag meine order genau saftig bereit auf 0,52 euro cent in frk das entspricht einem wert von 0,517 euro cent! und ich wurde natürlich nicht bedient. naja der cad mm sieht auch nich so recht licht am ende des tunnels. taxt hin und her.

Ich würde gar nicht so auf den Goldpreis starren! Ich glaube der momentane Goldpreis spielt bei dem Kurs, wenn sich das Unternehmen vom Explorer zum Produzenten mausert erst einmal eine untergeordnete Rolle!

INTERNATIONAL WAYSIDE GOLD MINES TO CHANGE NAME TO BARKERVILLE GOLD MINES LTD.

International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. will change its name to Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. effective on Jan. 21, 2010. The company's shares will trade under the stock symbol BGM on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Frank Callaghan, president and chief executive officer, stated: "The new name is reflective of the rich history of gold production in the area and the evolution of the company as it moves towards production. The company is entering a new era and the board of directors felt that a new name would better represent the company."

Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. is the result of the amalgamation of the assets of four public companies, including the recently announced agreement to purchase the QR mine and mill. As announced in Stockwatch on Jan. 11, 2010, a permit to mine has been granted for the west zone at the QR mine, with mining operations scheduled to commence in February of 2010, upon closing of the acquisition.
