In total, now 15 out of i-mobilize's 21 H & F apps are in the Top 200. 2 days ago Gabrielle Roth had two apps that were not in the top 200, now they are (#'s 195/196). Glenn Harrold continues to be the most popular of i-mobilize apps, occupying 4 of MRNJ's top 5 iPAD apps. Also note as you look at the top 200 list from appshopper that i-mobilize's iPad apps dominate those apps that sell for over $9 - Of the 30 apps in Health& Fitness that sell for $9 or more, i-mobilize sells half of them (15). Amazing, people are still buying. Noting that since my last post on July 20 showing rankings, that a bunch of i-mobilize titles have dropped considerably in the top 200 rankings. I suspect that it is the demographic that buys during the week increasing the ranking of the cheap apps, while the weekend buyers (older adults with more time/money) buy the more expensive ones (i.e. i-mobilize). I will have to examine the ranking come next Monday to see if hypothesis is validated.

Note: At the end of the three months April - June 2010, i-Mobilize had 41 i-Pad apps available for purchase. The genre breaks down like this:

Fast day for i-mobilize iPad purchases. Impressive jump in rankings for MRNJ's Health & Fitness apps as 8 titles are now grossing in the top 100. Leading the pack at #16, is Glenn Harrold Exercise & Fitness Motivation Sub Hypnosis app. Yet again making big jumps are Father Thomas Ryan and Richard Freeman. I dont know who these guys are, but someone likes them!
As for the Lifestyle category, we swapped one Eckhart Tolle title for another. With the high prices of MRNJ's apps, I see their titles do some wild swings day-to-day in the gross rankings.

As a side note, I posted the rankings on yahoo - I wont do that every day, but now and then (something decent has to get posted on the yahoo message forum - sheesh).

Glenn Harrold titles did well in the last 24 hours, with 4 of his i-Pad apps jumping up in the ranks (i.e. someone purchased at least 1 of each). Also, note, this list ignores sales of these same title as iPhone, Android apps, etc. - I havent found a site that tracks the Android purhases like the Apple products. For IPhone, you will find some of these apps in the top 200 ranks, but not as many. I also dont have the time to compile the iPhone ranks. However, newb1978 provided a rank list for i-Phone over this past weekend.

Both L2 and chart shows 0.005 is tough support, very possible for bouncing.

Since the company is selling apps for iphone and ipad and its low operating cost basis structure, let's look at the sales record. Currently MRNJ has 300M a/s, o/s is close the max.




Revenue:

Long term debts:
1stQ $576k 2ndQ $557k 3.4% decrease. *Note they wiped out most of old debts last quarter. from $4M to $576k.


As you see, their revenue goes up as they release more apps every quarter and due to low cost operating structure, the debts are not accumulated. The $4M before i-mobilize joined was from mostly former XRG's. People say Joe brought the debts from his former company, Rcomm, but it's not true. Most of debts were inheritted from XRG, trucking company which was traded under this shell before reverse merger.

"i-Mobilize is currently in Phase I of a three phase build-out plan. The goals of
Phase I are to acquire contracts and content for its content library to be
developed into apps for sale to consumers for use in their mobile devices.
Phase II is expected to begin during the 3rd Quarter and will focus on
aggressive distribution of apps. Phase III is expected to begin in the 4th
Quarter and will focus on marketing and promotion in order to optimize
revenues during the Holiday Shopping Season 2010."


As I remember, JOe accquired around 25000 licenses for contents to distribute. As of now, they released 5000 apps for iphone and ipad having 400% more apps ready to be compiled and launched. Also, the revenues until 2ndQ is probably mainly for iphone apps which usually costs btw $0.99~$2.99. Apps for ipad is well over $7.99 upto $60. And recent sales trend in i-tune store shows apps for ipad is growing faster than iphone, expect ipad app download will exceed iphone by mid 2013 with this speed. Since i-mobilize is very active in converting existing/releasing new ipad apps out or their content library recently, the revenue probably goes up fast begining 2nd half of this year and next year.


I expect on 4th Q, they probably generate well over $170k~$300k.




Also, in the financial, Joe mentioned the company is not heading to penertrate Android app market. And there will be more and more app stores online available for app distributors. Last year, the giant Asian and European data careers met and agreed to open a united app stores to compete i-tune store. They probably distribute lots of Anroid apps through the store. More app stores, more mobile users contribute more revenue to i-mobilize's revenue.


As I've followed Joe, current CEO, first I didn't like him releasing PRs each day when they release new iphone app, which made the stock looks as a pump/dump stock with series of PRs. But he seems as he changed the behavior after Victoria joined and hired a professional PRist and noticed the words in PR sound much more professional. I also noticed Joe is very active and aggressive in accquiring content distribution licenses. I think this guy is really amazing.

Stats on i-Mobilize iPad app Prices (9-25-10)

We have 137 iPad apps for sale as of 9/25/10.

7 apps for $1 (5.1%)
10 apps for $1.99-$4.99 (7.3%)
53 apps for $5.00-$9.99 (38.7%)
31 apps for $10.00-$14.99 (22.6%)
30 apps for $15.00-$19.99 (21.9%)
6 apps for $20.00+ (4.4%)
So, in effect, 44.5%, or almost half of our apps sell for $10.00-$20.00.

+MRNJ's cut on apps developed with someone else's content is ~ 35% of the purchase price. So, a $10 app sold nets MRNJ $3.50, A $20 app sold nets MRNJ $7.

+For i-Mobilize owned content, the company cut is 70% of the app purchase price. i-Mobilize owned content accounts for 7 of our 137 apps and 5 of our 7 $1 apps.

+A $1 app with content owned-by MRNJ nets the company $0.70 per purchase. Note that only 5% of our apps for iPad sell for one $1.

This post updates my revenue projections for the 3rd quarter ending September 30, 2010. The 9/20/10 posting was based on 118 apps. Now that we have 137, I have calculated an update to the numbers:

Revenue increases have continued through the first two months of the 3rd Quarter with weekly revenues as follows: Week ended August 1, 2010 - $4,355; August 8 - $4,514; August 15 - $5,422; August 22 - $6,618; August 29 - $8,149 for a monthly total of $29,058, a 22% improvement over July revenues which were $23,896.

StormKing Comment: This is THE SINGLE biggest paragraph of the entire PR and validated what I have been projecting (and mayhap made it easier to calculate than using my laborious methods). First, they did better in July than I expected. I had conservatively assumed $18,000 in my projections, but here they go and tell us (transparency folks!) it was $23,986. For August, When the big iPad/Universal App explosion occurred, we saw enormous leaps. Remember, we didn’t get the big increase in apps until we had 6 apps released on August 12, 13 apps on August 17th, and 15 apps released on August 25th. The August 25th releases had key titles in there like Mindfulness, Kaballah Meditation, and a significant number of our hugely popular Yoga apps. So no surprise that we had our biggest week yet at the end of August.

However, how the PR was worded confused me. What does week ended August 1 mean? Is that Monday, July 26 thru Sunday, August 1? If so the Week ended August 29th is August 23-29. Which leaves me confused that the PR total number for August-= the sum of the numbers provided (i.e. $4,355+$4,514+$5,422+,$6618+$8,149 = $29,058). But what does that mean for Aug 30, 31? I just don’t know for sure! But, for now, I gotta take them literally that September numbers will include Aug 30,31 since that is probably how they run their numbers, on a weekly Mon-Sun period.
So, for the sake of projections, I will assume the Week ended Aug 29th, earned us a whopping $8,149. And will include Aug 30, 31 into September.

These numbers provided for revenues (yes, major transparency from the company thank you!) bode incredibly well for September as those Yoga apps have continued to sell exceptionally well. Just basing September revs on that last burst in August plus assuming no additional apps added in September (which we know we have 33 already), we would have a projected weekly breakdown like this (assume it takes 7 days to make that $8,149):

Aug 30-Sept 5: $8149
Sep6-12: $8149
Sep 13-19: $8149
Sep 20-25: $8149
Sep 26-30: $6984
This nets us $39,580 for Aug 30- September 30. All told, for Q3 we have $23,986 (July) + $29,058 (August) + $39,580 (Sep) = $92,624, which is about a +66% sequential increase from Q2.

However,lets now crudely calculate our revenues for September upon including the current 33 apps released (and we are ignoring iPhone and other mobile devices yet again). If 85 apps = $8,149 per week, then 118 apps, upon ratioing it, gives us $11,312 per 7 days. Let us also account, roughly again, for when apps were released in September.

Aug 29-Sept 5: $4,657 (we added 8 apps on Sept 3)
Sept 6-12: $9,656 (we added 9 apps on Sept 7th)
Sept 12-18: $10,464 (we added 10 apps on 9/14 and 6 on 9/16)
Sept 19-25: $11,311 (we assume 118 apps through the end of month)
Sept 26-30: $8,080 (5 days in Week)

This nets us $47,015 for Aug 30-September 30 (without any more apps added through the end of the month!), which for Q3 Total is $23,986 (July)+ $29,058 (August)+ $44,168 (Sept) = $97212, which is about a +76% sequential increase from Q2.

Now, that last portion, updated to account for 51 apps now released through September 25, 2010:

Aug 29-Sept 5: $4,657 (we added 8 apps on Sept 3)
Sept 6-12: $9,656 (we added 9 apps on Sept 7h)
Sept 12-18: $10,464 (we added 10 apps on 9/14 and 6 on 9/16)
Sept 19-25: $12,858 (we added 18 apps on 9/20 and 1 on 9/21)
Sept 26-30: $9,380 (5 days in Week)

With this update to 137 apps, this nets i-Mobilize $47,015 for Aug 30-September 30 (without any more apps added last 5 days of the month!), which for Q3 Total is $23,986 (July)+ $29,058 (August)+ $47,015 (Sept) = $100,059, which is about a +80% "sequential" increase from Q2.

Again, I acknowledge this is crude since we dont know how much is iphone vs. iPad or what Blackberry, Android, and other revenue producing efforts are bringing in, but it does give some estimation beyond mere guesswork (IMO).

Continued Improvement On ALL Fronts!!! - (Update: Must Read)


1. Total Income for the three month period ended June 30, 2010 increased to $55,571 from $34,790 for the March Quarter,

...a 60% increase.


2. Net Income/Loss improved 57% to ($127,073) in the Quarter ended June 30, 2010 from ($296,394) in the Quarter ended March 31, 2010.

...again, a 57% improvement.


3. Total Costs decreased to $182,644 in the June Quarter from $331,184 in the March Quarter,

...a 45% improvement

Note: This is despite the additional programming costs incurred in adapting all i-Mobilize existing apps to the new iPhone 4 operating system.


4. Furthermore....
