      BUSINESS REVIEW

During the period under review, the Group successfully diversified its investment portfolio to include investments in the information technology area with a focus on internet related business and cable TV programme production.

In August 1999, the Group acquired 60% shareholding interest in China Enterprise.com Limited which provides and maintains one of the largest database of Chinese enterprises in the People`s Republic of China (the PRC). Most of these web sites have a Greater China emphasis and are mass market oriented. This surely makes the Dong Jin Xin Cheng , which is only one-railway distance apart from the new airport, has much larger value-added potential in this condition.
The development is scheduled to be developed in several phases and the whole development will be completed on or about 2004.

In 1999, an agreement was made between Hong Kong and Shenzhen governments for the development of this fourth corridor.

      Future

The company has extremely high levels of debt and not nearly enough cash to service it. The ratio is total debt to equity is over 11 times. They have diluted shares too much, and there`s nothing to stop them from using that tactic again. In addition, the company changed its name and hinted at a bright future in the IT industry in the PRC. If it can`t handle its own core business, it probably shouldn`t be jumping onto the high-tech bandwagon. Not an interesting investment.

Monday January 10, 5:51 am Eastern Time

Sino-i.com , IBM to develop web platform
HONG KONG, Jan 10 (Reuters) - Information technology firm Sino-i.com and IBM Greater China Group (NYSE:IBM - news) said on Monday they had formed a partnership to develop an e-commerce platform for Greater China.
The platform, called e-MarketPlace, would allow member companies to perform real-time buisiness-to-business transactions over the Internet, the companies said in a joint news conference.
E-MarketPlace would be launched in traditional and simplified Chinese around the third quarter of this year and would serve Sino-i.com`s ChinaEnterprise.com e-commerce website.
ChinaEnterprise.com, which has 600,000 member companies, would charge a basic subscription fee of about 3,000 yuan (about HK$2,808.00) per month to use its services, including the e-MarketPlace platform.
The deal between IBM and Sino-i.com, formerly known as South Sea Development Co Ltd, was not exclusive, said Henry Chow, chairman of IBM Greater China Group.
``It`s not exclusive but it signals a new trend in partnerships, where we hope to form more alliances with bigger and better companies operating in mainland China,`` he said.
Sino-i.com has obtained 24 percent subscription rights for CITIC Guoan Information Industry Ltd, a mainland China information services firm that provides financial and securities information and the operation of cable network systems, satellite communications and mobile communications development.
Sino-i.com shares finished up 1.33 percent at HK$0.76 on
      Monday.

      Jan 10,2000 - 18:57:19 HKT

Chief executive officer of Sino-i.com (0250) Mr. P.H. Yu said the company has already invested HK$50 million in its China`s Internet business. He expects that a further HK$100 million will be invested in the coming twelve months.

Sino-i.com has teamed up with IBM to expand their e-business in China. Besides providing e-commerce service, the joint venture also serves as a middleman to promote China`s export products. The firm has already started operating in Beijing and Shenzhen and has obtained business data from some 600,000 Chinese enterprises. Mr. Yu said the market prospect is good.

The chief executive officer for IBM`s Greater China Region division said a very rapid growth will be seen in the mainland e-commerce market. He expects the market to see an annual turnover of US$50 billion soon. IBM will develop its e-commerce in the Greater China Region through its partnership with Sino-i.com.

      Jan 10,2000 - 18:59:44 HKT

The chief executive officer of Sino-i.com Ltd (0250) Mr P. H. Yu said its results as at the end of this March would indicate a sharp improvement in its corporate finance. He said the company`s equity-to-debt ratio is expected to drop significantly.

      ----------

      Sino-i.com nach Angaben ihres Geschäftsführers
stecken. Bislang hat der Konzern, der über 80% seiner
Einnahmen mit Hotels verdient, bereits 50 Mio. HKD in
eine gemeinsam mit IBM Greater China Group.
      entwickelte E-Commerce-Entwicklung gesteckt.

      MfG

The Stock Exchange has received a message from Sino-i.com Limited which is
      reproduced as follows:-

"This statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong
      Limited.

We have noted the recent increases in the price and the trading volume of
the shares of the Company and wish to state that we are not aware of any
      reasons for such increases.

We confirm that there are no negotiations or agreements relating to
intended acquisitions or realisations which are discloseable under
paragraph 3 of the Listing Agreement, neither is the Board aware of any
matter discloseable under the general obligation imposed by paragraph 2 of
the Listing Agreement, which is or may be of a price-sensitive nature.

Made by order of the Board of Sino-i.com Limited, the directors of which
individually and jointly accept responsibility for the accuracy of this
      statement.

      For and on behalf of
      Sino-i.com Limited

      Lam Bing Kwan
      Director

      9th February 2000"

      Hallo supersoenk!!

Bin schon seit mitte Dezember mit 0,09 € in sino. Ich bin echt
beruhigt, dass dieser Wert so leise anfängt. Gegenbeispiele gibt
Deshalb hoffe
      ich auf einen stetigen Anstieg.
Warum heute allerdings 33,3%??? Ich denke, der Kurs wird hier auf
jeden Fall in Hongkong gemacht.
